You sat on a large boulder sitting in the middle of a shallow brook, dipping your legs in as an attempt to try and escape the heat of the day. Even from under the shade of the willow tree from above, the heat and humidity was still oppressive. And the chirping of cicadas only underscored the fact. And sitting on the boulder just a few centimetres away was Azul, pant legs rolled up to his knees and his legs in the water as well, trying to cool off as well.

The two of you had arranged a day to hang out, since the Coral Sea isn’t really the most hospitable place for anyone without fins or gills. So Azul had agreed to set aside some time in his schedule so that he could spend some time with you, and this time there was no Grim or nosey Leech twins to interrupt you. But why, why did today have to be so insufferably hot.

“Why couldn’t we go someplace cooler,” he groaned, pushing his hair out of his face. “Somewhere with… air conditioning?” At least the water was cold, which helped break the heat a little bit. Plus the shade from the willow tree kept the harshness of the midday sun at bay.

You flicked some water at him, and chortled at the dirty look he gave you. “Just wanted to check this out, see where it led,” you say in a chipper tone. You slipped down the boulder a bit, getting further into the water. The brook was shallow, only reaching about mid-calf.

Your hand brushed against Azul’s and he could have sworn it felt like an electric shock rather than a soft caress. “It led to a tree and some rocks,” he sighed.

You hummed, splashing a bit in the water as the stark coldness of the brook was finally breaking the sticky heat. “Well I think it led to an opportunity.”

“For what?” He didn’t really want to say it, but today, other than the Sevens forsaken heat, was nice. The two of you had just walked together, and had some nice conversations that melted into each other seamlessly.

A mischievous smile spread across your face and you splashed Azul in the face. “For that,” you laugh.

Azul spat out water, and the faintest bit of ink, blue flushing his cheeks. But his brief flash of anger mixed with embarrassment of being bested faded just as quickly as it had arisen. You looked so happy, sitting in the brook with the swaying branches of willows behind you. And Azul felt a lump form in his throat. They look… ethereal.

You noticed him staring and waved a hand in front of his face. “Helloooo,” you called, “ear- erm, Twisted Wonderland to Azul? You good?”

“YES,” he sputtered, getting up from the boulder and trying to get back to the banks of the brook. “I am perfectly fine, Prefect!” But the slight crack in his voice betrayed him. He was very much not okay, no. Why did he feel like there were butterflies in his stomach? Why did he feel weird around you? Why do you make me feel like this? Like a fish out of water?

You got up and followed him, a few paces behind. “I can tell when you’re lying, you know? Come on Azul, be honest with me. We’re friends after all.”

We’re friends after all. That line, why did it hurt so much? “I’m not lying,” he could feel you behind him, but he dared not to look back.

“Now you’re just lying to yourself,” you huff. “Come on, Azul, just say it.”

“Say what?!” He turned around and looked at you. The dappled light, and glittering water behind you only made the lump in his throat grow even more. “That I love you-” He snapped his mouth shut and held his breath.

That I love you. That’s what the feeling was. Love.

Your eyes widened, and you opened and closed your mouth, trying to decide what to say. “Well,” you say softly, “I love you too, Azul. I have for a while now.”

And who would have guessed that seeing where the brook led would lead to this. Two friends confessing that there was indeed something more between them.

tumblr has shadowbanned me so i’m very upset and madraww and frustrated but i’ll let you know how jeno reacts are to her anxiety :) if you want an actual one shot of it i’m sure to do it in the future (when i’m not shadow banned)

so for yn it does happen quite regularly, she gets very stressed and doesn’t deal well with pressure or when she’s under pressure. a few times jeno can sense she’s gonna have a panic attack (cus he knows her really well, like the back of his hand) and it’s really fucking sweet he is able to prevent it before it happens :(( it’s like a magic power of love. he does this by calming her down before her nerves can take over, he’ll comfort her and reassure her that everyone will be ok :(( he’ll use reasoning, like for example she used to stress a lot about assignments and exams and he’d just point out the facts to her, eg you’ve done so much revision, you never fail anything, and it works !! he helps the issue get to the back of her mind. and an easy one, lmao he just kisses her and holds her, she forgets everything and the world melts around lol

but when it does happen. and it does. so if he’s not there she’ll call him over or text him and he comes asap, he drops everything and goes over to his girl immediately.

he’ll immediately bring her into his arms and just holds her close, the warmth of his body and his heart beat against hers helps her loads. he also likes to trace soft patterns on her back with his fingers

a kiss on her temple or forehead, whispers of sweet affirmation

he creates a nice environment, dimming the lights, lighting a few candles, and playing her favourite songs

his gf is a psychology major so ofc he knows a few breathing exercises and stuff like that! he will guide her through synchronized breathing, his breath aligning with hers, a way of him telling her that he will always be there for her

he lights her fav candle and scents

he just listens! like he fr just nods and hums as she explains herself. she tends to ramble and sometimes not make a lot of sense because ppl can get like that when they’re feeling a lot but he never shows that he doesn’t understand her point :(( he just listens to her and makes her feel heard. and also if she isn’t making sense, because he knows her so well he can always understand what her point is, he helps her articulate her feelings, he’ll be like “oh so you mean this”

he alsoooo will help her do what’s right. like say she’s stressed cus she’s arguing with her friend, he’ll listen to her and make her feel understood (cus she always is in the right lol like my girl never does no harm, she doesn’t cause any shit)

their communication got iffy in the one shot but now it’s one of their strengths :D

First of all:

WHAT IS A ROBOTERSTIEN??

It’s a robot Frankenstein, and I used the word Roboter and not Robot because it was German :P (idk let me mix random words together like they’re my shampoo and conditioner bottles)

She was playing in the equation playground for a while, until she strayed too far

She bumped into a bear, and since she struggles to see clearly because she’s cross eyed.. well.. I think you get the picture.

Xeir legs got completely snapped and seperated off of her, and her arms and hands were scratched heavily, and bent, and her.. uh.. ears I guess? Welll……

the only reason she survived was because there were objects camping nearby, who were professionals in hunting down bears and such

As much as the bear hurt Fuorzy, she didn’t want to see it die, so she convinced the objects with her little to no consciousness, and they let the bear go

She wakes up in a lab, with professional robotic scientists, they fixed up her limbs and bandages her missing ‘ear’, and just when she thought that they were too kind to offer all of this for free..

They didn’t. They told her to pay, either in any currency (which she doesn’t even know what it is) or..

She becomes a test subject.

She disliked the idea, but she really, REALLY wanted to live and keep her new cool limbs!

Days, weeks, and a month or two pass, every day they’d make a surgery on her, either cut open her missing ear, or her back and tail (Do know, canon version of both phases had the same back, just the first appearance didnt have the stitches)

Or they’d try new codes and chips on her

It doesn’t matter if anything happened to them, the scientists were only using them to test out things they’d do on the projects and robots they wanted to make

And with the lack of nice treatment, constant forgetfulness of her starvation and exhaustion, it finally made her tick

The scientists completely forgot that she was, ALIVE, so they never really made sure she was stabilized well

The scientists are all gathered, as they speak excitedly about this test and how it would work

They make her unconscious, and after a week of a heavy forced deep sleep, she wakes up, with a— A FUCKING ROBOT ON HER HEAD..

HUH. They tested if she could connect announcer to her BRAIN, and the only way it would work was.. well… yeah.. owchie…

She wasn’t supposed to wake up at that time, she looked at herself in the floor’s reflection, and instead of crying and looking at herself traumatized, she smiled

i just got back from watching the eclipse at my school! I didnt get any pictures but it was a huge gathering with food and music and stuff it was very nice. Kids and dogs running around too very cute. Afterwards my sisters friend who knows practically everyone in the entire world introduced us to two brony girls (pegasisters..LMFAOOO) and got their insta and talked for a while. So im very happy with that cause they’re really nice. And even if its just for today im so glad i got to talk to a bunch of people 😸 then a bunch of us went to get smoothies..! Today is making me feel like a real person again i wont lie. LMFAOOO <3

Not too many big things going on.. Lately my life has been pretty boring i wont lie im just very exhausted a lot of the time. Now that its a little warmer and sunny these days though im more motivated to go outside to my usual spots and engage in my outside hobbies. I still feel very anxious lately about genuinely every little thing but im getting there and i know it’ll pass ^__^ on Saturday we went to a (new!!!) huge antique store (need to take u there…very fun stuff..) and i spent a lot of money.. i figured i usually buy nothing anywhere so id treat myself. Wednesday was possibly one of the slowest days for scoops. Robin hated Wednesdays and she always will! At least that's what she thought until you started coming every Wednesday. Robin mentally curses as her hands go clammy at the mere thought of you coming in. You go to school with her and thankfully you have a free period at the end of the day so you leave an hour earlier than everyone else.

She glances at the clock, gulping when she realizes she has five minutes till she sees you. Steve walks out of the backroom, tossing his hat on the small counter behind them.

“I never get why they schedule us both on Wednesday. I mean, seriously, we've had one customer all day.”

Robin hummed without listening to him. She was lost in her thoughts trying to figure out what to say to you when you come by. She stood still chewing nervously at her bottom lip as she thought about the last interaction you two had. Steve did most of the talking because of how awkward she was, she would just nervously laugh along to whatever Steve said. This cannot be like the last time she thinks to herself.

“Robin!”

Robin breaks free from her thoughts and looks at Steve's annoyed facial expression.

“What the hell do you-”

“Hi, Robin.”

Oh no. No, no, no this can't be happening. There's no way Robin was that lost in her thoughts that five minutes flew by. She slowly turns to where your voice came from and lets out a nervous giggle.

“H-hey y/n! What uh, what are you getting today?”

Steve rolls his eyes and mumbles something along the lines of the same thing she always gets.

You giggle at her nervous behavior and smile at Steve.

“Oh it's okay, you looked pretty deep in thought so Steve said he'd ring me up.”

At the mention of that, Robin turns and sees Steve flashing you his charming smile while he hands you the cone of strawberry ice cream. Her heart breaks a little as your fingers brush against his. Of course, Steve Harrington gets the girl. Steve always gets the girl, and Robin feels embarrassed that she even thought she had a chance with you. She tunes out the rest of the world, her brain going on autopilot mode. She sees Steve's mouth moving but she doesn't hear anything, she's grateful for it because of the blush on your cheeks she can only imagine what he told you.

You clear your throat and nod your head at the two of them. “Well uh, I guess I'll see you both around?”

You sound hopeful as your eyes fall on Robin who's nodding her head and giving you a sad smile.

“Yeah, see you tomorrow l/n.”

“See you next Wednesday y/n!” Steve shouted as you walked out of the small parlor. Steve crosses his arms against his chest and smiles.

“What a nice girl.”

Robin rolls her eyes at Steve.

Robin storms to the backroom and throws herself down in the first chair she sees.

She grabs the marker putting a tally mark under you rule.

Robin anxiously chews on her nails as her eyes fall on the small clock. She doesn't want to sound like a stalker, but you're late. It's not five minutes late no, you're thirty minutes late, and Steve left for his lunch nearly twenty minutes ago. That means Robin has a ten-minute window of just you and her talking and to say she's nervous is an understatement. When she sees you turn the corner she lets out a breath she didn't even realize she was holding and waves at you.

“Hey y/n!”

You smile and sigh. “Hey, Robs! Is uh, is Steve here?”

Robin feels her shoulders slump and she clears her throat.

“Uh, y-yeah he is, he left for his lunch though.”

“How long ago?”

Why does it matter? She thinks to herself.

“Maybe twenty minutes ago? He should be back in ten if you wanted to stay and wait.”

Robin knows you aren't here for her, but she still finds herself hoping that you'll stay and keep her company.

“Ah, I can't stay that long. Can you tell him I stopped by?”

She gives you a tight-lipped smile and nods her head.

“Of course.”

You dig in your bag, grabbing a pen and a napkin from the dispenser that was on the counter. Robin watches as you scribble your number down, adding a small heart at the end of your name.

“Here, you can just give that to him and tell him to call me whenever,” you say with a smile as you slide the napkin her way.

“I gotta head out now. Bye Robin! I'll see you at school!”

Robin doesn't even bother saying bye. She gives you a sad wave goodbye and grabs the napkin that's resting on the counter. She stares at it and stuffs it in her pocket. It took her a while, but she feels comfortable in her skin. She's happy and content with the life that she has but god does she want to be Steve at this moment.

What does he have that she doesn't? Why does Steve always get the girl and why did she believe him when he told her that you had a crush on her? She should've known better, Robin Buckley isn't Steve Harrington. She doesn't have his charming personality, she doesn't have his amazing hair, and she doesn't get the girl.

“Here you go, Buckley,” Steve said as he gave her the plate of pizza he got from the food court. “How you eat that plate of grease is beyond me, but to each their own.”

He leans against the wall, arms crossed over his chest as he looks over at his quiet friend.

“So, did y/n come by?”

“Yup.”

“How’d it go?”

She reaches into her pocket and shows him the napkin. Steve stands straighter and smiles at her, looking around to make sure no one is around while he congratulates her.

“Robin, that's great! You got her number.”

“No, you did,” she said as she put the napkin next to him.

Steve opens his mouth ready to ask her a question, but she grabs the pizza and starts to make her way to the food court.

“Like I said last week Steve, congrats. You needed the win.”

The next day comes faster than Robin would've liked. She stayed up late all night tossing and turning trying to not think about how you could be on the phone with Steve. Her stomach churned at the thought of you giggling at the stupid jokes he tells. Stupid Steve. She knows Steve would shut it down the second a move would be made, but she likes to torture herself.

That's why she's in her first-period class, chin resting in the palm of her hand as she imagines you and Steve on a date. Better to move on than wallow in her puddle of sadness. She's deep in thought when she feels a piece of paper hit her arm. She turns her head to see who threw it, brows going up when you point to the paper on the floor by her feet.

Are you mad at me?

She twirls her pen in her hand and looks over at you.

No.

I don't believe you >:(

Robin chuckles at the angry face you made and shrugs her shoulders.

Don't know what to tell you then, but I could never be mad at you.

She misses the blush that dances along your cheeks and feels her heart start to pound when she reads what you wrote.

Meet me under the bleachers after lunch? I have something to tell you.

She gives you a nervous smile and nods her head. Her hands feel clammy as she stuffs the note in her pocket, she's definitely gonna read the note until she meets you under the bleachers trying to figure out what you'll tell her.

Robin decides to skip lunch altogether because she's too nervous to eat the food she packed for herself. She finds herself under the bleachers, picking random pieces of grass before throwing them back on the floor.

“There you are! I was starting to think you were avoiding me.”

She looks up at you, her brain short-circuiting when she sees you.

“Uh, no. I'm not avoiding you. W-why would I avoid you? Do I need to avoid you? Are you sick-”

You giggle and gran onto her shoulders.

“Calm down Buckley. I was just making an observation.”

She nods her head not listening. She wants to remember how your hands feel on her.

“Are we okay though? Like…us?”

“I don't see why not,” she whispered.

You sigh and sit on the patch of grass, tugging Robin’s arm so she can join you.

“I talked to Steve last night.”

Robin wants to leave. Of course, you wanted to talk to her about Steve. She feels so stupid for thinking otherwise.

“Steve is a great guy, you're in good hands.”

“Wha-”

“I mean, he can be a little dumb at times but overall he's a good guy. He's like a golden retriever, so I'm glad he's your boyfriend.”

“Boyfriend?”

The air around you gets tense.

“Yeah? Or has he not asked you out yet? Oh my god, did I ruin the surprise?! He's gonna kill me, don't tell him I told you-”

“I don't like Steve.”

“Oh…well, you better let him know 'cause I don't want him to fall for you only for it not to happen.”

You giggle. “Trust me, I think he knows.”

Silence falls over the two of you before you clear your throat to speak up.

“Steve knows I don't like him, but do you?”

“I do now, yeah.”

You sigh. “But do you believe it?”

She didn't. She knew eventually you'd fall for Steve, they all did. Her thoughts stop when your hand suddenly grabs hers.

“I need you to believe it, Robin.”

“Why?” she asks quietly. She squeezes your hand gently getting used to the feeling of it. She doesn't want you to let go.

“I don't like Steve,” you whisper back.

Robin chuckles. “Yeah, I gathered that.”

You chew at the inside of your lip anxiously, you want to cry. You're not sure why, but the familiar stinging that's coming from your eyes is irritating and you want to scream at the lump that's forming in your throat. Robin notices the change in your behavior and sits up straight.

“Hey, what's wrong?”

“I don't like Steve, Robin.”

“Okay, okay I believe you-”

“I'm supposed to like Steve. I'm supposed to be with someone like him, get married to someone like him, have someone like him be the father to my children, but I just…I don't.”

Oh. Oh.

Robin’s mouth goes dry at what you're saying. She gets it. She gets all of it. You squeeze her hand tightly, scared of how she'll react to what you're about to say next.

“I gave Steve my number because I needed advice.”

“On?”

“...on how to ask out a girl.”

Robin felt like she took one step forward and one step back. She's over the moon that you like girls, but now she's sad because what girl do you have a crush on and how can she get it to be her?

“U-uh, who's the girl?”

“You.”

She's dead. She has to be. There's no way her crush has a crush on her. This doesn't happen to Robin, it never has and she thought it never would, but here she is. Under the bleachers, holding her crush's hand as she confesses to her.

“I-i get it if you don't feel the same and if you want to stop hanging around me. Steve just gave…lots of hints and made it seem like you felt the same way, but from your lack of response, I'm guessing you don't? Actually, can we just pretend this never happened-”

“I like you too.”

“What?”

Robin is smiling, it's the kind of smile that hurts her cheeks and reaches all the way up to her beautiful eyes, and god do you want to kiss her.

“I like you too. Ever since you walked into scoops and asked for a strawberry ice cream. Which, by the way, you didn't get yesterday-”

“Shut up about the ice cream Robin,” you mumbled while pulling her in by her jacket.

“Yeah, yeah okay. I can do that. A-are you gonna kiss me?”

“Can I?”

“Yeah, yeah you can.”

That was all you needed to hear before your lips were on hers. You're both smiling into the kiss, teeth gently clashing against each other, a squeal leaving your mouth when her hands fall on your waist and bring you into her waist. Your hands go up to her neck, playing with the ends of her hair as you try to bring her closer. You curse yourself for needing oxygen as you pull away from her.

Both of you are panting, trying to catch your breath while giggles leave you both. Robin has been happy before, but this is new. She feels like she’s on cloud nine, she’s convinced that she can do absolutely anything she wants but all she wants is to feel your lips on hers again. So that's what she does. She leans in again smiling against your lips when she hears your giggle.

“Robin,” kiss. “Robin, we're gonna,” kiss. “We're gonna be late!”

She pulls away to pour at you. “I don't want to go to class. Let's skip.”

You snort and roll your eyes. “And do what?”

“I mean, I can think of a few things.”

“You horn dog!”

She lets out a laugh and plays with the rings that decorate your hands.

“Can you say it again?” she asks you quietly. How she manages to go from being confident back to being nervous is beyond you, but you wouldn't change it one bit. You gently hold her face in your hands and have her look up at you. Your heart leaps out of your chest when she turns her hand slightly and places a soft kiss in the palm of your hand.

“I like you, Robin. I really like you.”

“Yeah, you're pretty cool too,” she mumbles before bringing you back to her lips.

I can feel myself getting back on track now which is nice but having to stay at home all day is oh so lonely. Today I was on a bit of a Chem run so I ditched my schedule and did a couple of chemistry chapters together. Tomorrow has to have some physics tho fr. -So lets say that it was a really really hot day, and even with the air conditioner it still was very hot. However, due to the scorching temperature, the Boss fortunately gave everyone a day off since he didn't want anybody collapsing from heat stroke

-Albatross suggested to go to the beach, while Lippmann volunteered to let everybody stay the night at his place. Everybody was on board with the idea, and so were you (you had to convince Chuuya to come aka drag him into the car lmao)

-Okay but like Lippmann's place is GORGEOUS. It’s big, spacious, everything is modern and clean, and the view is also nice too. Everyone literally is yelling out which room they want, and it’s chaos until Pianoman finally manages to silence you all with his smexy glare

-Everyone unpacks in their room, and your room is the best (Lippmann told me himself). The bed is a king-sized single, and there’s even heater and air conditioning in your room. Not to mention the bath has all sorts of aromatics to go with it

-Then Pianoman brings you all out to the beach, but not before making sure you all apply sunscreen Albatross tried to sneak off but Iceman caught him. And everybody falls to doing different activities, but what’s the point of finally being able to go to the beach if you weren’t going to make it fun? Ohoho I love the way you think >:)

-You and Albatross being the menaces of the Flags sneak in some water guns. And when the rest of the group wasn’t looking, you two sprayed them with icy cold sea water right in their faces. Bad choice, because now you two have declared war (Lippmann was secretly pissed that you ruined his hairstyle. And Chuuya? You don’t even need to ask to know lmao)

-So an all out battle starts, and everybody’s aim is good (I mean y’all are mafiosos so-) Iceman surprisingly gets the most hits on everyone, while Chuuya is just yelling and cursing. Doc is a sneaky little snake, Lippmann shows off his shooting skills by shooting everybody with double water guns, and you and Albatross just spray as many people as you could while cackling

-But you’re so focused on spraying Chuuya that you don’t notice the hot person sneaking up behind you... and suddenly you get tackled by Pianoman onto the sand. You’re too busy laughing to realise the slightly... suggestive way that he’s holding you. Also I bet he has some nice arm muscles because pulling wires ain’t an easy feat 😏 duerkfkijsf

-But you don’t have time to focus on Pianoman, because Chuuya is pissed. He ends up chasing you into the ocean, but don’t worry because Albatross has your back. The afternoon passes filled with laughter and banter, with everybody ganging up on each other

-Now the sky was starting to darken, and that was the cue to go back to Lippmann’s house. But not before you guys eat dinner! I headcanon Albatross dragged everybody to a pizza shop or fish and chips, but you don’t complain because you’re simply too tired to argue. Plus the food was nice, and Lippmann was the one paying he’s rich dw

-Once you guys had reached Lippmann’s home, the first thing you did was shower/take a bath. Did I mention that he keeps his bathrooms immaculately clean and sparkling? And the shampoo and soap were the best of the best quality. You couldn’t have been cleaner when you came out of the shower

-Board and card games!!! Monopoly and Uno were a must, however, it quickly became a heated war zone. Pianoman managed to win the most, while Chuuya swore quite a couple of times whenever he lost to Albatross. And it couldn’t have gotten more heated when Chuuya finally yelled Uno with a satisfied smirk on his face, only for Iceman to put down a +4 card before Chuuya’s turn. Hands were almost thrown, but Pianoman being the efficient leader he is quickly managed to calm everything down Chuuya was still brooding

-After the intense games, all seven of you settle down to watching the television while sitting in the fancy air-conditioned lounge. There was a small banter over which movie to watch, but at last everybody resorted to watching a horror movie. Even though it seemed quite fake, it still was scary enough for you to cling onto Lippmann’s arm he was secretly flustered lmao

-When the movie was finished, you were already on the verge of falling asleep. So you retired to your bedroom, but Albatross and Lippmann decided to crash into your room to have a gossiping session. And before you knew it, everybody was gathered in your room while talking about alllll the drama that happened during the week while you just wanted to sleep dammit

-It was quite late when everybody finally decided to sleep. You were more than ready to collapse onto the floor, however it was definitely a fun day for all of you. And what more could you have asked for when you get to spend a whole day with your beloved friends?

Before Mari's death, Reader was always the one to stay by Aubrey's side waayy before she met Basil, and always listens to Aubrey whenever she's sad, because of this, Aubrey protects Reader from anything. Arguements, fights, she'll do anything that makes Reader safe and happy. Even when they both met the group (and no, this isn't a main cast request) their dynamic didn't change a lot ! They still stayed the same :)

Obviously, after Mari's death, when things became nothing but a mess, Reader decides to pay back all the things Aubrey has done to them by taking care of Aubrey now.. how would Aubrey feel about her sib in the past and now?

but just because she is suppose to, doesn’t mean she doesn’t want to! she holds you very dear into her heart despite your home life situation

before the whole incident, while your home life wasn’t as bad as it is now, it was still a bit sad because you guys were still somewhat poor

she’d always make you food, makes sure you brush your teeth every now and then, and tries her best to make sure you aren’t hurt

since you were always there for you, you two have a close bond while AUBREY is super protective of you.

so when she meet her friend group for the first time, she wanted you to join them as well. so she introduced you and BASIL to the group, and everyone accepted you in!

AUBREY would always protect you from KEL while you try to stop her from arguing with him all the time, almost succeeding multiple times

now that MARI is gone forever from "suicide", the group has split. SUNNY is a shut-in and never goes outside anymore, BASIL avoids everyone out of fear and sometimes stays indoors as well, KEL looks like he moved on too fast and made new friends, and HERO moved away for college. thankfully you and AUBREY stayed close no matter what, even if your father left you and mother is neglectful

seeing AUBREY change into a totally different person with a new tough exterior, you almost never recognized her. but you wanted to stay with her because she’s been with you for so long and has taken care of you as a big sister should

as a thank you for everything, you would join the HOOLIGANS with her, made sure she needed anything like food or water, patch up any injuries she received from fights, or even attend church with her. her reaction to it was immediately decline anything you do, because she feels like she should do it for you instead

"seriously, [READER], it’s fine. i should be getting you some food, how about you eat it instead?" AUBREY said as she decline your offer to take the slice of pizza from GINO’s PIZZA which you bought for her only.

you were a bit stubborn and wanted to take care of her for a change, as the two of you went through a lot together and stayed close as a result. "no, come on AUBREY, i haven’t see you eat all day and i already had a slice of pizza earlier! it’s the least i can do for you, so take it!"

staring at you for a couple of seconds with a conflicted look, AUBREY sighed in defeat and closed her eyes, taking the pizza slice from her hand and takes a bite. "hmf, since when have you become the big sister?" AUBREY commented with her mouth a bit full.

the two of you shared a tiny giggle from the comment and sat down on the sidewalk, your feet resting on the streets. it was nice, with the two of you just laughing and bonding. sure it was fun hanging out with AUBREY’s new friends, but it was really nice for you two to bond as siblings, especially since what happened four years ago.

AUBREY then puts the palm of her hand on the top of your head, before messing up your hair. She smirked and grinned a bit before speaking up, her voice more softer, but still retaining the toughness.

What are 3 things that inspire you to draw?

thank you so much I'm so excited to hear people like them !!! ;v; I have sooo many things I want to draw that are super challenging for me right but I hope I can get to do all of them at some point !!!!

I feel like it's almost hard to narrow smth down to 3 things bc So many things inspire me to draw ! (my struggle is more so in motivation and energy department I guess)

I ended up typing a lot bc I got excited but I think these 3 are my biggest ones !

1) Nostalgia! especially when felt from environments around me or in little random moments! I always end up with a bunch of random photos of like environments or buildings or the clouds on my phone bc I felt a certain way in a certain moment and while my memory is pretty bad, snapping that photo usually helps me revisit that moment even if it may have been on some random day! and while not rly related to feeling there's also always smth fun to see around like the shape of a tree or the way shadows fall or colours ! maybe it's more about general vibes than nostalgia hmm...

I definitely don't draw environments as often as I'd like to and even when I do I haven't posted much but even so it's smth that fills me with a want to draw! to try and also bring out that kind of nostalgia or warmth !

I want to do more edgy dramatic stuff too but trying to make warm feelings has too strong a grip on me haha

2) Video games a lot a lot !! and other media too!! I absolutely love creating fanworks, I'm just a nerd and I want to share and show my love for stuff !!

video games are especially fun bc I already get to spend my time in x world and depending on what game it is that either means being bombarded with interesting visuals, fun little moments to recreate or for visually "simpler" games you get to imagine it in a 3d space all on your own and I love that ! like right now of course I'm losing my mind over alttp but in the past, games like Yume Nikki (and fangames), older pokemon games and Star Stealing Prince have had this exact effect on me too !

for a little add on I wanna say I used to worry a lot about accuracy and it could make fanworks pretty intimidating but one of my friends (shoutout to Cai) said smth earlier this year that I cannot for the life of me remember right now But it completely changed my mindset to instead be like. it's more important to make up my own interpretation of stuff rather than make sure everyone agrees it's accurate right? I can't even remember it right now but it completely changed the way I played games since like Bloodborne and Zeldas bc rather than worry about getting things instantly Right in my brain I would discover little lore pieces at my own time and instead try to put stuff together in my own way and idk games have been infinitely more fun since And it's inspiration machine to me !!

3) and most of all other people's art !!!! I could spend days browsing the internet just looking at all the amazing things people make and it's so contagious to me ! even if I couldn't ever create the kinds of things I enjoy seeing myself I can't help but feel so inspired and motivated to create something too no matter how it ends up!

creating an inspiration folder for myself that's full of just Anything like environments and character art and photos and colour schemes has been on of the best things I've done for myself! I rarely look at other stuff When I draw (for worse imo, like I rly need to get better at referencing) but if I ever feel stuck I can look through that and almost instantly find smth that kicks me in gear ! sometimes I see art and it's amazing and impressive and sometimes I see it and just think "man that looks like it was so Fun I want to have fun too!" and both work perfectly for me! :D

anyway uuuuh take pictures of nice things and save cool stuff there's always smth to be inspired by in little things! here's a little collection of random photos of my own from the past year that make me happy and also go !!!!!! (not a lot of city stuff tho bc usually ppl are on those )

Still, I understand that sometimes our emotions, our thoughts, and maybe sometimes our souls are drained but there is never anything wrong with taking a break to find joy in other things or rest in order to give room for more ideas.
