Foolish had the exact same conclusion that Bad did about how to break into the vault, but no one believed it could have been Foolish to figure something like that out? When Bad fessed up, everyone was like oh that makes more sense, it’s less of a mystery, surely Foolish couldn’t figure out such a thing?
It’s like. I love and hate when people underestimate Foolish, it’s a double edged sword. Like no, he’s not some one dimensional airhead who can’t rub two brain cells together. He’s clever and he’s charismatic, and sure he can be giggly and chaotic, and sure he can speak without thinking, but he’s not stupid. On the other hand, it’s so satisfying because this means he gets away with a metric fuck ton of bullshit. He gets so severely underestimated that his true potential or intentions are never guessed at.
Everyone assumes that because he’s silly and impulsive with a tendency to lose focus means he doesn’t have the capacity to be serious, to be intelligent, to be clever. It’s a mistake made time and time again that its almost insulting, definitely frustrating - yet it is so fun to watch, because it means he gets away with it yet again.

sometimes I just get the feeling that men can be... so fucking dumb
Like the kind of dumb that makes women go "how do you remember to blink and breathe"
My friend has been trying for a baby with her partner for two years. It's a hard road, and emotionally difficult.
And so she's finally pregnant and ecstatic. And then, a couple months in - she starts bleeding and cramping at work. She's in tears, she's scared, devastated. Midwife says a minimum of bleeding is fine, but she's still scared. Midwife organises an ultrasound in a few days, but ultimately, what happens, happens. You cannot stop a miscarriage once it's started. She'll probably be fine, but she needs support. She needs her partner to help her through the stress.
And what does he do? He comes home after work, eats dinner, and LEAVES. Because its game night with the boys! You gotta have game night with the boys! It's hard to get them all together, if they don't do it now, they might have to wait a whole SEVEN DAYS to play again!
BRUH. THE WOMAN. YOU WANT TO MARRY. IS BLEEDING. IN PAIN. AND AFRAID. OF LOSING THE BABY. AND YOU LEFT HER. TO GO PLAY. BOARD GAMES.
men are ALWAYS on my case when I talk about abuse like "I would DIE for her. I would take a BULLET for her" OKAY. BUT. WOULD YOU LIKE. PUT OFF YOUR GAMING SESH FOR ONE WEEK. FOR HER
BECAUSE. WHEN PUSH CAME TO SHOVE. YOU DID NOT. YOU LEFT HER. TO PANIC AND CRY ALONE.

while i'm yelling into the abyss. carlos and i have been discussing the limcom stuff and it's really funny [ironic. exhausted. resigned. bitter] that project moon execs didn't expect the fandom to immediately turn on them and rightfully blame leadership in specific. oh wow the fandom of a series of games about the experiences of exploited workers in a cruel inescapable system didn't like your labor violations? oh wow fans of your mobile game with an explicitly textual marxist lead were mad when you violated multiple labor protection laws? whoa... that's crazy... it's almost like the writing and art staff's experiences and creative visions resonated with an audience who feel or have felt similarly exploited, and any abuses of power directed at your staff are going to be taken Personally

Just sitting here thinking about the StakeBros (as they have been dubbed on Reddit) who come out of the woodwork to tell you they killed Astarion whenever they see any mention of him.
Like it’s wild to me that these boys (it’s always boys) will see people discussing a character and feel the absolute overwhelming need to make sure you know they killed the flamboyant elf. I assume they are afraid not killing the flamboyant elf will make them seem gay? Why else are you feeling some type of way about this, my guy?
Anyway given that Astarion fans tend to be women, and not only that, but also people who identify with him as a sexual assault and abuse survivor — there’s so much irony in dudebros seeing that and thinking “This is about me. This is definitely about me and my need to be very straight, these people (mostly women) are definitely interested in how straight I am in comparison to this pixel man.”
Babes, shut up and listen for five seconds and you might learn something shocking. It’s called self-reflection!! Try it!!!! Astarion actually has this whole character arc related to it if you can just cool your jets and not kill the guy whose face is on the cover of the game you bought…
I know this is a bit “local woman learns gamer guys can be tone deaf idiots, more at 11” but it still amazes me. I am lucky enough to live in a small progressive city and play dnd with chill normal adult men, so sometimes I take a peek out of my box and get scared for y’all.

Usually I'm not one to play the misogyny card when a female character gets flamed but the amount of people who genuinely hate malenia but love radahn besides them being intentionally parallels of each other is actually insane.

Uh,if you guys are so fixated on 'Fem mc ends up with the edgy dude instead of the goody two shoes male protagonist' trope, where's all the hype around them exactly?

Or let me guess:You're gonna say they don't count because they aren't enemies to lovers or um Ackstually Hobie's an adult!!!(He's not,his age is up for interpreation as confirmed by the writers)as if y'all don't brag about loving age gaps or Hobie dosen't need to date anyone or you 'don't like their aesthetic'.Yeah,right-Y'all raved about Zuko/Katara and Bakugou/Ochako and Felix/Marinette and fucking Reylo but Gwen and Hobs are too healthy and an actual female fantasy that doubles as transfem and real interracial rep instead of steteotypical and racist bs.You guys are all about classic tropes until a black person is involved and then suddenly it's overdone or even 'gross' PLEASE you look like clowns who didn't go to your makeup lessons

my enjoyment of no more heroes goes down every time i have to interact with diehard travis fans like maybe im just too much of a feminist fuckin killjoy and a lesbian but no i dont find the grown man with lolicon posters on his walls relatable, i find him enjoying in his patheticness at most but i mean i also dont like the fucking hours long compilation you could make of boob shots in these games so maybe its just not for me!
