Captain Eclipse reference from my Nautilus au! I haven’t said anything about it, so any asks are greatly appreciated!

Some quick facts about Eclipse as introduction:

He is, of course, the Captain of the an underwater 'submarine' called the Starfall (the name may be subject to change later)

His 'crew' consists of staffbots/ automatons that flee from human servitude in search of refuge

Eclipse had two companions - they are no longer part of his crew.

He only built part of the Starfall himself

This isn't his original design, he looked much different before embarking the Starfall

(the point is above is the reason why his legs aren't proportional - this is of some significance)

He comes off as an intensely private individual, but is actually very sociable with close company - not that he's had any as of recent.

He does not know what to think of the newest addition to the crew.

I thiiiiink I can decipher the "white male pookie" anon? It's rancid, though. Option one: your Star Wars post rubbed up against a discourse leviathan. It goes like this: There are a faction of fans who liked the Rian Johnson movie, but criticize its sequels for basically abandoning a lot of the plot hooks and themes it laid out. Then there are a faction of fans who prefer the sequels, because they focused on the popular Rey/Kylo Ren ship (Reylo). The ship itself is a controversial topic. One of its worst defenses is "a lot of women like it; therefore, criticizing it and/or criticizing sequels is misogynist and women-hating". The anon is doing some absurd leaps in logic. sparrowlucero liked the Rian Johnson movie -> sparrowlucero disliked the sequels -> sparrowlucero opposes reylo -> sparrowlucero hates women and loves the white male director (rian johnson) The only other idea I have is that they're resurrecting the old Steven Moffat nonsense, but it boils down to the same thing. it's equating 'fandom' with 'women' and saying that by disagreeing with fandom takes, you're siding with the director over women. Either way, the anon's probably not worth your time.

saint seiya/owl house au an au that might go nowhere

luz is a runaway who became a saint, a warrior who wear armor called "cloth" that is based on the 88 constellations who serve their titan. luz has become the ophiuchus saint, the snake bearer. she tries to navigate this new world as it goes on a brink of a civil war with her new mentor aquila eda (who i have not drawn yet sorry) and king, a weird little kid that eda also found who really wants to be a saint

meanwhile a masked man is going around killing saints and destroying their cloth.

this is such a dumb but self indulgent au. i wish i could ramble about it more but i also think i need to draw at least some of the characters first in order for it to make sense
