Water is really underrated as an offering, especially for ancestors. Think about how hard it was to get clean water, historically. Water clean enough to drink! The fact that it's relatively easy for modern people to get our hands on doesn't take away its value for our ancestors.

Animal materials and their correspondences
Tumblr media
Antlers :
Strength, endurance, masculine energy, (it can symbolise the horned god), protection, strong connection nature and the earth element, deflecting hexes/baneful energy, hope
Horns :
Wealth, the home, determination, aggressive protection, connection to that which is man made, cursing/hexing
Wings :
Adventure, deviating from the norm, sending/receiving messages, travel, starting a new adventure/path, hope, luck, wishes, comfort, (the type of bird would also affect the correspondences)
Chicken feet :
Wisdom, work, loyalty, connection to one’s property/land, safe keeping of the home, the fire element, (other bird feet can be used as well but may have slightly different correspondences)
Fur/feathers :
Creativity, warmth, connection to the air element, shielding from negative energy, protection, invisibility/hiding, warding (again, the type of animal affects the correspondences)

Invocation of the Smiler
[[written by me]]
Hail to the Smiler, the One who grins
With sneers and scars adorning Their lips.
We invite You, child of Laufey.
Hail to the Trickster, the One who laughs.
Take part in our joy, be with us now.
We invoke You, Sigyn’s beloved.
Hail to the silver-tongued shape-shifter.
Find welcome in our altars and homes.
We honor You, Angrboda’s bliss.
Hail Loki!

We have pop pagan music
So last week I made a post about how we as pagans don't really have pop music to listen to that relates to our beliefs and myths. All pagan music is pretty much folk, metal or reenactments of ancient and medival music. Nothing wrong with it, but some of us like to be basic from time to time.
Then I realised... That's not true. There's plenty of pop songs that reference the gods and the myths even though the singers themselves may not be polytheists and that's why I created this playlist. Here you can listen to mostly upbeat but also some pop ballads that you could relate to as a polytheists.
Of course I'm accepting recommendations but please only recommend songs of genres that are pop-adjacent (pop, pop-rock, K-pop, J-pop, dance pop...) or mainstream (r&b, rap, trap, hip hop). It'd be especially thankful in recommendations from other faiths like Kemetism, Norse, Celtic, etc. since I don't know much about those. Any language is good.

For people who do rituals, meditative rituals, etc.
I was listening to meditative music, the song was a ritual for blot, a Norse/Germanic sacrifice ritual. I wasn't aware until I looked it up.
It was the first time I felt relived and at home during meditation in a little while. My question is, without an actual sacrifice for a ritual would I have been giving myself up as one?
I know very little about Norse rituals.

In some cases, if your path so follows, runes can be even easier to keep with you. You can make your own runes and tarot cards that are packed with intention and energy since you made them.
if you cant afford a full sized tarot deck, buy a mini one. some are significantly cheaper. Plus, you can keep it with you, for quick divination and constantly having it close to you can help energy bonding.
Look into other types of divination if you worry about lots of travel, having things found, etc. Runes are a lot smaller than tarot cards.
You can make your own divination tools for extra cheap and they are packed with energy.

Heyyy look who's joining the "I need money, I will read runes for you" club. Sorry, I feel weird about all this, but hey, I gotta do something.
My wife is having bottom surgery later this year and we need money. More so for the expenses we'll have to pay while she's out of work for 3 months to recover, but gods know any kind of shit can happen. So I set up this gofundme for support.
I'm offering rune readings to people who donate. When you go to the gofundme page, there is a link in the description to fill out a form for you to receive your reading. You will need to include a screenshot that you donated. The amount of runes pulled is based on how much you donate. Up to $5 is a one rune pull $5-$15 is a three rune past/present/future spread $16-$40 is a four rune spread (past, future, subconscious insights, and message from spirit allies) Over $40 is a seven rune spread (for either/or questions) for eight rune spread (like the four rune spread with extra past/future insights) depending on your question/choice
Even if you can't donate, please reblog and share the link anywhere you can. We truly appreciate any amount of help or support you can give. <3
