omg… finally… TIL there is a word for people who are attracted to femininity and feminine presentations but don’t give a hoot about what gender someone was assigned at birth and other labels. I had in his stats ‘heterosexual’ but only bc I was no longer comfortable calling him simply bi or pansexual— because he’s not attracted to men or masculinity. (obviously his heterosexuality being inclusive to transwomen and I hate that I even have to clarify that bc… I feel that if your heterosexuality doesn’t include trans homies than imo ur icky and I don’t care for u very much. l: but unfortunately, you do have to clarify it sometimes. )

but in the past, I labeled him as bi (but with the exclusion of attraction to men/masculinity as a caveat) … but eventually I felt like I should change that in his stats, because calling him bi felt “misleading” to a degree. only because sometimes people would want to ship characters who are men / masc with him and I felt awkward because it’s like… I know it says he’s bi in his stats, but actually… no. jasjjsj. but I didn’t really feel like having an entire PARAGRAPH explaining the nuances of his sexuality on his stats page u know?? jajsjsj. so it just said bi… but that was confusing to people.

so I changed it to heterosexual to make it easier on everyone… but that never felt right. however, I felt there wasn’t really a word to describe him any other way, so it would just have to do— it was the closest I can get… because sexualities can be a very complicated topic and ultimately, everyone’s sexuality is quite individualized. I figured there’s just not a word that describes this particular nuance … UNTIL NOW. YAY.

the funniest meltdown ive ever had was in college when i got so overstimulated that i could Not speak, including over text. one of my friends was trying to talk me through it but i was solely using emojis because they were easier than trying to come up with words so he started using primarily emojis as well just to make things feel balanced. this was not the Most effective strategy... until. he tried to ask me "you okay?" but the way he chose to do that was by sending "👉🏼👌🏼❓" and i was so shocked by suddenly being asked if i was dtf that i was like WHAT???? WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY TO ME?????????? and thus was verbal again
