Anyone remember these personalized wake up messages from Misha Collins, I think you got that in the gishwhes highest tier and he speaks in a low voice to wake you up softly and then gets louder...

So today I found my old phone and charged it just to see how the camera works and what is still on it... and I entirely forgot about that alarm. And it was lying somewhere on the table behind my head while I was watching TV and at about 9sth on my phone which was 6pm- ish here, that voice suddenly appeared out of nowhere and totally creeped me out for the first seconds until my brain connected all the dots to make it make sense.

say what you will about dmitri but the man DID give us GISH (formerly known as GISHWHES) for years, and honestly that shit did wonders for my mental health and wish to live during the years that it run. and I miss it.

Might you possibly have any pictures, descriptions or other details about a Gish craft apron sold by Gish/ stands a year or so before the last scavenger hunt ever?

I do! It was available in the 2022 gishporium, and sold out within the first 24 hours- Gishers bought out the entire stock available from the manufacturers.

About a week and a half later, they announced that more would be produced and made available in the holiday shop that year. However, this never happened, most likely due to the decision to end Gish made being made some time in September or October 2022.

Aprons were $29.99 each.

That item funded a project with the Mines Advisory Group (www.maginternational.org ) and it struck me that today might be a good day to make another donation to them in not-so-loving memory of Henry Kissinger. He's gone, but the aftermath of his war crimes is still ongoing.

The first gishploma was sent out in 2014, and there was one for every main hunt after that. (So 2014-2022)

These posts have never worked for me but I figure I will try one more time. I was a GISHer for almost ten years (Runner-Up 2017 and 2022). I am really feeling the loss of my “third place” and my GISH community. You know, they say you need a third place. Home, work, and some other place that is safe and rewarding. GISH was my only community outside of my real life job/hobby (they’re the same thing), really. And now (okay, I know it’s been awhile lol) it’s just gone, and I don’t have something else to fill that void.

I’m in my late 30s, cis female, American, and looking to make some new friends. I like dogs, horses, Good Omens, Supernatural, X-Files, Twin Peaks, 911, Dead Boy Detectives, Our Flag Means Death, Bridgerton. I have a Masters degree in 18th Century British Courtship Literature. I’m looking to connect with people, maybe join a discord or two? Just thought I’d put myself out there in the ether ❤️✨.

god i wish i participated in gish the two year overlap of when misha was still doing it and i was in the fandom… i was like “oh i’m busy with camp i’ll do it in a year or three” and then it hasn’t happened since 2022 :(
