I actually requested this on another blog a while ago, but I'm curious about your take on it. So, would you be willing to write platonic headcannons or ficlet (up to you) for Adam with a gender neutral teenage angel reader? Like the reader died as a teenager and somehow and for some reason Adam took them under his wing. And after a while, the reader starts to see Adam as a father figure and one time the reader accidentally calls Adam 'Dad' but they are very embarrassed about it.

Anyways, here is my interpretation; I ended up basically making up a short story lol, got really into it...hopefully you enjoy!!

Platonic Father Figure Adam x Reader

It took you a while to get used to residing in Heaven, that’s for sure; despite getting the warmest of welcomes from both Saint Peter and the other Angels who would later become your friends, you still found it hard to settle in.

That is until you met Adam.

Adam is very well known both for being the very first man ever created and also the first human soul to ever enter Heaven, and for his notable personality. He’s egotistical, cruel and an overall depraved soul, making you wonder what it really took for a deceased human to end up in Heaven. But let’s not dwell on that too much.

You and Adam met through the concerts of his band; not that he’s the most famous guitar player in Heaven, his band is rather small actually, but you actually have to thank that for getting you multiple meetings with him and the rest of the group. You kind of see them as a family at this point, Adam included.

 You actually end up helping them sometimes, with either the lyrics of their songs or the sonority of their music in general. Everyone appreciates you a lot, although every time you express a negative opinion on how Adam’s bit sounds he’s not afraid of basically telling you off. He secretly values your opinion a lot though, and in his free time, when he’s not busy practicing with the rest of the band or taking care of Extermination matters, he revises on his own on whatever piece sounded off to you.

Either way, Adam ends up becoming pretty protective of you; he even warns his right hand woman, Lute, to never treat you in the wrong way, and from that moment on she gains a lot of respect for you as well.

You three are rarely seen walking around without each other actually, unless you’re out and about with your other friends your age, in which case he warns you that they better treat you right or you’re never seeing them again, to which you retort with saying that this is very unlikely since you’ve known them for a while and this is Heaven after all, if they’re here they must’ve earned it somehow. He simply replies that in the rare case that they do something distasteful to you he’s completely willing to send them where they belong – in Hell.

Adam manages to tone it down with the rude nicknames when it comes to you; he will still call you ‘bitch’ or anything of the like, or he might call you a little asshole from time to time if you do something that mildly annoys him, but he will never go too overboard as he doesn’t really wish to make you uncomfortable – the thoughts in his head though might sound something like: “Ah, shit. I basically became a father figure, call them something weird and they’re gone Adam, gone.”

The one time you manage to make Adam, the First Man, emotional, is the night before the Extermination.

With Charlie’s father, Lucifer himself, somehow getting her to visit Heaven and discuss with Sera and Emily themselves, you’re worried that he might be planning to make an appearance and hurt Adam.

Adam dismisses your theories, even dares to call them stupid, and in a fit of emotion you blurt out a “But I don’t want to lose you just for being careless, dad!”.

You quickly realize what you just said and both your hands travel to your mouth, a shocked expression on both you and Adam’s faces.

He mumbles a ‘shit’ before pulling you into a hug with his wing.

“Promise I’ll watch my back, kid.”

Stuff in common I found between Obi-Wan Kenobi (Star Wars) and Splinter (Tmnt2012) bc that happens when u are hyperfixated with fictional characters:

If you have seen the trailer for series 5 that was released back in September you will hopefully recall this scene that was tweeted by a curious fan on twitter had pointed out we hadn’t seen it in Series 5 and tagged the director in case we could get anything from him.

Instead Larry came in and said “could be something yet to come…” so it is in the special but why are they all running and look panicked??

Ah, S2A has completed with the release of EP7. Chef’s kiss! I have another post where I predicted the release dates of the S2B episodes, I was a few days off, but got pretty close with this one, lol!

Anyway, this is a post predicting the plots for the episodes we can expect in 2024, going off of the titles!

PLOT PREDICTIONS :

A few months back, Vivziepop revealed the names for the rest of the episodes in S2:

We can expect 5 episodes this year if everything goes to plan! Let’s analyze these titles. Hopefully we receive a 2024 trailer soon so we can get a sneak peak at what the team is working on, but until then let’s give it our best guess!

S2 EP8 - THE FULL MOON “🌕”

Oh boy, this episode is going to wreck me. Interestingly enough, I’ve seen some fans theorize that this is actually a Loona episode, but the main consensus is that this is an episode focusing around Stolitz. There arrangement does take place during the full moon, after all.

The episode is most definitely going to involve Stolas confronting Blitz with the Asmodeous crystals, purposing an end to their agreement.

I can see this episode ending one of two ways:

1 : Several things are left unsaid as Stolitz refuses to communicate their feelings and concerns. (I think I speak for a lot of fans when I say that this would finish Stolitz for me, at least until a positive new development in the relationship.)

2 : Stolitz communicates and comes to understand each others concerns, creating hope for a healthy relationship in the future.

Fortunately for us, I don’t think the writers goal is to step on Stolitz any longer. The idea of this being an episode completely dedicated to their relationship gives me hope that we will receive a happy ending. Even if they don’t kiss and make up, at the very least I believe things that need to be said will be said. Maybe it is simply wishful thinking, but my prediction is that this episode will be a win for the ship.

S2 EP9 - APOLOGY TOUR “🍻”

Hmm, this episode will certainly be a unique one but I am excited for it nonetheless. The most common theory I see for this episode is that Blitzø will “tour” around, rushing to apologize to everyone he has wronged. I take issue with this theory.

Helluva Boss episodes are 11-30 minutes in length, how is that much character development going to take place in such a short period of time? I must say, that would be a new level of bad writing. I’m not going to say with certainty that the show couldn’t make it work, but I don’t think this plot is likely.

This episode might instead focus on simply one person Blitzø owes an apology too. Although I’m itching for a Verosika/Blitzø friendship, I’m getting Barbie Wire vibes. Bringing Barbie to various places and spoiling her as an act of peacemaking seems like a very Blitzø thing to do.

S2 EP10 - GHOSTF**KERS “👻”

Originally, there was no doubt in my mind that we would see the return of the D.H.O.R.K.S in this episode, judging by the play on “Ghostbusters”.

The organization might have backup this time after they gathered the evidence in S1 EP6.

The Imps- aren’t ghosts though. I’m still relatively certain that the D.H.O.R.K.S will be the ones doing the ghost hunting, I’m just curious as to how this crosses over with our protagonists.

An alternate theory not involving the D.H.O.R.K.S is where a job gets I.M.P involved with ghosts, perhaps in a haunted house or something similar? The spooky themes would be welcomed, as my running theory is that this episode is intended for Halloween 2024.

S2 EP11 - MASTERMIND “🔥”

Ah, interesting title. Mastermind, as in an extremely intelligent person. For example, a scientist or scientists. Could Lyle Lipton and Loopty Goopty make a reappearance? They seemed more like one-off characters to me, but a comeback would be fun.

An alternate theory I have comes from the emoji, a flame. Fire is involved? Maybe this “mastermind” is a new character. Perhaps we will meet Satan, the sin of wrath? Sounds pretty fiery to me!

S2 EP12 - SINSMAS “😈”

A Christmas episode? How lovely! This episode could go anywhere, all we can say for certain is that it will be festive.

You know what I want? Fluffy Stolitz, kissing in the snow… but what are the chances of something so perfect? :,)

Jokes aside, if this is the season finale it is likely a significant episode. I don’t believe anything terrible will happen (c’mon, it’s a Christmas special) so we can only hope for a wholesome and positive conclusion to the season!

Shoot, I need to include an actual solid theory? Umm… Blitzø will dress up as Santa at some point during the episode. There! How’s that?

Will you ever draw papa bull and duke together as a comparison of what they look like? I’m genuinely curious to see duke in your artstyle.

sure thing! i was already working on a drawing anyway, so any excuse to exercise a quick sketch never hurts.

im not really too good with drawing furries so they probably look pretty awkward. anyway, yeah, you can tell there's a lot of resemblances between duke and papa bull. i actually copied and mirrored on purpose and just changed certain details (mainly age and fashion sense).

i tried to make papa bull to look softer, kinder, in his eyes, while it's harder to interpret with duke, other than him being a bit awkward.

they all do have hair tho! a bit more mullet-like, i suppose, but i don't think they can help that considering how their anatomy works (and i'm somewhat trying to keep true to the irl animals as well so there's not really any 'rainbow anime gravity defying' hair going on there). papa bull have a bit more hair than duke, since he had a beard whileas duke doesn't.

if you noticed that duke didn't have the nose ring, good eye! i figured it's a specific species cultural factor, that the head of the family has it (regardless of the gender).

they're actually supposed to be darker, closer to black, but i also wanted to show the wrinkles and other finer details in their looks thus the brown. i...think i might like them better that way, but eh.

as for dorothy, she adore kids regardless of who or what they are. she's always happy to see the little devon and fawn on them lol i kind of tried to keep her to look like a (summery) farm girl, with a lot of body confidence in herself, but it's pretty sketchy so i don't think thats obvious. she's a big, happy gal though.

my year in fic

I was tagged by own personal ledgebag @maesterchill to share a few lines from every fic I posted this year. Behold her list of Drarry/rarepair majesty here. I checked my AO3 and i have five - one of which was a collab which involved me writing two fifty-word segments but I've included it nonetheless. This year was a tough one for me writing-wise - I had hoped to finish and post my long WIP and I didn't manage that due to real-life pressures interfering, so I admit it's been a disappointing year for me. However I did manage to get a foot on the ladder of original fiction, with two short stories published and some great feedback, and new deadlines coming up for more original writing. So swings and roundabouts I suppose. My only goal for next year? Finish my long fic! And wishing all fandom creators a satisfying and uplifting year ahead for 2023.

🩳Gather Your Will With Mine - Drarry, E, 1.9k, a massive collab so here's one of my fifty word segments.

"How can I be sure?" Harry whispers, later—a Muggle hotel bed, his whole body one delicious ache. "You know," Draco answers, but opens for Harry's Legilimens anyway. Harry's favourite chippy order; that first desperate kiss outside the Natural History museum; an unexpected infinity of tenderness.  And then the door opens.

“Look at your face, though,” Harry says, and they both watch the photo in silence. In it, Draco’s head dips and raises in a constant, wondering loop, face brightening when he peers into the swaddled bundle as though he’s holding magic itself, a new sun. His unbearably young self untucks the blanket and Scorpius emerges, still wet and crumpled-looking, the small starfish clutch of his hand reaching out, his opening mouth a silent squall.

“I wish I had been there,” Harry says gently, and Draco wishes Harry could have—somehow, impossibly—been there too.

“I didn’t know,” Harry told him. “I didn’t know you felt the same.”

“Why do you think I’ve come to you?” Malfoy said. “Of all the people in all the world… Potter, I don’t want to wake up before—”

“Yes,” Harry said. “Yes, Draco, yes,” and he scrambled to wriggle out of his jeans.

“The old ways?” Harry said, idly curious, half-listening, and Draco smirked at him.

“Essential magic,” Draco said mischievously. “A blood rite, maybe. Or more simple, and almost certainly more pleasant—a consummation. But something serious, something… with meaning.”

“A consummation,” Harry repeated slowly, and he couldn’t help it, his eyes dropped to Draco’s lips, saw the moment Draco’s mouth opened slightly in surprise. Though maybe it wasn't surprise; Draco must have known, there had been a few times over the years when things between them had nearly tipped over into something else, and now there was nothing but the two of them, a year of togetherness, and matching rings on their fingers.

Right at that moment everything felt fresh to Draco, but especially Potter; the urgency of new sweat, the decisive laughter lines around his eyes from the way he was still smiling at Draco, the dense night-sky sheen of his dark hair, much longer than it had been in school.

“I knew something like this would happen,” Draco said, still staring at Potter’s flank, the skin around the bite that looked very soft, the glimpse of his neat dimpled lower back, the lowslung trousers that could have done with a belt. Draco let the tip of his tongue drift to first one incisor, then the other. He was hungry. “I knew they were going to come after me. I didn’t expect that they’d try to murder me, though. Rude of them.”

Curious, how would it feel to have multiple ghosts inside of you?

Having one ghost inside of you would make you feel full and occupied. You’d be able to feel it in your stomach and also feel it spread into your limbs. With multiple ghosts inside of you, they would need to occupy a different part of your body each because they can’t all wear you like a suit at once. And you’d feel even more bloated because there’s less room for them to spread out. You would feel one inside of your legs and crotch. One will be sitting inside your stomach expanding it into a beer belly. And the other will be in your chest, arms and head. The ghost occupying your head will be in control of your body whilst the others are in ‘passenger seats.’ The ghosts can shift around and swap positions with some squirming, if it’s time for another ghost to take control 👻

Hello I really like your blog and it's really helpful. I just am curious, do you have any advice on how to get members to talk more freely with each other when professionals are around? And any chance on resources that can help with working on communication?

Hey, the best resource we’ve written so far on building communication will be in our post on establishing contact with headmates, which you can find here:

We’d encourage your system to communicate with each other in ways that help each of you feel seen, heard, and respected. Remember that internal communication is a skill like anything else - it takes time and regular practice in order to improve, so don’t be too discouraged if you don’t see the results you’re looking for right away.

As far as communicating around professionals, we’re assuming you’re referring to mental health professionals specifically, like counselors and therapists. And this is honestly a tough one that’s probably going to vary from system to system.

I was seeing our therapist for 3 years before we even had our syscovery. Even after that, it was almost a year before we were able to successfully switch in a session or bring a part other than myself or our therapy part to an appointment. I guess I can list some stuff that helped us reach the point where we are today (9 or 10 out of around 20 of us have spoken to our therapist).

Before we get started though, a few of us made a post with some info on switching that may be useful to y’all. Here it is:

But with regards to switching/communicating with others in therapy, here’s what we’ve done to help make that happen.

- Starting with letters. We have a few parts who wrote a letter to our therapist before coming to a session. This allowed them to introduce themselves, voice their fears or concerns, and generally have some of their thoughts heard by our therapist without the pressure of having to be physically in the room with him.

- Talking through concerns. For parts who were scared of our therapist, afraid of fronting, or felt like they couldn’t switch during therapy for any reason, they wrote a list of questions and concerns for me (the host) to ask our therapist. We’ve had whole sessions just talking through the worries of my parts, and my therapist was able to reassure us or make accommodations so that more frightened parts could feel more safe and comfortable during an appointment.

- Making sure not to pressure others. Yeah, we have some young parts who desperately need help and need to talk to our therapist who haven’t yet. But we’ve been doing our best to not force any alter to go to therapy who doesn’t want to or isn’t ready. We’ve been trying to take things one day, one part, and one therapy session at a time. And that’s how we’ve been able to make the progress we’ve made so far.

Hopefully this helps? Sorry if it doesn’t - we’re honestly not feeling too well today but are feeling pressure to answer some asks since they’re piling up quickly. Again, we’re really sorry.

Time for a ghost poll 👻 (cause I’m curious)

Personally, I believe ghosts (or some phenomena that appears to be ghosts) are real and I like watching ghost-hunting shows!

I’m also a big scaredy cat and I’d be terrified to see actual ghost proof so I liked Paranormal Home Inspectors, and I love watching Ghost Files because having someone who doesn’t believe in ghosts and can provide alternate explanations makes me less scared :3
