I have a million questions about this season but these four plot lines in particular deserved to be resolved

that scene with natalie and milchick actually rearranged my brain. milchick sees the blackwashing done to the kier paintings. his first instinct is to be grateful. after all, they're doing this for him. the board reminds him they also did this for natalie. they care so much about poc. then he locks in. they're manipulating him, like he's an innie. milchick glares at natalie. the board concludes the call and natalie doesn't smile as much. she tries to smile again but it doesn't reach her eyes. milchick puts the paintings away.

bc i live in a fairly gay city, i probably can't directly relate to the outspoken homophobia in those shows, so that may be why it isn't a major issue for me. plus, being british i feel like heartstopper does fairly represent the queer teen brit experience even if it's pretty watered down. none of my entirely queer friend group even wanted to watch heartstopper, because of the fact it is pure fucking cheese. but it's the same kind of cheese that i feel i get whenever stede and ed or crowley or aziraphale interact. despite the vast differences in dynamics and personalities etc etc.

i don't feel like the representation part of the romance was what drew me to it, even though that might be the case for others. it's just disgustingly sweet romance, but idk if i would've cared so much if i hadn't rapidly consumed the graphic novels and webtoon before. i wonder how you would feel about shows like young royals (also a romance with some antimonarchy to go with it) and heartbreak high (which is more teen drama) that lots of people also just watched for the representation.

also where would you place those two (and wwdits) on the ofmd and good omens vs heartstopper scale.
