"The word “Liminal” comes from the Latin word Limen, meaning “threshold.” At liminal stages in life we are between roles, identities, relationships or ways of being. It’s a space of limbo and a time marked by waiting, patience, gestation and incubation. There is no real timeline for how long the liminal stage can last – it’s different for everyone and every circumstance. For some, it may be a few weeks, for others, a few months or longer. As life changes around us - as we move from one career to the next, one relationship to the next, or as we go through major illness or loss – we may come to realize we need a period of reflection in order to absorb all the changes around us, and that we deserve it."
~ Kristen Roderick, Excerpt from online course On Fallow Ground.
Based on this post from @waterdeepweave--it was too cute not to draw. Also begged a new hc from me that Gale refuses to put his infant daughter down, telling Ros "You carried her for 11 months, now it's my turn!"
Putting her brilliant response aside, women have literally died because society treated us like smaller men. Women have different symptoms of diseases, need doses of medications that account for our metabolism, and have unique conditions that are in desperate need of further study. Arguing that biological sex has no importance just sets us back. Women are a biological class and we exist, and we matter.
Clockwork is Chronos and Kronos. He is time, sometimes split into many aspects but one all the same. Normally it’s not an issue, as at the end of any of the aspects they simply return to him, as the main body. It’s almost like a hivemind, though not quite that either. Honestly he’s not been able to explain it to anyone else, as it’s such an entwined thing with his being.
Once again, normally there is no issue with it. However, instincts can bleed over, which apparently er, happened at some point. He’ll have to apologize to his aspect’s children for the misunderstanding when he gets the chance.
He might have forgotten while dealing with other things, meaning he never explained it to that timeline’s children. Oh well, he’s sure nothing will come from it- he’s quite busy caring for his little ghostling who is turning out to be just like him, albeit with Space instead of Time, after all…
Any chance for art that compares Simon’s belly early pregnancy vs absolutely overdue?
cw/tw for sfw and non kink mpreg
simon never was overdue technically with morri- they were simply in developmental stasis with the seal! buut here's his bump during morri's first growth spurt that alerted him to their presence vs just before the seal was put on 'em!
just want everyone to know that i am irrevocably maternity pantspilled, i don't understand why they don't manufacture normal trouser bands like this. it is so fucking logical. our guts expand and contract all day.
i bought these the other day for general low-stress wear (they are a nice and gender neutral shape, up to size 20w us for these ones) and i am already buying another pair. sitting in every other type of trouser causes extreme nerve pain as the band digs in except this. i now can sit in a chair and know peace. if you have nerve damage or endo/pcos/etc or IBS bloating or just fucking hate the feeling of bands digging into your waist this is it. i am telling you. grabbing you by the shoulders and shaking you. ignore the branding and get ready for all your ads to think you are expecting, try the damn pants, and join me in peace.
Obsessed with the idea that when Hunter says "Belos found me and took me in" what he means is that his earliest memory is of sitting naked half-buried in a plot of dirt in a creepy mad science murder basement and just imprinting on Belos like a baby duckling when Belos came in, informed him that he was his uncle, and gave him pants
and he has just gone his entire life assuming this was normal and unremarkable.
The hardest part of the whole charade for Belos has been keeping Hunter from receiving any kind of sex ed, because the whole plan is gonna unravel the second he finds out "dug out of the dirt like a potato at age 3-5" isn't where babies typically come from and starts asking reasonable questions. That's the real reason he wasn't allowed on the internet.
Okay, so here's my theory. I'm sorry if this might sound a little weird for some people. So you remember the concept art you made of the baby mutants? Well, I think the EPF is going to use some technique to impregnate the mutants. They want the baby's so they can train them to be soldiers. I also think that they might add some kraang DNA into the mix because I noticed that one of the kids in your drawing have more than two eyes.
I'm thinking of this with Rodiclash onesided hatefucking in mind (because I like being mean to Rodimus and embarrassment is sexy on him)
But like, a size difference goes wrong situation happens during sex and the smaller bot's valve calipers get stuck on the bigger bot's spike. I'm not imagining this as painful, more like overstimulating, because the internal nodes are being constantly compressed by the spike. The littler bot can't move away and trying makes the stuck pieces tighten more, squeezing the whole valve down on the spike harder.
I'm into the version of valveplug where there's a tank at end of the valve for filling with transfluid (for babymaking or nah its hot either way) so because its hot, the valve tightening causes the spikehead to start digging straight through the tank opening, making it so the spike's transfluid slit is leaking directly into the tank
Circling back to Rodiclash, when they get stuck Rodimus frantically tries to wiggle out of it and accidentally compresses his valve so much he forces himself into a constant feedback loop of involuntary overloads. Thunderclash has to hold him down against his chest to stop him from thrashing and causing more stimulation. Once he's completely and perfectly still he stops overloading but any movement, even so much as twitching, can randomly send him into another one.
Thunderclash's spike is currently harder than diamonds. He's big enough and Roddys moved enough that his spikehead is completely through Roddys tank opening, and hes absolutely weeping transfluid.
This is the horniest he's ever been in his life, but he cant enjoy it because he's too worried about Rodimus and guilty about enjoying this and its stopping him from going over the edge. He's stuck, completely denied the overload he was building up to. His spike is throbing and twitching, and Roddy can feel every movement against his nodes
I am a man of equal opportunity humiliation, Thunderclash is the one who finally calls a medic and has to explain everything to Ratchet over comm. (Still on edge the whole time) (It's excruciatingly mortifying) (I'm so sorry, Ratchet)
When a medic finally gets there and starts prying them apart, there's a moment where they get Roddy partly lifted off but they accidentally drop him back onto Thunderclash's spike and that's what finally makes him overload straight into Roddy's tank.
Rodimus gets one single speck of satisfaction that Thunderclash broke what Roddy thought was a veneer of being a perfect gentleman that's too perfect and polite to overload in in him. He's still got Thunderclash's transfluid leaking out of his tank though, so... this is possibly not the win he thought it would be
Might be a win for Thunderclash, though. He's probably into it. Incredibly embarrassed, but into it
(The thing Rodimus is most mad about in the end, is that technically the only thing Thunderclash did wrong was having a spike that's too big)
I'm confused as to why it some find it hard to believe or never consider that Kiriona could genuinely be on John's side.
Sure, John's kind of a silly asshole but almost everyone Gideon has ever met has been an asshole. All of the major players of her childhood straight up tried to murder her (Harrow, the Reverent Parents, the gross aunts, Crux, Mortus) or were chill with people trying to murder her (Aiglamene, Ortus, Glaurica). The only nice people she's ever met died within a couple of days of her meeting them, courtesy of the only woman to ever show interest in her (she was lying about it). Even the sixth weren't particularly friendly with her, there was a lot going on and then Pal froze her body so she could witness him literally self destruct. She thinks Harrow might hold non-murder feelings for her for like, two seconds before finding out she doesn't want her either. And then she finds out her mom (the mom she spent her entire awful, mortally dangerous childhood daydreaming about to cope) also didn't want her! Gideon was gestated explicitly to die, to be thrown away, to be a bomb. The Gideon Wake died thinking about was never Gideon Nav, it was Gideon Pyrrha. Wake never even named her.
So, yeah, sure, John's an asshole but he's an asshole who treats Kiriona like she's worth something. Jury's out on what the hell is up with her body, her soul, and her depression, but still. He makes her a prince, he gives her real authority and power, he claims her as his daughter. He acknowledges her talents and makes plans with her for the future. He gives her his name to make her own.
Nobody ever wanted Gideon Nav alive. Why wouldn't she willingly kick it as Kiriona Gaia in death?
