Sadly here (at least from the part of latam where I am from) is very common to have um less than clean ways of getting money

I fully think that Fellow and Gidel own something for a gang and that they are working under pressure yet still treated horribly living in very bad conditions, small space the way their clothes are patched etc etc (hc obviously)

I can't wait for Fellow's card to get to the English server because apparently he says "You are so lucky to have such a big space!" When he's invited to the guest room alongside other stuff that just hits different yk? Like when you see news talking about the death of someone that didn't have any type of school experience because of low income so they talk with a bunch of dialect and like make all Latinos look bad or whatever it tugs at your heartstrings in a way that's hard to explain

Ah sorry this was to say that I adore Vovó Bucchi and the found family stuff! I love imagining Gidel finally getting a chance to have regular kid activities with the neighborhood kids away from working and all oh just all of Gidel's new friends have to teach him all of the games they play and Gidel finally laughing out loud omg I am sobbing

Anon!!!!!!!! you understand why these two are so precious to me! 😭 Everything you said about them is one of the many reasons they are so interesting to me!!! !And why their event is one of my top 5 favorite events (Fairy Gala being number one)

Unfortunately, it is very common for children and young people to get involved in dangerous things, such as gangs or dangerous "jobs" to support their families or to have a chance of having some kind of luxury/better life… It is frightening to see the amount of news that talks about this.

I don't think they're 100% innocent or that it's OK for them to do all that, but it brings an extra layer to their characters!! And when I met Fellow and Gidel and their story, and what led them to do the things they did…

It was impossible not to get attached to them.

And I don't know how or who mentioned about Fellow and Gidel meeting Grandma Bucchi (I believe it was another anon… anon, wherever you are, I hope you're well and happy <3), but it opened the door for me to bring together one of my favorite duos with one of my favorite themes: found family.

AND I AM SO HAPPY TO SEE MORE PEOPLE COMING TOGETHER AND IMAGINING HOW NOW THEY CAN HAVE A SIMPLER LIFE WHERE GIDEL CAN FINALLY HAVE A CHILDHOOD, PLAY, MAKE FRIENDS AND HAVE A HOME TO COME BACK TO!!! AND FELLOWS CAN BE AT PEACE WITHOUT HAVING SO MUCH FEAR OF SOMETHING HAPPENING TO GIDEL!!!

Yes, life is still not easy or without any difficulties, but now they are no longer alone and they do not have to literally fight every day to survive… But rather actually live!!.... and they make me so emotional anon omg

noooo i just realized that since ruggie grew up helping take care of the younger kids in his poor neighborhood, and has been shown to be really good with kids as a result, he might have been able to get through to gino in some way AND he might've also had something to say to ernesto about how much it sucks that he makes gino help him do human trafficking for a dangerous abusive mysterious employer instead of exploring literally any other option to keep this child safe.
