The thing that really kills me about Logan is that his kids are disappointing and ultimately unfit to be CEO, and it's not just that they're like that because he made them like that, but that they're like that because he wants them to be that way.

For all his talk about them being spoiled or coddled and his rant in the S3 finale that getting cut out of running Waystar is their chance to "be your own man" and build something themselves, he has spent the entire show actively undermining any attempt of theirs to do that. Shiv stays out and works in politics, but as soon as she joins a big campaign that could actually distinguish her from her family, he tells her he wants to make her CEO. He offers to buy Kendall out of his shares, but as soon as Kendall tries to take the offer and cut himself out, he refuses. He says he wants them out of the business and doing their own thing, and then as soon as they start actually doing that and buy Pierce, he tries to get Roman back.

The fact of the matter is that as much as he might claim to want a "real" heir, what he really wants is to never need one and for his children to stay children: incomplete, incapable, and under his thumb.

and if i could hazard a 3rd point- democrats are picky eaters. republicans can fucking despise a candidate to hell and back, want them dead for personal reasons, think they're dumber than a bag of rocks, know Full well they're in a steep cognitive decline, and Still vote for them bc they want democrats (and the people who vote for them) to suffer by any means necessary and it's witnessing that suffering that fuels them until the next round of voting. also god said so. democrats want candidates to pass some arbitrary, unrealisitc vibe check, and even then they could barely vote in lockstep if you paid them.

i'd say this happens every 4 years, but given the amount of democrat voters that don't even show up for the little local elections in-between while republican voters do damn near Every Single Time, well. and then you wonder why we're here.

It just hit me how horrifying Kraang Prime having LEO as his host... Leo who is agile and one of the teams biggest "transportation".. Like his portaling ability is so busted. It might not seem like it at first.. but its a key and powerful ability.

Just the thought of Prime!Leo portal chopping someone's head off.. or when smth gets even just a little bit worrying they could just easily escape, not to mention leo has IMPECCABLE aim. And he knows his family, strategies..

something I’ve been thinking about lately is that, if Fukuzawa really does eventually die, and we get the Ranpo breakdown/corruption arc like the new op might be hinting at....... I really hope Mushitarou is a key person who can bring Ranpo back from his senses/save him. Considering that the perfect crime arc was when Ranpo’s Fyodor parallels were first shown, and Mushi’s arc is all about him learning to overcome grief..... I think it just makes sense in a lot of ways, and that it would be really moving to see Mushi try to help Ranpo overcome his loss, after how Ranpo initially helped him
