Would you post your fake injury work for us? That all sounds incredibly cool! Movies, especially horror movies, used to live and die by their effects and it's radical to know they're still teaching students how to do it.

I did some digging and found as many as I could, from the studio!! The photos are kinda low quality because they’re a few phones old- I didn’t wanna post any showing my face, or ones of my peers, so unfortunately I don’t have any frost bite, corpsing, black eye, or zombie photos ; ; (I also stuck in one theatreish eye thing I did on my hand through lockdown sdhf)

Warnings!!: Realistic depictions of injuries: A severed finger, several stages of burns, cuts, bruising, general nastiness, view at your own risk!

i'm writing a self-indulgent rollo fic and i only intended for it to be something short and simple without any intricate symbolism, but now i'm looking up bible verses regarding obsession and religious imagery and seeing which french sweet i can compare rollo and reader's relationship to......

satorika disembowelment scene is a literal take on the metaphor described in the beginning of minagoroshi, because it's the allegory of satoko taking the pain she's been feeling all this time and reaching into rika and pulling her insides out to make her feel it too. that's basically the type of metaphor satoko would use to express the torture her love for rika has made her feel, so she's cutting open her torso and pulling out her intestines before intimately embracing her and sobbing the feelings she's been circling around all this time by conveying them through hidden messages in the form of murders, with the hope that inflicting this pain on rika would finally make her capable of understanding her, as her feelings of love, hatred, anger and atonement all mix together in a very visceral way in every sense of the word.

oh fuck yeah, I got to write Jax having a complete mental breakdown today and it got very scary and gory. it was so cathartic.

I think it’s really cool so I’m gonna post it here, but I’m gonna put it under a cut bc it’s pretty brutal physical violence that elicits some gross imagery but that’s the point :)

(may post the whole thing when it’s done; it’s very cool and dark and Panathir-centric)

context: they had a very disturbing conversation with Panathir that really shook up their entire worldview, and disturbed them so badly they straight up dissociated for like two weeks, except for this one moment in the middle while traveling with their three other companions

Have some korekiyo posting. Misplaced angst, sillies based on a Pinterest thing that I lost, and a bunch of Tenkiyo doodles.

Kiyo is a scholar, a romantic, a creepy cryptic person who finds interest in all. Tenko punches and yells and she’s amazing at Neo Aikido and she expresses her emotions in full. They’re both also extremely silly. Kiyo likes to think they’re very serious but Tenko makes them a giggly mess. Tenko refuses to take a cryptic weirdo like Kiyo seriously but finds herself crying into their arms after a particularly bad day, allowing them to pet her knotted hair and hold her steady.
