butlerfamupdates I actually applaud People Magazine for this. All day magazine’s have posted Austin’s cutest moments with Luci and talked about what a wonderful Dad he is - which no one would ever doubt to think he is - but Luci’s mom is very much present as well and deserves love too. Luci loves both her parents. It’s normal for a kid to have favorites, it doesn’t make the other parent ‘bad.’

as you write up the mission report, your fingers splayed right against your temples trying to soothe the tension, the root cause of all problems in your life - your very ridiculous boyfriend - sets something down on your desk. 

you look up to find a very cheeky grin on his face, teetering on that fine line that he toes between bothersome and endearing as he waits for your response. 

“satoru.” 

“yes, my love?” 

“why did you just give me a muffin with wax on it?” 

he frowns, his upper lip jutting out into a soft pout. 

“it’s a cupcake, baby.” 

“where’s the frosting, master chef?” 

he yanks his blindfold down, a guilty smile pressed on his face. 

“in my stomach. you just took so long on your mission and i got so hungry that i just ate some. just a teeny tiny bite.” 

you lift the sad excuse of a cupcake into the air between you two, glaring at him with your eyes narrowed. he gives you a sheepish smile in response, as he leans forward to press a kiss to your forehead in apology. 

“what’s with the wax in the middle?” 

“that’s a candle.” 

“why is there a candle in my non-cupcake?” 

“it’s august first, sweet thing! it’s the start of y/n month!” he responds, so matter of factly like it’s the simplest thing in the world. 

you now realize what’s happening. and you’re going to stop it in your tracks. 

back in december, you surprised satoru and megumi - deeming the entire month of december  their month and giving them little surprises and gifts for the entire thirty one days. it was more for megumi than satoru at first. 

“megs.” 

“yes, y/n?” 

“what flavor birthday cake do you want, kid? we’ll order it soon so it’s all nice and ready to be picked up on friday, okay?” 

you turn around to find him sitting there with a blank face. you walk up to his side, leaning over so your eyes can be level with his. 

“are you one of those kids who hates cake? we can do ice cream, muffins, even vegetables if that’s what tickles your fancy. whatever you want, okay?” 

and when he mutters out those six words, it stops you in your tracks all together. 

“i’ve never had birthday cake before. i don’t know which one i like.”

after he admitted that to you, you made sure that you and satoru went the entire six miles for him, so that he’d love his birthday, so he could feel special. because of course that asshole toji never did it for him. 

you ordered every flavor of cake so he could pick a favorite (vanilla won) and got piles and piles of gifts with the gojo clan money. and since satoru is satoru, you had to make sure he had his fair share of celebration that month too since they were both born in december. 

you never expected them to do it back. and you didn’t want him to either. and it’s not that you don’t appreciate it or don’t love him for wanting to go the extra mile for you because you do, it’s just that…

you hate birthdays. 

after a string of misfortunes year after year, of counting down the days just to be kicked down, has turned you off from the holiday all together. 

after inviting everyone to your fifteenth birthday at the bowling alley, just to have no one show up. to sit there in embarrassment, convincing your parents for hours on end that people will show up, that they’ll eat the cake your mom spent hours making just to take the entire thing home and get an embarrassing reminder every time you opened the fridge. 

or your nineteenth birthday. when your parents had an important graduation party to go to and your siblings were out of town, when you spent the entire day wallowing in your room, your phone absent of notifications. because no one remembered and those who did didn’t care enough to stay. 

year after year, a cruel reminder that a day that’s supposed to be special, that’s supposed to be about you, is anything but. 

you can make sure that megumi, tsumiki, and satoru don’t feel the same. that their special days aren’t tainted. but yours is already far beyond repair and you’d like to keep it where it is. deep in your mind, where no one can touch it. 

“satoru. can we not do y/n month? i-i don’t want to celebrate my birthday.” 

satoru, for all intents and purposes, looks like a kicked dog. 

“what do you mean? you love birthdays!” 

“i love your birthday, ‘toru. and miki and megs too but i don’t want all that for mine. it’s- let’s just pretend its a normal day. i’ll go to work, we’ll eat dinner, and then you can be nice to me and i can get some at the end of the night, if you know what i mean.” you say, giving him a cheeky grin. 

he brings his hands up to your cheeks, cupping your face in his hands. 

“but it’s your birthday, silly. i’ll let you get some, obviously, but we have to do more than that.” he responds, frowning. 

you lean into his touch, his hands moving to snake around your waist as you sigh into his chest. 

“toru. the best present you can give me is if we do nothing. i-i don’t like to think about my birthday because it makes me sad and i just want to have a normal day with the three of you. i-i don’t expect you to understand but can you just do that for me? is that okay?” you ask, looking up at his sparkly blue eyes, in the few moments they’re free from his blindfold. 

he leans forward, to press the softest kiss to your lips, before pulling back. 

“okay. no birthday.” 

you should have known better that satoru gojo does not take no for an answer.

you wake up in the morning to two very smiley faces and one teeny tiny smile staring at you. satoru, tsumiki, and megumi are all wearing matching purple birthday hats, surrounded in a plethora of streamers in your bedroom. the second you flicker your eyes open, they all pop confetti into the air, the sound catching you off guard. 

“oh my-” 

“happy birthday, my love!” satoru responds, excitedly leaning over to kiss you. he leans too hard because then he’s knocked you over, the two of you tangled up in the sheets and the confetti falling on your bed. 

you sit up as megumi and tsumki climb onto the bed with you, tsumki pressing a wet kiss to your cheek while megumi tucks himself into your arm to give you a hug. 

“how did you even do this while i was still in the room?” 

satoru props himself up to pull one of the matching party hats onto your head and press a kiss to your forehead as he explains. 

“you sleep like the walking dead, babe. we literally popped the confetti once before and it didn’t even wake you up.” 

you take in the room in earnest this time, the three of them intently watching you. there are sparkly gold streamers hanging from the wall, a little handmade sign that has tsumiki and megumi written all over it taped to the wall, and a sweet little tray of your favorite breakfast on the side. 

you turn to your left to find satoru looking at you, that stupid, stupid lovestruck grin on his face as he stares you down. 

“you like it, babe?” 

“satoru, you didn’t have to, i just-” 

he clamps his hand over your mouth, feigning his best serious look. 

“i held off for the other twenty four days of august babe. i had so much planned and i threw it all out for you. but you’re going to let me have this one day and do everything i say because it’s your birthday.” 

“shouldn’t you listen to me because i’m the birthday girl?” 

“i only accept that rule when the birthday girl isn’t being stupid.” 

“hey, you just-”

“did you like it, y/n?” 

you place one of your hands in megumi’s hair, who's still tucked into your side, as you crush satoru’s hand in your other hand.

“it really is sweet. thank you. i’ve never had anyone do something like this for me before.” 

satoru gives you a satisfied smile as he leans forward, pressing another kiss to your face. 

“get used to it. you’ve got like fifty more birthdays with me.” he responds, hopping off the bed as he sets the tray in front of you.

satoru wasn’t kidding when he said he was going to go all out. because after breakfast, he takes the three of you out on the town, to go bowling. which is something you were originally against, because in all honestly, you haven’t returned to an alley since your fifteenth birthday. 

but he drags you in by the wrist and you have so much fun that you forget about the entire thing. satoru’s cheater ass runs down the alley when his ball went into the gutter, tsumiki spends the entire time looking for a pink bowling ball and can’t find one, and megumi gets way too excited about the all you can eat nachos that he accidentally ate too many and almost threw up. 

the entire thing is so silly and so genuinely fun that you don’t think about sitting in the alley alone as a kid even once. you’re laughing too hard to even remember.

and when you get home, your entire apartment is decked out this time and all your friends are jumping out at you the second you walk in, pressing warm kisses to your cheek and wishing you a happy birthday. 

of course he did a surprise party. satoru rents out a karaoke machine, makes them all play a game about who knew you best (nanami won, satoru was pissed), made you open gifts, and brought you a real cake with frosting and candles on it. 

and the entire thing makes you so happy, you could cry. 

you stand by the half eaten cake as everyone winds down in the foyer, stuck in their own conversations. and the entire day, the entire ordeal that satoru went to plan this makes your heart squelch as you watch it in front of you. 

but there’s some part of you. thirteen, fifteen, nineteen year old you that still sits in your head. that remembers that pitiful feeling of being alone on your birthday and convinces you that this is a one time thing.

that it’s the exception, not the rule. that your birthday is nothing to celebrate, still. 

you feel a hand snake around your waist and a pair of lips on your neck as satoru wraps himself around you, his voice warm on your neck. 

“did you enjoy today, birthday girl?”

“yeah. I love you, ‘toru. thank you.” 

you lean to the side to press a kiss to his cheek, before you focus back in on megumi and nanami’s very intense chess game that’s going on. 

“princess.” 

“hm?” 

“i know you. tell me what’s going on in that head. you wanted chocolate instead of red velvet, didn’t you?”  

“well, when you put it like that-”

“red velvet and chocolate are the same. it’s just dyed a different color!” 

you laugh as you turn around in his arms, knotting your knuckles together around his neck. 

“no, satoru. you made it perfect and i loved every second.” 

“then?” 

“it’s just weird, love. i’m not sure how to explain.” 

satoru leans down to put his hands around your waist and lift you up onto the counter. you’re both level height now, your face a few inches from him as you try your best to explain the block in your chest. 

“i love that you did this for me, please don’t think i didn’t. but some part of me can’t help but feel less than right now.” you whisper, his eyes washing over in concern. 

“less than what?” 

“i just mean- this is the first time someone has done this for me and i-” you respond, your voice cracking as those hot tears fall out of your eyes. 

he brings his hand up to your cheek, his touch warm. 

“sweetheart. you know you deserve this right? big fancy birthday parties? breakfast in bed and handmade decorations and birthday cards?” 

you can feel the tears pouring out of your eyes even harder at his words, his voice so soft that it makes every untouched wound in your mind hurt. 

“i-i know everyone deserves it logically but it’s just been so many years and no-no one ever wanted to do it for me that i just-no one even cared and i still feel like they don’t-” 

satoru brings his hands around your waist as he leans the majority of his frame into yours, his mouth hovering right by your ear. he’s whispering soft words into your ear as he tells you to calm down, his hands rubbing small circles into your back. 

“y/n. your birthday is very special to me.” 

you bring your hands up to your eyes as you wipe your tears away, pouting at him through the redness on your face. 

“why’s that?” 

“everyday, i’m grateful you were born. that you’re in my life, that you’re with me, that you’re in this world.”

he brings your knuckles up to his mouth as he presses a soft kiss, a beaming, warm smile on his face. 

“the day you were born should always be celebrated. with this intensity, if not more. it’s another day that you, another year that you’re on this earth here with me. with us, living and breathing.” 

he presses a kiss to your cheek before whispering the final words in your ear, that shatter your resolve completely. 

“what is there not to celebrate, sweetheart? it’s just another year i got to spend with you. another year i get to watch you push on past what bothers you, to stay soft when everything around you is hard. another year you keep fighting. that is always, always something to celebrate.” 

you wrap your arms around his neck as he pulls you into his hug, the hold so tight that you can physically feel the pressure in your chest. you must have stirred up some commotion with your crying because they’re all standing at your side now, irritated looks on all of their faces.

“you made her cry, asshole.” shoko says, rolling her eyes at him. 

“you give us a whole lecture about how this day needs to be treated like a national holiday and then your dumbass made her cry?” suguru says, pinching the bridge of his nose. 

you pull away from your hug, laughing at their insistence as satoru starts defending himself, and you can’t help but feel it. 

excited for your birthday next year. 

because you know satoru and you know he’s already planning out the ten miles for y/n month for the next year.

So my studying was interrupted by a sudden moment of weakness for some soft, soft papa levi. This is the imagine I thought of (NOT a request)

I love your writing Sweets, truly makes my day. Anyhoo, maybe this random thing/imagine I wrote can be a little appreciation/thank you post? idk but since you also like soft dad levi content, I thought I should share it with you. have a good day btw. 

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Levi n his wife have been married for a few years n are expecting their first kid (which they both wanted btw, Levi in particular was so soft at the idea n excited as he felt he was truly in a good place in his life to accommodate this) sooner than they think. So it's December 24th, almost Dec 25th, n they're at home relaxing, y/n 'resting' n Levi doing some cleaning. Now for about the previous day or so, y/n has been having some mild contractions causing her to scrunch her brows n gasp but she has been hiding this from Levi. She thinks it may be the real thing (which it is, as later proves) and she thinks she can wait it out until the day of 25th Dec is over and until it's the 26th -- she doesn't wanna ruin Levi's bday or feel like it's gonna take away from anything/make it more of a shared day since it's already both Levi's bday n Christmas. Levi is obviously very loving, attentive n caring to her throughout the pregnancy n is very good at reading his wife's demeanour. So y/n has to try extra hard to hide the contractions by trying to seem like everything's normal when he comes to talk to her or rubs her back. But as y/n rests she keeps getting mild pains (relatively spread apart) n groaning slightly, pretending to sleep n hiding under the blankets when Levi comes to check on her. Fast forward when it is the 25th, y/n n Levi have a little party for Levi's bday w only their closest friends (hange, Erwin, Furlan, Isabelle etc etc) in the evening. There was a moment when y/n rounded a corner in their house n stood in the hallway, panting heavily n clenching her jaw, leaning against the wall. Levi walks to see where she went n this is where she almost gets caught -- as quickly as it subsides, she composes herself n turns around to see Levi there, face full of concern, hand outstretched. Just as he's about to speak, y/n interrupts him n yawns loudly, still leaning on the wall saying she's just going to go lie down for a bit whilst their guests have some drinks. Levi frowns, asking if she's okay n slightly thinks she's hiding sumn from him n he says he can tell the guests to go home early n they can go to bed early n cuddle if she wants (to calm them both). Y/n says it's fine, insisting the party goes on -- but just as Levi is about to put his arm around her to help her up the stairs, she flinches, shaking his arm away n just as she feels another contraction coming she turns to go to the stairs, breathing n shakily seething through her teeth "...I-I said I-Im fine Levi". Levi tells y/n to look at him, but she's too focused on concentrating through the pain, so Levi stands infront of her n bends his head to look down at her face (y/n's eyes are closed so she can't see him) but she just covers it with a yawn n starts to walk up the stairs as Levi goes back to politely, and quietly, tell the guests to go home (unbeknownst to y/n), thanking them n wishing them well. As y/n reaches their bedroom upstairs, she pants loudly from the exhaustion, slumping against the wall eyes shut, then slowly goes to sit on their shared bed. Y/n yelps in pain, burying her head in her hands, but as she yelps, Levi comes running through the door, crouching down in front of her n removing her hands from her face gently, placing his hands in hers n giving a comforting squeeze. His disposition immediately changes to stern yet soft as he takes y/n in: panting, eyes shut, gasping, the grip on his hand -- the signs were all there, Levi had read up about pregnancy so he could be the most informed and help his wife. Levi softly says, "Hey-hey y/n, just breathe and hold my hand, after this contraction subsides were going to the hospital, okay?" Y/n just shakes her head as she sobs lightly, looking at the clock which displays "6:00pm" (25th Dec). Now it's Levi's turn to furrow his brows -- "what do you mean no? This isn't up for debate y/n, we both know the baby's coming soon. We can't wait any longer. I just want both of you to be okay.." that's it, that's what did it for y/n. She cried, but not from the pain -- from a dual sense of guilt that she'd kept it from him since yesterday (24th dec) and equally that it may well be that their baby is born on the 25th."y/n what-" that's when y/n tells Levi: Tells him that these contractions started yesterday and that she didn't want to ruin his birthday n have them share a birthday and Christmas. Levi's face is a mix of hurt, concern, slight anger and disappointment (in her for not telling him and in himself for not pressing his earlier concern further) as he cups her cheek n tells her "you can't be serious y/n. So yesterday you were hiding this from me and being all quiet when you were in pain? Tch. I knew something was up with you but you should've told me yesterday. I love you so much and how considerate you are, but you really shouldn't have kept this and felt that you needed to wait till tomorrow. If kuchel is coming now, she's coming now; it can't be helped, okay? I really wouldn't have minded sharing my birthday with her - in fact, I would've liked it...." Levi places his hand on her stomach, moving it in circular motions and pleads, voice thick with emotion "...but please y/n, can we please go to the hospital now?" Levi wipes her tears as y/n nods but just then y/n has another contraction, grimacing. but Levi's there -- he sits next to her on the bed, rubbing her back with one hand, kissing her forehead as his other hand holds her hand as she whimpers lightly. During this, Levi softly coos "don't ever hide how you feel from me again y/n -- ever. This was stupid and wreckless...yet so you", Levi slightly rolls his eyes. Levi then texts his friend Erwin to drive him and y/n, and then Levi slowly helps y/n down the stairs to their car as he supports her to the hospital. Levi was with her through the whole delivery which was rough to say the least, both on y/n and Levi. For some parts she sat between his legs, her back against his chest groaning with her head on his shoulder as he whispered support n kissed her. Yes, Levi was going to be there for it all. So when at approximately 11:55 pm on the 25th of December they both heard a piercing cry, Levi could only chuckle softly and tear up as he brokenly sucked in a breath when kuchel was passed into his arms, all swaddled in a blanket and cute hat. Y/n lay back panting, exhausted, on the brink of sleeping but as Levi brought over their daughter, she got newfound strength. Levi bumps his nose with hers, their foreheads touching as he softly says, "see y/n, there's no greater birthday gift I could have gotten today, or ever. I love you so much and...thank you so much for bringing her to us safely", y/n tears up at this as she stares at kuchel. Levi then gently places her on y/n's chest as he wraps his arms around both his girls, in so much awe, love and a hint of shock. After seeing his baby kutchel, Levi is 1000% certain, he will definitely be looking forward to now sharing his birthday.

•theres,, sometimes yamato wishes it was just him and his dad again

•namely when mikako yanks his chair away right as he's sitting down. he kinda has some regrets then

OMG HELLO MODERN!PATROCHILLES PERCY LOVE CHILD ANON who simply put that thought into my brain and is also legendary....... lemme whip something up for you :’) so in this au i’ll do it as modern!patrochilles legit adopt percy as their lovechild bc this is an au and i can do what i want LMFAO (it feels so weird not having sally in here but i will add her somehow regardless bc she’s the QUEEN) hope you enjoy friend!!!

- patroclus & achilles see percy and see his wide bright sea-green eyes looking up at them and they mirror achilles’ spearmint green eyes and reminds achilles of patroclus’ skops nickname, and percy’s hair is dark like patroclus’ and is tan like him too and he has a giggle that is like a melody and both of them think. okay he is ours and then they get told that his name is “perseus” aka the only demigod that lived a long & safe life and they have a sense of relief and think. wow he really is ours

- on the ride home percy is a little quiet but he has a sense of happiness and can’t really put it into words, and patroclus holds percy’s tiny little hand and tells him that they’re all gonna be a family and tells him how lucky he & achilles feel that they have a beautiful joy in their life and perseus smiles and achilles is driving and trying not to cry bc he can see how beautiful a son perseus is going to be and how beautiful a dad patroclus already is

- now. patroclus would be the kind, soft, warm, empathetic, semi-strict parent who always gives the best advice, wants there to be a two way street of trust, honesty, and respect and he is such a soft dad and achilles would be the fun, wild card, dorky dad who protects his child with a fervor and relates to perseus & is very loving just like patroclus and is Iike the best friend dad, and the entire time they’re both so loving to percy & sometimes patroclus is rolling his eyes playfully and is like “i’m raising TWO kids” after perseus & achilles have blue paint on themselves after making an art project for patroclus that he looks at & admires and tears up at while putting it on the wall :’)

- percy calls them lily & pat sometimes and they call him perse, perseus, and cici <3

- they all like to celebrate the holidays and they give each other valentine’s day cards and patrochilles put a stuffed animal, his favorite candy, and some lil extra presents on percy’s bed after he comes from school. on halloween they dress percy up like a lil guppy and pat has his pumpkin costume and achilles w his greek god costume & they all go trick or treating and both percy & achilles ask for candy while pat is just chastising achilles and telling him “you better share w perseus” hehe and on christmas it’s filled w love, laughter, cheer, & tons of presents on all sides :’) percy gives them homemade drawings and the sweetest cards and patrochilles give him a photo framed of all three of them + their golden retriever puppy chiron, a polaroid, and a certificate saying that they adopted a baby seal in perseus’ name <3

- they keep every little card that they give each other and they have scrapbooks and albums and they want to carry these memories forever :’) and omg when it’s percy’s bday it is simply WILD! fast forward a couple years later it’s so much fun and they eat cake and have a great summer picnic outside w all of percy’s friends and yes everyone is checking achilles & patroclus out bc they’re valid and they all have such a grand ol’ time :’) annabeth, jason, frank, hazel, and will talk to patroclus a lot and piper, leo, nico, reyna, and thalia talk to achilles a lot and they all intermingle and percy is just so happy that everyone is getting along and they all tell him that his dads are the coolest and so kind and funny and he feels a rush of pride

- also patrochilles are DILFs. no i will not elaborate and i will not allow someone to disagree with me. they’re DILFs and it’s time to accept it and honor it (achilles a proud DILF, patroclus rolling his eyes while blushing when he gets called that)

- fast forward to many years later and perseus has went through his awkward pre-teen years in which he talked to patroclus all about it bc he could relate and achilles was there to provide moral support bc even if he didn’t go through it he wants his son to know that everything he felt was valid and completely normal! now that percy has grown into his own he still knows that he can talk to them about his feelings but he also has a feeling of confidence in him

- i also think that every demigod has adhd so achilles can relate to perseus on that and patroclus helps perseus w his dyslexia and will stay up into the late hours of the night helping him with homework while achilles cuts up some fruit & figs for them to eat and he gives them both kisses and moral support and many needed breaks & snacks

- also fun fact a book percy has to read is by the infamous sally jackson who is literally patroclus’ favorite writer of ALL time and he’s so hype and he has written sally multiple times and is in correspondence with her and one time he was like “you should come by” and sally says “ofc!” and she ends up doing just that, she comes by their apartment and pat is Shook and mixing up his words and all that can come out is “i Love book” and achilles has to translate everything he says and perseus tells her how much he admires her writing and how the hell did she come up w the idea of gods & demigods and how did she have prose so beautiful while speaking of them? and sally just winks and percy smiles and feels like he understands :’) towards the end sally leaves and made sure to sign all of pat’s books and gives them a bust of poseidon who is her favorite god & he nearly passes out and she gives perseus a trident necklace that he will wear forever bc he knows it means something to her and for some reason, it means something to him too

- and LISTEN! perseus has grown into his own and is absolutely beautiful! he has bright green eyes and a lil eyebrow slit that he accidentally got while playing in the park in which patrochilles were so afraid but kept it together after patroclus patched him up, he is tan & tall w jet black hair with a deep & melodic voice, and he has the empathy, kindness, leadership, strength, wisdom, and badassery that was innate/instilled in him by his wonderful parents. patroclus the entire time is like damn those demigod genes!!!! making my baby boy look like a model just like his father smh what about me!!!! and achilles is like babe you’re gorgeous and perseus is like yeah dad you’re great

- and achilles and patroclus do a double take bc the entire time leading up to this percy never really called them dad he just called them nicknames or petnames and all of sudden the dam breaks and everyone is crying and hugging and achilles and patroclus both give percy the biggest kiss on either side of his cheek and percy’s face is being Squished but he doesn’t mind bc he can feel their love :’)

- and lemme tell y’all something achilles had a feeling his baby boy was a demigod after seeing all those monsters and creatures and patroclus could always see through the mist and growing up they wanted him to have a normal life, but achilles wanted percy to be able to protect himself so he taught percy how to fight & patroclus taught him stuff that he learned from medical school and how to patch himself/others up & percy is very well versed in all aspects and is very grateful for this

- percy is a troublemaker and sarcastic little shit who loves to curse and he really gets that from achilles & he is also sensitive, warm, empathetic and in touch with his emotions and he gets that from patroclus and he is the true lovechild of both of those dorks

- basically listen i could talk about them for hours and i can make so many of these but i know how long imma end up making this so lemme just say this: i love modern!patrochilles they’d be the best dads and i love perseus and they’re just a big happy family bc they DESERVE it <3 and maybe YOU know something that they don’t about sally ;) i didn’t know how i’d go about writing this but i hope you liked it! lemme know! <3 and so sorry this is all over the place hehe i know it’s scattered and long but i hope you like it! :’)

I'm also very bad at picking favourites in The Untamed. There are just so many contenders!! But I think lwj and wwx might be at the very top for me. I think I relate a lot to lwj too! I'm usually silent and seem closed off and unemotional until people know me. When I was younger, people have called me expressionless or commented on how I never smiled. And I relate to having grown up with strict rules and struggling to figure out how to navigate the world when you realise that those rules don't work.

I do agree with you about how xue yang might have turned out if he'd had more sympathy and compassion shown to him as a child. I do pity xue yang's, jiggy's and su she's circumstances for the same reason although I could never forgive their actions.

What are your favourite tropes, situations and scenes to read fanfiction about? I really enjoy canon compliant getting together fics, and friends to lovers, and YEARNING (and a lot more but these are the ones I seem to end up reading most). Oh and anything where the female characters get to survive, kick ass and live happily ever after.

i decided to let myself double bias donghun and chan after the concert, bc there was this moment when we were standing in line for the hi-touch where i was rly sure DH looked right at me?? it’s possible he was looking at the ppl around me too, but like it felt like he was looking right at me. plus we share a bday so like omg fate?? but then chan’s such a qt pie and he literally covered “do you wanna build a snowman?” like how could i not love him?? but yeah all the members are great :’) i haven’t seen that vid yet but i’ll keep it in mind~!

yeah i’m not at all a forgiving or even trusting person when it comes to real life, but that’s part of the fun of immersing yourself in fiction, heh. mdzs rly is fascinating in how it explores morality~ for some reason jgy and ss don’t break my heart like xy does tho... like i see where they’re coming from, but i don’t feel for them as much? maybe bc they were like twice as old as him when the main bad shit happened to them, idk. xy just feels like a misguided kid who never grew up and learned right from wrong, whereas the others... they feel a bit less childlike and a bit more sinister i guess, lol. i would never condone xy’s behavior tho, as least not with any more seriousness than when whx does so, lmao. it’s low-key kinda fun to jokingly excuse it tho 🙃

apparently asking my mom to stick up for me when my sister starts yelling at me about stupid things like accidentally spilling a drink upstairs, putting a sweatshirt on top of the dresser to block the box lights, her yelling at me over having a fan plugged in & on downstairs is “not something we need to talk about” & “your dad & i are working with av. on her anger” ( um bitch where she’s upstairs all the time & you bitches are downstairs 24/7. what are you having telepathic conversations about her anger issues ??? & yes im at the house all the time so its not like its happening when im not around ) & “you & kar. are out to get avery & get her into trouble & that’s why you keep bringing up old stuff” ( no we keep bringing up old shit bc if i had broken a door in this house i would have to pay to fix it & have all my shit taken away from me ).

also apparently when getting into heated discussions about the severity of covid-19, racism & how making jokes about stereotypes is racist, & other “political” issues ( aka human rights issues ), me pulling out articles & quoting scientific fact is “handling it wrong & attacking them” & my mom literally said she just shuts up & stops listening to me bc she doesnt want to hear it aka she’s not open to having her opinion changed on anything so y’know Fuck all of the kids who might die bc we have to open the schools back up & fuck their family members who might get sick if they bring it home & all the teachers & our schools arent eve requiring kids to wear masks just the teachers. & my other two sisters are going back to uni next month & one of them keeps fucking complaining about having to wear a mask & she fucking cheered the other day bc her school isnt in one of the counties in our state w/ mask requirements so when she has to go to this stupid sorority thing that they could do over fucking zoom next weekend, she’s just gonna be out there exposing herself & others to whatever fucking germs she has & im just so fucking tired.

& even my youngest sister was backing my mom up & was like “its just arguing all sisters dont get along all the time” & im like no av. has been physically & emotionally abusive to me & made me feel like i dont deserve any of the space or air i take up in our shared room the past 7 years & y’all are just mad that kar. & i are sitting here quietly & putting up with it anymore. & then she said “you just have to let it go & move on & like forgive her &  giver her a second chance” like no bitch this is her like 15th chance, im done. im so fucking done. but i cannot move out ?? bc i dont have a car. & i dont have money for a car or an apartment & i have no fucking friends & every person who is ‘supposedly’ my friend from home or school & shit, it’s always me who has to reach out first. always. & im tired of not feeling needed or wanted. but then oh why havent you done the dishes or the towels now im crying upstairs after ls or vacuumed or cooked yet. & when i do those things & ask for help from my sisters it’s well you’re not our parents & you cant tell us what to do.

& its my dads fucking bday & i spent the day making him a cake ( his family’s recipe meaning i had to call his parents who constantly harass me about my weigh t& my clothes & my hair & theyre racists homophobic assholes who i will never come out to but cant fucking cut out of my life yet bc i still live at home w/ my dad & bc their other son is supposed to be helping me get a car & bc they had to cosign my student loans last year & they told me i ha to watch what i eat as the stipulation for them signing & also they fucking guilt trip me anytime i spend more than a couple days not talking to them & explicitly try to make me feel bad that i enjoy the company of my mom’s parents more ) & now im upstairs crying bc i got into it w/ my mom while he & av. went to go pick up the pizza which is the only reason i brought it up.

oh not to mention the text btwn my mom & dad that i accidentally saw where they explicitly said kar & i implied we wanted av. to be put under a 72 hr psych hold as if asking that she be held accountable for her actions & not throw toothbrushes at us & shit is the same thing as that ??

so in case you were wondering no quarantine is not holding up great i fucking wish i could move out already but thats not gonna happen for probably a year & idk what to do i just need my own place so i can have space again & not feel like im constantly in it w/ 4-5 other people.

what’s good fam! basically there were no photos/videos allowed at this event so i thought i’d share a general overview/some highlights of the night below :~)

my mom and i were front and center! waiting two hours @ will call pays off lmao

chelsea strutted out first onstage (i fainted) and introduced the musical guest, saying that she found them when searching for her child’s first bday entertainment but realized it would be an insult to have them play for her child’s first bday

freinklin was bomb! one of them had a broken leg bc she “got hit by a car” as alleged by chelsea

the cast then all came out (title of ur sex tape lmao) and sat in order of andy, chelsea, melissa, stephanie, joe, terry, joel, dirk

sidenote but seeing terry crews in person is insane bc u know he has big muscles but like when my own two eyes landed on them i couldnt believe .... like... wow???

also everyone was out here lookin like a dime

anyways i fainted again

stephanie thanked us for being there and shared a little bit of her background as an immigrant

there was an empty seat next to andy which supposedly belonged to andre, who couldnt make it

they then preceded to roast andre through a series of letters “from him” that penned his support for trump

they did a table read of goof scripts chelsea wrote -- the first had the characters obsess over chelseaperetti.com with hilarious over-the-top versions of themselves and the second had them cuss every other word (highlight: boyle saying “biotch”)

invited series writer phil jackson on the stage for “feedback” on chelsea’s script and then he presented his own script that was prefaced as “a scene from the season six finale”

ofc everyone was freaking tf out until phil was like “alright pan to the bullpen. everyone sitting at their respect desks, sweating due to unbearable heat. we’re in the deep south. 1938.”

continues an absurd script where hitchcock ends up poisoning everyone and is also jake’s dad 

oh and everyone has southern accents

q&a time! someone asked who melissa would cast for amy’s 7 bros and she immediately said lin and proceeded w diego luna, javi muñoz, and more

my memory is failing me but i asked a q about any fun stories they had from comic con and andy said that on the bus ride back to los angeles, terry made the bus stop at in n out and actually said “terry’s hungry” in the third person (further proving that they all are their character)

lovely lovely comments about representation for latinas and the lgbtq+ community!!

someone asked what each actor wanted to see their character do in the future and chelsea basically mic dropped while saying “disband ICE”

after everyone basically bowed to her, chelsea was then like “now i want some white girls to say im their inspiration”

joe (in response to the q) said he wants to see boyle judge top chef

someone asked about favorite guest star and andy jokingly said “sterling k brown -- he’s emmy nominated” and mentioned sterling several times in light of his emmy snub (all in good fun ofc)

chelsea really had to pee for the last few questions and ran off the stage, saying “no one talk bad about me!”

joel told a really cute story about how he was born and raised in minnesota but always dreamed about living in brooklyn, eventually moved there w his wife and studied theater, and finally ended up in a show called brooklyn nine nine

some gal asked a q and then after they answered, she fangirled saying “i just wanna say that andy samberg has made eye contact with me twice” and then andy proceeded to lift his left hand and point to his wedding band and it was so cute and funny

sidenote i am 800% more attracted to andy after seeing him in person; didn’t know that was possible

again memory failing me but i will update if anything comes to mind

in summary: this cast is a gift from god … so wholesome …. so pure

UPDATE 7/24: lmao i just remembered that the cast has a running set joke where bc they’re actors, they can’t end taping a scene, which is usually signifies by the director/crew “cut cut,” so when they’re tired and want a take to end, they pretend there’s a bird in the ceiling and yell “caw caw”

they said andre is the worst perpetrator of this and sometimes just flaps his arms by his side to pretend he’s a bird
