I mean…
Wouldn’t it kinda make sense for White Diamond to give up her form to make Steven in this AU if only because she thought she was helping her planet? This is just a what if scenario… but, what if, when a gem is totally broken beyond repair — like the gem army — their “resources”, their “light” is returned back to the soil? Now, that’s just a theory, because what if that could also explain the strawberry field? A gem’s light can be used to restore “drained” planets because that’s basically what they are. Sentient ecosystems…

I need help getting information about Native American people for a Steven Universe AU I'm producing.
Good evening everyone, my name is Lop, I'm from Brazil so I'm sorry if my English isn't the best, I'm having to use a translator to write this message. I intend to make a Steven Universe AU where the story will take place around 3,800 years ago, a little after the end of the Gem War, the idea is that humans will have a greater participation in the Gem War, because of this Homeworld Gems consider the humans as a major obstacle in the path of Earth's colonization, so after the Diamonds launched their direct attack on Earth, driving most of the Crystal Gem army into corruption, they began a process of persecution and annihilation of all humans on planet Earth. . The story will unfold through this, the idea is to show how human beings are dealing with this genocide that has been damaging them, the consequences that the colonization of the land is bringing to them, it is a really bitter story, which deals with heavy themes, however that needs to be treated. The objective is not just to show the bitterness of experiencing a genocide, on the contrary, the objective is to show the bravery of resisting it, it is to portray a great struggle for liberation, in which humans fight bravely to free themselves and their home. Anyway, after this brief summary I will explain why I need help getting information about the native peoples of North America. The beginning of the story takes place in North America for narrative purposes, more specifically in that region where Beach City is located, which in the real world would be on the Delmarva peninsula. however, it was the Demalvar peninsula 3,800 years ago, well before the beginning of English colonization, that is, at that time there were only natives living in the region. During my research at that time, the natives who lived on the Delmarva peninsula spoke the Algonquian language, and going deeper I met the Lenape tribe, I forgot to mention but the protagonist will be a Native American girl, and I'm taking a lot of inspiration from the culture of the Lenape people. to create the character and his tribe. However, I'm still not sure what I'm doing, because I'm not sure if the Lenape culture is the most suitable to be the protagonist's inspiration, I'm afraid of making a mistake and ending up offending an entire community, so if you have any knowledge about the native people of this region, and commenting will be a great help, and don't be afraid to expose any of my mistakes in this post, I really want to do something right and I will be happy to be corrected if necessary.

After watching Toonsnooper’s recent video, I honestly think a Steven Universe continuation would be very nice to watch if that ever happens.
Here’s three ideas they had and other fans have said they’d love to see with some add ons by me:
A series that follows the history of The Diamonds/gemkind. How were they created, who created them? What purpose did they serve before being a tyrannical empire? This would obviously follow Pink Diamond but not through her narrative alone (which irritated me about SU). We would see the gradual character development Pink/Rose goes through, then leading to the Gem War, her life as a Crystal Gem and the birth of Steven.
The second series which feels more of a good linear progression and it aligns with our current state of the world. A Lars of The Stars series, where we see Lars and The Off Colors + a few new allies fly around space helping alien races and liberating gems that were exhiled, imprisoned, or condemned by the Gem Empire. The villains for this show would be Emerald, Bluebird, Mean Lapis, Holly Blue, and several other gems that start their own revolution against Era 3. My idea that would be cool is what if the new rebellion tries creating a new “diamond” to serve under, but instead it’d be a fake diamond called Zirconia?
A What If? styled series of multiple possibilities that could’ve happened if certain events had changed. I think Garnet as a narrator for this would be very on brand.
There’s so much that could be done with these ideas, if Adventure Time, Regular Show, The Amazing World of Gumball, Powerpuff Girls and even Avatar are getting continuations I think Steven Universe having a continuation would be nice!!
I’d also love to read any fanfics that are related to these ideas too, if anyone has any drop them down below or message me <3

sad headcanon: Lapis doesn’t like to cry in front of people because she used to consider it to be weakness but also she tries to be stronger than she is. She likes being known as a brave gem. So to have something like loud noises that trigger her war memories so severely she absolutely hates. She thinks with her disorientated thoughts others will think of her to be too dramatic over colorful explosions in the sky. But she TRULY does not like them.
Even if they are lovely to see in the night sky to her she doesn’t see beautiful lights of colors she sees that explosion that came inches away from blowing her arm off or burning her severely so that she would poof from exposure. It is not just a loud noise to her it’s the trigger of the noise and lights that send her right back into that war zone.

“When I lost you, I was lost too, in this place… In this place, there’s something (nothing) more…” — This Place by Nicolas Snyder
Rewatched “Scavenger’s Reign” and it gave me the urge to draw something in a way inspired by the beautiful landscapes in the series. I’m out of practice with environmental illustrations, but this was a very calming one to make.
Trees so tall their canopies are lost to the eye, but their seeds drift down in gentle light and land among stones jutting from the ground. Not many beings get to witness it.

Scar took psychic damage. He had to go look up what a romcom was
Gem: Could you just say it in a full sentence that Star Wars is basically a romcom?
Scar: Will you watch Star Wars then?
Gem: Yep
Scar, in a monotone voice: Star Wars is a big romcom in a galaxy far far away...
Gem: Thank you, thank you for that. You sound depressed

CHYNA & EDDIE GUERRERO
WWF (2000)
"People have asked me about Eddie Guerrero many times. I would like to keep my memories of him to myself. However, for this event, let me say that Eddie was a talented performer & a very good friend. He always made me feel special in the ring. R.I.P. to the great Eddie Guerrero. I love you and miss you, from your “Mamacita” " - Chyna
(huge cred to FullWithDivas for the videos!)
