“Often, Lev had slept on a rag rug beside his daughter’s bed, when she was ill or afraid. And when his wife, Marina, was dying, he’d lain for five nights on an area of linoleum flooring no wider than his outstretched arm, between Marina’s hospital bed and a curtain patterned with pink and purple daisies, and sleep had come and gone in a mystifying kind of way, painting strange pictures in Lev’s brain that had never completely vanished.”
- Rose Tremain, from ‘The Road Home’

English lang tmrw so i wana WOW! the examinor w some sick ass vocab, like, adjectives n shit which are awesome. I'm thinking like, uncommong-have-to-search-this-in-the-dictionary type of complex adjectives. Like rambunctious. And visceral. And enigmatic.

(No Gerald/Daisy|Eva, or Eric/Eva because one of them is grooming and the other is rape.)
If you haven't read AIC, which I suspect is most of my followers, pick based off the description!

gcses started this week (my first exam is tomorrow), and during a computer lesson, in which all of my coursework is done, i searched up 'were Gerald Croft and Eric Birling Gay', and AO3 was the first result...
I am not sure, if I should bemore surprised at "squiffy twink", or at the fact that my school bans reddit, but you can still get on AO3...

Another Poll!
I've missed doing these lol.
Here's a fun question that's been on my mind lately... and it has nothing to do with my own writing.
Yes, I'm aware that there are more plays. These were just the ones I could think of currently.
Perhaps I'll do a part 2...
I love these stories so much. I don't know what I'd pick here as my personal favourite. Maybe Romeo and Juliet? Since that was my introduction to Shakespeare growing up lol. Or Macbeth... because GCSE English vibes lol.
Can't wait to see what you guys think!
