Hi Bones!

I'm desperately trying to figure out what terms my OC's would use for their family members so I'd appreciate it if you could help and tell me what terms my OC would use for her family! :)

Overview:

Cloversplash was born to a WindClan mother Rabbitgaze and a ThunderClan father Russetflame.

She was raised in WindClan by Rabbitgaze though Rabbitgaze ignored Cloversplash- considering her a "mistake"- focusing on becoming Deputy.

Cloversplash rarely saw her father- though they were friendly at Gatherings.

Cloversplash has an older brother called Harecloud- who was 7 moons when she was born- who is very grumpy to every cat except his mate Gorsepuddle (a tom who is known for his NEVERENDING cheerfulness!)- it's sorta a Grumpy X Sunshine dynamic with Harecloud and Gorsepuddle tbh! (You can guess who's the Grumpy one..)

And she also has three younger half-siblings who are triplets (two she-cats called Heatherkit and Furzekit and a tom called Barkkit) who are 12 moons younger than her.

Cloversplash is 22 moons and a newly made Warrior- her assessment was held back by a few moons because She Went Fox Hunting! (Harecloud berated her about it for WEEKS-

Cloversplash also has an Aunt called Hillberry who was Rabbitgaze's sister and often took care of Cloversplash when she was a kit (she played with her, told her stories etc)- because Rabbitgaze ignored her.

Oh well right away both parents are absolutely contemptuous to her-- technically Rabbitgaze is a Mi, but I don't think Clover would get faulted for eventually changing her language to not give her a familial term at all. Mwaow, "biological parent."

Russetflame is definitely an Honor Sire, though. That kind of distance wouldn't earn a "Ba" titling.

Hillberry could easily gain the title of Mi, though that would be a bit nonstandard as she is her aunt. It's saying directly, "Rabbit is NOT my primary parent, Hillberry was." There's a social aspect to this that Clover would need to consider; especially if she's ambitious in any way.

She could probably take a bite out of Rabbitgaze's reputation by hitting her with the insult Wairre, animal-sire, or even just the neutral Mwaow. It is expected that a kit will have a Mi, and if there was a Ba, they are expected to become a Mi. For a kitten to not have a Mi or to be failed by them is a VERY bad thing.

But anyway! The sibs are easy. Harecloud's her Kafrrif, a sibling of an older litter, and her half-sibs are Eefrri, siblings of a younger litter. Clanmew doesn't distinguish half-sanguinity.

Ceremonies

Swarmpaw has decided that hunting and fighting is not the way they want to provide for their Clan. Instead, they have chosen to serve their Clan by healing and communing with StarClan. Tumblekick proudly becomes their mentor.

Hollypaw always wanted to help their Clanmates but doesn't want to heal or fight: they choose to become a mediator apprentice, hoping that Faithwillow can teach them how to resolve the Clan's issues.

Ryepaw has reached the age of six moons and has been made an apprentice, with Borageburn as their mentor.

Swarmpaw misstepped and slipped from a rock, but landed on their feet nimbly, their Clanmates commenting on the show of dexterity. Hollypaw is caught breaking the Warrior Code.

Health

Tadpolemoor announced they are expecting kits. They aren't keen on being confined to the nursery just yet. Valleyfalcon's joint pain is feeling better. Twisted is better than gone, is what Fuzzscratch tells themself. Broken legs can be deadly and Fuzzscratch is lucky to still be alive.

Treewatcher fell from a cliff and somehow survived, though not without breaking their leg. Jayhowl itches uncomfortably, wishing their wound would close up and heal already. Instead it seems to be getting worse. Avalanchebeetle's ear is no longer torn Ambertrot got their paw stuck in a Twoleg trap, and while they eventually escaped, their leg is heavily injured. Shortjump picks themself up and begins the day anew. Swarmpaw was climbing a tree and got a splinter from one of the branches. The FlightClan medicine cat asks for spare burdock and we deicde to aid our allies and share the herbs.

Patrols

Finchstar sees two kits from LionClan playing close to the border. (proceed) As Finchstar goes to step over the border with Fuzzscratch to retrieve the kits and bring them to their Clan, they stop as they hear a LionClan patrol shouting for the kits. inchstar is relieved to know they will be safe with their own Clan and resume their patrol. The patrol doesn't realize that the LionClan cats saw them cross the border and now look upon their departing backs with fury.

Gingerstar cheers Comfreykit on as they play in puddles for the first time.

Snipfade (father) chides Comfreykit unfairly, but brother Whistlekit defends her.

Moon 4:

Comfreykit is worried about becoming an apprentice, and is told by her father and mother, Marigoldclash, that it won't be so bad.

Comfreykit sneaks into the warriors' den, but is chased out by Greenchasm.

It is revealed that Whistlekit only likes to play with Comfreykit because he's shy, but feels brave with his sister.

Comfreypaw becomes apprenticed to Gingerstar!

Moon 7:

Gingerstar teaches Comfreypaw how to swim, and is proud of them.

Gingerstar wants to speak to Snipfade about something.

Marigoldclash and Snipfade had another litter: Shingingkit, Streakkit, Boragekit, Ripplekit, Hillkit

Marigoldclash feels like she's not enough for anyone.

During a two-warrior patrol, Comfreyflight and Whistledart are attacked by a dog. Whistledart risks his life, and is killed.

Comfreyflight begs StarClan to give her brother back.

Comfreyflight becomes the mentor to Flitpaw.

Streakfern and Comfreyflight chase a dog off.

yesterday i started a new clangen clan n god there was a lot of romance going on. n starting between kits. furzekit started liking quietkit and they were besties while they were apprentices, but quietpaw didn't get romantic feelings for furzepaw until they were warriors. also furzetail became mates with spottail (the medic) for a bit but i broke them up cuz i wanted quietfurze to happen, if polyamory was a thing i'd totally make them a polycule. then they finally got together and ended up having SIX KITS. ALL IN ONE LITTER.

there was also another pair of kits, grousekit and shiningkit, who fell in love but they didn't become mates on their own, can apprentices not become mates with each other anymore- i made them mates when they were warriors tho.

Robinwing and Fuzzypelt

Robinwing and Fuzzypelt started as the perfect love story, they had crushed on each other as apprentices and even as kits and when they trained Leopardpaw and Patchpaw respectively together is when they finally confessed to each other at the same time and became mates.

A few moons later, after their apprentices were made warriors, they decided to have kits of their own. The pregnancy went fine, but something went wrong during the kitting and the three kittens were born weak and struggling to stay alive; one of them being stillborn. Only a couple of days pass before the other two kits die as well.

With both Fuzzypelt and or her former apprentice, Leopardfoot, recently both having struggling kittings with 5 casualties and their leader abandoning his clan to become a kittypet, ThunderClan started to feel uncomfortable and restless that there was something wrong and maybe StarClan was punishing them, cursing them, for their leader becoming a traitor. Until a couple of days later when Goosefeather comes back from gathering herbs along the ShadowClan border with, instead of herbs, two newborn kits. Goosefeather says he found them under catnip and couldn’t find a scent of their mother anywhere around, claiming that the kits were a sign from StarClan that they were not angry with ThunderClan and that their clan would flourish and thrive. Goosefeather asks Robinwing if she would use the milk she still had from her lost litter to feed the two she-kits and Robinwing immediately agreed and she and Fuzzypelt raised their adopted daughters as their own (with Goosefeather also being there a lot, for some reason, but everyone just assumes it’s because he found them and were a sign from StarClan)

Unfortunately, less than a moon later, Snowfur is killed by a monster, leaving her son, Whitekit. Both Robinwing and Leopardfoot agree to share nursing him, especially since he would be weaned soon anyway. Whitekit and Tigerkit are much closer in age though and naturally seem to bond to each other.

Frostkit and Brindlekit grow up well and healthily, becoming Frostfur and Brindleface and Robinwing and Fuzzypelt are so proud of them and adore them as their own kits. A few seasons pass before they decide to having kits again. This time the kitting is a complete success with 4 healthy kits, Longkit, Furzekit, Beekit, and Barkkit. Eventually they get apprenticed to Redtail, Whitestorm, Willowpelt, and Frostfur, respectively, but unfortunately 3 of their lives are cut short from the wave of famine and sickness that hits ThunderClan. Furzepaw dies from getting hit by a car while blindly trying to catch prey to feed his clan. Barkpaw dies of the sickness that took so many of ThunderClan’s cats. And Beepaw died of starvation because she ate as little as possible to try to keep her clanmates from starving. Longpaw was the only littermate to survive and be named a warrior, Longtail. (His mentor also went from Redtail to Darkstripe three moons into his training because Redtail became pregnant during his training.)

Robinwing and Fuzzypelt were devastated from the death of three of their kits, especially with their deaths being being back to back so close to one another in just a few moons. Their grief along with the famine and sickness in their clan took a terrible toll on them. But Robinwing was already pregnant with more kits. She gave birth to another litter of four, but the one kit, Chestnutkit, died only a couple days later after being born from being too weak. Dustkit and Cherrykit seemed to be the only two kits that were strong enough to survive, but by some miracle, Ravenkit survived, even with Robinwing not having much milk. But soon after their kits were born, even with the sickness finally letting go of its grip on ThunderClan and the famine seeming to finally be subsiding, Fuzzypelt succumbed to starvation (giving everything he could to his beloved mate and kits). Robinwing was crushed with grief and her health drastically declined. Even with prey coming back, her milk was drying up. Suddenly Cherrykit’s health also declined, she became weaker and weaker until she, too, died of starvation when she was just over a moon old, just a couple of days after her father’s death. Unknown to anyone else besides her, Dustkit, and Ravenkit, the young she-kit had been giving up much of her own share of milk so Ravenkit could have more and survive, so even though Ravenkit was the weakest of the remaining three kits, he was the only one to survive along with Dustkit (to Dustkit’s great anger).

With the death of her beloved mate and her infant daughter, just moons after the death of four of her other kits, as well as the death of several of her friends and loved ones like her former apprentice, Leopardfoot, Robinwing swiftly declined and just two days later she died of, as Spottedleaf described, Heartbreak.

Headcanon no one asked for: Larkpaw of Windclan confides in her mentor Furzepelt about training in the DF and Furzepelt immediately joins their ranks with the excuse of "being able to train Larkpaw during the day AND night". She becomes extremely protective of her apprentice and is noticeably gentler with her during day training, much to the irritation of their clanmates. Furzepelt defends her from DF cats like Thistleclaw and Brokenstar. After she dies, Larkwing makes a vow if she ever has kits, to name one after her mentor

I hated how the Erins randomly killed her off and I really hope if Larkwing dose have babies Furzekit is among them! I love the idea of some dark forest trainees being there because of someone else, either for protection or because they lead them there personally.

Warmghost has gotten greencough Loudhsock's tail was badly injured by falling rocks. Jayhowl survived a vicious eagle attack - with the claw marks to prove it! Avalanchebeetle has been impatient, and Tumblekick has noticed they haven't been the most dilligent with their leg strengthening exercises. It's unfortunately having consequences, as their healing broken bone has given them a weaker leg. Additionally, they caught a cat from another Clan tresspassing on their territory and their ear was torn in the ensuing scuffle.
