So, according to Martlet, monsters seem to be able to emanate the battle themes, and she's unsure of if Clover can here them. Since they're a monster now, what would their theme be? Would it be a regular "(blank) Approaching" or would it be more unique?
Obviously the easiest answer would be Enemy Retreating since that's the closest to a "Clover Battle Theme" that we're gonna get but uh, I don't think it would work for Monster Clover given the whole murder themes related to it.
Maybe it'd include a mix of Martlet, Starlo and Ceroba's themes (Protocol, Showdown!, Some Point of No Return, A Mother's Love)? Maybe Dalv's too?
I'm not asking you to make one, but I just wanna know how you think it'd probably sound. I'm definitely leaning more towards the mashup one since their Monster body is a mashup of their friends.
oh this is such a fun question!!
i also think it would be a mashup! buuut i think the songs they would steal from would be birds of a feather, showdown, some point of no return, and vigorous terrain.
birds of a feather; one of martlets themes but it has a matching song as well (flock together). the saying fits the theme of friendship clover and martlet have!
showdown/some point of no return: the best starlo/ceroba themes that i think would fit
vigorous terrain: cowboy :]
i think some aspects of enemy retreating would stay; all the monsters themes usually have some kind of leitmotif that goes through ALL their songs no matter the route. so some of it would be in there!
i think it would be named something like “Harbringer of Justice”, but in a fun lighthearted way :]
iiiif there were a no mercy route, i think their theme names would be “All’s Fair” and “In Love and War”, and they would take motifs from trial by fury, retribution, justice (that was a rlly good idea i hadnt thought of!) and enemy retreating. but enemy retreating would be MUCH more prominent :) “All’s Fair” would be the first fight with them (normal form) and “In Love and War” would be a final battle with their Determined form!

☝️let us be clear, kristen listens to (inflicts) the hyperpop/“meme music” openly, but cries to julien baker and semler at 3am in the cathedral. think brat/shrek soundtrack vs faith healer/stay down/ jesus from texas
meanwhile, riz typically listens to modern classical and film scores, but also enjoys similar “full” music with interpretable lyrics upon repeats-ex. sufjan stevens, frank ocean, etc. concertos and lots of hans zimmer, michael abels, daniel pemberton vs chicago and lost.

One time i somehow got on a redit thread on will wood bc i looked him up or something and Im constantly thinking about one person I saw getting really aggressive about his fans liking him for queer reasons and they said something like "he's a cis het 30 year old man he probably doesnt know what 'so gender' means" and like ok yeah being parasocial is not good but saying that he doesnt know what "so gender" means is laughably wrong. The guy has a song about gender identity and also at one point dressed like this:
Like theres discouraging parasocial weirdness like assigning stranger's sexualities and then theres what is essentially gasligthing people into thinking they just made everything they like up about a musical artist they like. For some reason.

"well I'm fucked, I'm fucked, I could've been god, but I'm fucking gay" is really the lyric of the year

playing musical chairs with the high council seats again, while refining this timeline, and it, uh, it's kinda funny to look at because you have 42 - 39BBY going like this:
42BBY: Dooku leaves Jedi Order, opening up a seat on the High Council
41BBY: Jocasta Nu on the High Council (seen in Jedi: Fallen Order: Dark Temple 1)
40BBY: Qui-Gon offered seat on council.
Qui-Gon & Obi-Wan ordered to Pijal.
Rael & Qui-Gon gossip about Dooku's order-leaving.
Dooku finally calls Rael back, re 'new power' he's discovered aka the dark side.
39BBY: Sifo-Dyas joins the High Council.
i think it's hilarious if the chain goes:
Dooku joins High Council.
Dooku leaves High Council, in what may be the shortest tenure anyone has achieved, at least until 19BBY and Anakin Skywalker lasts a whole thirty-three or so hours.
Jocasta takes his seat as a temporary measure, given implications that she 'traded the High Council seat for the Archives' back when she was ~ 42.
High Council agrees (except Yoda) to offer Qui-Gon the chair. Jocasta wants to go back to her Archives, she cannot have her attention split. Yesterday, she caught a title that had a semi-colon instead of a colon on its database entry. This cannot be tolerated!
Qui-Gon declines.
High Council offers Sifo-Dyas the chair. He probably does a 'who, me?' little bit of mime before letting out a little cackle in the library break room when telling Jocasta.
Sifo-Dyas accepts, joins High Council, rubs his little hands together in glee.
i call it the bogan's advocate chair. it's the troublemakers' chair. the heretic chair.
