Hello there- so I recently just got rejected and friendzoned by a crush, and while I’m truthfully happy to stay friends I am slightly bummed so I decided I’ll take this experience and turn it into a write. I hope you enjoy!

He has to take a long break from talking to them… but not for the reason you think

Truthfully he gets over the crush fairly quickly… but this rejection causes his self hatred to spring into his mind

It's a rotation of who's sandwiched between who when cuddling happens. Just because Fuyuhiko has moments when he wants to seem like the tough boyfriend and doesn't always want to be the little spoon.

The most comfortable cuddling position is Peko on one side, her chest to your back and her arms around you, reaching to hold Fuyuhiko's arm as he's the little spoon laying against your chest to hear your heartbeat.

It's either you or Peko that initiates cuddling. Peko starts mostly because he notices Fuyuhiko seeming stressed, but he is too hesitant to bother you both for cuddles. Rarely, if a day was bad or something happened that scared Fuyuhiko, then he'll ask for you two to cuddle. Usually when that happens he's the one sandwiched between you two.

He just wants you. All of his morals go out the window, begging Monokuma to kill him instead, yelling for hours on end at him. Monokuma let's him go on for a while, leaving you in despair.

• He's clinging to your body as you're taken away, trying to run onto the scene as the execution begins. He has to be held back, practically scratching the floor to get away, and to stop you from your inevitable death. The pain seeps through his eyes, sobbing violently as he crumbles onto the floor. Once the execution is over, he tries to run to your body and hold you. He has to be dragged away from the scene.

• If you happen to be a victim, there's a similar fate. As soon as the body discovery announcement rings throughout the school, he's in a full on sprint, praying that it's not you. When he sees your dead body on the floor, the boy's heart and mind shatters. He drops to the floor beside you, cling to your body and sobbing violently. The investigation must go on, however.

• It's hard to keep his mind straight after that. He has to be with someone at all times, preferably someone smart that he can figure out the case. He wants to avenge you, it's just hard to think through the tears. He's trying his best, and he's incredibly helpful during your trial. He's just really focused on his emotions and the pain. He will throw all of his morals away and beat the shit out of the person that killed you. It doesn't matter how many times he's said "no violence" to everyone, he will not go easy on the motherfucker who hurt his precious s/o.

FUYUHIKO KUZURYUU.

• Fuyuhiko grieves harshly. His anxiety paired with his anger issues throw all of this out of proportion, so he's often switching between a harsh state of depression, blaming himself, and yelling at others. The thoughts of you dying force him to rethink everything. Everything that he wants in life has been thrown away.

• If he finds out that you're the blackened, he will do anything in his power to stop it. He will yell Monokuma as long as he can, eventually his yelling deteriorating into hoarse sobs. He tries to get Peko to help, but it doesn't work. Nothing works, and he's just begging for your safety. Please don't go.

• He will run into your execution, not allowing anyone to hold him back. However, Peko races after him and ends up forcing him away. Her main mission is to keep him safe, after all. So he ends up falling to his knees and sobbing, watching your execution. He can't breathe, and ends up just leaning into Peko and breaking down fully. He can't handle this.

• Once it finally registers, he starts yelling. Accusing, chosing violence over any other option. He starts investigating, but it's rushed and he can barely think sometimes. If you leave him alone in a room with your body ... he's going to break down. The anger can only carry him so far. He'll be helpful in the trial, but he's not as good as he could be.

• If you're the victim, it's very similar. Hearing the body discovery announcement, he tries his hardest to keep his mind straight. It surely isn't you. You're perfectly fine, and safe, and ... dead, on the floor. His first thoughts are shaking you. Surely you're not dead. Surely not.

Mahiru Koizumi ; She definitely thinks she’s straight, but listen, what she’s looking for in a relationship could easily be found in a strong, independent girl. I love Obliviou!Kazuichi - I just LOVE it.

Like Fuyuhiko, Gundham, Nekomaru and Nagito try to flirt to varying degrees (Fuyuhiko is being a tsundere but likes to hold his hand, Gundham tries to be more helpful, Nekomaru and Nagito just straight up wink and talk about kissing) and Kaz is just smiling and nodding along with any convo like “yeah dude! it’s great having guy friends who like me!”

Hajime isn’t better lol, but he isn’t as bad. He flirts and makes suggestions but always tacks a deflection after them if he feels like he overstepped - like he‘ll “suggest” that they should cuddle but end it with “because we’re soul bros” at the end so Kaz doesn’t feel pressured.

And the five are just like “why must it be this guy? why is this the one thing he doesn't notice?” They are in too deep; they get pep talks from their respective corners and keep pushing.

It takes an embarrassingly long time for the idiots to get their giant idiot to realize that they’re flirting and all Kaz does is just go: “Oh! You know, I just thought you guys were being weird.”

It is a mere coincidence that this is the day that the weakness of the walls betwixt the mortal and dread realms has weakened, allowing hordes of minor demonic entities to infest certain nexuses of power within the school walls!

Yes, those are demonic entities! The Dark Lord certainly did not, as you claim, ‘release chickens into the staff room’, ‘fill the school therapist’s office with dressed up bunny rabbits’, or ‘Give Mondo Oowada five excessively cute puppies, causing him to refuse to attend class’!

However, as the great and powerful Gundham Tanaka’s dark powers have likely caused this calamity to centre itself within this school, he will assist in the banishment of these demons from the school! That should satisfy you, should it not…

Everyone was expecting them to use their talent to wreak havoc and social confusion through the school, such as by mimicking teachers and telling everyone class was cancelled, or by badmouthing people’s friends while pretending to be them

As it turned out, they actually decided to take it upon themself to reduce the damage caused to the school and its students, by pretending to be various members of the disciplinary committee throughout the day and giving detention to anyone they caught causing trouble.

Unfortunately, this makes him an inadvertent target of many of the more spiteful pranks aimed at them, much to the envy of…

Nagito Komaeda

Thinks it’ll be fantastic to see what wonderful pranks the Ultimates at Hope’s Peak are able to come up with! And he’s more than happy to serve as a victim for those pranks! As he tells everyone multiple times in the run up to the day. This makes most people uninterested in targeting him. Especially when he offers to collude with them to make the pranks even better, because then what’s the point!?

Just as well, because his good luck prevents him from getting hit by any pranks anyway. Either someone else gets hit instead, or the prank spontaneously goes wrong the minute he approaches it.

He does get to see some amazing pranks from Hope’s Peak’s finest, though! It’s just he also spends the day being disappointed that none of them were directed at him. As does…

Akane Owari

Thinks April Fool’s day sounds like a cool idea, but she can’t think of any ways to prank people, and no one ever really tries to prank her, which is a shame.

Still, the little obstacle-course someone set up in the corridor by stringing ropes across the hallway is pretty cool!

And people keep giving her the results of their cooking experiments over the weekend! Who wouldn’t enjoy being given free food? (Even if Mayonnaise is a weird donut filling…)

Wants to join in the fun, but doesn’t have the energy to think up or set up any big, complicated pranks.

She starts by trying to tell everyone that the school is actually a big computer simulation and she’s an AI programmed to interact with them all, but everyone just laughs at how daft an idea for a prank that is, rather than believing her.

Then she tries to give people recommendations for bad videogames, but no one actually starts playing them on the day, and in the end she ends up admitting the truth to them before anyone is actually subjected to the terribleness.

She’ll just have to practise and get better at this, for next year…
