What I Think the ADA's (plus Chuuya's) Coffee Orders Would Be (from a barista)

Dazai appreciates the simple things in life like death. So he doesn’t drink coffee, he just suffers from sleep deprivation (jk, he orders a traditional Japanese pour-over coffee)

Chuuya like his coffee the same way he likes his wine, fancy. He orders a double ristretto piccolo w/ hazelnut syrup (see the end of the post for an explanation of what that coffee is)

Yosano is an iced Americano kinda gal. Simple but good nonetheless. She is here for the flavour of coffee, not milk.

Ranpo gets an iced caramel frappe or an iced matcha with strawberry foam (keep in mind I’ve never actually had matcha but I assume this is really good).

Kenji orders a hot chocolate and you cannot change my mind. I don’t care if it’s not coffee, Ranpo’s isn’t either and I know for a fact you didn’t bat an eye at his.

Kyouka orders an iced mocha or an iced caramel frappe because she is a teenage girl. not to stereotype but that's what every teenage girl I've ever met orders and it's what I started with too.

Kunikida orders a long black (basically the same thing as an Americano) with a single ice cube to cool it down because he is boring

Kukuzawa orders the classic flat white. I rarely see someone under the age of 30 order this drink and the vibes are very similar 

Junichiro gets a cold brew. I cannot explain why. He just gives those vibes. 

Atsushi is more of a tea person but if he HAD to he would absolutely get a vanilla oat milk latte

Naomi is a Starbucks girlie. She gets anything floral and sweet, think iced teas, refreshers, etc. If she does get coffee she makes a big deal about it “Coffee is too bitter for me!!! I need 10 sugars!!!” 

Haruno loves an oat milk latte. Contrary to popular belief, she actually likes her coffee hot. She seems like the type of person who drinks coffee for comfort instead of the actual caffeine content. 

what is a double ristretto piccolo?

So Ristretto means 'restricted shot'. essentially, the barista will end the espresso shot 10-15 seconds before they're meant to. this gets rid of the hash bitter taste of the coffee, it's also generally sweeter. A piccolo is short for 'Piccolo Latté' or 'Short Latté' which is literally what the name entails. It's just a latte served in a tiny glass with about half the amount of milk. So he orders a mini latte with 2 restricted shots of espresso and a dash of hazelnut syrup. I've had someone order nearly this exact thing, it's pretentious as hell and it's just so Chuuya.
