Dear lord, never take this whole grain mustard from me. It adds so much to anything. Really, it's mustard in general. She's that girl or the condiment game. If you don't like mustard, grow up.

Happy Art Monday Tuesday, everyone !

I made an exception to my usual Monday post because I was celebrating Christmas with my husband and his family. Here is the post I had originally planned to share.

"Triumph Tango."

About four months ago, I received a unique request that presented me with a delightful challenge. I found a message in my inbox asking if I accepted drawing requests or commissions. Although it was my first time, I decided to take a leap of faith and accept.

The request involved two women dancing in front of an iconic French monument. It was incredibly specific, detailing the outfits, facial expressions, and colors.

If you're familiar with my work, you may recognize my cherished OC, Erel'Vrae, adorned in the vibrant colors of my homeland's flag, symbolizing the spirit of France in this artistic tango. The other figure is a mesmerizing belly dancer named Hanard.

This project was an exciting journey, albeit not without its hurdles, particularly when it came to the background. I wanted the backdrop to resonate with my homeland, France. I deliberated over a few iconic landmarks, considering the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre's Pyramid, and the Arc de Triomphe. Ultimately, the Arc de Triomphe won, seamlessly complementing the characters' poses and the overall composition.

However, unraveling the intricate details of the Arc de Triomphe caught me off guard; I never realized how many details this monument holds.

Typically, I prefer simpler backgrounds to maintain focus on the primary subjects—in this case, the two dancers. Simplifying such a complex structure was a unique challenge, but I'm thrilled with the result.

Four months later, I'm still pleased I accepted this request, as it provided me with my first experience of working for a customer. It has given me insights into what to expect for future commissions.

As a bonus, click on the picture to enlarge it and take a closer look at the statues on the side! From up close, they reveal their silly faces, especially the angel. It never fails to make me laugh XD.

Donnie would absolutely blow a fuse if someone ruined their books with how sacred he was to that mint condition comic, and I’m sure Mikey thinks cooking is an art. Cross either of them and it’s hell to pay!

I read a lot of book series that had been handed down to me by my siblings, but you could really tell whose they were before based on their condition. One sibling left foodstains and dog ears, another left spine breaks and ripped paperbacks, and the final would threaten my life if I so much as dented a page. Such is life with shared things

I guess you could say those books were well loved, for better or for worse lol

Why Maharlika:

Maharlika's first drafts were him being way more simple taking a lot of atribite's from Venti (Genshin, look at my page you will mostly see genshin content) but as i started to develop their personalty of a Loyal friend too loyal.
