hi! we made a game for #GMTKJam 2023

its called HONK SHOO MIMI and its about when you've been kidnapped but your hero is sooooooo sleepy that you have to use your magic powers to get them to save you

made by my friend/birthday-sharer Robin (programming) and me (art/audio/programming)

DISCLAIMER we were super short for time & ended up making 2 v short levels and a physics playground. its EXTREMELY NOT DONE but its fun to play around with & i hope u see the potential 🫡

some friends and I did a 48 hour game jam!! I worked on all the 2D assets for it, it was a great experience!

the theme was role reversal, so we made a greek-mythology themed dungeon crawler where you act as the hero's sentry, drawing a minimap for him!

GMTK 2023: Prop Swap

For this GMTK Game jam, we made a puzzle game where the main mechanic is swapping the materials of objects. The theme was "roles reversed" and we wanted to come up with a unique take on that.

It's got some inspiration from Portal and a bit of Zelda shrines.

I did all the programming on this and the way the material swapping works is neat. For example, a concrete barrier is too heavy to pick up, but if you turn a beach ball into concrete, it's not too heavy since it's smaller.

Laqua & Fiero

Two creatures with opposing roles – water and fire. Switch between both roles to solve puzzles together, but beware of keeping the balance, or the creatures may become each other's demise!

Shoot 'Em Down (GMTK Game Jam 2023)

Last weekend I participated in GMTK Game Jam, which was my first game jam. This year's theme was "roles reversed". I developed Shoot 'Em Down, a reverse take on shoot 'em ups where you play the bad guys.

Spend your energy on troops to take down the local Hero before they reach your position. If they manage to reach you, control the Boss' ship and take them out yourself. Will you succeed with your invasion?
