Hey guys! I am Mahi and welcome to my first blog. Today is the last day of 2022 and this season of our show will be over now. So, why not a 2022 wrap-up? I mean, Spotify does it, so why not me? So, here is my recap of the year. (This post has been inspired by an Instagram post by @inastudious on Ig)

So, we are going to: celebrate the past, set intentions for the next year and create new systems.

CELEBRATE THE PAST

What did I do this year that I am proud of? What did I learn? How I felt?

Level 1: What I did

Found the best of friends and teachers

I found the best of friends this year. My last year of high school and forever friends. I have to give them that they handled me at my absolute worst and still love me when I just burnt down their forest. I know what I did and how I am. So, for them, I am going to be better because they deserve the best. I love them so so much. They are people my 11-year-old had been dreaming to be friends with. Shout out to Tanisha, Vanshika, Charu, Yashaswini, Shreya D, Harshita, Nistha, Riya K, Riya M, and Priyanka. You guys are amazing and I hope we still meet up when we go to college. My teachers were downright amazing. Couldn't ask for more. I have never seen such dedication in anyone ever.

2. Hiking Trip

This year in June, I went on a hiking trip in the foggy hills of Nagaland, India. The most relaxing experience even though we walked for like 6 hours to reach our destination. We stayed in a small hotel. It was a totally different experience. In between, I felt like giving up, but then I did the whole trek just for 2 cups of noodles that we got at the hotel. It was quite wet there. I kept falling down. But it's okay. It was unique and something I will surely do again!!

3. Escape Room

So, on my birthday this year, I planned to do an escape room with my cousins. Honestly, never again. Not that it was bad or anything- I genuinely feel that I am not good at this kinda stuff. Like, I feel that if I'll be getting murdered, then I'll just cry. No kidding. I'll cry all the way until the murderer decides to leave me alone. By the way, most of the escape room was done by Shakul (the one on the left). Ananya (the one on the right) helped. I just tried to act like Sherlock. Making simple things complex. lol. Anyways, it was fun. And I am happy that I tried it.

Level 2: What I learnt

Honestly, I learnt a lot this year. This year was a learning year only. So, here are the top three things that I learnt.

1. Never date anyone from the same school

Yes. Never date any person who goes to the same school or any institution where you see each other's faces every day. I know, it's fun at first. But then, it gets awkward when you guys break up. So, like, not good.

2. Speak now and get over it

This year, I confessed to a guy. He said no. But yk what good for me. I moved on very quickly. Like, it took me one Taylor Swift song to get over him. So, it was really cool. Just say it man, and get over it.

3. Don't let internet influence you

The Internet is a fucked up place, man. Don't digest everything that you see. I mean, it influences our habits like anything. I would see pretty lip balms and I'll search for them on Amazon. Damn. I don't need lip balms rn, but this marketing makes me think that I need that particular lip balm. This is one example. There are many others.

Level 3: What I felt

This song was basically what I felt throughout the year (Thank you, Taylor Swift). I was happy and sad. I was happy that I found such good friends and experienced the best of memories. But I am kinda sad that this is ending. Well, that's how life works, ig.

Monday, January 29th, 2024!

8:00am he doesn't have any grasp of how poorly he handled money while living here. Didn't know when bills were due how much they cost and never bothered to ask. Just wanted me to keep asking him for money like a fucking bank. Does not grasp the concept of why would I ask you for money when every other week you asked me for weed money (indicating you literally didn't even have $40?). How am I supposed to turn around and ask you for bill money?

No longer my problem!! He's my friend not my problem, I'll find a partner who is willing to understand how things work OR already knows and I don't have to teach them how to be an adult! Can you imagine? I can I know there's guys out there that handle all of their own finances and that's very attractive! I want that! :) *manifesting** lol ✨✨

12:14pm Checking in, just got out of class, want to get lunch and do work after! There's a bunch of teeny tiny things to do this week. It's cold outside too!! Freezing my feet and a lack of blood circulation lol.

11:43pm day kind of was a drag due to an uncoordinated group project and untimed meeting but we go on!

Weaponized incompetence! That's the word lmao, yeah she can have that! Oof idk man just doesn't sit right with me, but it's not my problem anymore! Yayyyy :) I really need to figure out how to redirect my mind when I feel like telling him some bs he did to me. I did really well and I'm proud of myself today for asking him first if he wanted to hear my rant and he said no politely lmao and I think that was smart for me. It just kind of subsided, at least enough for me to get my work done today. I just want to keep focusing on me :) always something I can be doing for myself tbh, don't really need to be doing things for an incompetent partner 😎 she can have thattt.

Tbh I feel like I'm just gonna live my whole "life" and probably not f around with settling down until I'm at least 30 and I'm cool with that lol. What's the rush, I don't want any crotch monsters so I really dgaf about all that (plus there's fostering etc). I kind of want to get off the dating/ relationship reddit stuff bc it's just not realistic tbh 😅 I don't want to compromise, I don't want to fuck around on someone else's schedule, I literally don't want someone telling me anything what to do, nothing I don't want to hear a man's opinion 😂 probably not the best time in my life to start dating haha

So yeah they always say, what do you want out of a relationship rn? Still nothing serious, I'm not serious, I would love a fwb, I would love a concert buddy, I want a happy hour buddy, club buddy, watching sports together buddy, and these really don't have to be men btw (men are low-key trash another reason I should not be dating haha bc I will be mean AF). Just vibe, my new year's resolution was to have more friends and I think I'm on the right track :) I definitely am having a healthier mindset now, making friends was not on my to-do list 3/2 months ago 👀👀 but that's what growing is about!

I feel bad that my ex isn't getting this same self growth but 🤷 what tf am I supposed to do with that info lol I guess he just perfectly knows himself..... 🤣🤡 The end.

you guys often have study dates, and you both actually study pretty well, with light conversation and sappy 80s songs playing in the background to break up the silence. suga usually gets bored of studying if he’s covered everything that he needs to cover, and then he will go over to you and lowkey bother you until you go watch a movie or just vibe with him.

one of your most memorable dates you had with him was an almost perfect picnic date. the weather was warm, and there were like no people at the park you guys went to eat, and all the food was really good. you guys just talked and made stupid jokes the entire time, while trying new food combos and doing the eating a cake out of a glass tik tok trend. the whole date was super chill, but really romantic at the same time.

every few weeks, you guys have a movie night, where you jokingly argue over what movie to watch, and then you and suga try to see who can catch the most popcorn in their mouth (you guys both are pretty bad at it). if you want, you guys will do facemasks, and just laugh and have fun with each other while the movie plays in the background.

one of suga’s love languages is touch, so if you guys are together, he will always have an arm wrapped around your shoulder or waist. his favorite form of pda is when you guys lock pinkies while walking, because it’s a lowkey way of showing everyone that you are his, while still being cute and romantic.

he likes to make playlists for you, and they always are super upbeat and will put a smile on your face just from the pure vibes they give off. if he ever sees you listening to them, he will get really happy that you actually liked it, and then he will add more songs to it just to surprise you the next time you listen to it.

suga likes to draw as well, and will often make small sketches of you and say something smooth like “i tried to make the drawing as pretty as you are in real life, but that’s impossible”, and he will be secretly proud if he gets a reaction out of you. he will keep everything you draw for him, and look at them whenever he is missing you.

you are always able to make him laugh, no matter where you guys are. if you and suga are in the same class, you would be joking around when the teacher was talking, and he would literally laugh out loud, and everyone would hear him. he has gotten in trouble many times, and he always pretends to be mad at you for getting him in trouble, but he really thinks it’s funny to see you try to apologize.

sugawara is your #1 hype man, like you could be doing the simplest thing, or wearing the most boring outfit, and he would tell you that you are a literal goddess and just make you feel like the baddest bitch ever (as you should). if you are ever going to put extra effort into an outfit, he would want to match with you so you guys can be an aesthetic couple together.

overall, you and suga are always able to put a smile on everyone’s faces, especially each others. he loves you so much, and would never think of cheating on you. people envy you guys for the trust you both have in each other, and how aesthetic your dates are. (god tier picnic dates i tell you).

Okay I have slept and am signifcantly more coherent so! I do have more thoughts on the fic :] ik I should probably just comment these.... ON the fic.... but you know I’m already in this ask box so really I might as well just chill out here

I forgot to talk about it last night but I do like the mentioning of the whole Schlatt resurrection arc thing and the way it’s handled with these specific characters? Narratively you could have made Techno like ‘wait what no. don’t do that’ but in reality he WOULDN’T. It’s true that all everyone (w/ a couple exceptions) does is dictate what he’s supposed to do for them, or he gets manipulated into it, and I imagine that would be exhausting after awhile! And even IF resurrecting a dictator is, like, an objectively bad decision on Quacks’ part, it’s still his decision, isn’t it? Techno going off w/ Phil and not really siding with anyone else is a conscious decision on his part, and while it’s not like. Super explored in the fic I imagine Quackity has issues w/ his own level of control as well? Like, clearly he’s used to being bossed around for everything he does, and he wants Techno to be like Schlatt in the sense that he tells him exactly what he’s *supposed* to do, but the fact that Big Q is under the assumption that there’s an action he’s ‘supposed’ to take is flawed in the first place. This ramble got out of hand sorry I just LOVE how u portrayed this

I’d LOVE to see more Philza and Quackity moments,, their dynamic is so fun (tho in a different way than Techno n Quackity’s) is and it makes me smile to read back over their stuff :] I love how Phil does get a significant amt of fun in fucking with Big Q (truly, like father like son) but still very clearly approves of him as a person? Like, I imagine Quackity isn’t really all that sure how Phil feels about him. ‘I’m pretty sure your dad hates me, dude.’ ‘What are you talking about?’ Techno asks, bewildered, ‘I’ve never seen him obviously like anyone this fast.’ Like, Phil would make it pretty obvious if he didn’t, I think? The man can be much scarier than what Quackers got rly it’s a blessing. I could probably rant abt their dynamic more but I’m a sane person I promise lol </3

Small thing but honestly with the way Techno clearly constantly takes care of Big Q’s wings for him bc he’d prefer to do it himself and then PHIL doing it I’m starting 2 think Quackity just. Doesn’t know how to groom his own wings. Like Techno he’s not a baby bird he should do it himself. But also... I care them :,] the fact that Techno can take care of Q’s wings and Quackity can braid Techno’s hair and they trust each other w/ that... I know the reasons for it are obvious bc Quackity trusts easily and Techno clearly doesn’t see Big Q as someone who could be a threat but it’s still making me soft,,

The little impromptu therapy make-up session was a rly good display of both of their characters :] Quackity’s awful at handling like, any tension whatsoever with anyone so him taking way less than a day to go ‘hhhrhdh can we talk it out’ even tho he hates talking about feelings? Like he’s making an attempt at maturity and Techno’s going w/ it even thi neither of them are really comfortable with all that :] they value their friendship sm no one talk to me

Also I agree w/ u on the Techno characterization thing! Techno can definitely do jokes and drop the serious murder man act every once in awhile but the way he plays his character is v like. Blunt in everything. He doesn’t rly lash out, his ideals are consistent, and even when he’s planning chaotic attacks on other people nothing abt the way he acts really changes it’s just,, Techno but you should probably run away rn. His personality rly should be given more kudos it’s lovely

You might be able to take him in a fight but if he wants you dead he REALLY wants you dead, and Phil, who the other two clearly got the feral part of their personalities from and somehow manages to be even scarier despite the fact that he’s an all-around polite guy. Quackity is just a normal anxious dude can he please go five minutes w/o coming face-to-face with another generally terrifying figure in his life who could kill him easily but won’t bc he’s so small?? Here’s my first impressions (aka this is what 2020 is gonna sound like folks)

Alright so I’m really behind today, as some of you know I literally just got back from vacation and it’s also my first day of classes this semester and it’s just craziness. Yes I’m posting the first chapter of Yeosang’s spin-off today. But people seemed to like my first impressions of the last album so I’m going to do them again. Thankfully (?) this album is a lot shorter so I can pause and talk about stuff.

Warning! a loooong post, squealing, incoherent thoughts smashed together, and crying ahead. A lot of crying. Keysmashes included.

Post-MV thoughts before I listen to it again: There’s way too much to focus on and I’ve watched it many many times to look at the choreo and the storyline stuff that’s happening, but this is my first time listening without the video so I’ll notice more musically this time. But first I wanna say; YEOSANG’S LINES!!!! I’ve been screaming for forever that he has a beautiful deep voice and needs to be given parts that compliment it. And wow it finally happened :’) Anyway here we gooo

건배하자 like a thunder!! Can you believe they literally spoiled the entire hook of their next song in Beginning of the End? *flashbacks to my utter confusion when that happened* San sounds amazing and I like the little echoey thingies. Gives it a real nostalgic feel. Jongho already popping off vocally barely 10 seconds in. Mingi’s rap here and the transition to Hongjoong’s— rap line goals. The attitude in that mm-mm made me smile ngl. This prechorus might be my favourite part of the song. Seonghwa sounds heavenly. An EDM drop bringing back that hook, good decision and again it kinda feels nostalgic?? Especially the oh-oh-ohs which are also giving me a pirate drinking song vibe wow 0.0 Wooyoung with that 불러 불러 lol. Yes the Yeosang part!! I love a good post-chorus switchup and he. handled. it. perfectly. There’s even harmony, yall know how much I love harmony. And SINGING RAPPERS AHAHDJAHAK YESSSSS. Back to that glorious prechorus but it’s Yunho’s turn. This chorus is just such an anthem. I’m bopping rn. San in this bridge— he said I am a VOCALIST listen to my beautiful VOICE. Yay the rappers going back and forth again!! It’s like If Without You. Man I can’t believe I get to replay this song forever. 2020 is gonna be lit. You hit those notes Jongho! I’m always blown away by this kid, and that scoop earlier mmmm. Just nodding very energetically right now. Perfect end to the song. 100/10!!!!

Okay I’m pausing before the next one starts because no I am not prepared. It’s just like last time; I know Hongjoong wrote this and I know it’s gonna ruin me but I have no idea how and when and what it’s even gonna be like but anyway, too bad, let’s just go.

Oh kinda futuristic sounding opening with the synths? Yooo the vocal thingy in the background, sounds like a sample of some kind, that is super cool and I hope we get more of it. Ok I paused just to write that, let me unpause. This is gonna be a long one, I can already tell, sorry guys 😅 And the beat changed right before the vocalists came in. definitely a back and forth thing here in two registers, very sweet. Wow. WOW MINGI WOW. This rap is?? It sounds super mature and idk just full of confidence. I’m shook. Ok the chorus. Holy cow this is LIT lit. Nope nope I need to pause and go back. This is so chaotic, I feel like I’m missing things?? I’m listening to that chorus again because there were so many elements there. I just wanna take this song and break it down second by second to hear every single sound hahahah. I’m only catching an odd word or two here as far as lyrics go. Oml harmonies 💆🏻‍♀️ Alright Hongjoong’s rap. OMG if he sounded sassy in Answer this is a whole new level and I LOVE IT. Flow is 100/10. The “are you gonna take me there” gives me chills. This song needs a dance this chorus is TOO LIT. Am I at a rave rn??? Oh thank God the bridge took it back a level. Ok I’m pausing because I think I caught some of the lyrics this time. If I’m not wrong I heard 난 궁금해 저 끝이 궁금해, 더 가까이 조금 더 가까이 ? Which is something like “I wonder, I wonder about the end. Closer, a little bit closer” if I heard correctly. I need to look up the lyrics in full later because Hongjoong has a big brain and his lyrics are always 🤯🤩 Ok unpause. Final breakdown! Yep this is going on repeat the rest of today. Jongho yussss with the ad libs. No it’s over ㅠㅠ Alright this one is already vying for top spot this album. We shall see. But I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. HONGJOONG GENIUS.

Um so yeah I saw them perform this live for their anniversary thingy and cried so this should be fun. At least I already know the song so how much can it hurt me? 🤷🏻‍♀️

Smart of whoever put this album together to stick this song right in the middle and make us cry between head banging to the other songs. Mingi in the beginning is just 💖💕💘💝💓 San ballad king. I need more ballads from him. Jongho, of course, with perfect vocal control. Oh Seonghwa too, I need more ballads from him. Wooyoung with T H A T part. A tear is forming, I just love this chorus. People are saying the song should be in a drama and I 100% agree. Everyone together FOREVER YOU ARE MY STARRR. The little drum frills it’s so cute :(( Yay Hongjoong, and his cute little voice I’m UWUWU. Wooyoung with the high note and I’m ascending........... Chorus again and this is the real meaning of crying in the club. It just occurred to me that the second verse seemed really short. Yeosang + Hongjoong + that guitar in the bridge is *chef’s kiss*. This is so emotional, do we really need to do this at 4am?!? I’m just gonna vibe for a sec, it’s the last chorus. The ad libs were so perfect and the way it ended— wow. I need a moment.

From my understanding this is a full version of the Precious Overture they gave us last album. Tempted to go back and see my first impressions about that one, but either way i have a distinct feeling my wig is about to be snatched. Let’s GOOO

So far, it’s starting the same. Creepy humming and all. Okay scratch that, we have a vocal melody. Yunho sounds great ugh I’m so proud. Sorry, San’s voice just takes me to another plane of existence or something, how can it be that smooth and gorgeous, someone please explain. Building to something now... Oo. OO?! Hongjoong’s rapping. This is so cool oh wow, and into this vocal part which I believe is the chorus?? wOW wow it’s amazing to hear this having already heard the bgm, this is like a new level of appreciation. It really all goes well. Ah we have a switch up now with Seonghwa. guys GUYS GUYS you know how I feel about switch ups. Sorry I’m going back to catch something. The tempo changed here and really grabbed my attention. The bass is also super cool, it’s actually the same melody as the treasure opening (and the opening of this song) but much lower, I believe. Uh oh guys this might be vying for top spot too. Let’s continue. Ok Mingi’s rap which I’ve already heard. Um I’m confused now. It’s Hongjoong’s rap again? Is this the chorus?? Woah woah hold on I gotta pause. Because. Wait, what?? This is the chorus??!? Yoooooooo bold move! I have no idea what is going on but I love it. Continuing on. Ah yeah ok the vocal part with Yeosang again, so I guess the rap + vocal part is the chorus? Also I neglected to mention but Yeosang is killing this song. Ooh okay this bridge is building some suspense. Feeeelingggggg.... And now a shouted version of the rap for the final chorus. Okay wow I’m impressed that they took it this direction. And Jongho with the ad libs is PERFECTIONNNN. Oop okay they’ve added the revised-lyric Treasure part to the end here. And the lyrics are the same as in Precious (Overture) so I’m guessing we still didn’t find the treasure, good grief. How long is it gonna take to find this treasure 😅. And it ended like that. Well. WOW. Again, I could listen to this on repeat all day. Again, I am deceased. Instant fave.

I’m pretty sure this is the exact same as I already heard on the trailer thingy but we are gonna react to it anyway.

The orchestra really loosens my tear ducts like nothing else. It’s beautiful, who else is doing it like them?? “Did you find your treasure?” Yes, I found ATEEZ 🥺. The way he says “finally found it” . This is Maddox btw. Also about Maddox, hang on I’m gonna pause for a PSA: guys if you don’t know Maddox please PLEASE check him out. He’s doing the amazing narration on this (and Intro too), he’s a soloist under KQ and one of Ateez’s hyungs who they look up to. In addition to his superior narrating talents, he is also an amazing vocalist. If you like R&B and lo-fi music I would definitely recommend him, he just dropped a single called Color Blind, his insta is xxmaddox, he’s a great guy and YEAH that’s all for my plug but go stan him, he is deserving and proof of the fact that KQ artists are talent through and through. Unpausing! The way the orchestra swells and then goes into a piratey sounding theme is so motivating and familiar :))) “Can you hear those voices?” HNGJRKSNDN WHY DOES IT HAVE TO BE SCARY. This is the Epilogue, it’s supposed to be like the denouement, the falling action!! The bad guys should be gone now! What’s next?? Treasure Ep: Answer to Question? Because that’s what I have after this album! More questions!!! Anyway, the bass here and the humming 👌🏻 100/10 for the instrumental. And in ATEEZ fashion, they leave me thirsting for more.

So that was my first impression/live reaction to the mini album! I think it’s Horizon and Precious fighting for #1 currently. Maybe I’ll reblog with second and third and fourth impressions... I am crying for Owen leaving.  I don't know WHO did it, I can't math and this really fucking hurts my heart I don't know who was lying about it.

I've made a zillion confessionals and the fact that lily and landen went behind my back and freaking orchestrated the entire owen vote REALLY makes me mad.  things I told them in confidence that they have probably shared with EVERYONE that is left it just really makes me EXTREMELY mad. I've got to put my game face on but I am really disappointed in all of them. Like if they would have come to me and said, lets get owen!  I WOULD have thought about it because I've said all along that they are the ones I trust the most and I'm just SO livid right now.  I have a slew of messages from Lily and like THE ONE PERSON HERE I THOUGHT I COULD TRUST GOES AND DOES THIS TO ME. Okay I'm breathing but I still haven't replied to anyone I tried  to post something witty in the house chat LOL. like abby lee miller says... SAVE YOUR TEARS FOR THE PILLOW!  I'm going to get my game face on and try to see... if I'm in good with anyone at all I don't even know.   The competitor in me knows that Owen NEEDED to go if I want to win but this was all SHADY AS FUCK.  I NEVER CURSE AND I HAVE CURSED MORE IN THESE THINGS TODAY THAN I HAVE IN A MONTH. 

WHEW. BIG WHEW. That was the most wild day of my life but I’m really proud with how I handled myself and took charge of my game. I didn’t like how things were going ruthie or landen. I crawled and scratched all day talking to almost everyone. I start the day with Owen and somehow through all this it happened. I guess that’s why you don’t settle on a vote! Landen and I were so close to settling. I was also close to voting chips. I literally changed my vote three times. Joanna then chips then Owen. I’m happy I’m making moves and finding my own but I am nervous with how this will end. Dan is PISSED. I didn’t mean for him to play his advantage but in the end I’m glad he did. I wondering how the rest of this game is going to go but I’m hoping that those who really say they have my back have my back. Owen added me to an alliance with me ruthie and dan because he trusted us most. I thought that was odd since Owen hadn’t talked game to me privately since I had voted him at the last tribal. In the end I think he would have tried to work with me but I think Owen and dan if they make it to the end they have a high probability of winning. I don’t know if I can trust to work with Dan at this point. I think he is too mad and will play me later on which I get. This game definitely isn’t getting any easier!

Well well well! You know it wasn't exactly the prettiest path there, but at the end of the day, I got what I wanted with the vote. I have to admit my feelings are just a little hurt, because at the beginning of the round, when I pushed to vote out Owen with Autumn, Kevin, Juls, Jules, and Lily, Autumn was so irritated with me that she began to push the target onto me and blow things way out of proportion when I was literally just pushing a simple idea. Anyway I then had to fight with everything I have to make sure the votes were on Ruthie instead, I had to have Juls and Jules go up to bat for me, while also pitching my case to Owen and Kevin and getting all the votes back on Ruthie. I did all that work and then 5 minutes before the Deadline Kevin says one thing to Jules and that's enough to entirely shift the vote and get Owen eliminated? Like it doesn't matter when Ravenclaw is clearly coming for me (Fuck off Dan), I'm expendable, but now that they're coming for you, oh, Hell will be rained down upon us. Yeah that's bullshit, but it's fine. Unlike some people, I'm not going to let my emotions impact my game and go on a targeting tirade against Autumn or something even though she really rubbed me the wrong way today and lost a lot of my trust and faith in her. That's her bad for having a messy social game, when she could've kept me as a close ally who was blindly ready to follow and trust her and she fucked that up, so that's her mistake. Not my loss, I still have half the game wanting to protect me yo. The jury as it stands right now does not look too hot in regards to my winning chances.. :P Max would definitely vote for me I think, but Jacob C and Owen.. yeah probably not. I could see Owen voting for me but I think he's understandably pissed that he sacrificed a lot for me and it didn't go well for him. But again that was his mistake, I told him to keep the vote on Ruthie and that we shouldn't be trying to do any secondary plans, and he didn't listen to me. Everyone keeps not listening to me and it's very frustrating bc I keep being right about everything, but oh well. Sometimes that's just the way it rolls in Survivor and you have to accept it until you have the power to get what you want done DONE, that's the patience and hard work of Hufflepuff speaking luv. TENACITY! .....Now, Dan reacted to this vote terribly. Honestly I would pop off and write a bunch of essays, but let's just say Dan has always been really condescending and just dismissive. He has an incessant need for control in the game and he literally like.. BLEW THE FUCK UP because of one simple vote??? So useless, and so gaslighty. Disrespectful to act like he's gonna quit, too. Just quit then. But whatever, Dan's tantrum is just adding more of a target on his back and taking all the target AWAY from me so I'm more than okay with that!! :D I think there will also be another target on Ruthie yet again because people will still be nervous about Hufflepuff numbers. Possibly a small target on Joanna for her inactivity and just general bad position in the game (which sucks to say given what's going on in her personal life, but that's just how it goes sometimes). At this rate though what I really need to focus on is jury management and improving some of my rockier relationships, because I think after this vote, I have survival down pat for a few rounds, which is great since I also have the idol to use for later when it comes down to it. We'll see what all happens though, this has been me reporting on the mess... What a time!

My PM's are EXTREMELY dry and it really irritates me.  Right now I feel like the entire tribe (minus Dan) are against me.  Landen and I talk every morning and it just sucks.  I did a lot of thinking last night and I've come to the conclusion that Landen is running this game and he is TIGHT with everyone.  I think that I can play off that I still want to work with him and Lily but I have to figure out a way to get Jules or Juls out to weaken him.   Owen gave me a lot of information yesterday that Juls and Jules were pushing for me to go and that Dan and Autumn wanted Landen to go.  I'm pretty sure Dan will vote however I ask him to and if Autumn and I could form some kind of bond... I need to see where Lily and I are because maybe she, Autumn and I... and maybe Kevin and someone else? could work together to bring someone out of the group of Landen/Juls/Jules down, and Dan would definitely vote with us. I ultimately feel like my name is mud right now, so this round I am going to just sit back and do more listening than talking. 

It has been rough in real life for me these past couple of days. In game drama doesn't make it better. Apparently Owen wanted to vote me out and then messaged me that he was worried his name was being thrown around. I, who was in the middle of having a mental breakdown, did not respond. It's funny when all I want to do is vote with the majority I don't vote with majority. I'm really frustrated with real life right now, I don't want this game to be frustrating too. It's so quiet today! I'm trying to figure out why... Did Lily tell people about my idol in a bid to change the vote yesterday and now this is a plan to flush my idol now because they couldn't get rid of it last time? Is Lily completely loyal to me and Im wrong for even SUSPECTING that and I'm just super paranoid and really people are just busy/don't wanna come online rn? That doesn't seem to be the case... I've definitely lost before because I don't trust my gut about the day being quiet as hell. *I GLANCE AT YOU THREE HOSTS VOTING ME OUT IN THE QUIETEST DAY EVER.*  I feel like I need to do more to survive but I've been put in an awkward position because I was told last round that I am 'too much' and should stop fighting to survive bc people view me as paranoid and pushy. So I am trying to exercise some self-restraint, but also I don't want to wait too long before I have a chance to genuinely figure out what the hell is going on and change this vote. I feel like there are some likely scenarios. 1 - People know about my idol, and they're trying to flush it by spooking me out when the vote is really on Dan 2 - People are trying to vote Dan but are very worried about him having 2 idols, so they're maybe putting some votes on me as well? 3 - People are trying to vote out Ruthie and don't want to tell me and Lily because of how they think that we're the ones who worked overtime to keep Ruthie safe and they're very concerned about Hufflepuff numbers 4 - People are straight up trying to vote me after Ruthie made up with Jules last night (maybe Jules revealed that I sold Ruthie out?) I am getting really ominous vibes from just the whole layout of this vote right now. I don't like it at all and I feel like something mysterious is going on, like people definitely did something weird that I don't understand and I'm just trying to put my mind 2 steps ahead of everyone else and I feel like I'm falling backwards. Seungcheol had always been involved in the shady realm of business

His father was a politician and,,,, well he wasn’t bad but he wasn’t good either

Seungcheol, however, thought his father did some questionable things

His suspicions were confirmed one day

“You’re gonna need to protect me”

And lil cheollie was like ???? what do you mean dad????

“Son, I have a lot of enemies, and that’s inevitable when you have this type of job. I don’t trust anyone else to do this job,,, so,,,,,,”

Poor smol cheols is still really confused like dad im still not understanding

“I need you to,,,,, take care,,,,,, of some people for me”

“Take care?? Like help them when they’re sick???”

“Sure…. Sick…. Let’s go with that”

And from then on, seungcheol started this dirty job his father brainwashed him into doing

He was only in middle school when he had to do his first “mission”

Since his dad didn’t want him to do anything big just yet, he only had cheols start off by dropping in poison discreetly in drinks

His missions slowly started to grow larger and next thing you know Seungcheol is taking up self defense classes

He’s now in his early 20’s and,,,,

His heart has completely hardened

All he thinks about is how his father will be proud for completing whatever current mission he needs to do

The reassuring words of “i’m proud” always made him feel overjoyed,,,, his father had never once said that to him even when Seungcheol had good grades or brought his team to first place in the football championships,,,,

No. His father only congratulated him every time he took care of an “inconvenience.”

“If this is what I have to do to get him to notice me,,,,, then I’ll do it.”

His father is in the middle of negotiating with another distinguished political figure,,, but things aren’t going very well

Being the manipulative person he is, cheol’s father is blackmailing the man to give in

The man mulls it over in thought before caving in

Ofc,,, seungcheol doesn't know about the dirty work his father does himself

He only thinks there's a reason for why his father has a need to get rid of bad men, and he just goes along with it

At this point he’s completely void of warmth and nurture

Whatever his father orders him to do, he does it without hesitation whatsoever

“Oh my gosh, I’m so sorry!” you apologize for running into someone

He doesn’t have time to deal with this since he’s on his way to meet his father but he takes one look at your face and he is star!! struck!!

“A-ah,,,, it’s alright; I wasn’t looking either,” he says with a dazed look

And you’re like oh good sorry about that again!! And you rush off to wherever you’re going

He watches you leave but then he’s like o right i gotta meet dad

The rest of the day he just has thoughts on the stranger he bumped into

His next mission is to get rid of the man’s daughter, but he can’t immediately kill her just quite yet

His father tells him to wait it out if the man pulls any tricks on him

But as for now, the father is holding off any missions for cheols bc the other politician is his main concern rn, and there doesn’t seem to be anything shady just yet

Cheols is like welp ok guess i’ll just,,,,,,chill or smth,,,,,,

And cheols hasn’t had free time in a loooong time so he’s kinda unsure what to exactly do

He decides to just go to the gym and hang out around a mall or smth like he literally does not know what to do

He’s at a nearby mall one day just chilling on a bench and sipping his smoothie he bought from the food court when he suddenly sits upright

A few shops down is the same person he bumped into!!!

You’re on a lonely shopping spree that consists of just window shopping and going around to stores that seem to have cute clothes

And he’s just like ,,,,,,,,what are the chances of meeting her again,,,,,,,,

He casually walks over at a reasonable distance where he’s far enough to not seem like a stalker but close enough to have you in sight

When he sees you heading out of the store he just casually bumps into you

Two weeks pass and you still hadn’t heard of anything from him

You text and call him but to no avail

You’re just about to give up contacting him after calling him for the fifth time but you suddenly hear a voice that you’ve been waiting for

“Hello?”

“Cheol what happened to you! I thought,,,, i thought,,,, you didn’t wanna see me anymore,,,,,,,,,,,,,”

And there’s silence on the other end

“Cheol, are you still there?”

“Look,,,,,,, y/n,,,,,, we can’t do this”

Your heart sinks

“W-what can’t we do?”

“This was never gonna work out,,, we should just end it here”

“Cheol, i don’t understand, let’s just meet up and talk--”

And the line cuts.

Your arm limply falls and drops the phone

You can’t eat or sleep for the next few days

A week later you return to the same cafe you bumped him at and a small inkling of you wants to meet him but at the same time you don’t know what would happen if you did

You end up going to the cafe every day because of that stupid little small spark of hope inside of you,,,, you keep telling yourself you’ll never see him again but,,,, your feet keep taking you there

Just around the corner of a building across the street, Seungcheol sees you desperately trying to find any signs of him

He grips his gun

“I’m sorry dad,,,, i can’t do it this time”

OC Questions: Goldie Miller

Here’s some questions I found (because I guess I suck at finding questionnaires?) that I wanted to do to introduce my wild child, Goldie! I’m still working on her, honestly, but I kinda like where she’s at rn. It’s a smidgen long so it’s going under the line. Enjoy!

Does your character have siblings or family members in their age group? Which one are they closest with? Goldie is an only child, which wasn’t very fun for her because she didn’t really have a whole lot to do when she was cooped up in her house with her mom.

What is/was your character’s relationship with their mother like? When Goldie was growing up, she looked up to her mom because what little girl doesn’t wanna be like their mommy, right? And her mom was there for her when she could. But when Goldie grew older and started a life of sex and clubbing, her mom disowned her and kicked her out. (Sucks to have a religious nut as a mom. No fun allowed.)

What is/was your character’s relationship with their father like? Goldie’s dad upped sticks after he knocked up Goldie’s mom. They had planned for kids but the pressure of playing daddy was too much for the guy.

Has your character ever witnessed something that fundamentally changed them? If so, does anyone else know? Well, when Goldie was in high school, she saw a lot of the other students making out in the hallways and junk, you know, stereotypical high school bullshit. And for a while, she was doing really good cuz she was a little religious thanks to her mom. But then one day, she caught a couple students fucking in the bathroom after school and she wanted to know more. And that’s how she started down the path of debauchery.

On an average day, what can be found in your character’s pockets? Her phone, car keys, casino id, wallet, condoms...

Does your character have recurring themes in their dreams? She doesn’t really have dreams...

Does your character have recurring themes in their nightmares? She has nightmares about her mom sometimes. She still really loves and cares about her...

Has your character ever fired a gun? If so, what was their first target? Nah, Goldie has never held a gun before, she doesn’t like them. She has a knife when she’s working, though!

Is your character’s current socioeconomic status different than it was when they were growing up? Uh? No? I don’t think it’s changed? Well, she’s dating her boss who runs a casino, so I guess she’s kinda wealthy now as compared to living in her car before he gave her a job?

Does your character feel more comfortable with more clothing, or with less clothing? *sweats* Goldie is very proud of her body so she like’s showing it off when she can. So less.

In what situation was your character the most afraid they’ve ever been? When she was kicked out of her house, she was terrified. She had no one who could really take her in, she had no job, she was stuck living in her car bouncing from casino to casino gambling for food money. Sometimes the table workers would take pity on her and give her chips to trade in for money but other times she would go hungry and steal from the grocery store.

In what situation was your character the most calm they’ve ever been? After she was given her job by her boss, she felt so great. She knew everything was going to be ok after that.

Is your character bothered by the sight of blood? If so, in what way? She’s not too terribly squeamish but blood does give her chills.

Does your character remember names or faces easier? Oh yeah! She’s really good at remembering people and names! (I wish I was lol)

Is your character preoccupied with money or material possession? Why or why not? She was incredibly materialistic before but now she’s kinda humbled out. After losing literally everything, she tried to enjoy everything she had as much as she could. Never know when you may have to pawn something for dinner.

Which does your character idealize most: happiness or success? Happiness! She’s never really cared about how successful she was going to be, she just always wanted to enjoy life and what she was doing to the fullest.

What was your character’s favorite toy as a child? She was a sucker for Barbie dolls.

Is your character more likely to admire wisdom, or ambition in others? She has a thing for ambitious people; she loves a guy/girl who is willing to do what they can to get what they want. She finds it to be a very attractive trait.

What is your character’s biggest relationship flaw? Has this flaw destroyed relationships for them before? When she used to club a lot and fuck literally anything on two legs, she had commitment issues. She would rather have one nighters than a full relationship. At least til she met James.

In what ways does your character compare themselves to others? Do they do this for the sake of self-validation, or self-criticism? She tries not to be judgmental, but she ran with the mean girls for a while. So she used to be really mean to validate her own beauty.  

If something tragic or negative happens to your character, do they believe they may have caused or deserved it, or are they quick to blame others? Ha ha! ACTUALLY, FUNNY THING! Her mom has cancer! And she wants to see Goldie before she dies! But Goldie fucking hates herself and can’t bare the idea of facing her mom! :D

What does your character like in other people? She likes people who enjoy life and just wanna have fun!

What does your character dislike in other people? People who are really stuffy and kinda just put work first before finding the time to relax.

How quick is your character to trust someone else? Pretty quick, I think. I mean, she would want to get to know you a little better before putting her life in your hands, but basic trust is usually granted immediately.

How quick is your character to suspect someone else? Does this change if they are close with that person? She’s not a very suspicious or wary person, but obviously if she notices something fishy, she’s gonna be a little cautious.

How does your character behave around children? Oh my God, if you put a baby in front of her she will gush and play with them for hours until the poor thing passes out. She absolutely loves kids.

How does your character normally deal with confrontation? .-. Goldie is a very confrontational woman. She does not give a fuck.

How quick or slow is your character to resort to physical violence in a confrontation? Ok, she gets pretty steamed and screamy, but she wouldn’t get violent. If anything, she would just storm out and go to the bar for a couple hours.

What did your character dream of being or doing as a child? Did that dream come true? She wanted to be a singer when she was little, which I think is a dream most little girls had (I know I did haha). Obviously, no, it did not come true.

What does your character find repulsive or disgusting? Food that doesn’t look or smell like food. She’s never really minded bugs, bugs are cool. But she’s kind of a food snob and likes to eat something that looks good and not like mushed grubs.

Describe a scenario in which your character feels most comfortable. She’s super comfortable in any kind of club or bar. She’s pretty comfy in the casino she works at cuz she knows that if anyone were to hit on her or try getting handsy, James would have them kicked out.

Describe a scenario in which your character feels most uncomfortable. She’s not very comfortable in a normal situation where she kinda has to pretend she’s not outgoing. James takes her to business parties sometimes and she haaaaaaaaates it.

In the face of criticism, is your character defensive, self-deprecating, or willing to improve? She finds criticism to be a very polite form of insulting people, so she gets defensive as fuck. But, if the situation is handled calmly, and there are strong points made, she is incredibly willing to improve.

Is your character more likely to keep trying a solution/method that didn’t work the first time, or immediately move on to a different solution/method? Her mom always told her “If at first you don’t succeed”, so if a method or solution doesn’t work at first, she’ll try it again cuz maybe she didn’t do it right the first time. But if it doesn’t work a second time, then she’ll move on.

How does your character behave around people they like? She is very bubbly and chatters about everything. She’s very open with people she likes.

How does your character behave around people they dislike? She’s a cynical and sarcastic bitch around people she can’t stand.

Is your character more concerned with defending their honor, or protecting their status? I would imagine she cares more about her honor than her status. “You’re a whore, you’re dating your boss!” “Ok, first off, rude. Secondly, during work hours, we have a very professional relationship. Thirdly, who’s dick I suck is none of your fucking business.”

Is your character more likely to remove a problem/threat, or remove themselves from a problem/threat? She’s the one to remove herself from the problem.

Has your character ever been bitten by an animal? How were they affected (or unaffected)? No, no animal bites.

How does your character treat people in service jobs? Like maids and mechanics and stuff? She is incredibly respectful of people who have jobs like that. Why would you be rude to people like that? They’re doing the stuff no one else really wants to do, they deserve a great amount of respect for that.

Does your character feel that they deserve to have what they want, whether it be material or abstract, or do they feel they must earn it first? No, she’s incredibly humble now. She works hard to get what she wants, even though James is more than willing to go out and buy her literally anything she asked for.

Has your character ever had a parental figure who was not related to them? Not really, she was a little sheltered growing up.

Has your character ever had a dependent figure who was not related to them? No, not really. I mean, if you can call little kids always going over to Goldie’s house growing up to get food when they played, then I guess?

How easy or difficult is it for your character to say “I love you?” Can they say it without meaning it? Before, if anyone told Goldie they loved her, she was out. Good-bye, gone. But she can look James dead in the eye and the words will tumble out so willingly and so easily that she doesn’t care.

What does your character believe will happen to them after they die? Does this belief scare them? Well, she used to be religious, so she believed that she would go to Heaven when she died. But, after everything she’s done in her life, she doesn’t really think that’s gonna happen and she’s fine with that.

Dear Blank, 

Okay, first things first, I love this step so much. It kills me and I want them to stomp on my grave like that. :)

YAAASSSSS! OMFFGGGGFGFGF

How are you? I feel like I never ask about you, but you can’t tell me how you are so I just feel stupid now. But I can tell you about me. 

I am good. I’m doing great, today was a good day. And I made an impulsive decision that I don’t know when I will start to regret, but for now, it’s fine. (i tipsy announced I’ll start writing again when I haven’t written since I put up my going away post)

Well, today I went to Dreamy’s place, but I couldn’t tell him that I reached the station cause I was out of credit, and I had to top up my hop card as well. Since the machines can’t take fifty’s, I went to a dairy to get recharge and get change so I can top up. On the way to the dairy, I saw a cute security guy and we smiled at each other, for some reason wearing huge black clothes that make me look like a cloud of darkness makes me feel more comfortable and confident. 

Okay, I lied, he wasn’t cute cute, but he was cute like ‘oh, i can lead him on.’ I am a horrible person if you haven’t realised. But that was for like a moment, and I got over it the moment he walked out of my sight lol. 

Alright, I have my credit now and I text Dreamy that I’m here, and start walking back to the station to top up because I thought we were going to catch the bus back. So, I’m walking, alright, and these two guys are standing by the entrance of the station pathway, and one of them (the older man) starts to walk away from the other guy, and towards me. He looks at me and smiles, and I smile back, cause everyone is so friendly in this neighbourhood omg. 

The guy points to the other guy and says something along the lines of ‘he is a nice guy and single.’ He says it as a joke, so I politely laugh, and look at the guy and do the awkward laugh thing as I continue walking past him. Now, Blank, I hear a voice from behind me. Through my earphones blasting GOT7′s new lit af album; I turn around and see that he was talking to me. I see his hand by his head, his thumb and pinky finger out like a was’good sigh, but he meant it like a phone and I was like ‘woah, wth?!”

I take an earphone out and an old lady walks between us, and he calls out ‘do you have a number?’ I can’t believe my ears, so I walk closer and am like ‘sorry?’ and he’s like ‘can I have your number?’

Now, for a moment I forgot I was twenty and that I’m a second-year uni student. I stare at him and lowkey stammer, wanting to say that I’m too young for this, cause for a moment I REALLY THOUGHT I WAS 17. But, I couldn’t really say anything cause he was like ‘oh are you taken?’ and instantly, I thought back to Dreamy, and we talked about this, and we are supposed to say ‘Nah, we’re single’ cause we are just friends with benefit. But, I think I took too long cause he was like ‘oh algoods’ while I was still stumbling over my words. 

I say sorry and thank you for the tenth time, and turn and walk away to the station and top up. Coincidently, as I was walking back out, I saw the guy again and we did the little omg hi, again thing. The guy from before was back, and he looked at me, and pointed at him and was like ‘he has a number, take his number.’ 

I saw the guy turn around and look at me and I was like, ‘what do I say?’ and he was like ‘you want it?’

Before I could say anything, he started taking his phone out and I was like ‘oh well.’ 

So now I have a guy, whose name is Diamond, on my phone. He said he wanted to take me out for coffee, but I really don’t have time for that shit. lol, but it still felt good. 

And then I met Dreamy and told him that a guy gave me his number, and ordered food. We also got my beloved Vodka, so I think I’m okay now. 

Now, Blank, it’s time for a special segment I like to call:

So, my first question is what is squirting?

I start getting dressed and his like stop and im like, ‘i think we should just chill now.’ at this point I am almost about to start crying by how horrified I am. He comes back after washing his hands, and looks at me and is like ‘what are you doing?’ 

I’m trying to wear my undies and get dressed boii, what does it look like im doing?

He’s like ‘hey, stop,’ or something like that, but like in a nice soft way and even though that was really sweet and exactly what I needed, it made me want to cry more. A bit like how you feel when you make a mistake and instead of getting mad at you, your parents are just disappointed or upset and that makes you feel more shitty? yeah, kinda like that.

Moral of the lesson: MAKE SURE THE GUY (OR GIRL) THAT YOU ARE HAVING SEX WITH IS A GOOD PERSON, AND THAT YOU ARE COMFORTABLE WITH THEM. Later on, we were laying in bed, and I started playing with his hair. I wanted to see how long it’d take him to fall asleep, and it was pretty quick. He snored a bit, and I felt kinda proud for some reason. I think I moved my hand a little and he woke up mid-snore. But then later on, when he said that I woke up mid snore too so I guess it’s normal? I don’t know. 

But, the thing is Blank, I must be really really comfortable with this kid that I met a few months ago. I find sleeping in front of people so weird, it’s like- I don’t know. I don’t have control over my body at that moment, and this person can wake up and just look at me. I’m probably drooling, snoring or farting, or I sleep with my eyes open, or I sleep talk. I don’t know. It just seems very very intimate to me, and I can’t just sleep in front of people, but I can with him and it’s nice. I really glad to be friends with him.

Also, he climbed through a window into his house because we got locked out, and he has big feet. It’s cute. lol. 

Okay, so this Wednesday now:

I went to the dentist, almost got into argument with her because she said that I didn’t try hard enough to contact her. But I went to her office and waited for like an hour before I left after leaving a note. It’s not my fault her service as gone so bad. I like her, but sometimes I don’t know. Everyone has bad days; I’ll just blame it on Big Boss. 

That’s it for now. 

I’m going to look for my glasses now, and then make a list of all the lectures I need to catch up on. Then maybe write for my other blog; I’ve started it up again and I’m so happy seeing some of my readers telling me they so happy Im back hehe. 

Also, my girl came to uni looking like a snack! She’s so pretty and her body looked sooo good in the playsuit? jumpsuit? Like her booty!! DAAAMNNNN!! She just looked really good. 

I think I’ll just buy my leather jacket rn instead of waiting. Maybe next week, after I give Mausi money. I should talk to Fairy about working and everything, but I don’t want to be pushy. But Mausi is in a shitty place too, I don’t know. It’s not my place to speak, but someone needs to talk to him to figure out what’s going on inside his head. 

It was a good day today. 

I’m happy. 

Also, I love GOT7. Their new comeback is amazing. I think this is my favourite one. I think this one might have topped all the others and all the promotions. I am so happy to see them so well! I really pray for the best for them! <3

THE SKY:

The sky was almost in darkness when I saw it. Or maybe, it was in complete darkness but it was the light pollution and the cloudiness that made it seem lighter? But it looked so pretty, it warmed my heart for some reason. The wind was crispy cold; staying true to its late winter name, but the sky looked so warm. 

It was tinted purple, dark lavender if possible? And it was smudgy and so so beautiful. The apartment buildings that stood in front of the bench I sat on in the station added to the backdrop, and I think it made me feel warm because it reminded me of the life I want to be living. I want to live in an apartment or somewhere alone, where I can sit outside after nightfall and watch the sky. I want to be able to see the glowing streetlights and the endless sky and not feel worried or anxious. I just want to be able to enjoy the sky. 

Why is that so hard, Blank?
