yea like smallishbeans. so during mcc 13 he got too excited and knocked over his cup, breaking his keyboard and forcing him to sprint to scott's house during the break to borrow one for the reset of the event LMAO and then AGAIN during mcc 15 he did the same thing, luckily this time lizzie wasn't playing so he just borrowed her keyboard instead. lizzie then proceeded to joke about (and then actually buy) joel a sippy cup to prevent any further accidents, which has been extremely successful! he has not since ruined any more keyboards, although i admittedly don't know if he just learned to be more careful

note : i love writing for tommy so much but unfortunately i don't get a lot of ideas, so whenever i get reqs for him i get super excited. for context, i wrote this around mcc 26 because it's my favourite (i KNOW it's almost a year old at this point, like i said it's my favourite). reader replaces fruitberries on the violet vampires team, he won that mcc with phil, oli and shelby, so you can probably tell why it's my favourite lmao but also i feel like tommy would call you girlfriend in place of a petname, i think it's cute. i hope you enjoy angel <333

When you were six, you broke your wrist. You and a group of your classmates had been out at lunch in the playground, engaged in an intense monkey bars contest when you fell. You didn’t remember much, the ambulance ride to A&E, maybe. Being comforted in your hospital bed as you awaited X-ray results with cuddles and cookies, definitely. Not a lot of pain, not a lot of suffering. You never got back on the monkey bars after that though. Competing with the other kids just felt like a bad idea after that. You learned to run your own race, and you’d been living like that for over a decade.

Your left hand twinged, aching slightly. Maybe it was that the bones never realigned on your wrist, but it was most likely due to the intense keyboard-pressing you’d been doing for the last five hours. You weren’t big on MCC, you were a builder rather than a combative player, and that suited you just fine. You tuned in once a month, sure, but that was mainly to support. You and Tommy had been dating for eight whole MCCs now, and he’d been the one to encourage you to apply. 

Your shooting skills were… fine. You knew how to play the game, of course, you’d been playing it for over half your life. You just didn’t do much of it recently, hence the two hour practice you’d taken before the start of the event. The first game had been Parkour Warrior, which happened to be your best. The early confidence boost (combined with the encouraging messages you and Tommy had been exchanging on Discord between each event, unbeknownst to your chats) had helped you - you’d come in second overall. But by the fifth game your team wasn’t even in the top 5. You were nervous, worried about letting your team down but, as Phil rightfully pointed out you had “did the best out of all of us, dude.” You’d been really lucky with your team. Everyone on it was someone you knew at least vaguely. You’d spoken to Phil a bunch since starting your relationship with Tommy, and he’d been a big help. Shelby and Oli, your other two teammates were both complete sweethearts and you’d loosened up massively since the beginning of the event. 

Things picked up after SkyBattle, and no one in your chat even noticed when you and Tommy took breaks at the same time (two waterbottle refills and a reassuring kiss that had you on your A-Game for the last hour and a half of the event). 

And then came DodgeBolt. 

Your shooting skills were fine. Truly, but your entire team getting killed in less than five minutes leaving you and Scott in the arena alone. You were silent, focusing too hard on not dying to even think about addressing your chat. Phil was murmuring encouragement into the VC that you were actively tuning out in an attempt to concentrate. Tommy was sitting at his desk three rooms away, quiet as a mouse. He hadn’t moved in so long that his chat had started spamming lag. He had been trying not to be too obvious about it, but it was you versus the manager of the event engaged in a 1v1 for your first time in the contest. Your hand was cramping and you were biting the inside of your cheek so hard it was painful, but you had an arrow and a shot. Scott had an arrow as well, and you knew that if you left it any longer he’d get you, so you let your instincts take over and let it go. 

VIOLET VAMPIRES TAKE THE CROWN!

Shelby was screaming in the VC before you could comprehend what had just happened, and before you could even move arms were around you. Your office door had swung open as your golden retriever of a boyfriend all but lifted you out of your chair, pressing a proud kiss to your lips. 

“Oh my god,” you murmured, face hidden in the blue fabric of his shirt. “I won?”

“You won!” Tommy was yelling, grin taking over his face.

You let out a squeal of delight as you kissed the corner of his mouth in return, your temple being peppered with supportive kisses. “I won! Chat, oh my god-” You turned back towards your stream and were suddenly struck with the fact that you were, in fact, broadcasting this live. “Chat. Oh my god.”

Tommy was suddenly very still. You did a double take between your monitor, chat zipping past so fast it was making your head spin, and your boyfriend. You had about three seconds to make a move before it was awkward and you already knew that the cat was out of the bag. You’d be trending on twitter within an hour if you weren’t already. 

“Chat, I won!” You turned back to Tommy, wrapping your arms around his neck. Tommy was stiff, but you pressed a kiss to his jawline, right below his ear, out of frame of your camera. “We’re okay, boyfriend,” your voice was soft as you held him, his hands coming up on your back, squeezing you tightly. 

That snapped him out of it, and suddenly the two of you were back to screaming. “I’m so proud of you,” you were swaying on the spot, you gazing past his arm to your monitor, evidence of your win right there on your screen.

“I love you,” he kissed your hairline. “Girlfriend.”

He had to get back to his chat eventually and you needed to get back in the VC with the rest of your team members, exchanging congratulations. You hung around on the server for another twenty minutes before excusing yourself and finishing up the stream. You and Tommy had both silently agreed to not address what had happened and you reconvened in the hallway half an hour after the end of the event. Sitting on the sofa, you pulled out your phone and were immediately introduced to the downside of having a famous boyfriend. His full weight was put on your, your phone slipping out of your grasp and between the couch cushions. He mumbled into your neck. “No twitter. Don’t care.”

Your hands delved into his curls as he closed his eyes. “But-”

He lifted his head off your chest to glare at you and you missed the weight. “Fine. But you’re ordering me dinner after my spectacular win.”

He laughed, rumble of his chest spreading warmly throughout your entire body. “You don’t even need your phone, see. You’ve got me, and don’t worry, yes I called the papers to tell them how well you did. Being a girlfriend gets you perks.”

“Being a boyfriend gets you perks, too.” You point out.

Tommy lifted his head again, only slightly, eyebrows raised. You kissed him one more time and he nodded, content. “I think maybe I win, actually.”

h e y, so i've been watching a lot of mcc clips lately and have been really enjoying all the illumina ones. are there any videos/streams of his that you'd recommend?

first of all, i'd like to direct you to @oceantail-oceantail's fruitninja guide (and honestly the rest of celia's blog) because she'll always be the master of compiling illumina & fruitninja moments! her clips tag also has a lot of fun moments from streams.

BUT, if you want my personal recommendations...

so, for starters, getting into illumina's content. namely, he's got a youtube channel (illuminaHD), which mostly features stream highlights (speedrunning), mcc highlights, and other miscellaneous minecraft gamplay. (oh, and a few world records!) he has a vods channel too, but it's run by his mods.

oh yeah, his twitch: illumina1337. could trick the fae multiple times over with the number of names we have to tag him by

this is my Dream SMP application [Stream Highlights] / Probably my most watched highlights video of his, though they're all hilarious. General speedrunning fails and clutches, crafting shenanigans, funny commentary. All his highlight videos give a good sense as to what his streams are like!

the minecraft bingo/lockout series with SmallAnt - I challenged Minecraft's Best Speedrunner to a test of skill and Minecraft Lockouts Are Surprisingly Brutal.. / GREAT series. had me on the edge of my seat. the first video was uploaded to ant's channel, the second on illumina's, but illumina has the vods for both streams saved on a separate channel. i won't get into the twists, but... it was a ride.

Minecraft: fruitberries VS Illumina / Minecraft manhunts... everybody's heard of them. Well, this one was done with fruitninja over two years ago (wow!) Imagine being hunted across multiple dimensions but your assassin is really, really chill. Oh, and also with the expected cracked gameplay from a manhunt as well.

and as for my favorite streams...

Speedrun Showdown w/ Fruitberries VS Dani & Fireworkss (then 1.16 RSG) / So, speedrun showdown! This was the first time the tournament was hosted, which was almost two years ago. Currently, season two (?) of speedrun showdown is taking place, with the finals happening tomorrow! Charity event, super cool, two duos race to the end to kill the dragon. (Both Fruit and Illumina are participating in the 2022 run, but on opposite teams. Fruitninja aren't allowed to team very often. If you watch this vod, you'll find out why.)

Minecraft Championship 13! w/ Punz, Krinios, & Eret! / Classic. All-time favorite. There would be something wrong if this video didn't show up on my list. Illumina's first MCC win! Team vibes were great, they absolutely dominated (with one of the most nerve-wracking dodgebolts I've ever watched. Live!)

MC Championship 17 w/ fruitberries, Vixella, & Zeuz / Another staple. I think we crashed twitter when the fruitninja MCC team was finally announced. The "Unpopular opinion, but I don't think the Simmers are going to win MCC. They've been paired with Fruitninja, which is going to be difficult no matter how good they're going to be (/c)" copypasta was going around a lot. Another team with great vibes and another very close dodgebolt!

1 on Mouse, 1 on Keyboard w/ Illumina / Warning, I think you're going to notice fruitninja being a consistent trend with my recommendations! (This is all part of the fruitninja conspiracy, in which I try to get everyone to watch their content with my art. So far, my success rate is pretty high!) Fruit & Illumina are roommates and they did a stream where one person controlled the movement via mouse and the other person controlled the movement via keyboard. (Un)surprisingly, they actually did extremely well! Great fun, one of my favorites, bonus IRL content.

Diversity 3 Playthrough! / Illumina plays through a minecraft adventure map for almost ten hours straight. He parkours, he kills mobs, he participates in a space mystery adventure. It's all here. He even speedruns (kind of.)

Okay, onto miscellaneous! As I've mentioned before, celia has a youtube channel with fruitninja & illumina clips. Also, this video from Illumina's MCC 28 parkour warrior run made me laugh. And also this video on Fruitninja interacting in MCC 24. Uh, what else.. Illumina's latest MCC highlights video was really good (though I really also liked the full stream, which is up on his twitch but not his vods channel. Watch it while it's up, I guess!) And also the fruitninja Tubnet Craftmaster Showdown vod had its great moments (also on twitch. Fruit's POV of this event is also really funny, too.)

The Smallishbeans Fan Starter Guide

Have you seen Smallishbeans in videos and/or on your dashboard and thought “hey he seems cool I wanna check him out” but don’t know where to start? Well this post is for you!

“Who is Smallishbeans?”

His name is Joel and he’s a British survival builder who appears in SMPs such as X Life, Empires SMP, and 3rd Life and does lots of challenges like doing hardcore for 24 hours, not using a crafting table, and spending 100 days in a world to name a few. He’s the MCC competitor who keeps spilling his keyboard and had to get a sippy cup for the tournament, first person to ever 1v3 and did it against pink parrots MCC 8, won MCC 10, and attained the lordship Joel Jumperman after getting 8th place in MCC 9. He’s also LDShadowLady’s husband and frequently collabs with her. He was initially known for playing Call of Duty, in fact Smallishbeans was his Xbox gamertag, but now he’s the Joel we all know and love, who loves to cook, loves his wife, is a big nerd, got two pets, loves to mess with his friends, and play in block game :)

“Where can I find him?”

He posts videos and streams on Youtube. He usually streams when it’s MCC b/c he personally doesn’t like the stress of streaming but he has streamed plenty of times before in the past. As of when I’m writing this, he’s planning on streaming more during Empires season 2. He also has a Twitter and Instagram if you wanna check him out elsewhere. His channel also links to his clips channel, Smallishbeans Clips, and extra videos channel called, More Smallishbeans.

“Where do I start?”

Anywhere! He doesn’t have any heavy lore if that’s what you’re worried about. I think the only thing he references is Jeremyism, which is a religion centered around naming everything Jeremy and also praying to Donkey Jeremy which he did during X Life. Joel doesn’t reference other series too unless it’s multiple seasons and he usually mentions it offhandedly. I’d say just start with a one off video or short series and then move to a long series.

Deep breath. Anyone wanna vividly imagine happy, Covid-less irl MCC9 Blue Bats at Twitchcon with me 😌

Like okay, it's the first time the hermits are playing competitively. They've got their practice streams but they have to play live now. They've got their irl Blue Bats shirts. Everyone's hyped. It's kind of an awkward meetup because they're mostly strangers but it's fine. It's cool. The hermits are surprised by how young Fruit is and he just goes :] yeah I recently turned 18 lol. They see Fruit do his parkour with his mouse and his keyboard and their jaws drop because it's just ???? how does he even do it??? we're so old lol.

They're still the underdogs so the casters don't pay much attention to them compared to the other teams. It's 2020 so we're in the Dream-Techno era. Blue Bats are waiting to be called out and everyone's nervous as fuck but they know they have to hold it together for the sake of their teammates. Ren talks about sweating to diffuse the tension. It kind of works. It also kind of doesn't.

The Blue Bats are introduced. The casters have miraculously gained knowledge of the lore and introduce them as the underdogs, making reference to H's infamous "and the entire MCC community sleeps on the Blue Bats" tweet. They mention H's redemption arc after losing Dodgebolt in the previous MCC. They mention Fruit being eager to prove himself. They mention the hermits gunning for the first win. They also mention False and Ren always teaming together because this is an imaginary scenario by me and I always pepper that in

So they walk out to Fort Minor's Remember the Name. "Smile and wave boys (and False!)". They still look a bit awkward but it's cool because Remember the Name makes everything cool. They get less applause overall but there's that subset of the community that followed them from the start and they're screaming the house down. Also a very good portion of Hermitcraft audience faint in their chairs when Ren and False walk out because. Y'know. You understand. 😳 Like if I were there I would've passed out from bisexuality and missed the damn event. Anyway

They're still nervous. Then Ren and H do a bit about Ren doing pushups as a warmup and Ren actually does it irl because his brain is fried with nerves and he just needs to do something. This gets the cameras on them. Someone mentions Hermitgang. Someone asks them to sing it. False politely declines while Ren bravely endures. (He gets so embarrassed by it once the cameras are away.) Basically Ren replies to the cameras for the team when they're around (the man didn't lead that panel discussion for nothing! Also the casters know he's eye candy and he's making everyone go 😳😳😳 lmfbdjksabjkdbalsbdhsabdab). (Twitch Rivals chat: I don't know who that man is but I would like to make his acquaintance 😳.)

Ren has mic problems. This is a constant.

MCC begins and the Bats slay their way in SkB and scream "WE DIDN'T EVEN LOSE A SINGLE PLAYER!!". This goes on as normal. The casters introduced them as the underdogs, but they don't pay much attention to them at first, and only decide to interview them when they start climbing the ranks. Ren and H eagerly speak to the interviewers and thank people for their support while Fruit and False are like 🧍‍♂️🧍‍♀️. The rest of the hermits are cheering in the audience. The casters ask them which game they want the least. All four them in unison: Survival Games.

You'll never guess what happens next. It's Survival Games.

The camera focuses on the Blue Bats as they all go "noooooo :(" and the casters comment on how this may be the end for them. Blah blah blah Grian kills Dream. Unlike what happened in MCCTR, they do not fight it out on stage. It's mostly because no one wants Dream's mask to accidentally fall off (and the hermits are scared of buff Grian's strength on Dream's behalf.) Grian gets the spotlight for a good while until the casters abruptly realise the Blue Bats are dominating, and immediately switch to them.

By now the HC fans are in hysterics and screaming sobbing wailing simping dying laughing and still screaming. Grian's still screaming "THE MOMENT OF MY LIFE!!!!!".

Once they win SG, the Bats jump out of the chairs to scream and celebrate and hug each other 🥺 they do this for a significant amount of time, all cameras are on them, they start playing Remember the Name again, Fruit screams "I'M FIRST OVERALL!" and H screams "UNDERDOGS MY ASS LET'S GO!". The casters are going crazy with this development and they start spinning up the story.

The infamous SOT. The Dream iron door situation would be wack to see irl. Something probably happens but we skip past that because it's Dodgebolt time baby!!

Like 70% of the room is cheering for Green and Blue is super nervous but they got this! The casters eagerly narrate False's failed 1v3 and bring back H's Reddit post predicting her in DB. Green has more clout and the casters mention that (they call Sapnap the Messi of MCC, this is still a comparsion they make for whatever reason).

It's a blur, but they encourage each other even when they're two down. Ren talks about sweating and the entire team turns to look at him irl like 🤨⁉️. His rizz is so strange. The Ren simpage is reaching extremely dangerous levels (and it's starting to reach Martyn on Pink).

Anyways they WIN WAHOOO! They jump out of their chairs, embrace each other, high five, yadayada and everyone EXPLODES because the underdogs just won with a reverse sweep, Fruit is first overall by a lot, the hermits just won, the HC fans are dying and thriving, lives have been changed. They get their silly crowns and they make their speeches. The Underdog by Spoon blasts on the speakers. They take so many photos and go and have a meal or whatever people actually do at Twitchcon :) anyways hours later Iskall and Ren approach H and ask him to join Vault Hunters. MCC9 is a canon event in any universe. A couple of them (*cough* Ren *cough*) party it out till 5am in some club. There's a HC panel at the next day and H and Fruit get to meet the hermits :D everyone lives happily ever after and I live in my unserious imagination :))

Twenty-Four

The first thing Dream saw was the shrimp.

What the fuck, he thought, staring at his bedroom wall which was covered in shrimp. Why are there shrimp on his wall?

“How would I know,” a familiar voice spoke. Suddenly, Dream was sitting at his desk with his headphones on.

“Seriously dude. That’s just weird. I get having strange dreams, but shrimp?”

“Shut up Tschno,” he snapped, grabbing his mouse. He was playing Minecraft, but all he saw was a blur of colors.

Techno’s laugh crackled through his headphones. “Now Dream,” he said, a smile in his voice. “That’s no way to greet an old friend.”

Dream stopped playing the game. Or he just started. He didn't particularly care. “What?”

Techno hummed. His keyboard clicks could be heard through the mic. “I heard you wrote a song about me. A bit cringe to be simping for a dead man.”

The game swirled in front of him, a blur of blues, greens, and reds. Dream cleared his throat. “How’d you learn about that?”

“Dream, c’mon.” He could practically feel the smirk through the screen. “You know to never question me.”

Dream laughed. It felt a bit like breathing and dying at once. “God,” he said. “Yeah. I know man.”

“Good," Techno said, "glad you’re not getting stupid without me there.”

“Hey!”

“I heard you cried during the song. A bit of an L, don’t you think?”

Dream swallowed the lump in his throat. “Some would say that.”

“Not me though. Nope. I didn’t laugh as my friend cried over my dead self. No. Who would do that?”

The lump broke as tears finally fell down his cheeks, soaking his face and neck. “God," Dream gasped out, "shut up Techno."

Techno laughed again, but it was quieter. Gentler. The kind he used to get late at night on Discord calls brainstorming ridiculous Ideas while talking about nonsense. The ones they had after MCCs, the ones they did brainstorming lore, the ones where Techno was the person he is. Was.

Dream sniffled a little as he tried to calm himself down. He had no doubt Techno heard it, and was prepared for a barb when he heard:

“Sorry I missed your birthday. And everything else that happened.”

Dream took a deep, shaky breath. Breathe. “It’s okay dude. I know you would’ve been there.”

“Still,” Techno said, keyboard clicking again. “You deserve to hear it.”

A silence came over them. It was peaceful though. Like the end of the day, before bed. Or the end of a long battle. A hard won peace.

The clicks of Techno's keyboard slowly came to a stop. Dream heard him take a breath. "I have to go now."

Dream closed whatever was on his computer, and leaned back in his chair. He understood the deeper meaning.

For the sake of familiarity, he said, “I’ll let you know when I’m free again.”

Techno laughed. It rang in Dream's head, as though he was really hearing it. “Sure nerd. Bet you will.”

Dream woke up alone in his bed.

He had managed to kick off the blankets in the night. Patches, who had been with him earlier, was nowhere to be found. And his pillow was soaked with tears.

He swung himself out of bed and grabbed the water glass on the stand, taking deep sips. He stared as bis (thankfully) shrimpless walls as he thought over the dream.

Dream isn’t religious. Hasn’t been since he was small and blindly following his family to church. Nor is he superstitious. He doesn’t believe in ghosts, or a heaven, or the walking dead.

But as he settled himself back into bed, after washing his face, drinking more water, and replacing his pillowcase, he said to the empty room:

“Thanks, Techno. For everything.”

I am so incredibly excited to see how Foolish and Tina decide to approach mcc because they’re both so persistent/competitive in their own ways. 

Like, Foolish will put his everything into every single game that he ever plays (slither.io, curveball, valo, fortnite, building in mc come to mind). He will grind and grind a game and will usually laugh about failures or dramatize his reactions. He’s also been in several competitive twitch rivals events with many of them being in Minecraft. As punz said (paraphrased), he is very good at setting a light-hearted tone, but he knows how to sweat. 

Tina, on the other hand, isn’t someone that we often see grinding for a game. She said during twitch rivals Vegas while learning how to do parkour that she doesn’t like failing over and over in front of other people (which is totally fair). But she wanted to learn that stuff because she hates letting people down if they are depending on her. I totally believe that with more practice, she will become mechanically adept. If you look at the games that she is proud of and has tons of hours in (Tetris, speed runners, hollow knight), she is super impressive to watch (especially since she plays hollow knight and speed runners on her keyboard)!

I think that they are both probably the types to practice a lot for an event like mcc because they have been anticipating being a part of it for a long time, even if they won’t stream all of it. I am crossing my fingers that I will be able to catch any practice streams that they do take part in!

Then individually holy heck, entire team top 15???? Fruit 3rd Joel 6th Grian 11th Scott 14???????? My streamers popped off!!!! Their teamwork was phenomenal and their energy was high and humourous- every game someone joked about Scott playtesting maps ("yeah I've played ace race with the new tridents THAT WAS A JOKE THAT WAS A JOKE SLASH JAY SLASH JAY") or Fruit and lava ("I'm getting flashbacks" "the key to Survival Games is not to put yourself in lava"). The callbacks to previous MCCs (Wilbur's burning building, Joel spilling water on his keyboard, return of the gong etc) and the special stuff for Fruit's birthday!! The random interactions with other Players- Grian calling Tubbo his hero for voting Build Mart, Pearl calling Grian Griba during DB and sneaking around during the break, Grian and Pete being excited together for Purple DB, Martyn randomly showing up?? Phil mistaking Scott for a fan in TGTTOS and hitting him and then Grian and Phil smacking each other while Grian just laughed for a minute straight <3 every Joel and Oli interaction <3 Scott and Joel cheering for Callum when he popped off <3

Onto the games themselves;

They had incredible teamwork and communication and finished second in Grid Runners almost entirely as a result! Their skills really shown with the tower and prison challenges as they effectively communicated what to do- Fruit did the parkour and called out which pistons to activate, and in the building room Grian was able to immediately tell the others what to do- "make an iron golem, then put the blue on the hand".

Sky Battle being an unexpected victory?? Hello?? Like when it was selected Grian went "this is going to kill my motivation" and asked if he could just yeet himself off. Then they won the first round only for Fruit to instantly fall off the first three seconds of round two lmaooo. "If you take care of the bridging, I'll follow you to death" ok Mr. Roleplayer calm down Grian this isn't 3rd Life. Grian getting 6 kills including Punz and Tommy?? Scott taking out a whole team iirc with an enderpearl to attack from behind and going "if I'm not in Callum's top ten plays!"?? Grian and Scott saying they were "channeling Technoblade" >>> the rest of the event. Joel being terrible at bridging and everyone laughing at him. Grian coming THIRD in SKY BATTLE and first on his team while Fruit placed last!! Then Grian saying he was pumped after the game after expecting it to ruin his mood <3 joking about Fruit being their nerf and that Grian really was going to carry them to DB <3

Parkour Tag was one of their worst games and they didn't even do badly! Grian going "don't worry guys I'll go hunt Blue, I'll step up", Scott telling Fruit he'd hunt the last two teams (incorrectly) saying "it's red and pink" "oh G-d", Joel wanting to hunt Oli specifically then getting all of Green in 20 second as all of Purple survived to the end! Grian saying he'd call out for Scott and Joel immediately talking, and Scott telling him to shush. And of course "we didn't stop when Wilbur's building was on fire why are we stopping for a pee break"

Grian joking he only liked his team because they'd win, Scott asking if their friendship meant anything, Grian being silent, Scott indignantly going "I gave up my bed for you the other weekend!" then Grian immediately and sincerely saying how much he appreciated them (soft moment, made me 🥺) (also hello was that from the Mumbo Jimmy Scott meetup?? Was Grian there?? Was it for his birthday?? Scott pls I wanna hear the story)

TGTTOS and Grian being right at the front with Phil and Pete for Terra Swoop Force and then missing the podium, falling underneath it and getting stuck, losing first place </3 pain and suffering I tell you. Grian getting third on the second map, Fruit popped off as usual, Grian and Phil smacking each other under the plane and Phil hitting Scott instead of a fan, Grian mistaking Dream for Fruit and trying to follow him, Scott refusing to punch the Simmers or Niki <3 Scott saying he thought they removed the breakdown map "because it was hellish" lmaooo

The break and Pearl and Tommy standing by Grian <3 Pearl messing with him <3 Hermits my beloved every tag on every post about that moment is "they're siblings your honour" and they're right

Grian coming back, saying "ok let's unmute and hope it isn't Survival Games" only for Joel to immediately say "it's Survival Games" as Grian starts to fake-cry. All the Dreamslayer jokes. Survival Games starting very dodgy with them getting like no items and running into Pink early before they got absolutely stacked like hello?? Fruit had Feather Falling boots and a Quick Charge crossbow and he and Grian had Punch II bows! Fruit had speed and regen the entire end fight! Fruit and Joel POPPING OFF and winning SG!!! Lowkey the spiritual successor to MCC9 Blue Bats our beloved

Ace Race!! Scott frantically shouting "SLASH JAY" after joking about the map. Fruit Joel and Grian all did the big skip at the end, Fruit twice despite never doing it before! Grian going from 21st to 9th and then messing up with the new tridents and falling back to mid 20s </3 the entire team doing super well and Fruit only being a tenth of a second off Callum's time! Build Mart brought mild panic but that didn't stop them at all- they were in their element in the confusion and it showed! First overall baby!! Tubbo singlehandedly ensuring Build Mart was picked and Scott telling everyone to stream Life by the Sea to say thank you!! Grian called Tubbo his hero! Fruit was a great floater and the entire team came together to work on the gold builds, giving them the lead!

Sands of Time and Sand Daddy! Why! And wow Grian really did not hesitate there huh. But really they did amazing as well, even with Vexes killing Grian instantly (I've decided that was the Convex actually <3) and Scott's "oh purple opened a vault- OH WAIT THAT'S US" lmaoo. Grian walking into a room of locked doors, one with a ravager and another with a lot of coins, randomly flipping a lever and getting the coins before realizing what could've happened?? Joel doing the word puzzles, Grian calling Fruit over to do the lava chain parkour and Fruit clutching it up as a Vex attacked him!! Each team member earning 1k coins!! Scott shaming Sapnap for throwing a tomato at Niki <3

And then in Dodgebolt we saw the return of Grian "it's a team game, everybody gets to shoot" Hermitcraft, with the new quote of "we ride together we die together". Them going into DB by saying how much fun they had playing together <3 Scott saying he didn't mind Pink winning because Dream would be donating to cancer research <3 Grian turning to the audience and dramatically looking to the heavens <3 Dodgebolt was amazing- Grian body blocking for Fruit, Dreamslayer moment, Grian managing to kill 2/3 during a 1v3 during a panic attack. He deserves the world actually /parasocial. The others all asking Grian if he was okay and telling him to take his time when they realized he was serious about the panic attack. Congratulating each other after the event and talking about how much fun they had, plus all the money raised for charity <3

It all started with you going acapella on accident. You had this song stuck in your head and you started singing without thinking about it. Of course Wilbur’s mic picked it up.

B- Begging

Chat loved hearing you sing, but not as much as Wilbur. “Just please come on stream with me! I wanna have a little concert with you!” You tried to say no, but Wilbur just kept begging for you to sing with him, and how were you supposed to say no?

C- “Change My Clothes”

You took Alec’s part, just saying. It was a good confidence booster song for you because you could go any range that you wanted.

Not everything can be taken seriously. Not even this super serious stream. You and Wilbur would make fun of each other whenever you had the chance.

You are no where near as talented as Wilbur at any music thing. Well, today was the day that you were gonna learn. Wilbur would teach you quick notes on the keyboard that way you could help him play it.

All love songs were chosen purposely to reflect your relationship. Some songs hit hard and it was hard to control your emotions, but you and Wilbur made it through. And ofc chat was loving it.

This one song, I can't even remember what it was, but you two decided to pretend like it was a music video. One of your best bits yet.

Singing together made both of you melt. This was one of your moments together that made you feel like you two were on top of the world together and nothing else mattered.

This is clearly based off of MCC All Stars Ace Race. Wilbur was just so hot durning it and I had to include it in here. You know damn well that Wilbur changed the lyrics to compliment you too.

Think of like a Jackbox stream, but just Rap city. But it was all good things, not actually trashing

S- Soprano

The high harmony, your least favorite part and Wilbur’s favorite part. He loved it when you tried to go higher to harmonize with him. But of course, he had to put you in your place and go even higher than you to prove his supremacy. 

T- Taylor Swift

Every song was Taylor’s version of course. And it was more of an analysis than actually singing.

U- Ukulele 

Wait, you can actually play this one. And it made the stream so much more fun. It was something that you were actually better at doing than Wilbur. You finally got your little moment. 

V- Voice Cracks

You tried not to talk about them, but Wilbur couldn't help but laugh. It became a running joke throughout the stream.

W- Warm-Ups

Wilbur cared for you so much. He knew that you didn't sing much, and definitely not for this long at a time. He made you two do stupid little middle school warm-ups to “protect your voice”. It was probably for the best too. 

X- X Factor 

Your favorite part of the stream was when Wilbur set up his desk to make it seem like you were on X-Factor. You had to audition for him and everything. Somehow the Cat Keyboard beat you... dont ask me how.

Y- “Your Sister Was Right”

For some reason people thought that this song was about you, but it wasn’t. But even when Wilbur played it, he still got emotional. He feared that he would mess up again with you and he was so scared of that. You two took a “bathroom break” but it was really just for that you could comfort him and reassure him that he was perfect.

Z- ZZZ... 

You started to get tired so you leaned on Wilbur’s shoulder. Singing turned to humming and humming turned to dozing off. The final blow was Wilbur stroking your hair and literally singing you to sleep. The stream ended without a good bye message because he didn't want to wake you up.
