I love how over time kid xelqua has become less just baby grian and more grian's kid who he found in the woods/somehow created and now the kid represents all of grian's childhood trauma and Catholic guilt and grian is just trying to break the cycle bc there's this magic fucking baby who is the best thing in the world

JKAGJKD yes Exactly, see evo Grian has a lot of family issues, from being an orphan, to the Watchers, he has ISSUES, so raising a version of himself is..... definitely odd, but weirdly healing.. He sees how he was as a kid, he wasn't that bad, he was just a kid ! He didn't deserve to be abandoned or anything. He sees all of his ache in Xelqua, he's very much breaking the cycle.

My poor friend (the one I went to the movies with the other day) apparently got into a car accident the day after and just got released from the hospital (I thought she was just taking awhile to get to my texts because she usually does that) and she says she’s fine but her mom passed away and holy shit???

I know tragedies are sudden, but still, I saw her mom that day we went to the movies, she looked so happy and healthy, I can’t even imagine what my friend is going through rn and everything I’m saying to comfort her feels so…inadequate. just. what the fuck.

had a dream my cat wasn't dead and he was just hiding in this little space between the wall and a garden pot. i held him in my arms and i knew in the dream that i had to say goodbye to him and that he was ready to go. so i held him one last time. buried my face in his soft tummy again. and i told him how much i loved him. how he was my best friend for 20 whole years and how i wished he could be there longer but that i understood he had to go and i was grateful to have grown up with him. and i didnt cry in my dream. it still hurt, but it was peaceful. it was time and i finally got to say goodbye and know it was coming. i miss him. he was the silliest sweetest little guy. i love him so so much and i always will :)

Just found out I've lost another childhood friend to the war, the younger brother of my classmate. I'm at a loss... I don't know if my parents know too, they were really really close with his parents. I'm afraid to tell them. I'm afraid of them telling me. I have no one on the outside to ask how to handle this... Everyone's even closer to the pain than me. I don't want to trauma dump on internet friends out of the blue. I just don't know what to do.
