Be My First! Bhupinder Gujjar #83
Bhupinder Gujjar x Khalise Brown
Warnings: Cuteness!!
Word Count: 296
A/N: Let’s get into it.
Khalise is your name.
Hope you like it.
Tumblr media
Khalise awoke to the soft morning light shining through the curtains. She stretched and lazily embraced the comfort of her bed, until she felt her lover’s body nestled against her back, sending a wave of excitement throughout her body.
The warmth of Bhupinder’s skin on hers stirred a fire inside her heart. With a smile on her lips, she rolled to face him and opened her eyes, only to find his own gaze already burning into hers.
“Morning,” she greeted him with a smile, and he immediately returned her smile, flashing one of those rare, playful ones that always gave her butterflies.
“Good morning,” Bhupinder murmured back as he gently brushed a strand of hair away from her face. His touch was like electric shocks jolting through her senses, sending her into a heavenly haze.
“What has put that look on your face?” He tilted his head at her, both curious and amused.
She suddenly felt shy as she found herself unable to meet his gaze. She didn’t usually get weak-kneed like this but his enthusiasm seemed to pierce through her and stir up some unknown emotion.
“I want you to be my first,” she blurted out finally, and it felt like she was releasing all the secrets she’d been keeping locked in her heart since the day they met.
He seemed to recognize the significance of those words – there was something else burning in his gaze now, something that matched the intense desire she felt for him.
“I want you to be my first, too.” He smiled, and with that, they sealed their unspoken, mutual longing into something unbreakable.
From then on, they’d experience life together, hand in hand, and Khalise was never happier. This was what she wanted – the two of them, together, forever.
-I hope you guys enjoyed this! I had fun writing it. I love you guys so so so so so much. <33333

Kashmir, a region with a captivating ethnic diversity, is home to many fascinating communities. Parveena and her daughter, Rubeena, are part of an ethnic group known as Gujjar. During the summer, they live high in the mountains alongside their cattle, surrounded by the beauty of nature. However, as winter approaches, they migrate to the warmer valleys. The life of these people is challenging, but, like many traditional communities, they maintain a deep connection with spirituality, which gives them strength and hope. For instance, little Rubeena wears a Ta’wiz around her neck, a special amulet containing a few verses from the Quran.

20-man championship gauntlet
This is to determine the first MLP men's Canadian champion. Well, I'm not sure if "first" is the right word. Maple Leaf Pro acquired the rights to the old Maple Leaf Wrestling promotion that ran Toronto, so they would very much like to connect this title to the old NWA Canadian heavyweight championship that was created in 1978, and abandoned in 1984 when Jack Tunney sold the group to WWE.
I don't think the rules have been officially announced, but it's probably going to be very similar to WWE's Royal Rumble, TNA's gauntlet for the gold, or the New Japan Ranbo. So two men start, and every X minutes another man enters. Eliminations can occur at any time, but the match can't end until everyone has entered; last one left is the winner. The big question is how a participant can be eliminated, but these days everyone but WWE seems to like doing eliminations by pinfall or submission.
All twenty participants have already been announced. The biggest stars that a casual WWE fan would recognize are Billy Gunn, Bishop Dyer (formerly Baron Corbin), Matt Cardona, Raj Dhesi (formerly Jinder Mahal). Then you've got Josh Alexander and El Phantasmo, who are fairly important in AEW and New Japan right now. Below that, you've got the names that would be pretty good gets for a big indy show: Alex Zayne, PCO, QT Marshall, Rhino, and Rich Swann. Then there's the guys who never amounted to much in TNA: Bhupinder Gujjar, Johnny Parisi (formerly Johnny Swinger), and Sheldon Jean. And finally, you've got the guys I literally only know from watching MLP: Brent Banks, El Reverso, Michael Allen Richard Clark, Mo Jabari, Psycho Mike, and Rohan Raja.
I expect this to be well-booked to keep the fans on their toes for the whole match. You've got a good mix of undercard guys to do comedy spots, veterans to do nostalgia spots, dickhead heels to get heat, and some legitimate stars that people can get behind.
This Canadian title is probably going to be the top men's belt in the promotion, above Rohan Raja's "champion's grail" and more of a focus than Thom Latimer visiting with the NWA men's world title. So the big question is, who can they build this promotion around? Josh Alexander is an obvious choice as the Canadian hero of the 2020s, but he's signed to AEW, where he's a heel, so that might be a problem. Dyer and Dhesi are free agents last I looked, but you never know if they'll get signed away by somebody. You could have a guy like Clark or Raja eliminate three or four big names to get the rub, and strap a rocket to their back with an upset title win, but that might be risky.
This match feels unpredictable, but I'm going to go with Josh Alexander as the (somewhat) safe pick.
Gisele Shaw vs. Kylie Rae
This is the final match in an eight-woman tournament to determine the first MLP women's Canadian champion. Shaw beat Laynie Luck and Serena Deeb to get here; Kylie went over Zoe Sager and Taylor Rising.
There's an interesting story to tell with Shaw, and they've positioned her pretty strong in MLP, with a great showing against Athena back in October, and Deeb in the semifinals. So I was a big confused when they had her go heel on Kylie. Sure, Kylie's a natural babyface, and I'm all for Chicago's favorite wrestler winning this title. But she's under a WWE ID deal, and I don't think MLP can assume she'll be available in the long term. I gotta root for Kylie in this one, but regardless I hope we get a great match, and I think Gisele will probably take the title.
Thom Latimer vs. Stu Grayson
Latimer is defending the NWA men's world heavyweight title, the famous "ten pounds of gold." As such, this is my bi-monthly reminder that Billy Corgan's NWA still exists. Grayson is best known for being the guy in AEW's Dark Order, and then for leaving AEW, then returning to AEW, then leaving all over again. I'm surprised I don't see him around more often; hopefully MLP gives him the spotlight he deserves. I doubt he's going to win here, though, since Corgan didn't agree to send Latimer over here to do a job.
Zack Sabre Jr. vs. Jonathan Gresham
Sabre is a big get for MLP, although it's been a few months since he was IWGP world champion, and he's felt rather cold to me since losing the belt. After last night's double-pinfall draw against Hirooki Goto, I'm kinda wondering if Zack is building to a heel turn. Right now, though, this is about Sabre going hold for hold with a guy who can match him in submission holds. I haven't seen much of Gresham since he left AEW, and I'm not sure where he's headed since he left TNA, but this ought to be good. This could go either way, but I'm picking Zack to win.
David Finlay & Drilla Moloney vs. Karl Anderson & Doc Gallows
Gallows and Anderson just finished their non-compete period with WWE, and last night they got the win in an eight-man tag with Finlay's War Dogs faction. Moloney wasn't in that match, but he is also Finlay's dog for real, so there you go. I'm not sure if this is going somewhere, but I can't see the War Dogs letting it go until they get a win over the Good Brothers. I guess that could happen here, but I'm expecting Gallows and Anderson to win again.
Michael Oku vs. Gabe Kidd vs. Mike Bailey
Oku is the RevPro men's British heavyweight champion, but this isn't being advertised as a title bout. It's a three-way match, so the first man to score a fall over any opponent will win.
I have no idea why these guys are fighting. My guess is that they wanted to book New Japan's Kidd against AEW's Bailey, but they didn't want either guy to do a job. That would suggest Oku is the designated jobber, which sounds like a slap in the face for RevPro, but that's kind of where they fit into the pecking order. I've heard great things about Oku, but I can't remember ever actually seeing him wrestle, so this should be a treat, especially against a karate-flippy guy like Bailey and a mean guy like Kidd. I would book Kidd to win, but if Bailey wins that wouldn't shock me either.
Josh Alexander vs. QT Marshall
These two are also scheduled to be in the Canadian championship match, so I guess they're doing double duty. There haven't been many storylines in MLP so far, but the emerging narrative is that QT is recruiting guys to be henchmen in his heel stable, and Alexander is the great Canadian hero who makes the save and closes the show. That narrative is a bit awkward when Alexander is on AEW television working for Don Callis, which is only a hair's difference from working for Marshall. But I suppose this match will clear up where things stand. My guess is that the match will end with some angle to lead into the gauntlet, like maybe Josh will win but get beat down, to tease that he won't make it to the main event.
Serena Deeb vs. Miyu Yamashita
Yamashita was on AEW last week in a losing effort to Toni Storm. Deeb has been laying low on AEW for a while, but I think they're gearing up for her to be a fixture of ROH's new women's pure division. I'm not sure who will win, but I guess Deeb's coming from a bigger league so that may give her the edge.
