"I have an idea for you" a Katie McCabe stated with a mieschief smile while the two of you were in the kitchen. It was team movie night at your and Vics apartment but your girlfriend was too occupied by the movie to help you, so the irish woman offered her help to re-fill the snacks. "Go on"

"Last night, i saw a video 'Calling my partner by their full name to see their reaction' - wanna do it on Vic?" she grinned, knowing you could never resist pranks like that. "You‘re evil, woman" you laughed.

You always called the dutch 'baby' or 'my love' which she absolutely adored. It made her heart race and if you didn’t, you’re mostly out with other people where you addressed her as Vic or Viccy, never Victoria. The last time you called her Victoria was ages ago.

"You in?"

"Of course"

As the movie finished, everybody started their journey home while your girlfriend was cleaning the surface. "Go ahead, mijn liefje. I’ll come to bed in just a minute". In your tired state you just nodded and went to your shared bedroom. You were almost asleep when you felt the bed dip beside you. Strong arms wrapped around your waist which pulled your back against your lovers front "goede nacht, liefje" she pressed a final kiss to the back of your head before she drifted off to sleep, her soft snores filling the room. Tomorrow is showtime, you thought, falling into a slumber a second later.

As you woke up, you felt your lovers fingers stroke over your features. "Good morning" the dutch whispered, pressing multiple kisses along your cheek. "Hi"

Vic was making breakfast while you were in the living room cleaning the last few items from last night. "Do you know where the remote is, Victoria?" you called to get the plan rolling.

"Victoria?" said person whispered while frowning, quickly entering the living room. "No? It was there last night"

"Okay" you said, still searching. "Breakfast is ready, mijn liefje," she pulled you in the kitchen "i made your favorite" smiling, she placed a plate in front of you. As a thanks you pressed a peck to her cheek. You loved it when Vic made breakfast, especially when it was your favorite.

While the two of you ate breakfast you talked about everything and nothing. You purposely avoided mentioning her name so your little joke wouldn‘t be exposed too soon. Also because you hadn‘t seen her reaction as you called her 'Victoria' the first time.

As your off day went on, your lover and you did a few things around your home before settling down on the couch. Vic was laying on top of you and looking at you while you traced patterns along her back "you‘re so beautiful, the prettiest girl, mijn liefje" she murmured. The dutch has always been head over heels for you - everybody knew. As well it wouldn‘t suprise anyone if she proposed soon, the two of you have been together since the U-teams. "Thank you, Victoria" you smiled, blushing like a mess. Her body tensed, not liking it all when you called her Victoria. She gave you a confused look which you ignored, acting like you didn‘t see it. "I‘m gonna get a glass of water, do you want one?", she asked after she stood rather abruptly up. "I‘m good" Vic made her way to the kitchen yet not to get a glass of water like she said but to check her calendar to see if she had forgotten anything that might have pissed you off.

Your birthday? No.

Your anniversary? No.

Your (grand) parents birthday? No.

Why would you call her Victoria?!

"Victoria, come backkk" you whined, missing her touch. Again?!

When Vic re-entered the living room her eyes met your relaxing figure. You seemed at peace yet mad at her, why else would you call her Victoria? "Mijn liefje," you thought she was about to crack, the way her orbs looked sad, her body tense, "dinner at your favorites tonight?" - she tried everything that you wouldn‘t call her Victoria again. You jumped in her arms, overcome with joy "Yes!" God, you were confusing! The whole day you only called her Victoria and seemed mad at her but on the other hand you acted like you normally would. "You‘re amazing Victoria." Slightly pissed now, the midfielder grabbed your hips and pressed her lips against yours with anger. Your knees got weak and If she hadn‘t held you, you would‘ve fallen to the ground, your body was on fire, your stomach full with butterflies, your mind completely consumed by your lover. When air became an issue you pulled apart, both of you out of breath, chest heavily rising and falling "Wow, Vict-"

"Don‘t!" the dutch stormed out of the room back into the kitchen. She just gave you on of the best kisses in your life and you still wanted to call her Victoria. Of course, you followed her, not sure if you should continue the prank. "Victoria?" you questioned, doing it anyways. "STOP THAT!" she said louder and much more annoyed. "Why are you in a mood with me?! All day long you‘ve been calling me Victoria! I‘m not just Victoria to you! I‘m your girlfriend and future wife, so don‘t call me that. I‘m anything but that to you!" you grinned as she rambled on, your heart melting at 'future wife'. "Baby," immediately her eyes found yours "better?" smiling, you pulled her into you. Her head was hiding in the crook of your neck "or my love? Princess? My star?" you felt her nod rapidly in your neck at each pet name. "why are you mad at me?" the pouty face (almost the same as the iconic florence pugh pout) of your girlfriend looked at you. In that moment, you wanted to wrap her up and protect her from the whole world. "I‘m not. It was just a prank, my love. Katie suggested it" relief washed over her, "just a prank" it wasn‘t a question, more a confirmation for herself.

"liefje," her hands held your waist as she walked you to the wall, "that wasn‘t very nice of you" she whispered in your ear while her body was trapping you between herself and the wall. Slowly, she trailed kisses along your neck and jaw. You were putty in her hands. When she got to your weak spot a moan escaped your throat which made her go wild yet she ignored her blissful state as she pulled away "dinner at my favorites, now."

The lights beamed across the floor of the karaoke bar, a small disco ball decorating the ceiling of the room, drenching the room in small flickering lights, the floor and the small platform was covered in confetti, probably from a previous party.

I looked around for my girlfriend who thankfully was right behind me, following me like a lost puppy.

"You good hon?" I yelled over the beating music of the speakers and whoever was singing

"Yeah I'm fine" She smiled, still a nervous blush adorned her cheeks and tip of her nose at the closeness of the crowd

We had been invited to a karaoke bar by taigen, akemi, and mizus best friend ringo after we had officially become girlfriends after months of dating and even more pining and flirting (though the flirting was more you while mizu did the blushing ;])

I grabbed her hand as we made our way to the bar, sending akemi a quick text that we had arrived and were grabbing drinks

"Mizu! Their in room 4!" I yelled over to my girlfriend as she grabbed our drinks, I leaned over grabbing mine from her hand

"Great, are you ready?" She inquired

"Yeah! Cmon let's go!" I said radiating excitement.

We made our way through the crowd mizu grabbed my hand squeezing it, obviously uncomfortable with the overwhelming amount of people, I gently pulled her arm towards me, her front pressed against my back.

"You good baby?" I whisper yelled into her ear to ensure she could hear me

"Yeah, crowds just a little much" She sputtered, flashing me a small smile "let's just get to the room, I think it's upstairs

"Ok" I nodded at her, changing directions and heading towards the stairs, not letting go of her hand

Once we finally made it to the room I knocked to let akemi know we were there

"Y/n! Hey omg it's been to long" She squealed as she hugged me

"Its been 2 days" I laughed

"I know! Way to long" She said back with a giggle at the end as she moved over to hug mizu

"Oh mizu! Youre gonna love this! Don't worry" akemi said since mizu had always been the shyest of the group so obviously karaoke would send mizu into a spiral, I mean cmon, singing infront of people? Are you crazy? But she had been convinced somehow

As mizu and I followed akemi into the room, taigen was already belting his heart out to an katy perry song, clearly already very tipsy

"HI mizu" ringo smiled brightly at his bsf

"Hey" She smiled back, moving to sit next to him, dragging you lightly behind her by your intertwined hands

"Mizu! Cmon sing with me!!" Taigen yelled drunkenly at her

"No I'm good" She chuckled nervously, obviously very uncomfortable with the idea of singing katy perry I front of her brand new girlfriend

However that attitude changed the second te alcohol hit her system

2 hours later, 5 drinks in, and at least 17 songs later, mizu had been convinced to start singing, as I was laughing at taigens idiocy with akemi and ringo, mizu and taigen were searching for more songs to do

"The Heather's? Tf is that" taigen slurred, the alcohol had already hit his system awhile ago

"They have heathers?!?!" I practically jumped from my seat, rushing over to where my girl friend and taigen were sitting, pushing taigen away

"Oh my God no way I fucking love them!!" I said towards mizu

"You watched the heathers?" Mizu said, kind of thunderstruck

"Yes!! I used to be the biggest theater kid" I said vibrating with excitement as I looked ta the songs

Mizu just sat there with the biggest doe eyes looking up at me"What?" I laughed as I looked at her adorable shocked expression

"I didn't know you liked them" She mumbled looking away shyly her blush turning a bright red making her palms sweat

"Cmon! Sing with me!" I said as I turned on dead girl walking

We spent the rest of the time belting out lyrics and arguing about the best song/musical, and ofc my favorite was ride the cyclone while mizus was phantom of the opera

Once everyone was all tired out mizu and I headed toward my car

"So.." mizu started, something obviously on her mind

"So..." I said with a giggle bumping her

She let out a small laugh, her blush from earlier returning once more

"I didn't take you as a theater kid" She stumbled out

"No?" I laughed

"No definitely not" She laughed back

"Well aren't I just full of suprises" her blush deepening as I winked at her, throwing my arm around her neck, forcing her down a bit since she was very tall, leaving a few pecks on her cheek, finding it oh so amusing as to watch her blush become deeper and deeper turning her into a tomato

"Alright alright cmon we gotta get home" She stuttered out

"Whatever you say Rudolph" I winked and laughed at her annoyed expression, opening the passenger door for her

We rode home with the ride the cyclone soundtrack on low as I told her all about the plays I did in middle school and high school

"No way you were in a Beetlejuice play you're fucking with me" She said with a laugh

"I'm not!" I giggled at her punching her lightly

"What part?" She said through her laughter

"Lydia deetz!!" I said still laughing along with her

"No way you got a lead part”

“I did!!”

Once we got home and changed into pajamas, I put on beetle juice and we spent the rest of our night cuddled up watching our favs

"Goodnight Rudolph" I mumbled sleepily with a subtle smirk adorning my face

"Goodnight my little theater kid" She said right back

You got tackled by Katie fucking McCabe for the 3rd time in less than an hour. Did u mention that you were back in Ireland on the national squads practice? At this pace, you werent sure you were gonna make it till the fifa women’s in Australia next month.

You pushed yourself of the ground again, both of your knees ripped up with your torn shorts. You brushed the dirt from your legs and looked up at Katie. “Katie, I swear to god, one more time and I’ll hurt you!” You screamed at the top of your lungs. You and Katie never got along very well. Especially now that there were rumors of her cheating on your bestfriend with Foord.

You stood there staring while trying to calm down. You could hear the blood rushing in your ears and your heart was pounding. Ruesha then pointed to her nose signaling that your nose was bleeding. You wiped your nose. Low and behold, there was blood. That was the final straw. Even thought Katie were stronger than you, you were faster than Katie. You looked at the blood on your hands, and decided that you were done. You lunged after her as she started running at 90% capacity. You held on right behind her running comfortably. Katie was slacking and you were still feeling frisky. You ran around the field 3 times before you decided that you were done chasing, so on the last round you tackled her right in front of the team cooler. You tucked her arms under you legs and opened up the cooler, pouring pure ice at her. She screamed as she tried to get away, but you just sat there shaking your head. “You absolute ass” you muttered as you tool some ice and shoved it into her shorts and her sports bra as you got up.

We had all played for the under 16’s and 18’s together but for some reason you couldnt stand her. Her attitude was horrible, she was a terrible friend and she was even worse to Ruesha. The numbers of times that you jad picked Ruesha up because Katie had caused a fight or gotten black out drunk was outrageous. You had told Ruesha multiple times to leave Katie, but she just couldn’t.

Later that day, the group were split into teams. White and green. As soon as you saw Katie being put on the green team, you knew that meant trouble. You rolled your eyes as you turned to Ruesha. “She’s ruthless” yiu said as you rubbed my nose, still in agony. A few weeks prior, she took out my jaw and dislocated it in a match between Arsenal and Chelsea. And the little fucker didn’t even get a red card. “Any questions?” The coach said as she threw white vests on us. You raised my hand as you eyed Katie “What are the rules like?” I asked and the coaches shot me a dumb look. “The regular rules, Y/N. Anywa-“ and you cut her off. “Okay, so the only way for Katie to get carded is if she physically kills someone on the field?” You asked sarcastically. The coach rolled her eyes and told us to get ready.

You got into position with Ruesha behind you. By the look of Katie’s horns you knew you were in for a hell of a game. The game went on and after you had been tackled 3 times, pushed 5 times and kicked twice in my non existent acl; you decided that you had gotten enough. You pushed yourself off the ground and looked at Ruesha. “Be nice, bbg” she said with a concern in her voice. “Mmm” you said back with the fakest smile you had ever flashed someone. Now, you weren’t really planning on doing anything until Katie pushed Ruesha face down in an attack. As Katie rushed past you with the ball, you rushed after and shoved her straight into the ground, pretending to miss the ball as you kicked her arm and then caught up with the ball as you passed it on. Her team was screaming for a card while she was laying flat on the ground, but the coach looked at you and screamed “figure it out” know that it would cause more problems than do good.

Truth is, you loved Ruesha first. No really, you actually did. When you were teenagers, you had something going before McBastard came and swept her off her feet. It had been a turbulent relationship between them since day one, yet Ruesha pretended that everything was fine. You knew that Ruesha was suffering, and lately things had taken a turn for the worse with Caitlin Foord joining McBastard’s team Arsenal.

You ended winning 7-4 over the green team and as you came home, you were immediately fast asleep. You woke up 4 hours later with everything aching, “fucking McCabe” yoy mumbled to myself as you tried to find your phone so you could orientate yourself. “22.48” you mumbled and decided you were gonna go back to sleep. A second later you realised that you had 82 missed calls from Ruesha. Yes, eightytwo.

You were about to call back when you heard banging on your door. “Fuckn hell” You mumbled as it sounded like someone were about to rip the door of its hinges. “This better be important be cau-“ and then you got cut off by ruesha sobbing in the pouring rain with a soaked bag next to her. You used a few seconds to access just to make sure you weren’t sleeping. “Ruesh, what on earth is going on” yoy said as you dragged her inside, but she just sobbed and clung to you like cligwrap. Here we go again you thought to yourself.

She showed you her soaked phone as she sobbed, revealing pictures of Katie and Caitlin at a party with the arsenals a few weeks prior. You pulled her in for a hug, and for the first time; you actually felt bad for her. “Okay, I’m getting soaked as well. How about you put on something dry and I’ll find something hot to eat yeh?” You suggested as she sniffled and shuffled with her bag to the bathroom leaving a trail of water. “Jesus” you mumbled as you realised that all her clothes was probably soaked, so you grabbed a sweatshirt, socks and shorts from my own closet. “Hey, is there a chance I cou-“ she yelled from the bathroom as you opened the door. “Could borrow some clothes? Yes” you said as you threw it towards her. She thanked you, and you went to the kitchen. You didn’t really have any proper comforting foods, so you chucked a frozen pizza in the oven.

Later that evening, you found ourselves sitting in your bed while eating and looking out at the busy life outside. It was Friday, so there were tons of people in the streets. Mostly drunks but also random people pacing the street in the dark. “You see the man with the fedora? He thinks he is Mexican because his father is 1/8 Mexican.” You said and Ruesha laughed while you pointed him out. “And you see the muscle bro with the tiny dog? His girlfriend brought it but now he is stuck with it.” Ruesha laughed again as you smiled. “My turn! She pointed out a girl standing in the corner on her phone outside of the bar. “That girl is only at the bar for the pictures and then she’s going home” she joked, and you laughed. You always laughed at her jokes, both bad and good jokes. Anything to see her smile. You couldn’t resist yourself as you pointed out a girl with the same blonde hair as yours with the same light blue eyes. “And she, she has liked her bestfriend since they were teens but her bestfriend dosent know and is dating a human version of an asshole” you finished, and Ruesha laughed so hard that she was crying. You mentally slapped yourself as you had hoped that she would’ve gotten the hint. Oh well, patience is key.

“So, I’m tired and you woke me up mid nap. I’m gonna sleep now, you can do whatever you want as long as you don’t rip a hole in my wall or rearrange my living room.” You hoked as you yawned. You laid down and Ruesha followed after.

“Y/N?”

“Mmm”

“Can I share something”

“Mmmm”

“I think it’s over for real this time.”

“You’ll get through it.”

“And what if I don’t”

You grabbed her hand, and you drifted off to sleep.

It didn't really matter, they were gonna die anyway. You then mumbled to yourself in irritation, noticing you missed a shot to that cannibalistic grandma you hate.

"Damn hag...Also- to whoever said that, your mom's a hoe 😌" They said, instantly piercing a bullet into the exact person who said that. His body fell from a roof with a splat, with some of the blood landing on Mox's face.

"YEAH, THATS THE SPIRIT (Y/N)!!!" Blitzo yelled as he strategically headshot 10 people in a row. He threw a few more bags of ammo at you, to which you caught, as he cackled and crankled at the chaos surrounding this part of the city.

A few hours later, the 2 imps and the demon finally started their treck on home. that is if you can count shaking in a petrified way while being carried by your boss as walking.

Moxie started to theorize on why you had such a change in behavior, especially one like this! Did you have stinkmeaner's essence within you? were you perhaps a relative of the hateful spirit??? Have you unlocked something truly destructive to this hell???

And somehow you figured out how to speak with emojis? What the hell!!? That's a theory for another day.

Because that's just a theory. He couldn't prove anything even if he wanted to- Heck, Lucifer himself wouldn't even believe his words!

I am still alive lol but I have had heaps of work to do lately and been really busy 😔 I have been saving reading fanfic to the end of the week when I have time

I’ve read all the post apocalyptic head cannons and now I can’t stop thinking about it. I think that as scary as it would be to have to try and survive all the time and fight zombies, being with hobie would make it so much better. I’m imagining finding things like books or records in abandoned shops and hanging out on the roof of abandoned buildings (after making sure there r no zombies). Having a house boat would be such an advantage to survival bc the zombies would be able to get across if the boat was parked a bit out onto the water. AND RESCUING NON ZOMBIFIED ANIMALS AND TAKING CARE OF THEM AND HAVING THEM AS PETS ALJDKAKA

Jackalope: “Welcome to the Internet” by Bo Burnham. Do I need to explain?

Es: “Saint Bernard” by Lincoln although I thought “Autoheart” by Sailor Song fit them as well (more so Es singing it to Kotoko/us). At this point, the poor kid’s exhausted and straining under the pressure and guilt so I think “Saint Bernard” fits them rather well.

Haruka: Hmmm. This one's tough. I'm gonna have to go with “I’ll Be Good” by Jaymes Young. It’s mournful and pleading and I think if he had been voted guilty in Trial One, his second trial song would have vibes of “I’m bad but I want to be better” instead of “I’ll be bad to be better,” that All-Knowing, All-Agony gives me. As a runner up, "Not While I'm Around," from the Sweeney Todd: Demon Barber of Fleet Street musical. I can just picture him singing it.

Yuno: “Bring on the Men” from the Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde musical. It’s fun, full of quips and innuendos, and definitely embraces her take on sex work.

Fuuta: “Dance, Dance” by Fall Out Boy. I feel like this fits his vibe.

Muu: “We R Who We R” by Kesha. Love her, hate her, you gotta admit that Muu wants to embody this IDGAF confidence, and I will indulge her with this song (where's the yellow paint can? I liked using it for Muu).

Shidou: “The Night We Met” by Lord Huron. It just sounds very mournful and fits his longing to see his loved ones again.

Mahiru: “E.T.” by Katy Perry, specifically the one without Kanye West because it vibes better with her. It's less... let's say Katy Perry is less direct about what she wants from her alien, and I feel like Mahiru could barely spit out an innuendo because of her dedication to her 'good girl' image.

Kazui: I suppose “False Confidence” by Noah Kahan would be a good fit. The emphasis on trying to fake it till you make it and wishing to go back to when you were young and before you began faking your way through life. That said, "The Good in Me" by Jon Bellion was a close second.

Amane: Another tough one. Perhaps "Miss Independent” by Ne-Yo. I had a song on here that didn’t really fit her and then I heard this song on the radio and went, “No, that’s the one.” Something fun and light but still fits her idealized self.

Mikoto: “LA Devotee” by Panic! At the Disco. Like Fuuta, it just fits his vibe. That said, I feel like John is scream-singing "Fight Back" by NEFFEX at him.

Kotoko: “Interlude IV” by Zach Callison. I can only assume this is what her two brain cells discussed during the break between the first and second trials. It’s menacing but fits so well.

21.) Do you have any similarities with them/relate to them?

Hmmm. It'll probably be shorter if I write a paragraph rather than breaking it up by character. I suppose the two I relate the most to would be Es and Yuno, but I relate a startling amount to Shidou, if I’m being honest. Let me explain the Shidou thing first since I know that he is heavily disliked and how I relate to him is dependent on how I view his crime.

My impression of Shidou is that he was a doctor who looked at the forest rather than the trees. At the very least, he pushed for the family members of patients who were brain-dead to take them off life support. I think he also pushed for patients to undergo risky surgeries in hopes that it would treat them when their current treatment failed. Shidou never thought beyond treating the physical ailment, and it wasn’t until his wife and children were in the car accident where he was put in the same position that Shidou fully understood the emotional weight of what he asked his patients and their families to do. With that, he began to suffocate under his own feelings of guilt and inadequacy (because if he couldn’t save his family, what is his worth?), and his push for the death penalty and claims about being irredeemable were his own attempts at trying to die so he can be with his family again. It was only when Kotoko attacked, that his savior complex was revived and he was given purpose again. I fully expect him to try and attack Kotoko (“remove that fang” anyone?) and push for the death penalty again during the third trial. Now, I know you’re thinking, wtf, how can you relate to this man?

Well, for starters, if the people I loved most in this world were violently ripped away from me while I stood helplessly by, I’d blame myself and look for reasons as to why I’m the worst and deserve death. Also, I have a lot of family who are nurses, and stories about dickhead doctors and the realities of illness, injuries, and treatments were common enough dinner conversations that hearing about, reading, and listening to Shidou act like a martyr makes me think, “Yeah, professional hazard,” not “what a scum ball.” To me, Shidou is the equivalent of a pothole in the street. I might startle if I fall into him but in all likelihood, I’ll trip, grumble, and move on. There’s also the part where I think, if I was a worse person, I’d probably be more like Shidou. He reminds me of what I could be if I was more arrogant, more willing to sacrifice in the name of the bigger picture.

But onto happier topics, I like to think I’m able to relate to Es. They have a strong sense of morality, integrity, and responsibility when it comes to their work. I like to think I keep to those three values when faced with an unknown or conflict. It’s admirable how they try to stay true to those values despite Milgram’s mental/physical interference when it comes to Es trying to remember or establish a sense of personhood separate of the organization’s will. With Yuno, I like to think I can read the room, albeit I’m probably on par with Muu, not Yuno when it comes to that. Although, I do understand her frustration with trying to establish agency when others try to limit it, and admire how willing she is to put herself out there to find herself. Actually, now that I write this down, I admire Yuno more than relate to her. I guess I’m Shidou and Es. Sorry y’all.

As a bonus, Jackalope. If I had to pick anything to relate to, I would certainly pick his love of the drama and chaos that goes on in Milgram. I definitely share his amusement for the chaos. As much as I enjoy all the prisoners (including Es in that), with the caveat of some more than others, I get a bit of a kick out of trying to use Jackalope’s taunts and jabs to predict what will happen next. If Es is the audience surrogate, then Jackalope is an author insert. He’s as enjoyable as he is smarmy, and I enjoy a battle of the wits. I’d probably lose against Jackalope in that battle, but hey, I’d lose with a shit-eating grin on my face. Jackalope definitely knows more than he lets on and while I don’t think he’s ever lied outright with how he prefers to dodge questions and give half-answers, he is using that to keep the upper hand and let things unfold. I don’t think I’m sadistic, but he is a fun enemy to face.

Somewhere off the coast of Brindleton, 1917. 

  The mere thought of Windenburg was enough to make Paul sick. He had made up his mind as soon as he returned to the townhouse, barren of any life it was once full of.

  So he got to writing letters. 

  Letters to his grieving family, who he hoped to soon see more of. 

  Letters to Brindleton’s newest lighthouse keeper, inquiring if anyone had moved into the O’Sullivan house since Eamon had passed away. 

  And letters to an old friend, wondering if she would even respond to his strange request. 

  But luckily, Paul’s letters, and prayers, were answered. 

  His mother and father were elated for his return, making all the necessary preparations for their son and grandchildren’s arrival. 

  The lighthouse keeper denied any knowledge of occupancy in the old house. He himself had taken up shack in the lighthouse, instead. 

  And for some strange reason, his old friend wrote him back. And told him that the house was his, if he desired. 

  Katie wrote only the most formal of letters, and signed it Miss O’Sullivan, as all the proper governesses did. But through her scholarly prose, Paul could sense the most subtle bit of excitement in his friend’s letter, welcoming him back into his old life with open arms.
