seteth told him to only file an incident report for hubert if he STOPS sending death threats. he sends one each week to all the faculty in an exquisite, wax-sealed envelope and the rest usually happen during brawling tutoring.

Rewatching Risk and thinking about how genuinely freaked out Félix gets when he sees Emilie in the basement. That’s not just his aunt but someone who looks exactly like his mom. He bolts the second he sees her and it honestly looks like he’s going to make a run for it out of the house before Nathalie and Gabriel find him. You can see him floundering a bit to act like Adrien again before he regains his composure. I just. AAA. I love this episode. It’s the definition of ‘Fucked around and found out’. Félix was prepared for a lot but NOT finding the basement.

One of the most hurtful parts of acosf was Feyre’s reaction to the hike. At one point she’s laughing because Rhys and Cassian are “secretly” delighted to know that Nesta is gonna hate doing it.
But did she know that her sister wanted to die? Did she know the pain her sister carried for so long? Did she know how quickly things spiraled on that hike? And if Nesta had succeeded, would she laugh at her death (I’m being dramatic, sue me)
Anyway time to reread The Hike by @kale-theteaqueen for the 5th time. This is my therapy for reading such a disastrous book 😌

Something I’ve been thinking about lately is that small moment in “Air Turtle” where immediately after the Daves lose yet another game, Leo says how sorry he is and how he’s doing his best as the mascot. This moment is so short but it’s honestly jam-packed with a whole heap of characterization.
His need to apologize for things clearly not his fault - especially when it feels like he messes up the job he was given despite doing the best he can (the phrase “it’s not about you” takes a new meaning when this is one of the lessons to be learned from that - that he is not always solely responsible for things going wrong), his need to save face and make a connection with an older adult man in his life (something he consistently does throughout the series - he’s got a few daddy issues, always collecting potential father figures, it’s no wonder he jumps at the bit to keep rapport), and the way he sounds and looks and the words he chooses really pushes how he is just a kid (“Mr. the Dunk, I’m so sorry”).
Like I know it’s a one off moment that doesn’t truly mean much, but when put against the rest of the series it works really well with the rest of Leo’s established character and helps in solidifying later concepts as well.

when u have some developed avoidant tendencies and try to keep your distance from people to avoid the pain of the inevitable separation that you have grown so used to time and time again in ur life and you attempt to make your escape before any deeper talk of the future can occur but you also accidentally bonded like cats to the two guys you spent the majority of your high school time with and now you all have Bestie Status with each other and they are Not Going To Let You Escape So Easily because oops there are actual true and deep connections here no matter how hard you might try to deny it and you are in fact a character in a story about love and companionship and overcoming past hang ups and youve made meaningful connections with those around you and this time it's different because sometimes people do love you deeply and beyond the surface you project and actually you are in fact held together by the ties that bind or whatever.
hashtag relatable!!!!!

some of you when seeing a beautiful vulnerable true years-long relationship built on absolute devotion, trust, and sacrifice: idk it just seems like eddie asks too much of poor 32 year old minor buck buckley… like have any of you considered that the asking is MUTUAL and also an EXPRESSION OF LOVE? and that buck likes it so so much and would blow up the world if it was taken away from him????

ill-fitting
[ID: Art of Ryuunosuke Naruhodou’s attorney armband as depicted in the Great Ace Attorney. It’s on his arm, and Ryuunosuke (mostly off-screen) is tugging at it to show that there’s some leftover space — the armband is slightly too large for him. Susato Mikotoba (also mostly off-screen) reaches to touch the sunflower pattern on the armband. End ID]

As a survivor of abuse I relate to Machete so much. I've always felt unclean for no reason except being told I was unclean, and it made me feel worthless or revolting by default. Like, no matter what I did I would be filthy and unpleasant to be around.
Seeing that he can be loved, makes me feel like maybe I could be loved too.
