Right, so originally I wasn't gonna abroach that topic with a 13½ ft pole, because sensitive subject, but gonna have to roll up my sleeves and acknowledge it was very much indeed a topic that Greygold had to consider and formulate their own conclusions on. Sure even though Greygold didn't find out the be-hella-mean way, there were concerned friends with mindful observations that had Greygold confronting the possibility that the Emperor and Stelmane's secret underground business practices might've had some uh...Problems!

The conversation went a lil everywhere BUT in short-

Greygold's philosophy is to hope for the best, but always prepare for the worst.

Case in point: Greyg's team. Maybe not everyone did shitty things in their past, but they certainly had ample opportunity to do shitty things on this journey that Greygold had to veer them away from. As Greygold sees it, if their teammates can change for the better, hopefully the Emperor can and will too. Everybody is capable of being awful, but also being awesome kind, so gotta give the squid a chance.

ACTUALLY. it is really fun to me that the hero of the minish can canonically see ghosts without needing an item or anything because it opens up the avenue of him having a very real chance of being able to meet the hero of men. like he's poking around the royal valley after the events of the minish cap and the hero of men just materializes behind him like "lmao who the fuck is this kid" and the hero of the minish jumps like twenty feet in the air and instantly tries to stab him with the four sword. which leads to a whole thing about "WHAT DID YOU DO TO MY SWORD" "IT'S NOT YOUR SWORD ANYMORE STUPID YOU'RE DEAD!!!!!!!"

Consider: Norman, Emma, and Ray going thrifting around their new hometown and learning a lot about the local people and even taking busted up VCRs or other old models of things. Seems like an excellent way to reclaim Ray's memories of taking apart old tech for the little machine he made to disrupt the trackers.

Oh my goddd they'd love anything that survived WWIII that provided more insight into the little mundane things of daily living they might have read about in books. Imagine them finding a betamax or CD player, or a built-to-last, old school refrigerator or sewing machine; the latter they end up gifting to Gilda, Anna, Gillian, or Vincent. Any older video game systems, especially ones with working digital libraries or those 250-in-one collections, would be a hit with the kids.

Lowkey obsessed with the scenario of the kids having a Mario Kart tournament that Norman and Ray aren't even a part of originally, but somehow they get roped into joining, and after like one or two races they're aceing it and eventually it's just like, deadass silent except for the rapid button mashing these two are doing because they don't shit talk each other but are just being absolutely vicious to each other on the screen, calculating more and more difficult angles to hit each other with green shells, drifting in front of each other just to throw back banana peels on the most precarious of turns with no edges, etc. Winds up the same way as their chess matches do:

It had been very clear that Nicole had successfully startled The Nameless, her slender fingers ensuring a tighter grasp of her phone. She could get a new jacket anywhere -- but living without her phone was simply impossible! Just the thought of it alone was enough to give the pink haired woman a dangerous migraine -- yet, the presentation of such an adorable charm had taken her attention away from the initial greeting. After all, the best way to steal her heart was through all things cute!

With eager hands, she catches the keychain and observes it gleefully. A white and ginger rabbit greedily snatching a carrot from the Earth, the detailing of such sculpting was of higher quality than what she thought it was going to be. Part of her wondered why things like this seemed to happen to her whenever Dan Heng and the Trailblazer were off doing their own thing. Would they believe her if she proclaimed with an unwavering confidence that she had been approached, thus marking a brand new friendship?

In all honesty, Nicole was quite cute herself, even if her attire would not be something March would initially declare cute. Just because she was wearing it, it could be!

The imagery could be added with Steve tripping and stumbling to the ground before ninja-ing(tipsy) onto the couch desting his head on Danny’s lap. Trying to get comfy and hug Danny while in this position. Telling him about his night, momentarily forgetting his goal before he’s reminded again and trying his best to get a kiss.
