Text
Crowley and Aziraphale lives in the south downs. Every day they bath togheter, nothing weird. Its full of pink bubbles and they make silly hairstyles and beards out of it. Thats how s2 ended. You cant convince me otherwise.

a letter from crowley, post s2 (which I haven't watched)
Disclaimer from your beloved fandom mascot: I haven't watched season 2, or really even the kiss scene, just parts of it like flashes from edits, and I figured that Aziraphale gets an offer to go with Crowley to heaven and Crowley doesn't accept it. So I could be entirely wrong about the tone of what happened and how the season actually ends and their feelings regarding it. But that's never stopped me before and it won't now, so have this letter.
Angel
Aziraphale
Dear Aziraphale,
I'm throwing this into the rubbish bin as soon as I'm done writing it, just so you know. I have a feeling it's going to go just horribly sentimental, and I don't do sentimental, I'm a demon, for heaven's hell's oh for something's sake. I don't do nice.
I tried to, though, for you. I really did try this is a stupid exercise why am I writing this, I'm beginning to remind myself of a lady in what was it? 1790, or nearish, she was bloody besotted with a gentleman, wrote letters to him every night and never posted them. Could have told her he didn't fancy women, but that's not really my area, is it, I'm meant to cause chaos and. I'm rambling.
Look. Angel. Aziraphale. That kiss What we did What I did That kiss. That wasn't how I meant it to go. Not that I'd been imagining it before. Yes I'm bloody lying, what did you expect?
I was desperate. And I knew I'd lost you the second you started going on about talking about blabbering about you said you'd accepted their offer. It was a foolish attempt to make you stay. But I keep being a fool, don't I, I keep being a bloody fool and only when it comes to you, you insufferable and I don't know what to do anymore, alright?
I'm sure you had your reasons and I'm sure they were very noble and very, uh, very virtuous and sensible. Why else would you just throw away But if you didn't, if they've tricked you again, I hate myself for knowing that even after everything I'd storm heaven the second you asked.
That's all. Just thought I'd write that down. You idiot.
I really am throwing this away. But I'll sign it off anyway.
Yours, Crowley
Anthony J Crowley

Summary:
The Second Coming has been averted. Crowley and Aziraphale are finally together and on the same side. And the Whickber Street Shopkeepers and Traders Association thinks they could take their bliss somewhere else. Or at least the storms associated with it.
------------- Nina, head conspirator of Whickber Street, was, against her will, a woman on a mission. To boldly take a demon where no one had taken him before.
Shopping.
----------
This fic was cowritten with @theonewiththeshippinggoogles and illustrated by @spookysexy. It was a wild journey to write it, and I hope you like it as much as we loved working on it!

It felt weird, standing in front of the familiar West End building and looking at posters of plays that were on, which he had not bothered to look up beforehand. Normally, this was Aziraphale’s part. The whole shebang was Aziraphale’s part, really, calling him up and talking about this play he wanted to see and oh the reviews were wonderful and he’d known this or that playwright, do you remember Crowley, back in– and then Crowley, annoyed at first but always willing in the end, would cave in, preparing to complain all the way through from dinner to nightcap.
Crowley didn’t even want to go in anymore.
He hadn’t done anything fun, any of the things they’d always done together, in those last weeks he had spent… alone on earth. Alone. Without the angel, the eternal adversary turned sort-of-foe turned co-conspirator turned accomplice turned partner in crime turned partner turned friend turned—-—. He’d never been alone on earth before, he realized with a sad sort of surrender. It had always been them, before they even were a them. From the very beginning. Even when he’d felt truly and utterly alone (and confused, and bitter, and sad), the first few millenia mostly, he’d always known Aziraphale was somewhere out there. This was different. He was all alone.
Even if the angel would show up. He half hoped and half feared. (Half agony, half hope. Where’d he read that recent– oh right.)
Because this time, surely, he would have to tell him to never show his face again.
It hurt too much, that face. That ever-same, loathsome, happy, pure, joyful face. That bastard face that he loved more than he was willing to admit, even now and especially now.
Show of the Week: Crazy for You, announced the billboard. Was this divine or hellish irony? Yeah, definitely not that one. His eyes moved onwards and landed on Death Note–The Musical. That sounded better. Death. Destruction. People dying to music. Just right. He hoped the note of death would play loud and clear for the angel to hear. Relationship, dead. Hope, dead. Note, dead. Good. That one.
Trying not to remember all the times they’d walked in together, Crowley made his way into the lyric theatre.
Almost immediately after the lights had dimmed, a latecomer sat down beside him.
“Did you find out anything?” the man-who-turned-out-to-be-Aziraphale asked. Strictly business, huh.
“This is not how this works, Aziraphale.” This time, Crowley’s voice was truly cold. Achievement unlocked. Hating the Angel Who Had Left Him, +1. That brought the score to– 0. There was no score. He wished there was.

Crowley protects the books
If you had been standing in a particular street in Soho, looking at the doors of a particular bookshop for long enough on one particular morning in our story, you'd probably be left wondering what was wrong with the customers coming out of the shop. They all (in fairness, not many) would suddenly stop in their tracks, look around themselves in bewilderment, stare for a moment at the books they were holding in their hands and then go back into the bookshop, only to reappear a minute later holding no book at all.
If you had been curious enough to look around for possible causes of this bizarre behaviour, your gaze might, or might not, have fallen on a particular black classic car parked outside the bookshop. Had you looked for signs of life inside the car (a 1926 Bentley), you might have spotted a shape collapsed on the steering wheel, made of red hair and black clothes. The face belonging to the red hair and black clothes bore signs of misery, boredom and hope. That's how the demon Crowley had got in the habit of spending his days, on that particular morning in that particular street in Soho as we caught up with him: miracleing away would-be customers of the establishment known as A. Z. Fell & Co. What brought the demon Crowley there were the aforementioned misery, boredom and hope together with a rather unhealthy pull toward being set on fire.

the way some people reacted to David Jenkins and Neil Gaiman saying their shows would only have 3 seasons is so funny because I saw so many feeling devastated while I am so relieved and relaxed about it. don’t get me wrong I love getting more content with the characters I love but… normalize cohesive storytelling. normalize ENDINGS. do you REALLY want another s*pernatural????

Crowley woke up tied up to a chair in a white and boring room. Then again, all the rooms in Heaven were white and boring, so that didn’t help him reorient himself. The kick in the head he’d received wasn’t helping him either.
“So, it seems we have a stowaway.” Michael said with a smile, and reached to the plane where his wings were stored to pluck some feathers. “I should thank our new friend. We found her sneaking around and she sold you out.”
“Yeah, sorry ‘bout that, the buffet here is far better, I’ve been told. I had to come try it for myself.”
That earned him another plucking. He wondered if he'd look like a naked chicken once this was over.
“Isn’t he lovely?” Uriel said from behind him in a deceptively sweet tone. Suddenly, a fist impacted his cheek and he fell sideways to the floor, still tied up to the chair. Had it been just a hit to his body, it wouldn’t have stung that much, but she had charged it with holy energy. He could feel the area wither and blacken as his real form was burned up. “Don’t test us.”
He tried to turn and see her, but she was behind him again. He’d have to miracle a pair of new teeth, he decided, after making a fast sweep on his mouth with his snake tongue. He spit some blood but kept his innocent expression. “Woud’ never dream of that.”
Michael pressed painfully on his fingers with their heel, and he felt the flesh give up and tear at that. "Where is the Metatron?"
"Hopefully, as far from me as possible."

These two idiots kill me because what Crowley is hearing from Aziraphale is, “I am able to look past your demonic nature because I love you so much, but if there was a way, I would change that part of you” and what Crowley wants to hear is, “I look at all of you and I love all of you”
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Meanwhile Aziraphale’s actually saying, “I love every version of you that I’ve known, but I miss the smile you had when I met you and I would give anything to bring that joy back”
