Vaggie: “A letter of complaint probably isn’t gonna do much, babe.”
Charlie: “I don’t care.”
Vaggie: “Neither will Lute.”
Charlie: “I don’t care! Emily- will she at least read it?”
Emily: “Reading stuff is one of Lute’s main jobs, since Adam never wanted to.”
Charlie: “Then she’ll have fun reading FIFTY of these in a ROW.”
Emily: "I don't think she'll actually have fun with that..."
Charlie: "GOOD."
Charlie: “…....wait. Her name is spelled L-U-T-E?”
Vaggie: “Yeah? How’d you think she spelled it?”
Charlie: “I thought it was loot. Like, pirate’s loot, loot boxes, stolen loot, people looting during a blackout…”
Vaggie: "Nice idea."
Charlie: "Thanks!"
Vaggie: "Waaay too imaginative for her and Adam though. It's just Lute."
Emily: “Oh, so it isn't short for Lutecia??”
Vaggie: “No. But PLEASE tell me you’ve called her that.”
Emily: “A few times… no wonder she glared at me…”
Vaggie: “You’re the most beautiful angel I’ve ever seen.”
Emily: “Y-you’re welcome!”
Charlie: “You're both gorgeous. Try looking in a mirror sometime, Vaggie. Anyway- I guess it being a stringed instrument makes more sense? Adam did have that whole guitar playing thing going on.”
Vaggie: "Huh?"
Emily: “Aw, theme naming~”
Vaggie: "What?"
Charlie: "I guess it's kinda cute. I guess even mean people can be cute..."
Vaggie: “What the actual hell are you talking about sweetie?”
Charlie: “Lute! Like the ye oldie guitar thing!”
Vaggie: “It’s lute. As in, lieutenant?”
Charlie: “….”
Emily: “…”
Charlie: (horrified) “No…”
Emily: “E-even Adam wouldn’t be that lazy-”
Vaggie: “You’re talking about the guy who outsourced bothering his ex.”
Charlie: “But-”
Vaggie: “And then outsourced dealing with the people he’d outsourced the work to.”
Emily: “Oh heavens he would.”
Vaggie: “The only thing Adam spent energy on was Adam, the only things Lute cares about is Adam and murder- that’s why I figured I could go waltzing back up there with you, babe.”
Charlie: “You really didn’t think they’d recognize you!? But you- you literally just grew out your HAIR!”
Vaggie: “I wasn’t in uniform or covered in blood. And those were the only times Adam or Lute ever paid attention to any of us before, so…”
Charlie: “They- rgh. RrrrrrrRRGHHH.”
Emily: “I think I need to write a few letters too, now.”
Vaggie: “I think we need to get the letters away from Charlie before she sets them all on fire-”
-FWOOM FLAMES-
Emily: “Fire extinguisher?”
Vaggie: “Under the desk.”

Whenever I see people say things like "Pinkie Pie should've been a pegasus" or "Fluttershy fits earth pony more" I get a little frustrated because TO ME the mane six have always been a really good example of "societal expectations" VS "societal deviance" of the three pony species within equestria.
Earth ponies are almost always expected to be providers. Like the Apple family for example or the Cake family OR even the "flower trio". They provide necessities, often food or they often provide hard labour (note how "background" jobs like construction and taxi pulling are most often done by earth ponies too). Applejack is obviously a perfect example of this! She's the head of her family, she's extremely hard working, shes incredibly physically strong, she's known and relied on by most of Ponyvill. Applejack very much lives up to the expectations that pony society has of earth ponies.
Pinkie Pie on the other hand is not one bit concerned with hard work. Her whole thing is having fun and throwing parties. In a way she is also providing something very important and necessary, socialisation and relaxation, however these are generally not deemed as valuable as strenuous labour and food production. Pinkie Pie is always written off as "childish" or not taking things seriously enough. She isn't deemed as very reliable a lot of the time and has to work very hard to prove herself, more so than someone like Applejack.
Ponyvill was founded by earth pony farmers, and is densely populated by earth ponies. Earth ponies are expected to work hard and grow food and provide for everyone, their roles are incredibly necessary and their work is highly appreciated. However, without someone like Pinkie Pie who deviates from those expectations, Ponyvill would be a miserable place (as seen in the episode Magical Mystery Cure). She may not be a farmer or a construction worker but her divergence from earth pony "standards" is what keeps everything in balance.
The same can be said for Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy too. Rainbow Dash is an exceptional athlete, she flies like no other pony and she almost always has her wits about her. At the end of the day, Rainbow Dash is truly a performer at heart, she wants to be in the Wonderbolts and show off her skills to all of Equestria. Pegasi are expected to be fast, agile, eager, always cool, proud and quick witted just like the Wonderbolts, and just like Rainbow Dash. She is a peak performance pegasus.
Fluttershy is Rainbows exact opposite. She doesn't care for speed, adventure or displays of athleticism, she truly doesn't even care for flying. She is, in both a literal and metaphorical way, very "down to earth", however her role is still very important and her being a pegasus is still very integral to who she is. If it weren't for her experiences of being ostracised for being different she would never have the empathy and dedication to her animals the way she does (and on more practical note, being able to fly does aid her in her work a lot the time). Fluttershy slows down, she's quiet and she gentle which something that other pegasi (and earth ponies honestly) struggle with. It was alway right for Fluttershy to be a pegasus who could soar the skies, because if she never fell down to earth she would have never found her true calling. Without ponies like her, many important things, creatures and events would go unnoticed and unchecked.
Rarity and Twilight Sparkle is kind of a funny one because I think a lot of people may expect Twilight to be the prime example of unicorns, but that's not really true at all. Twilight, despite being our mane character, is actually the deviant one here.
This is illustrated for us almost immediately in the first episode, where she's invited to a party by three other unicorns but ditches it to go study instead. Magic is merely a tool for most unicorns, but for ponies like Twilight or Starlight, it is their whole existence, it's what they were quite literally born to do. Twilight does not value social status at all, she doesn't have time to and growing up so stuck in her studies I'm not even sure she aware that it's such a big deal to others, especially within Canterlot. It's also worth noting that to Twilight, Princess Celestia was always her teacher and Princess Cadence was her babysitter so their status as royals never really mattered to her and she's able to see them more are regular ponies for that reason also.
Most Unicorns are socialites, they value "social currency" and monetary gain more than they value magic. They don't care that the Princesses are very powerful magically, they care more about their political powers and their social status as royals. We see this clearly in the season 2 episode "Sweet and Elite" where Rarity gets swept up on the high society life of Canterlot, when she mentions being from Ponyvill to two random snobby unicorns they look down on her, yet once it's revealed that she's staying at the castle for her visit, things change, mostly notably: her status. Rarity is a prime example of a unicorn, she's stylish, she's ambitious, she's concerned with image, she's social, she has very fine tastes and she's a businesswoman.
As the series progresses we she both Twilight and Rarity gain some fame. Twilight is mostly inconvenienced and troubled by this whereas Rarity, like most unicorns would, relishes in any sort of limelight. Unicorns are expected to be professional, they're most often more modern or "ahead of the curve" than other ponies and tend they to be the primary business owners of Equestria. However without ponies like Twilight, magic would become just an afterthought. Without powerful wizards like Starswirl, dedicated students like Subburt or magic obsessed freaks (affectionate) like Twilight Sparkle, pony society would crumble.
Applejack, Rainbow Dash and Rarity are prime examples of what is expected of earth ponies, pegasi and unicorns, respectively, in Equestrian society. However without ponies like Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy and Twilight Sparkle there would be no balance and no progression. In fact in the episode "Hearts Warming Eve" we literally get canon lore telling us that if it wasn't for three ponies who deviated from the rules and expectations of their respective tribes, that Equestria wouldn't even exist today.
I think the mane six are a great small scale example of how pony society functions and I really appreciate this aspect of the writing <3

I honestly think that Scott should stayed with Emma because they were an amazing couple, and Jean should be with anyone except Logan. In fact, let her enjoy an nice long period of singledom. To me, Scott and Jean have always felt like teenage sweethearts who were pressured into getting married because everyone expected them to. Not to say they don't love and care about each other, only that become so bound to each other at such a young age really wasn't good for either of them in the long run.

I just wanted to throw this out there.
I remember reading the Fall Of Reach and feeling sad that John, deserving as he was, lost "Ring The Bell" and his teammates initially hated him for it.
In Halo: Reloaded, Reloaded!John being such a shithead as a little kid actually kicked him down to the bottom of the popularity poll and made him the most unliked kid in the program.
Noooo, poor Reloaded!John 🥲
Yeah, I get where his teammates came from, I would have hit him if I lost out on a brownie sundae [or was it just a brownie?].

Warning for a/b/o
Idk the specifics yet but, Alys Rivers being adopted by Rhaenyra since she was a Strong Beta bastard. Alys grew up with Jace (Alpha) and Lucerys (Omega)
Of course, in true fashion this is Lucemond because this ship has me in a chokehold so, Alys knows lil Luke has a crush on Aemond (Alpha).
Maybe here, Alys and Aemond has a close friendship so she feels protective over Aemond and also has feelings for him. So she goes after Aemond first despite her being a Beta.
Aemond does choose Alys for the time being simply because his mother urges him to so Lucerys who is 15 leaves to learn more about Driftmark and goes over seas. (And to deal with his heartbreak alone)
Now 3 years later, Lucerys is back, grown, stronger than before and still as beautiful as the day he left maybe even more so, and now at the age of 18. Which means he needs to marry and has plenty of suitors who are asking for his hand.
At Lucerys welcome home feast, Aemond pulls Luke into a dance to get away from the family and they start speaking in High Valyrian with Aemond starting the conversation himself.
Aemond tells Lucerys to choose him despite the fact that Alys is with him (they are not mated) and that if Lucerys is to ask for him in public, Aemond would accept.
Lucerys only glares, thinking it was all a heat for everyone knows if an Omega declares for an Alpha in public, then was rejected, that Omega would forever be shamed.
No Alpha would want the Omega that was rejected for there must be something wrong with the Omega.
Luke couldn't care less about the fact that if he were to do this, Alys would be shamed. He didn't hold any love for her, and clearly Aemond didn't either.
Within a few weeks and lots of convincing on Aemond's part, Lucerys declares to have Aemond as his mate and the alpha accepts publicly.
Alys is furious, the family shocked as they never expected this to happen and Lord Corlys only raises a brow and doesn't kick up a fuss.
He saw how upset the young omega was when they first departed, he only wants to see Lucerys happy.

So I just finished Ace Attorney Trials and Tribulations and I was curious about what happened to Godot because as a murder he didn’t get a “where are they now” bit and all I found was a big
“Ehhh??”
So I wanted to share my interpretation of events.
To be honest, I see a lot of people say that Gotdot died, be it from execution or from medical complications, and his not being included in any future games, to my knowledge, isn’t helping his case in that regard, but I don’t completely agree. While I think Godot is dead, Diego is still alive, if you’ll let me get pseudo-poetic for a second.
I find his juxtaposition with Dahlia interesting. Their motives are completely opposite, and yet they’re so similar.
Their obsession with the past and refusal to accept what’s done fuel their need for vengeance and hatred, specifically towards Phoenix, who is stated to be trusting and naïve, but someone who accepts things and moves on with life.
While Dahlia may be a literal ghost, Godot is as much of a ghost as her, a person who by all means should be dead but still walks the earth as an echo of the past. The ideas and goals mentioned above keep him trapped on Earth, so to speak. Those are things he notably failed at because of his refusal to move on.
Unlike Dahlia, though, Godot does accept his defeat, his death, because in the end, the most fitting end for the character of Godot is death, and with Godot’s death, Diego can finally move on with his life, after serving a jail sentence, of course.
I’ve not played any games past the first trilogy, and like I said, my opinions are based almost completely on one play through, so maybe I’m not reading subtext, but I think that a fitting end to a foil of Dahlia would be acceptance, and so that’s what I think is the best end for the character.
