💥FOR #fullbodyintegration & #musclecoordination with #breath 💥This🐎horseback..1 maybe less used, IS SO good for teaching the above❗️To go from sitting➡️to lifted up hovering, without the feet pressing down to lift us is really a different 💡concept for the body I think. 👆🏼But this very exercise teaches us the 👊🏼POWER OF OUR CORE, the power of the trunk to move the members❗️THIS IS KEY FOR EVERYONE TO LEARN, whether an athlete or not!! We’ll be covering this A LOT May 17-19 @remedypb in my Pilates for athletes workshops🎾(link in profile)...🔺That very squeeze of the inner thighs & simultaneous drawing up & in of the PF, thereby activating the TvA, lifts the hips to that hover, carrying us in space💫 🤸‍♀️~~~~~☀️🌴~~~~💪🏼~~~~🤸‍♀️~~~~~☀️🌴 🔺Here’s how I like to do this one: 1️⃣Grow tall from sit bones, feet flex, legs externally rotated 2️⃣Scooping the air out as you reach the arms forward, tip the tail under, internally rotate the legs, point the toes, & you are 🆙👏🏼👏🏼 🔺That sounds like a lot 😁but you want to do all that movement together & I find that the rotation of the legs helps to find the lift. 👉🏼Otherwise if you just squeeze as hard as you can against the box, it won’t make it any easier to lift & you’ll just get bruises 👎🏼🙃 Then there’s the different arm variations but I’m just talking about the sitting to hovering 😉get that down first!💥... 🔵If you have forgotten this one, try bringing it back into your own personal practice 🙂 ⚫️If you do it regularly, good for you💪🏼👏🏼 ⚪️If you’ve never tried it before, you can also start on an arc as that is more forgiving than the box 😉👍🏼 🤸‍♀️~~~~~☀️🌴~~~~💪🏼~~~~🤸‍♀️~~~~~☀️🌴 . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
