Fontaine Characters with Violinist Reader!

A/N: This disappearing thing of mine is annoying, I'm trying to stop it. However, I finally got a bit of spare time to play Genshin and I am so, so in love with Fontaine. I think it's gonna be a wonderful arc. I haven't felt this much jubilation since Liyue or Inazuma!

Warnings; None, really.

Lyney, Lynette, Neuvillette, Navia, Furina, Wriothesley (no particular order)

Lyney

First off, this boy is no stranger to performing, an activity he loves. Naturally, he's going to be most interested in fellow performers, including you!

If you're the type to get anxious before, or even during a performance, say goodbye to that with him. He'll guide you through plenty of destressing rituals to help you relax beforehand.

(This included, but wasn't limited to; Taking deep breaths, doing tongue twisters, asking you to play meme songs on your violin, or tickling your sides because 'laughing is a great way to be loose'.)

Even during, should you freeze up and he's in the audience, he'll do a quick but loud magic trick to get everyone's eyes off you. Even one that makes him look like a fool, so long as you have time to put yourself together.

He'd LOVE to have you on stage with him! He adores your music and would ask you to sync it up with dramatic moments in his magic.

If you compose you own stuff, he's pretty much your biggest fan. The guy who never misses a concert. The loudest clapper. The biggest braggart.

"That gorgeous, graceful violinist we had the pleasure of watching? What if I told you that they're coupled up with an equally electric performer? That is, me~."

Lynette

It's easy to think that her brother outdoes her in terms of being your fan, but quietness hides a lot. If you think she doesn't care as much, you're so, so wrong.

She learned several music skills just to be closer to you, including sight-reading. BTW, she's got a killer voice and loves to sing out your compositions. Sometimes it helps you come up with alternative movements within them.

She can also play piano, to a good level of accompaniment. With time, one would think she is also a music assistant; It's not uncommon for her to be on your stage.

Lynette is VERY attentive to your instrument. Does it need rosin? A new bow, perhaps a re-hair? You just say the word, and she'll happily take it to the repair workshop if you have no time.

"By the way, Y/N prefers real horse hair, the thinnest you have. Don't worry. They're talented enough to thrive on it.".

She makes it a point to let you know how much she loves what you do: "All other music in Fontaine pales in its beauty next to yours. Please, keep playing.".

Neuvillette

You play the violin? (he crosses his legs and assumes his royal position). So when are you going to get married? Will you be okay playing a few pieces, even while being the spouse? /Half-joking, tbh.

For him to say that he is the lover of a music pioneer as important as you... Will never not be a moment of joy for him.

First off, what a sugar daddy. I hope you made a list of the expensive violins you wanted but couldn't afford. Because now, it's yours, never mind the Mora. Your very case may as well be coated with gold.

He won't die on this hill, but he would love it if you could play a bit during the parties he hosts. He loves live music to begin with, but after hearing you, it feels like no other pro could hope to sound as good as you.

(And side note, he likes how mesmerized everyone is with you lol)

If you're the type to remember your patron's personal preferences, and compose/play in accordance to that, just for him? Put hearts in his eyes. He's no longer joking about the wedding thing.

While he loves showing you off, he'll never force you if you're shy/nervous. If anything, he would also feel very special if he got to heard songs not out yet, compositions just for him...

"Perhaps this is Lady Furina's way of rewarding me for my years of service. Bless our Archon for giving me such a talented, show and heart-stopping partner.".

Navia

She likes that the Spina del Rosula is represented by passionate, talented people!

If you like sweets, I say just join her team. It's guaranteed pastries after each request lol.

Her detective work is cool, but can get a bit drab after a while. She likes asking you to play some violin ambiance, partly because it makes her feel cool, and partly because your music changes the atmosphere for much better.

Navia is a woman of decorum, but she'll often have trouble staying still during your concerts. It doesn't matter if there are rules to how loud a woman can cheer, she's happy for you and will make sure you know that.

She becomes even more proactive than usual. If a concert of yours falls on the same time as her work, she'll scour the ends of Teyvat for its solution, so she can see you.

With time, she might request you to play pieces that her father loved. Once they're brought back to life, through your own strings, she can't help but be a little emotional. She must have done something wonderful to have you.

"How beautiful, how poignant as you, my dear Y/N! This calls for macaroons! Which flavor would you like today?".

Furina

"Yes, Neuvillette, I know they perform and all, but why can't I keep them to myself! They're so darn great, I want that everyday!"

Of course, she's not gonna stop you, but beware; I feel like Furina would almost turn you into her own personal violinist lol.

She'd keep requesting your presence over her other personal entertainment and somewhat bombard you with song requests. Buuut if you're looking for a varied repertoire, she's your gal!

One reason she requests so much is because she so impressed with how you not only fulfill them all, you do it so creatively and beautifully. You don't just follow the note as it is... Once you're acquainted with what she likes, you modify the tune a bit to be more her taste.

She's so cute when she claps; The way her hands go so fast and she's about to get up from the seat, the huge eye and smile... Why, you might start reconsidering her offer.

"Bravooooo, Y/N!! Bravo! That was everything, I can't go on without an encore!"

If the tune is more happy-go-lucky, she will get up and dance along. Will also do it in circles around you because she's your little orb :3

Wriothesley

"Forgive me for intruding... But I was overhearing, and your playing is terrific. Electrifying. Do you happen to perform on Saturday nights? That's when I can leave the Fortress for a bit.".

Of all your fans, Wrio is one of the quieter ones, but not so much that no one knows it. For one, he's a Duke, he's bound to enjoy good music. And heavens knows he needs some fun in his life.

Here's a fun thing (ngl this is what I was excited to write): At first, it doesn't sound like he can make it to your recital. You see him on his desk, surrounded by paper mountains that only ever seem to grow. He doesn't want to make you sad, but his remark lets you know that he's not coming: "Would it kill some of these people to tone it down for a bit so I can go see my partner perform?".

So imagine your shock when you step on stage, and see him on the first row, sitting tall and handsome, shit-eating grin on his face and waving. You really bought it for a moment.

"Hehe... Did you really think I can't even make a bit of time to see Fontaine's best violinist in action? You actually bought that?".

I HC that he has insomnia, and has tried any things to cure it, but to no avail. It's rumored in Fontaine that his is incurable, but little do they know about how he lays down next to your sitting form. Little do they know of the soft lullabies you composed just for him, or how peacefully he dreams afterwards 💜

Obey Me! Brothers and what kind of games I think they'd play

this is a very biased list (and long post) based off of games that I've played before :) (jk its really not biased, just games I think they would play!) I made this because I couldn't sleep last night and had brain worms-- Will probably make one for the dateables sometime soon, but this list is just the brothers!

Lucifer

Traditional Board Games.

There have been MANY times where he's been playing various board games with you, Diavolo, and Simeon.

Gets VERY competitive over games like Sorry!, Monopoly, Trouble.... Candy Land???

Will only let Diavolo win.

Shows no mercy to anyone else, including you. Sorry, love.

Card Games.

Particularly amazing at Poker. He would not let Mammon know this... until you guys have an in-house Poker night and he literally takes all??? Has the best poker face you've ever seen.

Won't even let you guys beat him at Uno or Go Fish. Boooooooo.

Puzzle Games.

I could see Luci being very good at Tetris for some reason?

One time Levi challenged him to the game to try and get out of going to RAD one day...

Let's just say he had to go to RAD that day and also had to stay over on cleaning duty. Courtesy of getting absolutely DESTROYED.

Controversial Pick: Rhythm Games.

I could 100000% see Luci tearing up some OSU! But only when all of the brothers are asleep and he's completed most of his work.

They help him unwind.

Gambling Games/Apps.

Where I live you can just gamble from home because it's legal to have and play gambling apps?

He would have SO many on his D.D.D. They're taking up so much of his storage space.

Plays them a lot when you're around because he thinks that you're his good luck charm.

He also goes on a lot of Horse Racing and Sports Betting sites...

It got so bad that Lucifer had to figure out how to IP block him from these. it doesn't stop him--

Gacha Games.

Has absolutely insane luck for some reason??? Only on gacha games, tho.

Has definitely played Genshin Impact and Honkai Starrail because of Levi.

He got those 5 star and Ultra Rare pulls he wanted in his first 1-10 pulls? But you? It took you over 100 pulls to get what you wanted. WTF?????

You swear he must be cheating the system somehow. There is NO WAY.

Racing Games.

Particularly the ones that you can have a full racing setup for.

He's splurged thousands of Grimm on this.

Gran Turismo? Forza? F1? iRacing? He has them all.

He is VERY picky about who he lets touch his decked out setup... He'll let you use it any time you want, though. :) You're his treasure, ofc

Controversial Pick: Old School MMOs

Definitely played Old School RuneScape or Black Desert Online or Classic WoW and created gold farming empires.

Doesn't even do end game content, he's just a guild leader making bank off the work of his members.

He probably hosts fun events though.

Would definitely be the kind of guy that makes up scavenger hunts/fashion shows/trivia nights/etc. and gives out sick prizes...

Might also rig these to make sure you or his officers win the best prizes. How sweet.

Leviathan

He is literally THE gamer.

There probably isn't a single genre of game he hasn't played.

His favorite games are definitely MMORPGs and Visual Novels/Dating Sims/Bishojos/Gal games.

Could see him as a raid lead in all of the biggest MMOs like WoW, FFXIV and GW2.

He also 100% visits the degenerate RP server places like Moon Guard's Goldshire and Balmung's Quicksand.

He's definitely not a BLUSHING MESS and rushing to close his game if you catch him in one of these places!!! He would never go there!!! Oh... you want to join him? DEFINITELY NOT.

He would get too jealous of anyone daring to look at you to even let you breath in the vicinity of these degen realms.

He's also done plenty of MMO Ironman challenges and was one of the first people to complete Classic Hardcore WoW entirely solo. Didn't even group for dungeons. What a MAN.

Bishojo/Gal games are his guilty pleasure, how could they not be?

He gets all the waifus with none of the jealousy, right???

Loves JRPGs and Soulslike games.

Has definitely beaten Elden Ring more times than he can count. Knows literally all of the ins, outs, and secrets and is eagerly anticipating the DLC.

Has probably played every single Final Fantasy game and beaten them all. Would very much have a soft spot for FF4, FF7, and FF9.

Could definitely see him playing MOBAs and 4x strategy/Grand strategy games.

He's not the Grand Admiral of Hell's Navy for nothin'. He knows strategy games like the back of his hand.

The only brother that ever rivals him in strategic knowledge is Satan. (and Lucifer, but we're talking about GAMES here.)

He spends countless hours on League of Legends.

He mains JG/Mid and gets very toxic.

Has favorite characters, but honestly just plays whatever is in meta.

Owns every skin for Ahri, Lux, Katarina, Evelynn, and Akali.

He's definitely in Challengers.

Would 100% make a Smurf account if you wanted to play and would duo bot with you.

He'd play ADC and do anything to protect you, his loving support.

Would not be toxic in your games (unless you are too).

Controversial pick: Casual Mobile Games

Played Flappy Bird all the time when it was popular, still has a cracked copy on his D.D.D... I don't think anyone is beating his high score.

He's got a ridiculous amount of hours on Candy Crush, Angry Birds, and Fruit Ninja.

Would throw his D.D.D into his fish tank and have Henry 2.0 guard it before he'd ever let you catch him on one of these 'normie' games...

But... he secretly likes them so much.

Satan

Hear me out, Satan would be a SUCKER for CYOA (Choose-your-own-adventure)/IF (Interactive Fiction) text games.

Would have Choice of Games, Hosted Games, and Heart's Choice hidden on his D.D.D.

He LOVES immersing himself in story games and creating various MCs.

Oh, look! An RO that reminds him of you? Don't mind him self-inserting.

Probably has character sheets made for his favorite MCs. 

Will play through his favorite stories many, many times.

It all started with Choice of the Deathless and now he owns every game on each platform? (I'm jealous)

Also goes on Dashing Don... What do you MEAN author hasn't finished this story yet? AAAA-

Detective/Mystery/Escape Rooms Games.

I don't think any explanation is needed here. It's just who he is.

Would definitely get all of his brothers (minus Lucifer) together to do a virtual escape room... Unfortunately, it became so chaotic they never finished it. Oh well.

Once played Phasmophobia with Levi, Beel, and Belphie. Was very proud of himself for figuring out the ghost... Definitely did not sacrifice his brothers for the info.

Life Sims.

Specifically ones that let you own or are centered around cats.

Has played every single Sims game and bought their cat and dogs expansions.

Definitely did NOT recreate you and himself with 6 cute cats!!!

He did NOT get the mod that extends household size so that you two could own 97 cats. He wouldn't do that, no way!!!

...Was there actually a baby in the household, too..? Why did it have his hair and your eyes...? SATAN?!?!

you know the Catz DS game? He owned every single version and will NOT let you touch them... Okay. Maybe he gave into letting you touch them, but ONLY when he's supervising!

Very much enjoys RTS Games.

He's scarily good at games like StarCraft Brood Wars/2, the Age of Empires franchise, or Rise of Nations.

He's also gotten into 4x games like Stellaris and Civ. Thanks, Levi.

Don't try and challenge him, he can beat the hardest bots and WIN... THE BOTS LITERALLY CHEAT.

Asmodeus

Dress-up/Fashion/Stylist Games.

SuitU, Love Nikki, Covet Fashion - you name it.

He has all of them on his D.D.D and will shell out major Grimm to get any outfit he likes.

Might try to make the outfits he gets in these games for himself and you, because you're the perfect model!

Has a lot of fun with it and might try and talk you into playing with him.

Will definitely post amazing outfits he makes in-game on Devilgram. Will also post countless photos and videos of you two modeling those outfits he brings to life.

...NSFW/Eroge Games.

Not gonna go into detail on these ones because you already know what I mean.

Enjoys playing those games that haunt the front pages of my Steam.

Would proudly play them in front of you to laugh at how ridiculous they are sometimes (as long as you're 18+)

Like Satan, I could see him enjoying Life Sims...

Unlike Satan, it's not because he wants animals.

Plays games like the Sims, Stardew Valley, and Sun Haven.

Self-inserts himself and will romance EVERYONE.

Has the mods where you can marry every single villager and the bed mod that makes your bed MASSIVE so all your husbands and wives can sleep with you.

Made a Sims save with just himself romping around town... No sim is safe from Asmo.

Specifically things like VRChat or Chillout VR.

Loves Cooking Games or Food-themed Games...

He just can't play them for long, however.

One time you got him to play Cooking Mama with you, Luke, Simeon, and Solomon but you had to stop because he got so hungry that he was trying to eat the television????

Would have to bring in MANY snacks and vow to make dishes from the games if you wanted to play these with him around... Which is a shame because he genuinely enjoys them. 

I could see him loving Multiplayer Party/Minigame Games like Mario Party or WarioWare.

He doesn't care if he wins, he just loves having you guys around.

Now, I know what you're thinking. Beel is a gentle giant and wouldn't play these types of games...

But! I could see him forming 5 stacks with you and his brothers in games like CS2 and Valorant and being scarily good because of his amazing hand-eye coordination and reaction times?

Like he and Levi could easily carry you guys to high Asc/Low Immortal lobbies.

He would just play fill when everyone's around, but his mains would be Kay-O and Breach.

He would always be the initiator in Counter-Strike, following Levi's IGL calls perfectly.

He would also probably love playing games like Squad or Modern Warfare or Battlefield with all of his brothers, you + the dateables.

Belphie

Our resident Horror Game lover.

They give him ideas on how to prank his brothers dreams.

Once made Mammon go through Outlast in his dreams (nightmares??).

You better run, little pig.

But he genuinely enjoys them... When he can stay awake through them.

Loved playing through games like Amnesia... Unfortunately for you, his love for puzzle psychological horror probably contributed to how he acted in Act 16 OM--

Here is my part of @shepscapades​ ‘s character design challenge! I went with drawing non-life-series hermits as red lifers.

originally I just did Welsknight, but I was on a roll so I added Xb as well, and,,, you can’t separate Xb from Keralis so he’s here too, being his,,, lovely self (wow look at that eldritch horror K propaganda)

(Below the cut I’ve added individual shots of them all without the gradient layer I used as shading here, and I talk a wee bit about the designs etc.)

Some general notes include:

originally I intended for Wels to be working for Ren during 3rd life, but then I was plagued by visions so this is actually set on an original life series season I’ve been calling wanted life (pspsps come closer,,, ask me about this I swear I’ll be normal and not abandon all my current projects to develop a fic or something)

All three of them are an allied, their base Is in a snowy mountain (which is why Wels and Xb have the fur collars) I don’t know what their alliance is called but I’ll figure it out probably

Wels went red first, due to some unfortunate luck regarding the gimmick of this made up season, and had been red for a while before eventually Keralis also joins him on the reds. Xb is the last to turn, and in fact survives on so long that by that time Wels has already lost his last remaining life.

Here’s Wels! My pride and joy! I really wanted to do him because it’d be a great excuse of designing some armor again, without having to chain myself into having to do that for every life series member when I eventually draw them

Originally, to make him seem more intimidating, I was going to put him in a massive suit of armor, but after gathering my references I realized it might be hard to make work with my,,, centaur design for him (You can’t put all that heavy shit on a horse I’m pretty sure!) So instead I just, gave him an different suit of armor than I usually do. If you’re wondering what might be up with all the eye imagery, It’s,,, mostly because I couldn’t figure out anything better to put there so I gave him all the eye imagery I couldn’t give Keralis on account of him being,,, naked.

The really fun part about his design though,,, is his big-ass anime sword! If you can’t tell I was heavily referencing a few genshin impact weapons for this. When he’s green/yellow the eye is closed and only opens when he gets to red.

Xb! He’s a shark. And he has a bow.

I don’t have much to say of him since I was mostly just winging everything here,,, He’s a shark because I like them, he has a bow because hes good with them. the bow looks like that because I wanted it to vaguely look like the same Genshin esque bullshit that Wels’s sword does.

I did give him black eyeliner,,, I,,, can’t remember why I did that but hey it’s there.

You know how in genshin the commissions are really weird. For me at least since I had to fight hilichurls then talk to Albert then talk to an old man. Yeah, I don’t know if you know how this is gonna end. It’s a weird in so buckle up.

Lumine and Paimon were doing commissions for money when they saw a commission for a random person. It didn’t say what they needed help with but it would give Lumine something to do.

They walked to the place to see a young male with black and white colored hair. He looked no older than 18 and seemed to be really tired and exhausted. Concerned paimon floated to the boy “Mr? You good?” The male looked up in confusion before it was replaced with happiness.

“Yeah! I’m just really tired from looking for my love. He ran away so fast I couldn’t see where he went.” His voice was heart broken and the air around them turned sad. But something was off Lumine noticed it sooner than Paimon.

“Why…Why did they run away from you if they’re your partner?” She was hesitant to ask the male but his yellow eyes looked at her with a scary glint in them. She had taken notice of his clothes. They don’t look like Mondstadt clothes, but more like Fontaine.

“Exactly, that’s why I’m worried for them. Mind helping me look for him?” He asked with a closed eyes smile. The blonde haired girl didn’t trust him but something was telling her that if she didn’t something bad will happen to the boy who ran away.

She nodded her head slowly making the male jump up in excitement before running off in a direction. “Come on then! I can’t wait to see them again!” He yelled out. “Paimon doesn’t trust this guy. But Paimon thinks we should help the person who ran away.” Paimon worriedly said as they ran after the bi-colored male.

After running for sometime the male, who Lumine forgot to ask the name of, started to call out the persons name.

“M/N! My darling! Please come out! I don’t know what scared you but love I’m getting really worried.” He went from tree to tree his gloved hands traced the bark of the plant. The male turned around to Lumine with a slight glare but it switched to a small smile.

“Can you go look by the river down there? If you see a H/c boy tell him that Leo is looking for him.” Leo told Lumine as he speed off in a different direction. Both paimon and Lumine look at each other before running to the river nearby.

“Now we have that weird boys name, Leo, and the person who we need to help, M/n. Paimon thinks when we find M/n we should bring him to the knights of Favonius!” Paimon high pitched voice was loud enough that they almost didn’t hear the sounds of running. But they caught onto the sound causing both of them to look over and see a messy H/c boy running into the river. His clothes were ripped here and there and he seemed to have bruises on his neck.

“That’s the boy!” Paimon yelled scaring M/n who had the look of fear all over his face. Lumine grabbed an apple and shoved it in the white haired girls mouth. Taken back the floating child became quiet.

“We aren’t going to hurt you. But we need you to come with us so you can be somewhere safe.” Lumine gently spoke to the male who seemed more suspicious of the two.

“Y-Your not gonna bring me back to Leo……right?” He sounded like he hasn’t talk in a while or he screamed a lot that his voice sounded horse.

Lumine shook her head and held out her hand. Hesitantly, the boy grabbed her hand but once he did the sounds of the two colored boy was heard.

“Darling? We need to get home! Please…..I-I’m getting really worried!” The more the guy talked the more he sounded desperate. The blond haired girl took off running towards Mondstadt her footsteps were barely heard. They all ran until they reached the city.

“Paimons gonna go get Barbara! Be right back.”

She left you and Lumine alone causing silence over you two. Your e/c shined with excitement, it’s been so long since you where out an about without Leo with you.

“Do you want to walk around while we wait for Paimon? It’s gonna take a while.” Lumine looked at you, the question made you nod your head quickly. You both walked around Mondstadt looking at everything from flowers to the alchemy stand. Everything was amazing while the two of you walked.

Key word was. It didn’t take long for Leo to realize that the blonde haired girl was gone. Of course he was freaking out his delusional mind thought Lumine took you. Which in this case she did, just with your consent. There’s a difference. After some time he gave up and went back to his home. He will look for his Love tomorrow.

“IS HE A PIRATE?!?” With sparkling eyes you pointed at Keaya who was in the grand master’s office. There were other like Amber, Lisa, Jean and uhm venti? You seemed so innocent that no one would suspect that you were just saved from a crazy person.

“He kinda is-“

“THATS SO COOOL! Have you ever found any treasure?!” You continued to talk to Keaya who’s wondering what the heck is happening but still puts on a smile. “Traveler, can you explain why you brought this boy here?” Jean asked as you kept asking Keaya and Amber different questions about different things. They seemed to be having fun.

“Well we were doing a commission when a boy said that he needed help looking for his ‘Love’. So we helped him only to find out he kidnapped that boy over there.” Paimon spoke with Lumine nodding her head to confirm what she’s saying. Jean, Lisa and Venti froze for a moment before repeating the last part.

“He…..was kidnapped?”

Lumine nodded her head again before M/n ran up to hug her. Almost causing both of them to fall if it wasn’t for Lumines balance.

“Thank you….” He seemed tired due to his voice drifting off. Everyone was ‘awing’ in their minds at the cuteness before them. Clearing her throat Jean spoke up. “It seems like you are tired. If you want I could get a room ready or do you want to stay with traveler?” With happy eyes they got their answer.

After some time you got comfortable with Lumine and the rest of mondstadt. You didn’t really leave Lumines side a lot only going with someone else when you saw that she needed some space. You forgot about Leo.

It was only when hanging out with Venti and Diluc at the Tavern that made you remember Leo. It was nothing the two did it was the crazed man himself. You were talking with Diluc about how grape juice looks like wine and apple juice look kinda like beer. In the middle of talking the door opened to which Diluc paused the conversation to say welcome.

“M/n?” Leo called out to you. Venti saw how you froze so he looked at who called you. He met eyes with the yellow ones that screamed ‘I’m-going-to-kill-you’.

“YOU!” The sudden burst shocked everyone nearby. What shocked them more was the sounds of chairs crashing down to the floor. With sounds of breaking class following soon after.

Venti was on the ground with Leo on top of him with a piece of broken glass in his hands. The broken glass so close to his throat that it would cut him if he moved the slightest.

Before he could do any damage to Venti, Diluc was able to grab him while another person took the glass from him. Leo was trying to fight Diluc but was unable to.

M/n ran over to Venti to check if he was ok. Thankfully he was and the bard hugged the male in front of him to calm him down. Jean and the rest of the knights of Favonius arrived to take Leo away.

Everything was done now and the story ends.

M/n is safe from Leo, Leo is in jail, Venti is stalking M/n, Lumine is happy that M/n is safe, M/n joins Lumine to help find her brother, people are mysteriously dying in the regions they all go to. M/n is making lots of friends! See happy ever after!

They didn't hear you pleads or prehaps just ingored you. You end up falling back to the same place you were. You look as they fade into the distance. They embark on the journey missing one last person, you.

'Those idiots! Maybe this was their chance to get rid of me, but I didn't do anything wrong! Or at least that I know of.' You look up at the sky just for thunder to go off as the grey clouds start to rain.

I love that the Yellow Wind King is just a little fluffball. He must look so adorable in his original form! He might specifically be a Mustela Sibirica also known as Siberian Weasel or Kolonok which are native to Asia. Funfact in German they are also called Fireweasel! These little guys certainly look the ‘yellow’ part of the Yellow Wind King!

Though it could also be a Martes Zibellina, a subspecies of Marten whose habitat borders on Eastern China and which has a yellow winter coat. The J. F. Jenner and German translation went with marten as well.

Either way, an adorable little critter! So have another picture!

Summary: When a lone rider stumbles upon a beaten-up-looking Kaeya, deciding to take pity on him he helps the rough-looking man.

The sun was beating down on the poor dark-skinned guy as he lays up against a large oak tree, bloody and beaten after a group of thieves ambushed him. While trying to fight them off his horse got spooked in the commotion bucking him off the saddle and sending him flying onto the ground, the thieves took advantage of that beating him to a pulp and stealing all his shit.

The sound of someone approaching where he lies was heard in the distance, with what little energy he has Kaeya looks over to see a massive cloud of sand and dust kicking getting closer to him. 'Must be a damn big horse if it's making all that big of an impact on the ground.' The battered man was indeed correct as a huge Percheron horse came from the smoke, its black coat shining in the sun as the muscles shifted with the power of its canter.

Kaeya could not see too much of the rider but all he knows is that with the horse and the outfit the cowpoke wears it looks like the grim reaper is coming for him. He closes his eyes hoping that the rider will just pass and not try to rob him as he has nothing left, his stupid Arabian horse ran off like the pussy it is. Much to his dismay, the cowboy stops right in front of him, how can he tell? The clunking of the colossal horse's feet is so loud that he can feel the dust blowing into his face and into his nose almost making him go into a coughing fit.

"Hey mister, you don't look so good..." A gentle but rough voice calls out to him as he opens one eye, the other covered by an eye patch. A deep county accent carries with the man in front of him, the cowboy's (s/c) skin gleams as the sun is right behind him making him look like an angel. Kaeya looks up and down the rider, a black mask donning his face along with a rugged hat. The rest of his outfit consists of red, black, and white, an pistol sits on top of a wonderfully made vest that looks mighty pricely.

A gloved hand snaps its fingers in front of his face, as he registered that the cowpoke jumped down and is now waving a hand in front of the dark-skinned man's face. "Howdy! Did you hear me, sir? Are you alright??" The ringing in his ears now dimming down a bit, as he shakes his head a meager 'no' as a response. Kaeya thinks that if he talked his voice would come out as barely a whisper.

A worried look flashes on the cowboy's face pacing before him, the (s/c) hand wiping sweat off his eyebrow. "I- I can't just leave a man here-" the man in dark clothes quickly spins back around to face Kaeya. "Do you have a horse? What happened? Are you dying?" He begins to nervously ramble off questions that beat his brain, blue eyes just staring at him. If Kaeya could laugh without hurting his bruised ribs then he would be dying on the floor seeing as such an intimidating man can be acting like such a softie.

"OH, I SHOULD PROBABLY GET YOU SOMETHING TO DRINK!" The man grabs a flask from his belt and holds it up to Kaeya's face, helping him drink down the last of the water. After waiting for a little, the dark-skinned man finally seems to get ahold of his voice. "Got robbed.. by a few scums and my stupid horse ran for the hills somewhere." (Y/n) nods, as he looks over to the direction where Kaeya shakily points his finger talking about the path his mount went. "Ah, I can go get 'em for ya' what does your horse look like?" (Y/n) ask, his eyes shifting back to the gruesome-looking guy in front of him. "He is an um-" A cough rattles the man, quickly moving his right arm to wrap around his ribs trying to rub the pain quickly away. "Sorry, he's a black roan arabian, he scares easily so it might be a hassle catching him though."

An overconfident smile makes its way onto the rider, as he let's out a rough chuckle. "Well, you ain't nev'a seen me and my boy in action. I can catch just 'bout anything." He walks forward and hoists his arms carefully around Kaeya holding him in a bridal position, making sure not to hurt him as he walks closer to his draft stallion. "Wait- wait what are you doing?" Kaeya speaks up quickly, his arms finding themselves around the other's neck tightly. "Well, I ain't gonna leave ya here am I?" He boosts Kaeya up onto his mount, soon hoisting himself up behind him. His arms reach around Kaeya's waist grabbing his horse's reins, his chin resting lightly over Kaeyas shoulder and arms barely laying upon the other's hips. "Alrighty bud, go!" He whips the reins, faintly tapping the edge of his boots against his percherons side, yanking his horse's head to the way Kaeya pointed to. "By the way sir, I'm (y/n) and this is my bud Gale" (Y/n) speaks up, not wanting to be riding with someone who doesn't even know his name. "Kaeya, my name is Kaeya.." A little sly smile makes its way onto Kaeya's face as he leans back onto the chest of the other, his pecks feel like plush feeling better than most pillows Kaeya ever has had.

Okay some context setting: so when the cast encounters signora in RF nbd is there too. And since his family's whole thing is sharing a face with the anemo archon we thought it'd be funny if they did a little unintentional switcheroo with the two 😁

Signora can't tell who's the archon so she ends up targeting nbd because he runs his mouth more lol. And even if she's wrong, targeting someone from a family favoured by the god would surely draw him out (it does)

Now onto the thoughts!

Man if Venti wasn't fast enough and signora *got* got him,,,, Well for one Venti would be devastated. And nbd is the youngest of the descendants (around 17 as of now?), even younger than NB was towards the end of the rebellion. So I imagine that the other descendants would be somewhat doting and protective of the guy at times (not to mention his unspecified number of biological siblings) they would probably not take any of this well.

Though in this case the blame would likely go to signora first and foremost (rag d, who also lost his dad to the fatui: Maybe I will follow that diluc fellow and go on a fatui killing spree after all-) I can see the political relations between mond and the fatui straining even more because of this cuz no doubt shit got strained in canon but a death? One of a prominent family no less? Yeah that's not gonna slide.

But yeah I think looking at venti would hurt them all for a while. Ad would probably try to approach him the most since she was in on it the longest after nbd and knows venti more as a person. But she was also very close with nbd so oof.

Rag d and Kaeya would probably both need some time. Rag d is in on it and would know the reason but both he and Kaeya were raised very closely with nbd's family because the Ragnvindr line in RF was re-founded by NB via adoption (rip to red haired warrior, died bitchless) so uh that was basically their little brother??? Yeah. I wonder who would be more upset. The guy that knows that venti is a god and thus the reason why nbd had a target put on his back? Or the guy that only knows venti as the "cousin" that popped out of nowhere and has his suspicions about the guy. They'd both go and comfort nbd's family though

Speaking of nbd's family, they're also in the know. So would they look at their (warped and misinterpreted) duty differently? Death was never part of the deal so why did their youngest have to go? Would it be an honour to die with the anemo archon by his side? Or a tragedy because not even a god could stop it?

Jean would probably try to prioritise her duty before her own feelings but her grief might leak through while dealing with the political matters perhaps (maybe Ad will join her and finally use her political skills)

Eula swears vengeance and not just as a form of speaking. You killed her friend, one of the ones who defended her from the people (the other being amber ofc). Prepare to die.

Oh and Venti,,, I wonder what venti would do tbh. I see him as someone who has a good grasp and control over his emotions after so many years of learning to deal with them. But something that /gets/ him is his loved ones getting hurt. Also NB still gets shot in RF he just survives it so nbd getting hurt/killed would probably bring back some nastey memories. So would he let signora leave unscathed is the question 👀

Genshin Guys Headcanons- what I think their horses would look like bc horses do technically exist.

Kaeya

- chestnut colored

-not particularly strong, but very agile and a good jumper

-it was gifted to him by his and Diluc’s dad when he was a teenager and has been with him ever since

- he doesn't get out to ride it as much as he would like, but he visits it in the stable every day to clean it's stall and feed it and keep it company

-it’s currently the only horse in the knights’ stable

Diluc

-black with white fluff around it’s hooves

-big boy, built like a truck

- he usually only rides it to travel for business deals or around the winery since it's built for durability instead of speed

- Crepus wanted his horse and Kaeya’s horse to compliment each other so that they would be able to protect each other’ weaknesses

- pure white

- legends in Snezhnaya speak of the warrior of the Tsaritsa who rides a steed white as the snow. He blends in with the blizzards so well that you don't see him until it's too late. The only thing redder than his scarf is the blood of the enemies he's spilled

Yep! It was from a mobile otome/dating game called My Horse Princess. The MC sees this guy with a human face because she was born in the year of the horse to her people the horse looks normal. Its a real game

Anyway i dunno whose been vaguely aware of the p/al//world discourse over the weekend

But basically theres just.... way too many similarities between some of the designs and pokemon designs.... and one of the lead developers (studio owner? maybe??) has been super Pro-AI, to the point where the studio also has another game on steam thats AI powered.

And, like, the length of time we've been seeing PW on things like Summer Games Fest tells me that they probably didn't use AI for the designs of this game - theres too little time for AI to have designed them, and for them to have been modelled, rigged and coded into the game.

But boy they absolutely wanted to look as MUCH like Pokemon as possible.

And look, I dont think you could make a pokemon-like without having SOME similar designs going on. Theres SO many pokemon, and its also your point of inspiration, its kinda hard not to accidentally tread on the same ground?

Like, its entirely possible to make a game inspired by Pokemon where the creature designs and art style dont feel ripped off?? You dont need to do that!! These 2 games manage to have their own identity, even if theres some design elements that remind me of pokemon!!

And i wouldnt even say this is just "haters hating" or w/e.

Because the studio has had a game in early access since 2020 called... Craftopia. And boy does the main enemy design look... familiar

Theres also this guy (That i cant get a clear shot of) in the trailer that looks like a Moblin

And a rather small Hinox (which admittedly is a generic cyclops, but sure is a Choice to include it in your BOTW rip off)

In fact, the game generally looks like a Breath of the Wild rip-off with a much lower budget and Crafting stuffed in. Hell, even though it released around the same time... I'm pretty sure its also ripping off Genshin Impact.....

Even the choice of horse is ripping off Zelda.....

The first shot in the first trailer on Steam is literally a woman in her undies walking out of a cave, and going over to a cliff edge that overlooks the World. And like, its almost identical to the opening of BOTW. The biggest difference is the camera angle.

Like, this studio has a history of barely filing the serial numbers off? Likely looking to capitalise on the success of much bigger series to sell their own games.

And, like, thats just kinda scummy to me?? They clearly dont have any actually good ideas to sell to people. They need to make something that clearly looks like something else, to ride the success of the something else.

I have a good feeling that any future Pals added to this game will just be genAI designs based on existing pokemon. Its "family friendly look but with GUNS" purely to be Edgy, but the team just has a pokemon fusion generator rather than any actually good ideas for Creatures....

I dunno how it got so much attention at all these game shows for years, because it doesnt look like this developer deserves it.....
