Tiptoes in here... I know this post is nearly a month old but I've got a couple cents I'd like to pitch in about it, I hope that's okay!

I. May have gotten very rambly about this subject so I'm opting to hide it under a readmore to not flood folks' dashes with my silly thoughts.

To me, it's. A bit complicated to compare his standard feelings vs how he feels in the middle of an Override incident. In the latter, I feel like it should be taken into account that he's likely terrified in the moment. He's not in control of himself, but implications from his second phase shows that he's aware of when the Override is in control. Outside of Phase 2, he's probably still in there trying (and failing) to regain control over himself (additionally present in his ending cutscene). I personally feel like he goes out of his way to prevent hurting the players and says things like "don't want to fight you" because the override just. Genuinely sucks and is traumatizing for him (thinking about it as well, phase 2 where he's just barely in control gets rid of any cheats that involve harming any of the other cogs, primarily assisting them compared to how phase 1 and 3 have cheats that either disintegrate or fire them). But also, he strikes me more as someone who'd rather just take the passive approach. He doesn't inherently like violence (based on him telling the toons to "go away" because he's busy, saying they wont like him when he's angry, etc) and would be perfectly happy with them packing up and going without a fight. He doesn't really make any further push to show remorse towards the toons other than what's likely more just him trying to not explode them outside of his own control. He reads more like he's pissed off at the players more than anything at the end of his fight, since technically if he didn't have to call security on them the Override wouldn't have triggered in that moment.

Now if we wanna account for Personal Interpretation… I'm more in the ballpark that yes, he does see toons as pests. He wouldn't go out killing them though as his normal self however, he's a guy with a temper and you're prone to saying really anything when you're adequetely pissed off. In the theoretical instance where the Override kills a toon however, I feel it's more in the moment he'd be numb about it. Not inherently remorseless, but in the moment it's just a dead pest. Then it hits in and he gets shell-shocked more over the fact he took a life without even being in control. He would probably push that feeling back down quickly/repress it and go back to being numb, however. (I also feel as though something similar would happen if he permanently ended a fellow Suit's career via the Override, though in that case the shell-shock would be instant before fading into numbness). The worst he could possibly be is if someone was to approach him and show him their scars from the Override. I think he'd grimace a bit and tell you he gave you his warning, whatever happened was your own fault.

Toonblr, this is a genuine question, like it just doesn't add up to me. How do you say that Mr. Revvington would not feel any remorse for killing toons when he actively attempts to prevent himself from hurting the players in his battle? Do I think he loves toons, absolutely not, of course. But I legit do not understand the angle here... Please explain.
