Imagine how frustrating it would be to be Madame Morrible- carefully cultivating the talent of the friendless loner, establishing yourself as her only friend and ally, knowing that her having to room with the Queen Bee will surely aid in making her yet more isolated and lonely and then you take your eyes off them for two minutes and they're in love and you know with a sinking heart that you're going to have to put up with this pink puffball if you want any chance of using this girl for your evil deeds.
But it's ok, because the Wizard will just invite the one he wants to the city, right?
And then you get a slightly concerned phonecall: 'Morrible, she brought her girlfriend with her.'
'Ugh. Can you send her away?'
'....Probably not, they're ecstatically dancing round the city arm in arm and picking soft furnishings for their future marital home as we speak.'
'.....fuck.'

Little Nessarose sketch!!
I don’t really see artist draw the other characters in Wicked whether it be in the musical or even now with the movie having come up. I decided to just do it myself!

Once upon a time I did my best to keep my blog balanced with a nice mix of gifs, fanart, text posts and pictures of all types of queer media. I even queued strategically so as to not have too many posts of the same topic back to back on my blog.
Ha! The old gay is dead. Nowadays it's literally just Gelphie, Gelphie, Gelphie, Gelphie, Agathario, Agathario, Gelphie, Gelphie, Gelphie, Agathario PLUS Gelphie, Gelphie, Gelphie, Gel

@ everyone else, I can explain:
-> the fic linked above is about Murderbot discovering that people made fanfics of the documentary by Dr Bharadwaj, and they ship it with Gurathin
(Made with Gephi by desecrating the airports database provided in the examples. Layout algorithm is Force Atlas.)

back to say that to express my hype for Andor s2 I did the normal thing and made a social network graph of the relationships in s1!
notes for fellow network nerds below the cut:
The labels are sized by the characters' degree. The 5 characters with the highest degree are: 1 - Cassian Andor (no surprise); 2 - Bix Caleen; [3 - Ferrix crowd - this was a bit of a cheat to express the collective action, but interesting to consider the crowd as an agent]; 4 - Mon Mothma; 5 - Kino Loy; 6 - Luthen Rael
The characters with the most betweenness (in this case, eigenvector centrality) are: 1 - Cassian (still no surprise); 2 - Vel Sartha; 3 - Cinta Kaz; 4 - Bix Caleen; 5 - Kino Loy
The data was not gathered automatically!!!! this is vibes based from my rewatch of s1 - it still only represents what we see onscreen, not things that are verbally reported, and only interactions which I could argue were somewhat mutual so i could make it undirected
it's undirected.
ignore any temptation to read into the edge weight. that's just how I imported the data into gephi bc I was feeling too lazy to change it
The colours roughly correspond to locations in which these characters were found - grey means that they travelled from two locations. Light green is Ferrix, orange is Narkina 5, pink is Aldhani, blue is Coruscant, yellow is Morlana One

out of curiosity!! the map that you've made/are making, what's the variable that ties some dots/bands together and not others?
Oh yeah! I guess I never really explained it lol. That's Spotify's "fans of x also listen to y" data, or overlap between listenerbases. When two bands share enough listeners, a line forms! The data comes from https://labs.polsys.net/playground/spotify and I work with it in Gephi

- それがあなたの助けになり、私たちが物事を改善し、将来の考古学の出版物であなたに会うことを学ぶことを願っています - Welcome to a new installment of Japanese archeology and history before continuing with the publication, I have seen the need to clarify some things about Japanese history in order to better understand the rest of my publications, with that said let's begin. - In this first chapter we clarify two things: - The first: It is the chronology of the Japanese Middle Ages that goes from 1192-1603. The historical evolution is different in each country, that is, one thing is the date and another very different is the evolution, what I mean by this is that if an agreement has been reached to say that the modern age goes from 1453- 1789 that no longer means that you can apply it at will in any country so to the face I say this because I have found some accounts with a title. -The second: the period of the shoguns began in 1192 after the Gephi wars with Minamoto no Yoritomo until the last Tokugawa Yoshinobu. - I hope it has been helpful to you and that we learn to improve things and see you in future archeology publications

9th, 10th and 11th Oct || 79 to 81 days of 100dop
9th Oct
💻 completed discussion part of our manuscript we were supposed to have our final project presentation but things got mixed up and it got postponed :/ @rzoom-csv offered to drop me to the station on his way home in his scooter but it started raining heavily and we both raced in the pouring rain. by the time we reached the station we were drenched from head to toe; it was the most fun i had in forever XD
10th Oct
📊 didn't feel like going to uni so I sat cooped up in my room and tried to learn how to use gephi. it's a very cool software and and i now know how to create networks on it. i ended up generating a few images for the manuscript of the final project
11th Oct
💊 started work on new assignment : 3d bioprinting for disease 💻 our final project is officially complete! we'll be sending our work out for publication now, hope that goes smoothly. additionally, the phase2 presentation is tomorrow and we'll be explaining like half of our work so far to the grading panel. hopefully they don't grill us with too many questions T-T 📑 started GRE! i just skimmed through the math section for an hour; it started off as due diligent practice but for some reason all the questions were from the difficult section, and eventually my sleepiness got the better of me so i gave up whoops
oh in other news I got a v cool gender affirming haircut recently i say gender affirming but it mainly just makes me look like a plant and i love it!! it makes me feel very cool and academia :P I've also gotten hooked on The Magnus Archives recently, I started it the day before yesterday and I've already devoured 30episodes of it, I might be able to get through the most of it in the next couple of days; hope you guys are having a wonderful week <3
