@livmadart fun Detective Conan AU ideas and drawings inspired me to share my own AU idea.

This AU is called - The Guardiens Of Beika Where Conan and the Detective Boys become the new guardians of the veil, and use their magic powers to fight against the Black Organization. (More information about the AU is underneath the line. Feel free to say what you think of my AU in the comments or reblog.)

AU Storyline; One of Shinichi's ancestors was the previous keeper of the Heart. After that ancestor died, the Heart became a family heirloom that has been past down to the eldest Kudo child on their 16th birthday. Both the Heart's origin and magical powers remained hidden from the Kudo family, until the day Shinichi went to Tropical Land. That same day, Ayumi, Genta, and Mitsuhiko had to sneak back into Tropical Land when they discovered Genta accidentally left his phone in one of the park's bathrooms. This leads the children to witness the men in black force-feeding Shinichi the Apoptoxin drug, and watching Shinichi's body shrink. After helping Shinichi escape from the park's security guards, the Heart's power awakens and the spirit of Xin Jing appears before them. Xin Jing explains that the Heart had forseen the many difficult battles that awaited Shinichi, and decided to grant him it's power. The Heart also granted it's powers to Ayumi, Genta, and Mitsuhiko after witnessing their courage and kindness when helping Shinichi. At first, Conan didn't believe in the Heart's magic, nor did he want the others to be involved in his fight against the Black Organization. But Conan changed his mind after they all transformed and used their powers for the first time when saving the kidnapped CEO's daughter. They soon become famously known throughout Beika as "The Guardiens". Later on in the story, after solving the murder of Professor Masami Hirota, Haibara is chosen by the Heart to be the fifth (and final) guardian. Haibara didn't want to accept the Heart's power at first, mainly because of her background with the organization that she didn't think she deserved to be a guardian. It wasn't until the old blue castle investigation case that Haibara accepts her guardian powers in order to save Conan, Genta, and Mitsuhiko after they were kidnapped.

When they transform into their guardian forms, the Heart not only gives them teenage bodies, but also changes their appearance (such as different hairstyles and color), and makes it so their fingerprints and DNA can't be identified. They also gave themselves codenames based off their elemental power.

The groups guardian forms (including they're hairstyles and color), powers, & codenames; [the guardians' outfits were made on the online character creator game "Witch Guardian Maker v2". They didn't have a male body or outfits options on the game, but I tried making the boys' outfits look less girly]

Conan aka Shinichi [codename: Rakurai] - Quintessence/Keeper of the Heart

Haibara [codename: Scarlet] - Fire

Ayumi [codename: Aqua] - Water

Mitsuhiko [codename: Tenkū] - Air

Genta (codename: Terra) - Earth

Since Ayumi, Genta, and Mitsuhiko knows Conan's true identity, they are with Conan more offen and get involved in cases way more then in canon. Such as being there when Conan first met Heiji.

The group still solve cases as the "Detective Boys", but with more dangerous cases or sometimes cases involving the Black Organization, they transform and use their guardian powers.

In the AU, the police aren't entirely sure if the Guardiens can be trusted, and has even opened an investigation on the Guardiens' true identities. But during dangerous situations, some officers and investigators (such as Sato and Takagi) are willing to work together with the Guardiens.

The FBI and Public Security Bureau are also wary of the Guardiens, but are more willing to work with them in their fight against the Black Organization, and doesn't investigate the Guardiens' true identities.

At the beginning, Agasa didn't know about the Detective Boys being The Guardiens. It wasn't until they transformed and used their powers to capture Agasa and Shinichi's parents after they "kidnapped" the group.

After learning about the Detective Boys' powers and the Heart of Kandrakar. Shinichi's father, Yusaku Kudo, began researching on the Heart's origin.

In this AU, Heiji first figured out the Detective Boys were the Guardiens before figuring out that Conan was Shinichi. Heiji kept quiet about knowing the Detective Boys' secret until he found out Conan's other secret.

Kaitou Kid also learns the Detective Boys' secret. Like in canon, The Detective Boys first encounter Kaitou Kid on top of the Haido City Hotel's rooftop. Ayumi, Genta, and Mitsuhiko (in their guardian forms) later try to help Conan capture Kaitou Kid during the Suzuki family's party, but failed. It was then that Kaitou Kid started suspecting that Conan and the Guardiens had a connection to each other. Kid didn't figure it out though until the events of "The Last Wizard of the Century".

FBI agent, Shuichi Akai, starts to suspect the true identities of the Guardiens shortly after faking his death, but doesn't saying anything or try confirming his suspensions.

Vermouth suspects that the Guardiens are working with the FBI, but hasn't figured out the Guardiens' true identities. And since she doesn't have any proof of the Guardiens' involvement, Vermouth decides not to tell the other members about her suspensions.

Yes I have. Multiple times. It is one of those films I hold close to my heart, thanks to its animation, character designs, aesthetic etc.

It is also partially the reason why I got interested in animation, concept art and anything relating to visual art.

It's pretty clear that during most of Darcy's conversations with Lizzie there's a smile on his face. I wanted to know what it means, so i searched for an analysis and i found disappointing intrepretations one of them supposing even that those smiles are fake or that they were out of comtempt or mockery. I was pretty bitter because i thought they were happy smiles. Then i remembered that later on the book, Elizabeth compares those smiles to the one on the portrait, the housekeeper said it was taken during his father's lifetime. Back when Mr Darcy's father was alive, he wasn't his sister's co-guardien, an orphan, the master of Pemberly, nor a landlord, he was a man of considerably less responsibilities back then. So those smiles he gives Elizabeth are because he feels at ease and more free with her as if those burdens are lifted of his shoulders. But like Bingley, i don't have much trust in my intrepretations, so I need to know your opinions on this.

I'm not sure how burdened Mr. Darcy feels by his responsibilities, to me he seems quite comfortable with them, but I do think he's giving Elizabeth a real smile because of the reason you cite: it's the same as his portrait smile. Now Elizabeth may have interpreted his smile as sarcastic, mocking, or fake, but she realizes that it wasn't when she visits Pemberley. We as readers shouldn't make the same mistakes as Elizabeth, we know better!

I have several posts about Darcy smiling and @firawren has a great graph of all the smiles from all the Austen heroes, including Darcy who smiles genuinely quite a few times.

Could you give thoughts on this analysis I made for Viper, the false sandwing dragonet of destiny?

Here we see her blame a innocent nightwing for taking her away from her tribe and the ToP, whilst she hated Fatespeaker- she wasn't the right one to be blamed for, instead in the subtext.

We can point to the blame being pinned on Morrowseer and Blister who were responsible for forcibly taking her from her camp, her tribe and by extension her parents, once again, we can truly see why and how she acts the way she acts now is because she misses her parents, her tribe and her camp.

Why does she miss this, you may ask? Well it's simply because Morrowseer and Blister stole that life from her, made her be a part of something she didn't consent to, and by the end, she died a painful death.

Knowing her parents and tribe would lose a sandwing due to Blister and Morrowseer's meddling in a fake prophecy that ruined so many lives and claimed the lives of a lot more.

Viper is quite the sad character when you think about it, she was angry and bitter because she was put in a shitty situation, quite like Tsunami in fact. I wonder if her parenrs or legal guardiens ever felt guilt, if they found out what happened at all, I wonder if it's Ocre or Avalanche who told them first, how are their relation with her in light of everything ? What would she have become if she survived ? What would she have done with the freedom which came with the end of the war ?

Hi! I saw you take art requests, and I was wondering if you could draw pictures (separately) of the Detective Boys in their Guardian forms for my "The Guardiens Of Beika" AU?

If you take this request, can you make Genta and Conan's Guardien outfits look a little more boyish? I think Mitsuhiko's outfit looks fine, but i had a bit of a hard time with Genta and Conan's outfits (P.S. Mitsuhiko is wearing a hood on his Guardien outfit)

I would also like to hear your thoughts on my AU if you have any.

I’m sorry, I mainly make simple sketches due to time/wrist injury constraints, and this sounds more complicated than I can do justice at this time. Your idea sounds very interesting though! I never watched the other show you mentioned so im not confident my feedback would be very helpful, however. But thank you for sharing your ideas!

They meet Freminet when Klee gets lost while diving and starts to cry because she can’t find big bro Kaeya anywhere

I feel like a current would get them separated, it's a new place and Klee is small--the current would definitely catch her off guard

And she's been told no more bombs by mister Wrio, and she's not about to go back to the courts and get Kaeya in trouble

Freminet finds Klee during his dive and he's a little confused why a kid is alone so he brings Klee to the shore and lets her hold Percy for a bit because Percy helps him calm down when he’s upset

In the meantime, he's trying to figure out what to do? Surely her guardiens are nearby, but Lyney used to tell him it's best to stay in one spot when he got lost as a kid.....so wouldn't it be better to keep Klee in one spot?

Meanwhile, Kaeya is the epitome of the “Timmy! The mother’s adrenaline is kicking in” meme because Alice and Klee’s father are so good to him and Archon's Damn It All he can’t loose Klee

Wrio is equally anxious, but he’s at least the calmer of the two. To be fair, he’s basically the law, so he’s pretty confident they’ll find Klee

They find her on the shore with Freminet exchanging stories about Percy and Dodoco

Cue both of them being Proud™ of their kids getting along, and Kaeya and Klee hugging bc that was something neither wants to repeat

Wrio looks after Freminet bc he secretly worries about him and his siblings, but mostly Freminet who is way too pale for his liking.

He knows the kid is probably pale from all the diving he does, but still, the kid doesn’t smile often, and damnit, does he have a soft spot for kids.

So what if he takes Freminet out for tea and a hot meal after he gets back from his dives? The kid is shivering, okay?

And maybe he makes sure the kid gets home safe because his deeper dives have him out way too late at night for his liking

(Lyney is secretly thankful for Wrio’s extra protection over the youngest sibling. He and Lynette would look after him, but their magic shows tend to run late)

He also may or may not have scolded Freminet a few times when he dives too deep and gets in trouble/injured--all while drying the kid off and tending to his injuries

And when they were in prison, he made sure to give them the best treatment he could because he knows it’s not the trio’s fault, it was the Fatui’s, he just needed to wait for the circumstances to come up in court to free them

Hi hiiiii I don’t post often so idk how to start this, but I wanna talk about (and bring back) an AU I made over a year ago, back in may 2023. I ended up dropping it for various reasons, but I was thinking about it today so here we are :D (The first chapter of the fic I had planned to write is still up on AO3)

Long story short, it’s a WxS angst AU (although mostly Rui angst, the other also get their turn) called the Remembrance AU. Not to worry! I intend for the ending to be a happy one. Since I made so long ago, WxS are still in their first/second year of high school, so it’s also the case in this AU. Anyways, here goes (details under the cut):

While rehearsing for a show, the roof of the stage collapses (damaged due to a storm the previous night, not that anyone noticed) on the people practicing. Those people being Emu, Tsukasa and Nene. They don’t make it. Rui, having been watching from the benches to do his director stuff, witnesses the whole thing and understandably feels Not Very Good about the whole thing. He fears that one of his inventions was the cause for a while (it wasn’t). In his grief, he decides to write a book about his friends, so that they can be remembered. So that he doesn’t forget. He even goes as far as asking anyone who he is aware knew his friends to get stories about them from others sources. So their portrayals are as accurate as possible.

At 19 years old, not too long after having published the book, he wakes up in a weird dimension tht looks like a library. He believes it to be a Sekai for a moment (he misses the Wonderland Sekai and its inhabitants…), until he is greeted by a weird shadowy figure. The figure tells him that this dimension is the place where everyone’s memories are stored, both alive and dead, both remembered and forgotten. The figure also says that they’re the guardien of this place, its Librarian. But they’ve been doing this for a long time, they’re tired and want to pass their job to someone else. They say that they were very impressed with Rui’s passion to immortalize his friends’ memories in a book, and that they would like for Rui to be their successor. The downside to this would be that Rui would have to let go of his own memories.

Rui is afraid. He’s angry. He worked so hard for his friends to be remembered, and now someone wants to take that away? No. No way. But then again… those memories are out into the world now. What does it change if he forgets? All remembering does is hurt. So… so he accepts. Rui becomes the new Librarian.

Meanwhile, in the real world, over a decade later, a reincarnated Emu has her first conversation with a reincarnated Nene, and Nene’s older brother Tsukasa, also reincarnated (they don’t know). Due to a twist of fate, they end up in a weird dimension that looks like a library…

Steven smiled at your flowting form, that was sitting beside him, you were a ghost or that's what you told him you were, Unfortunatly, you can not tell him the whole truth.

In Steven's eyes you were something he possessed only him, his own angel guardien. Not the little American man inside of him, you were his friend that showed him the right path, and you never had been wrong. You always right!

You never lied to him, and you told him everything, well not everything, but enough for him to understand where he stood.

You had helped him when no one wanted to and you never thought of him as weird, you were his guarden angel. You even laughed at his stupid jokes.

You hated the nickname. He thought, you would rather be called a blood thirsty monster than an angel.

_What happened?

You raised an eyebrow, and he couldn't help but let out a small giggle, not from hapiness, but how silly this may be to you.

_Well…Well you see..I know you wouldn't beleive but..but there someone inside of me…He want to take my body..His name is Mark..He was the one that broke the toiletes…He want to take my body and kill people…and I was kidnapped when they thought I was him..You see..

Before he could continue, the door opened and he fallen head first.

_Steven!

You eyes widen as you flowted beside him. You tried to touch him, but when it pass through, you draw them back in disappointment.

_Listen Steven..

He turn you way, ignoring the man in front of him. Steven will always put you first no matter the situation, and he was ready to listen to whatever you say.

_Whatever this man says to you, don't beleive him. Did you hear?

Steven nodded rapiddly, like an obedient child.

_He is a liar, just like the skeleton bird over there.

He was glad the bird couldn't see you, or he would have done something to you, after all the insult you throw his way. Since he appeared in Steven's life one year after you did.

Looking at the bad guy in fornt of him, he thought as he tried to stop his tears "I'm counting on you (Y/N)".

He really is, you were his only chance to get out of this mess.
