The way decepticons are portrayed in the Japanese shows

Victory is best example off the top of my head at the moment but I know that there are other shows where the cons are portrayed as sympathetic characters or when they show that they do care for one another to some extent. I also really like that they get to have some fun silly moments too.

I love that they are always first and foremost portrayed as people

Okay I‘m going off track again and going back to general character stuff I adore

BUT

Characters that say 'i love you' to each other. In any context really - it can range from being platonic to more so like family to god knows what, but just saying that they love each other.

Give me characters that have been through hell and back together, fought with and for each other - let them be hurt and recognise it, let them suffer and heal and recognise how much they appreciate each other. That no matter what the universe tries, it will never separate the adoration and loyalty and love they have for each other.

Give me characters that have a long history with each other, liven through numerous of experiences in their own and then together. Give me them always finding back to each other as if the universe knows that they belong to each other in ways that can’t be described by simple made up words. That they show their love for each other in so many more ways than just words.

Give me characters that are always loud and rough and energetic around others, but when it‘s just the two of them everything seems so much more relaxing, so calming and so peaceful. Give me them realising that with each other they don’t have to always give 100% and they can allow themselves to rest and doze off every once in a while, to reset themselves.

Give me characters that are right for and with each other, but it’s the wrong time. It’s a time that wasn’t meant for them yet. Yet they know they‘ll always find each other again and again, because nothing can break up the bond formed by the love they’ve grown over years and multiple lifetimes.
