I wasn’t expecting to face reveal so soon but I recently stumbled on some information that I feel all knitters and crocheters need to know! This video is from my TikTok but I thought I’d crosspost as I know Tumblr has a large community of hand crafters.

Hobbycraft is a UK craft store brand (trusted, don’t worry!) and they have HUNDREDS of free patterns for knitters and crocheters. I believe they can be use worldwide too - I don’t think this is UK exclusive.

Next one that I wanted to share was my first pokemon, which was a prototype before making one for my brother! Beautiful, playful, ever curious mew!!! Took me about 3 days once I got used to the pattern!!!

This cord was also made yesterday but I didn't have the spoons to post it last night after it was done. I put it on the dice bag I'd knit while pattern testing my diagonal stitch dice bag pattern, and ended up really liking how it looks, so if I end up selling all the dice bags I sewed a couple weeks ago, I may make an option to add a hand woven cord to go with it for a bit extra. It took about 2 hours to weave this one, including warping, but it's also only about 2 feet long because I didn't warp my loom to the max size it can do.

idk if anyone's actually done this, but ffxiv cosplay idea, ideally with multiple people: everyone wears the lv90 crafted disciple of hand gear set (the one with the suspenders, u know the one lol), brings something to craft (like a knitting project for example), then find a populated marketboard-adjacent area for all of you to kneel down and craft together

This project...oh boy this project. So. I hate the yarn I used, it was an odd cotton yarn and my fingers did NOT like the texture of it, it almost felt like knitting with cotton wool which I also do not enjoy the texture of and makes me want to crawl out of my skin suit. But, despite my obvious dislike of touching this yarn, I do love this project because of what it is.

I did not make this as a wearable scarf, my point in making this was more as a teaching tool, as a physical and visible example of climate change. Every four rows, (every two garter bumps?) is representative of one year. The colours, starting with the blue, represent the average global temperature starting from 1922 all the way to 2021.
