Currently going insane over Deep Cover's lyrical structure

The rolecall at the start differs between prisoners who were found Guilty or Innocent in T1: those found Innocent have (Under) at the start of their line, while those who were found Guilty do not. (I find it interesting that Es, notably, has Under at the start of both of the lines about them.)

In addition, the structure of the lines are different: those about Innocent prisoners are in the form of a rhyming word that ends in an -ai sound (these words are later reprised for the rolecall at the end of the song) and then a sentence, where Guilty prisoners get repetition, ending in a ne sound. To show some examples - Yuno (Innocent): Hashitanai nukumori no gooru Fuuta (Guilty): Mata ikitte-sa ikitte-sa dasai ne Kazui (Innocent): Kakushiteitai yokubaritai gisoo hanei Mikoto (Guilty): Naji oboetenai oboetenai nibui-ne

(Interestingly, Amane is kinda an outlier. She doesn't get the Under at the start of her line but the line structure is closer to that of Innocent prisoners: Tomerarenai fumikomenai shinkōshin. Considering that Kotoko never attacked her (even though she intended to) I'm reading this as a feature, not a bug.)

The four T1 Guilties (including Amane) do not appear in the reprisal rolecall at the end, but you know who does? Kotoko has avoided speaking of herself the whole time, until she finally does so in the last line ("They’re still here, still here, it grates me"). And which pattern does she use? Hora nokotte sa nokotte sa uzai-ne

Repetition, ending with ne. She uses the same pattern for herself as she uses for the Guilty prisoners.

spoilers sorry but i'm sad 😭😭😭 gisoo's big brother's been talked up as this weathered brutal war hero that's killed all these people and you meet him and it turns out yeah he's big and strong but he's autistic he doesn't know what's going on he doesn't have any family or anyone else to turn to except for his younger brother 😭😭😭😭 and they got separated but before they did his younger brother told him to stay alive so that's all he's been doing even though he's gotten super hurt and he has all these nasty scars 😭😭 and they finally got reunited and he gives his brother some corn 😭😭😭😭😭😭 and gisoo asks if it hurts and says he's proud of him for doing a good job and following instructions and staying alive and he's sorry he doesn't have a reward or anything in return 😭😭😭 and his brother just asks him to make noises because he's always loved it when his brother made noises like impressions of animals and such for him but gisoo says nooo that's so immature a war hero can't be doing stuff like that anymore 😭 and he also says when the war is over his brother should ask for a nice pretty wife and settle down and then his brother says gisoo should ask for the same but he says he doesn't need it cause he's already held hands and kissed a girl he likes. and then he ended up doin gthe aniimal noises for his brother anyways 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
