Another upcoming BaCC pic I had to post separately because it's easily one of my favorites, if not the most favorite pic I took this rotation. And I took, like, a lot (over 40 photosets!)

Big part of the reason why I'm so partial to this one is that it was a sort-of collab. The mega-talented @gphoenixsims came to my rescue and did the hard job of adding flow and movement to the sims' hairs, giving the pic that extra something it was lacking. (What, you thought I drew all that fabulous hair fluttering about in the wind? Think again! 🤣)

Let me tell you though, editing this pic after Gphoenix sent it back to me was a trip and a half. G went above and beyond and edited both the boys' hairs as well as some clipping on Phillip's boot, but there was still some other fine-tuning to be done on the pic. Long story short, me pulling the pic into Photoshop after G had already worked her magic on it felt a lot like this:

I don't know who the celebrity is supposed to be, but in the results, I also had Marilyn Monroe, Lana Del Rey, Emma Watson and Audrey Hepburn (and probably others that I didn't recognize so they don't count). So it could be worse.

The outfit I would totally wear. Except the tights. I hate tights, gimme leggings. And I hope that turtleneck is not made out of wool. Also, the skirt looks uncomfortably short. But I love the oversized leather jacket and the boots (if they are low-heeled). Colors are good too. If I wear make-up.

The quote fits, particularly right now.

And the aesthetics fit 100%. Coffee and a book. And sugar. White sheets and elegant tableware. Yes sir.

THE LINDASIMS2 RESEARCH AND EXPERIMENTATION: PART SEVEN

This is (an attempt) at a list of EVERY SINGLE CORRUPTED FILE from Lindasims2's April 2021 'joke', as requested by @gphoenixsims. If I've missed anything, please LMK--I went through as many files as I could but obviously I'm not perfect.

The reuploaded files from these images were originally reuploaded here (by nomoresims2patreon) and have also been reuploaded to SimFileShare here under the March 2021 folder, so make sure you don't have CC from either of these sources!

Before you ask, yes, both the Chanella and Lindasims archives contain corrupted CC, as they're both by Linda.

If a folder is underlined in red, it contains a hidden PT 19/slur-name-we-will-not-use.

Yep, everything is invisible. boolprop reparseshaders true doesn't really help, either (except sometimes different things are invisible).

So...I've joined the Linux gang.

So far, I loaded my medieval hood aaaand...no pink flashing! No transparent houses or decoration from the pink flashing fix. It's awesome.

I've loaded a couple of community lots, too. No pink flashing, no crashes.

Not Another College Mod: One Semester per Year University

I made a mod that limits university years to one semester. After completing the first semester of each year, Sims will just jump to the next year. Sims that are currently in the second semester when the mod is installed will finish that semester and then proceed to the first (and only) semester of the following year.

Pros:

Course requirements get harder each year, as maxis intended.

Sims can complete each year of University

College lasts 12 days, Sims may stay an additional 3 days after graduation - that's pretty much two Simweeks, which I decided is compatible with my rotational gameplay (one week in non-college households = two semesters in college households). This imho works well with Maxis ages, so the other Sims don't grow too old while young adults are in College.

Compatible with Faster University Education mod

Cons:

The second semester of each year is still visible, so don't get confused

Not compatible with Harder Grades - Term Paper Required, Three Year University Courses and Semester Changes (but can be made compatible with the former two, see below) or any mod that changes the BHAV (0x200C 'Function - Next Semester') in the Major semi-globals (group 0x7F17E3A4)

The change I made was very simple, you can edit any college mod of your choice to merge it with the one semester college mod.

Open the college mod of your choice (Function - Next Semester) with SimPE, find the line [prim 0x0002] Expression (My person data 0x00AD (kEP1 - Semester Info Flags) Flag Set? flag# Const 0x2003:0x04 ("Good Completed?" Value: 0x0005)) copy the value in true target and paste it to false target.

Sims No Filter Challenge

Rules: take a picture of the sim that’s normally associated with your blog (your legacy founder/lead character in your story etc.), now take away all their cc (except their hair, eyebrows, and skin color), then do a before and after picture.

Well, this was fun. XD As tagged by @thepathofnevermore, I dragged out the girls of my tumblrs, Rose from the VA Comic and Thea, my current RP girl. Not too bad, but it’s noticeable when I put my images through photoshop, to work out the kinks and all that. They are sort of bland even with tons of CC anyway lol
