From me to you, I hope your Spring Equinox was a good one! It's been quite chaotic here, but mostly good I would say as the temperature is starting to rise and we're seeing the sun more often. I can't wait for cherry blossom season! It's one of my favourite times of the year :)

Just a few more pages for chapter 3! Thank you to everyone who's been reading along, and a special thank you to all my subscribers! You make this so special and I am so grateful for each one of you. I may take a day off once chapter 3 is done, but that will be announced next week.

How many more kitten pictures do I have to share? And why am I making such slow progress on cleaning my flat?

It frustrates me. When I hit 100 days of 'a kitten every day' I wanted to at least get my place ready by day 200, but that one passed by a few of weeks ago already. Then I thought by the end of March. Just in time for kitten season. But that day is slowly creeping up too.

I know part of it is sleep and time. I need to get my daily chores done, but my sleep cycle is so out of whack that my days are shortened, and I cannot find superfluous time. Part of it is the problematic nature of my back. The few times I have been able to do some cleaning, was followed by plenty of protest for days afterward. Another part of the problem is stored in the scale of what must be done. The last couple of years, filled with depression and back pain, have found a piling up of stuff, of papers and kitten toys and kitten beds and clothes. Clothes that don't make it up the stairs anymore. A kitchen table overflowing, because I don't use it anyway (should I just get rid of it?). Just stuff.

But most of it is a matter of discipline or whatever. Right? But how is the prospect of kittens not motivating me? I want them, I need them. I do! But I have unlearned the work that is required. It's impressive what our brains get used to and how hard it is to overcome it again.

Maybe I need to introduce 'a clean every day'. Those have worked for me so far. Shall I start tomorrow?

Hello internet people!

I made it! I just arrived back home from the hospital after finally having top surgery!

This is a massive step for me. Usually I don’t post too personal stuff but I feel like sharing some good news^^

Also while I stayed I read the entirety of dungeon meshi and it‘s amazing.

As soon as I am able to draw again I’m gonna be drawing so much fan art!

So yeah! Nice spring equinox everyone!

Today’s mood 🌸 Happy Spring!

I don’t wear pink very much, but I often do at the start of spring. My favorite is a soft, pale pink, just like the petals raining down. ^u^

Speaking of, some of my favorite pink Pokémon! Sakura (Cherrim), Dango (Wigglytuff), & Fauna (Sawsbuck).

BTW, did you know there’s a meaning to the hanami dango’s colors? Pink is for the flowers, white is for the lingering snow, & green is for the fresh, new leaves. 🍡
