The dilemma of trying to choose a genre or two almost killed me like… folk rock or chick punk… i went with folk bc i had a better idea of it in my head and I’ve been a folk/folk rock fan since I was in diapers lol

I imagine Folk trolls to be centaurs because in my headcanon they're descended from Country trolls (though in real life Country came from Folk).

I imagine Bard trolls to be centaurs, satyrs and tieflings because Bards have been in the fantasy genre for a long time. I like to think they sing the occasional Folk song as they're descended from Folk trolls.

Making masks & shifting forms

In your Wolf form, you have access to the benefits of your beastly Attributes, can sing magical Spellsongs, and can resist harm with your Resolve. In your Mortal form, you'll switch your Attributes, Spellsongs, and Resolve out for strong, flexible Mortal Powers that can turn the tide of any situation they're used in. Through character advancement, you can strengthen yourself as you see fit. Perhaps you favor one form over the other, or you may switch between them frequently. The choice is yours.

– this whole - the dancing, singing, pole...raising. it is all rather ridiculous... 'midsummer'. i fail to... see the point of this human... invention. for once.

arvo's words were slurred, uneven - as if merely letting them past his lips was a great effort... this was, no doubt, influenced by the drink in his hand, resting on his stomach. folke, who had, in fact, brewed the alcohol that they were drinking, giggled - not exactly sober himself.

Oh, shit!

I just saw a Folk Troll OC pic and they're similar to one of the ideas I have for my take on Folk Trolls!

My ideas for them are:

Folk Trolls is that they resemble Satyrs/Fauns and Centaurs (for my concept, they're descended from Country Trolls).

Inspired by fantasy, bards, and the Speakers from Castlevania.

They're a nomadic tribe.

They're compassionate and all about helping those in need.

My concept is a work-in-progress.

If you're the creator of the concept of folk trolls for that particular OC, I'm sorry! Please don't flay me! 😫
