i think scent is definitely one of the most important parts of a glow up or daily routine or wtv of any kind, esp if ur super into physical touch like myself cuz its the first thing people smell when they hug u!! plus nobody likes feeling and smelling gross ♡

🧁𓂃 ࣪˖ spray, don't rub!

do not. rub in. the scent. it will not last long. no more. i do not care what your parents told you. It Does Not Last

👛𓂃 ࣪˖ not just the perfume!

to be smelling good, you need to make sure ur hygeine is on point and ur using all the basics, and a few extras if you can get ur hands on anything else. BO + perfume = disaster!

🐈‍⬛𓂃 ࣪˖ opposites do NOT necessarily attract!

layering and cohesiveness to some level is so important w scents!!!! otherwise ur gonna pile all of these lovely yet completely opposing fragrances on top of each other n its not gonna be very pleasant.

of course, experiment! these things are supposed to be fun! try to keep everything in a sort of cohesion with each other, i.e. super sweet, super fruity, and maybe just throw something in there that makes your scent more you! i.e., if you have a generally sweet theme with your scent profile, maybe you could throw something more cinnamony or pleasantly bitter in there! have fun with it! ♡

🎀𓂃 ࣪˖ eating right

so you hear this a lot, but it is really important; do not underestimate the importance of eating right! junk food n unhealthy food is yummy in moderation!

💬𓂃 ࣪˖ making it stick

something that helps me so much is adding vaseline or any type of cream, lotion, jelly, whatever onto the spot ur gonna spray before you spray it! it is SO effective and i literally cannot use perfume without doing this. pulse points in particular!

🐧𓂃 ࣪˖ general maintenance n consistency

make sure ur doing the basics all day long! topping up deodorant, perfume, especially in the summer! regular shower routine, etc, etc. be on your a game ! ♡

♡ on ur ankles (so the scent travels up)

The fierce, terrible fear of death. It ran through Muzan’s veins, having lived with it before he was even born. Even prior his birth, chance of his life was minimal. He’d been born a stillborn, even, and only by some miracle had he managed to suck in a quivering breath and let out an aching cry in his little coffin. Perhaps the miracle had been more of a tragedy, prolonging his suffering through life in ways more than physical.

As a child, he never experienced the delightful days of youth, simply watching as scattered laughter followed children as they raced each other through rows of bushes. Leaves, green and full of life. So unlike to Muzan. It was maddening, to see their carefree smiles. Taking advantage of their working lungs and easy lives. As if he wasn’t stuck here in a bed, permanently, waiting to rot away.

He knew, since he was born, to expect death to be around every corner. Yet it was still terrifying. The deep set fear that one day he would simple cease to wake up. And the burning pain in his heart every day, the blood on his sheets, the arm around his shoulder as he stumbled to the bathhouse yet again. The constant overprotectiveness of his family and doctors, the tons upon tons of bottles of medicines, the inability to do anything but wait. Wait for his death, wait for all this to end. Hours upon days upon months upon years, simply dreading the obvious consequences to his unfortunate successful birth.

And why?, they all ask. Why do you want to live forever? When the power was delivered and he grew almost invincible.

Why?

Because to die? That would truly be a tragedy. Perhaps his birth had been the tragedy. But he was alive now. Death would be the true misfortune now. He was in no hurry to greet it.

I think ao3 is weirdly enough one of the internet spaces where youll find less judgement for the content you make. Everything is tagged so no one will go into your fic not knowing what to expect, kinks, weird ships and tropes and wtv else are on full display there so even tho you can find it weird and not want to read it you very rarely find someone on the comments complaining bc you just learn to just ignore what you dont want to see

Their tale older than the great willow

whose roots anchor them,

Ever changing, mortal in it’s bounds,

and yet in it’s passing,

the earth remembers where it once stood.

Eternal; immortal in its memory.

No longer, but the world remembers.

Like the great willow, their story lay bare.

Orpheus, known for his talent,

remembered for his love.

“A fool” some dare whisper.

A hero to fail his quest.

Some laugh, others mourn the love he had supposedly lost.

And so, was it all to shame?

Orpheus had loved,

Yes this was true!

Eurydice his wife;

Eurydice his muse.

Taken from this world to the other;

Too early, too soon.

He sang his songs of grief,

Hades had let him go!

Yet in his worry, yet in his love;

he’d looked back.

At his darling, at his love, at his muse,

and he had failed.

Those who read, those who heard;

they cried out in pity for the dear Eurydice,

they cry out in anguish at dear Orpheus;

calling him a fool.

Claiming it was simple.

“I’d simply not turn” they’d boast.

Yet, if he had not, had his love truly been true?

Would it had been enough to save his darling muse?

His worry and care, for she who he loved so dearly,

That, in which lead him to fail so mightily.

And yet this same care had given him more than courage;

but determination, to trudge down and sing his song of grief and love.

That love that had made him turn,

in fear his beloved was hurt or left behind,

was the same love that led him to her.

Is that not just divine?

If he had not loved enough to turn,

would he have loved enough to attempt?

Would his heart have bled the same songs,

the songs that had nearly brought her home?

Is it not divine?

The love in their pain?

That in which seep into his melody?

Him, this, I hope to be.

To love enough to attempt, to risk, to defy,

To love enough to turn when I fear I may have left you behind.

To love,

just enough.
