I wasn't going to post this at first, because honestly it normally wouldn't make the cut for Instagram. But today's #freeupmyinsta prompt is "today" and you know what? This photo is from today! #freeupmyinsta - Friday thoughts // it’s really good to stop for a minute sometimes and just allow your mind to wander. It’s been such a hectic time that I haven’t had a lot of opportunity for reflection lately. But I gave myself the chance and my mind wandered back here, to the Colosseum and it’s amazing architecture. I spent a lot of time gazing up at its beauty (in between the crowds) and I’m so glad that we managed to visit it during our time in Rome. I’ve a busy weekend ahead and the following weeks are set to be jam packed too. But that’s fine by me because in between the busy I’ll look up and appreciate the awe inspiring beauty, just like I did here.

I M A G E 📸 When this was shot, I think it is safe to say that I was pretty darn unhappy with my body ... but since then I’ve started to notice some changes • One change I’m particularly pleased with is that suddenly my hips and thighs are starting to look leaner, stronger and a lil less wobbly • I’ve made small tweaks to my lifestyle and regime lately and it’s starting to pay off - I’m now running twice a week again, I’ve been concentrating on working my gluteus in the gym and I’ve cut out the refined, processed junk and started to fuel up on more wholesome foods • Change takes time, be patient. . I’m one day late but I need to participate in the #freeupmyinsta challenge for this week! Tuesday’s prompt is “inspiration” which is strange because on Sunday when I was planning my week I wrote down that I NEEDED to create some type of mood or inspiration board.
