I’m gonna be real. that was the best event so far of qsmp. I enjoyed it so much and have collected my thoughts so here’s an appreciation post! :D

Now I understand why it took the team over a month to work on this. The lead-up preparations with Cucurucho giving Jaiden’s tasks all culminating into today, the teaser images, update account tweets. The giant, amazingly designed custom dungeon with tons of hidden lore, and new developed mod additions like the live countdown timer??? I can’t imagine how much effort and time that took. They seriously outdid themselves.

And the creators all brought their A-game to this despite not knowing anything about what was happening. They all played it super well and roleplayed their characters perfectly:

Jaiden carried the whole mission. I was so impressed at how she solo monologued the entire two hour long journey and never stopped being entertaining. Foolish embraced the role of comic relief and relieved the stress. Cellbit, back to the grind, went crazy with his hardcore investigative work. Bad was the reason they all didn’t perish instantly, and kept the team alive to see the end. Richarlyson was an amazing support that brought everything together.

Like today had it all!!! the qsmp’s iconic qommunication “we won’t let you be alone,” and the comedy, scooby doo shenanigans, mortal peril, horrors, care and love, trauma bonding, family moments, theorycrafting. I loved it soooo much <3

Bringing The Eggs back won't fix it. It simply won't. It's a domino effect, The Eggs' disappearance was just the first domino to fall.

Bad would still have faded becoming one with the soul vultures, and his words would still have dripped with a honey sweet poison.

Forever and Pac would have still taken the pills, and too wide smiles framed by tears would still have been plastered on their faces.

Tubbo would still have blamed himself, and he would still have banged on glass as lava threatened to drown him.

Etoiles would still have slowly become one with his sword and shield, and he still would have lost as the burden of being guardian weighted heavy.

Baghera would still have come back terrified of what her past truly means, and she would still have made promises of lovely decay.

Philza would still have been lured to a cage by a sweetly false siren song, and he would still have come back unsure of reality itself.

Foolish and Roier would still have hidden their emotions for the benefit of others, and their quiet despair would still have only been noticed by those closest to them.

The Eggs coming back does not fix any of this, does not erase any of this. It simply cannot be fixed that easily. The fallen dominoes are difficult to clean up.

It's always so intriguing to watch Foolish from another perspective during lore, because it usually really is just guesswork to his thoughts and motives. Even during the moments he's being entirely honest, he can be hard to pin down.

Watching Foolish there's no question as to how much he knows, or how much he cares. It's always more than you think. You get to watch him choose to play a happy go lucky idiot, and then join in the act in chat. Watching him break down that act today was fun.

First with Fit, his joyful positive attitude starting to crack after looking through Leo's photos. His moment to gather himself before talking, his trailing off and voice cracks when asked if he's okay, only to change the subject immediately.

Then with Bad, talking about their months on the island and just what trust means. Considering how to weed out a federation puppet, going over theories with each other after just having told one another that the best way to find the rat is to give theories out one at a time to find the leak.

I’ll have to watch Fit's perspective of today later, but I know with Bad, the mood change was obvious - and yet somehow, he managed to get away with much more than he let on.

Still, it’s obvious he’s starting to crack, with Leo being gone, with Bad clearly deteriorating - you can’t pretend to be happy and carefree for forever, when the stress is this high.

okay guys hello hi so a (more serious) post before we’re back to the sillies but like I’ve seen a bit of this in the QSMP community recently and I feel like it needs to be addressed

you’re free to dislike a creator/cc’s fanbase, but don’t lump them all together. Every fanbase has its different parts, and that means that not everybody is the same. I’ve seen this most with Wilbur and Phil mains, how people are like “oh you’re oblivious and don’t care to watch other streamers” or whatever it is, and often they get accused of summing characters/creators up to all they know them as through Phil or Wilbur or their relationships with other characters. This isn’t to say that doesn’t happen, but it’s not nearly as common as many seem to think!

This is coming from someone who has been watching Phil for going on four years now; we know more than you think, and often there are actual reasons for why we don’t watch other ccs. For me, it’s because I can rarely tune in when people are actually live thanks to school and work and such, so I take to watching vods and clips to keep caught up on the events. I am also not fully bilingual (English, and I speak partial Spanish but fast Spanish still confuses me sometimes) which makes it hard to watch people like the Brazilian or French players (I don’t speak either language) outside of clips where they’re playing with the English or Spanish speakers! As a result, my knowledge of many of them (Mike, Bagi, Antoine, etc) is pretty limited. I try my best to keep up with everyone on character stuff, but it can be hard if we’re busy. Another thing is that a large part of (especially) Phil’s fanbase are adults, who have families or college or work and they can’t always keep up with every minute detail or trait of characters, and I know this is true for many other cc’s fanbases as well.

of course, everybody is allowed to have their own opinions, and it’s okay if you aren’t a fan of a cc or their fans! All I’m asking is that we don’t hate on those creators or their fans, especially if it’s because you’ve had not great experiences with some of their fans. Often I think the former DSMP members fans are seen as stupid little kids who are toxic and childish, while in reality most of us are over 16 or even adults. Phil, Foolish, Slime, Quackity, etc were never really the problematic part of the dsmp fanbase, which was kind of split into Techno’s friends and their fans (who were always pretty chill for the most part) and then dream’s friends and their fans (who were and still are pretty problematic a lot of the time). I never was a huge dsmp enjoyer, so I never really watched the lore and preferred to watch their other stuff, but I always disliked the dream team and their little group, they always rubbed me the wrong way.

I only truly watch Phil’s streams, but I’ve taken up watching Cellbit and Fit as well, even if I can’t understand Cellbit sometimes, so remember that we won’t know everything niche about characters because of the language barriers! Don’t be a dick or rude to people who are unaware of certain parts of lore and such because they don’t watch multiple creators, we want to keep the QSMP fandom a chill safe place where people don’t feel hated or excluded just because of which creator(s) they watch, so in summary just be nice to everyone and don’t hate on people just because they don’t do things the same way as you. This community was created with the purpose of bringing people together and breaking barriers, so let’s try and keep that moral in mind while interacting with other fans!

TLDR: you’re free to dislike creators or their fans, just don’t lump them all together and say they’re all clueless or don’t care about any other characters! Let’s keep the point of the QSMP fandom what Quackity intended—breaking language barriers and bringing people together/lifting them up instead of putting them down :)

During r/place last year, Rubius shared some Karmaland lore with Foolish (in the midst of many a Discord calls between allies and enemies as the pixel war waged 😅). Karmaland V was the server Quackity was part of before he began QSMP, and Titi, the little alien tree creature Rubius and Foolish have this discussion about, is believed to be the inspiration behind QSMP's Egg.

Rubius: It's an... alien tree. An alien tree. [To his chat] He keeps calling him a cat! It came from inside a friend called Staxx. He was pregnant, and this came out of him.

Foolish: That's- that must've been intense.

Rubius: Yeah, a little bit. [Laughs]

Foolish: And- and that was your... like, became like your kid kinda? Or like a- you were like an uncle for it?

Rubius: Yeah, I'm his... father because I was the only one taking care of him.

Foolish: Ohhh, but then you did a bad job and he died?

Rubius: No, I- I- no. He died because he saved us.

Foolish: OHHH wow!

Rubius: From a massive attack, yes.

Foolish: That's very- that's very noble of Titi.

Rubius: Yes.

So, Cucuruchos.

There are so many of them that it is hard to differentiate each one. So let's make this straight:

CUCURUCHO is missing. My guess that he's been missing since before purgatory.

OSITO BIMBO took over for him and is even doing live streams. But is also doing his own investigations since the Fed doesn't let him know anything. Like, he didn't even knew the islanders went missing in that first live.

EVILRUCHO/■■■■■ invaded the Island after scaping the Feds and went on and killed Quackity.

He is now in hell torturing Quackity. It had a scene where is looked like he was impersonating Tilín, or maybe it is Tilin. But we know little to nothing about them. People also call them Oscurucho wich is a dope name.

And the very very new ones:

Portuguese speaking Cucurucho (that we know from some Bagi shenanigans that it's the same admin of Xaninho)

Portuguese Cucas was the one waking up the eggs (he left the voice box in Portuguese lol. Or maybe is was on purpose). Also, through Foolish's pov and the livestreams we know the feds have an entity called "The Doctor", and this cucurucho has been seen with a mask many times. Also, Alexandre's item is a mask, maybe a hint. So yeah. The Doctor.

French Cucurucho. The different looking cucurucho, with a different paw and pink nose. I've seen people call them Pinky. It is the one that appeared for Antoine. And the second and last time we saw Pinky (french cucurucho) was when they were giving away minime eggs after the A0 event.

Update: some lovely soul just told in the comments that the french fans are calling them Ourson

UPDATE: I saw a screenshot of Etoiles' live, where it showed a poster on a lab of the Federation, where they were keeping the captured code. It was talking about the dangers of the code infection and what to do and how to approach the entity blablaa And at the very end of it there was a photo of the face of a cucurucho with the text "Stay safe", or something like that.

Expect the cucurucho face had a mean scar across their right eye. And, it could be the weird angle of the shot, but their nose looked a little more on the brown side.

So.

We just might have a sixth one on the mix, boys! Hooray! God have mercy on my soul..

Q!Foolish & Q!Tubbo

Ok So I haven't watched the fight between Leo and Sunny but since the vod had Q!Tubbo and Q!Foolish interactions I'm going to rant about how they're very similar characters with similar interactions with other islanders. (Most of this applies to their characters but also their IRL personalitys)

Ok, so first from an outsiders perspective, q!Tubbo and q!Foolish's personality are merely "silly" and "fun" and are never really taken seriously unless it involves their main stuff (Building and Create). Like I was watching Phil's VOD today and Phil joked in game chat about the code coming to attack because he'd be with 3 eggs and BOTH Foolish and Tubbo said "PERFECT" in chat. But have their own serious lore with only them and them closest to them (Time Machine and Infiltrating the Feds).

Next is their relationship with other islanders. They're both very close with Federation workers(romantic and platonic), and BOTH got heavily pranked by q!BBH with their important builds. (The dragon and Tubhole). They're both single parents (for now hopefully) and are close with their eggs. and OH BOY DON'T GET ME STARTED ON SUNNY AND LEO. They're a WHOLE other analysis of their own, but they're SO similar it hurts. EVEN in the way with how they struggle(d) to make friends.

In conclusion, obviously they have their differences but Q!Tubbo and Q!Foolish are similar in the way their characters act and function and similar with how the Island treats them and I NEED to see more interactions between those 2 and I wanna see them get up to some shenanigans. (I might update this thread when I actually watch the vod who knows :P)
