this may be too broad of an ask so sorry but i'm just getting into the sims 2 and want to recreate vtmb locations as well + make the game look more grungy and "alpha" i guess sims 4 players would call it. can you point me in the right direction in terms of your favorite mods or creators? thank you. also i am polish-american and your presence is so so welcome and your builds are amazing

Aviolina made some Silent Hill stuff worth checking out kativip has some good cc packs that i use a lot (S.T.A.L.K.E.R., Metro converted objects) Pixelhate has some nice Fallout convertions and more Adele got beautiful things (liam buid set my beloved)

also, speaking of vtmb, my dear anon, we have been blessed by Yolartut who gave us these (scroll down a bit), just got them, beautiful, i'm mad at myself for only just now downloading them heh, now i want to recreate the whole chinatown part of vtmb

damn, wish there were more convertions from this game... (and half life, source engine stuff + the sims 2 is like a match made in heaven)

oh, and a lot of my cc tbh... comes from builds of other simmers xD i like to download any build that tickles my interest and analise how others design and decorate. later i end up with a bunch of cc in my build/buy catalog of unknown origin (don't really recommand doing this tho, this way i got some really nice stuff, but the mess and the amount of stuff i would later end up deleting, oh god)

Appearance: A young trans man with years of anger in his golden eyes and wild, messy hair. Rather than having human ears, Judas has coyote ears, along with a tail, claws, and even teeth. He's often dressed in grungy, dilapidated clothing, along with bloody bandages over his chest and lower torso, leaving his sternum exposed.

Nationality: Anglo-American

Alignment: Neutral-to-Chaotic Evil (MtG: Black/Red/Blue)

Powers: High agility, keen senses, parkour, mimickry

Fighting styles: Street brawling, improvised weapons, natural weapons

Notes:

-Judas' dad is now an escaped experiment (possibly pre-Blanka?) that had animal--specifically coyote-- DNA spliced into his genes. When he escaped, he joined the USAF, where he became known for his brutality in combat. -After having sired Judas, and seeing the coyote DNA present itself in Judas, he promptly got a vasectomy. This also caused a nasty divorce that left a bitter taste in Adam's mouth. -Judas was never enough for Adam, even when he did his best, because Judas reminded Adam of his past trauma and (what he viewed as) personal failures. Judas never had enough enrichment as a kid, leading to punishment because of destructive behaviors, which lead to even less enrichment… etc. Vicious cycle. -School wasn't much better. No one wanted to play with or even talk to Judas because of his appearance, and meaner-spirited kids would try to pull his ears or tail, leading to Judas getting violent with them, but usually one bite was enough. It was also enough for him to get expelled from multiple schools. He tried his best to fit in and behave like A Normal Person, but because of his animal nature, he never could fully fit in. -He never graduated. Adam kicked him out once Judas let slip that he wasn't even a daughter, but a son, and that was the straw that broke the camel's back for Adam. Judas would be 15 or 16, and had to hitchhike to Metro City from a suburb that was about 20 miles from it. -Judas was exceptionally violent, but instead of relying on improvised weaponry, he relied on what he was given: sharp claws and fangs and years of pent-up aggression. He basically became a local cryptid/urban legend, giving rise to the rule of "if you hear something that sounds like a human trying to be a coyote, leave the area, but do not run." -I'm not sure who picks up Judas and brings him to Shadaloo, but when he is found, he's thin as a rail and almost indistinguishable from a normal human (in his Story Mode costume). The only tells are his claws, and those eyes…

I had an incredibly vivid dream last night that a new Metro game was suddenly released and it was about a bunch of alien factions in a massive intergalactic war coming to earth where they made of clone of Artyom in their bid to claim postapocalyptic. Gameplay wise you chose a faction and fought under your chosen flag in grungy ruined subways against weird space shit with alien weapons. It was so tacked on and against the themes of the series that I woke up and was halfway through writing a bitchy post about it when I realized it had been a fake product conjured by my own brain. Needless to say I'm steamed about it and have been in a bad mood all day.
