Killer x Y/N short story
One of the few short stories I will be writing. Requested by the wonderful @itsxroxannex as her honorable mention prize.
I do write commissions and short stories! Do you want a story? I can work with a small price (:
I'm using an image from Bing Image Creator to help the readers visualize where they are at and who they are talking to. It's for visual purposes only, and I do not claim it.
Enjoy the story!

The light from the sun bouncing off the rock hallways started to fade as the moon rose. The dripping from the ceiling had stopped, and monsters and humans started filling the tavern. It was supposed to be very busy tonight.
The tavern was underground, just below the surface life. Dartboards hung across the walls on various barrels. Small candles were lit beside them, either hanging from the ceiling or resting on uniquely carved tables. Carpets were strung across the floor, filled with old designs and symbols that the humans didn't understand, and the monsters refused to explain.
The bar itself looked like any other bar, but the counters were carved into the rocks and the drinks were stored within the earth. The tables were made from woven branches, and the chairs were also made from scattered parts of trees that were no longer needed elsewhere.
You weren't much for drinking. You had only come to the bar to talk with your friend, Shiro. Shiro ran the place during slow hours. Now that the night rush was coming, his co-workers came in to help him run the shift. He wouldn't have much time to talk anymore.
You started to pack your computer, flinging your bag over your shoulder. Shiro had told you of the many tales and tragedies that happen during the night rush, and you didn't want to stick around to become one of them.
"Leaving so soon?" Shiro asked as he wiped the table where you just sat. His baggy white hair fell over his face, and he smiled softly.
"You know how I am with crowds," you responded, hoping he would get the hint.
He didn't. "Well, surely it shouldn't be that busy tonight-"
He was cut off as three skeletons walked down the entrance stairs. It was apparent that they were some sort of gang, as they all wore the same-colored jacket, pants, and shoes. Each of them stood proudly as everyone went silent.
The tallest one had a large hole in his head, and his left eye was huge. It glowed red and barely made any movement when he looked around. He hunched over and had a large ax on his back. He never stopped smiling, which left an unhinged feeling in everyone who saw it.
The shortest one wore a hood over his head. His eyes glowed red, and one of them had a purple and blue tint to it. Unlike his tall counterpart, he never smiled. He glared at everyone who even dared to look at him. Monster ash covered his clothes, sparking fear in all who noticed.
The third one seemed the most normal of the group. His smile was contagious, and his extroverted personality always drew attention to him. Big black stripes dripped from his void eyes down to his neck. His coat was fluffier than the rest, and his soul wasn't hidden. It hung in front of his chest like a big red target. He twirled a knife in his hand before resting it by his side.
The Murder Time Trio, you recalled. You recognized each of their faces from wanted posters across the town. Working under Nightmare, they worked to harvest negativity.
The Star Sanses - rulers of this AU amongst many others - wanted to bring them to justice, but with all of the Sanses abilities to travel alternate universes, they were hard to track down.
You couldn't buy into the fact there were other worlds than your own. The only reason you believed it was the evidence before you; multiple versions of the same person taking different paths.
Shiro glanced over as the tavern filled with noise and music again. He rolled his eyes, grabbing a notepad and pen before walking over to the table they sat at.
The dart games began. Multiple people threw darts across the room to the targets. According to Shiro, this was how all the drama started. Someone would think a shot was unfair, and a fight would break out.
Deciding it wasn't the best idea to stay any longer, you weave through the crowd of monsters and humans trying to get to the bar to drink. You glanced at the table where the trio sat as they talked with Shiro. You pray they don't do anything to your friend.
As you stood between the dart targets, waiting for the round to be over, you eavesdrop on Shiro's conversation. He seemed bored, surprisingly.
"I'll have a margarita," the striped face one said.
"A big beer, please," Horror lowered his head.
"Think you can handle one of those again, Horror?" The striped face asked.
Horror didn't answer him. He waved his hand in dismissal to Shiro as he looked at the menu.
"I see," Shiro scribbled down the orders on his paper. "And for you, Dust?"
"Nothing," the hooded skeleton replied. "Someone has to be sober when Killer isn't."
"Hey, I would do just fine," Killer smirked. "I don't see you..."
The conversation faded out of hearing as shouts echoed across the tavern. Glancing behind you, you see a human and a monster arguing about who hit the target first as they shot their darts at the same time. The shouts almost frightened you, and you didn't think before stepping forward. Your goal was to get away from the chaos before more violence broke out. Maybe you shouldn't have come here, maybe it was a bad idea after all.
A dart flew towards your face.
You didn't have time to react before you were pulled off your feet, resting in the mercy of someone's arms as he caught the dart. "Woah darling, careful there," he sighed, his head turning toward the people who threw it.
You realize the man, or the skeleton that saved your head was Killer. His grip was firm around your waist from when he had pulled you away from the weapon. He dropped the dart and continued to glare at the monster that had thrown it.
The people playing the particular dart game went dead silent, all pointing to the person who threw the dart. He didn't seem to care. "Oh, come on, she walked in front of it! It's not my fault!"
"Pay attention to your surroundings more, mm?" Killer smirked, tilting his head. He turned towards you before the others could reply. "You too, cutie," he smirked, poking your nose. "Gotta be careful in places like these~"
His grip on your waist loosened as you backed up. A blush painted your face as you stared up at him. As your blush increased, so did his smile, making you blush more. The blood rushed to your face as you tried to cover your cheeks with your favorite-colored scarf.
"Do you seriously have to flirt with everyone you see, Killer?" Dust snapped, opening a deck of cards and flushing them across the table.
"Look at them, they're pretty!" Killer replied. "I didn't want them to get scratched by a silly dart!"
"Then they shouldn't be in a place like this," Horror rolled his eyes, glancing at the deck of cards Dust had started dealing.
Instant guilt washed over you. You didn't mean to cause any trouble, and Shiro was nowhere in sight to defend you. You gesture to Killer, thanking him for saving you before telling him you'll leave to not cause any more trouble.
Killer looked you up and down, smiling as his eyes made their way back to your face. "What's your name, Hun?" He smirks slyly.
You tell him your name, scratching your head in the process. One of the most wanted men in the multiverse was talking to you. In fact, he smiled when he looked at you. How could this be?
"Y/N, what a beautiful name," Killer takes a step closer to you, extending his hand. "You plan to get on out of here? I can make sure you get home safely."
You open your mouth to accept the offer but hesitate. He, along with his friends, were mass killers. It was obvious by the dust and blood across their clothes. Was he going to kill you? You had no idea.
If he was, then why would he go out of his way to pull you away from an incoming dart?
"Killer, you play or not?" Horror asked, interrupting your thoughts.
"Not now," Killer didn't take his eyes off you. "I wish to walk this lovely human home."
"Oh, can I come?" Horror smirked, his hand reaching for his ax.
Dust slapped his hand. "Not that kind of walk home," Dust rolled his eyes. "Look at him! His soul his turning into a heart! Pathetic, really."
Dust wasn't lying. Killer's soul had taken the form of an upside-down heart momentarily. You tilt your head in curiosity, surely that was a good sign.
"Hey!" The monster that had thrown the dart earlier shouted. "You broke my dart with your disgusting fingers!"
Killer raised his eyebrows as he shrugged. "Oops."
"That dart cost me hundreds of G!" He growled. "You're gonna pay for that!"
You felt Killer's hands run along your shoulders. "Time to go~" he whispered behind you.
As the monster tumbled near, he suddenly faded from sight. Everything vaporized into stripes as the underground tavern disappeared and was quickly replaced with the cool breeze of the surface.
The moon glimmered in the sky next to the stars as it shined down on the slightly paved street. There were no streetlights, but you could see the village in the distance. Fireflies glittered the sky along with the stars. There were a few trees and a river to cross, and the bridge over the river linked the road.
Tumblr media
"Whew, that was close," Killer chuckled, letting go of you. He walked over to your side and smirked down at you. "Don't worry, he won't catch us now."
"Thank you," you sighed with a smile before walking toward the village.
Killer started to follow you. "Hey, I know we like, just met, right? This is a little crazy," he glanced down at the ground as he caught up to you. His hands were shoved in his pockets, and he couldn't stop smiling. "But can I get your number?"
You widened your eyes, surprised. He really wanted your number after two minutes. Surely that couldn't be... This couldn't be happening, right? Wasn't that a red flag of some sort, and you, out of all people? You didn't see why someone as famous and as brave as him would pay attention-
You snapped back into reality, realizing that you had given him your phone, and he was already punching in his own number.
"Thanks, doll," Killer smiled to himself. "I didn't expect you to actually say yes. I'll fulfill my promise; let's get you home safely."
How the- you paused, unable to comprehend what just happened.
Despite the darkness and eerie noises surrounding you, you felt at peace. You couldn't help but wonder if that was because a skilled killer was by your side, ready to defend you if anything came your way. He made that clear with his actions at the tavern.
It didn't take long for Killer to start a conversation. He asked many questions and answered any questions you had. He often would laugh, smile, and tease you in such a way that made the butterflies in your stomach squirm. He was very charming, flirtatious, and unique. You couldn't recall if you met anyone like him.
And you liked that.
He was so different from everyone else that you had met, treated you well, and it was so easy to be yourself around him. He brought out a side of you that you thought died a long time ago. That side that made you feel... wild and free.
"Look look look," Killer begged, running off the path toward a lake. He picked up a rock and threw it across the water's surface. It must have skipped a hundred times before it plunged into the depths below. He picked up another one and did the same thing. "It's perfect water to skip the rocks on!"
You join his side and sit on a boulder nearby, watching him skip rocks as he continues to tell you about the first time won a card game, which you learned wasn't very often due to Dust having a special connection with cards.
"The look on his face when I won, hah! Priceless! Should've known better to have challenged me!"
You asked him if he had won the next two games after that.
"Uh, no, but that's not the point silly!" He smiled, heaving a great sigh as he looked up at the stars. He closed his eyes, letting the wind blow across his face as the ripples on the lake settled. The moon complimented his face and made him seem so peaceful and innocent. It highlighted his chest and showed the two small eyes that he had hidden within his skull.
You commented how he looks great in the moonlight. When he asked you how so, you got up and pointed out the various places the moonlight shined on him, and how it made him look so handsome.
"Tch, you're sweet," Killer snickered, brushing the hair out of your face. "But the moonlight on me is better on you."
Before you could recover from the sudden blush, he continued. "Have you ever skipped a stone across the water?"
As you shook your head, Killer frowned. He turned you around to face the lake and picked a stone up from the ground, admiring it in the moonlight. "Here, I'll teach you darling." He placed the stone in your hand and gestured that you try.
You tossed the rock into the water, it sunk in front of you.
"Heh, not like that." Killer came up from behind you and grabbed your wrists gently. "Here, let me guide you."
For the next thirty minutes, Killer moved your wrists in the correct motion. He gave tips on what to do with your fingers when you release the rock. You would have gotten it much sooner if you weren't so distracted by his sweet breath brushing against your cheek.
As you threw your hundredth stone, it skipped across the water more times than you can count. Joy filled your face, and your smile only increased when you heard Killer congratulate you.
"That was awesome!" He gleamed, running his hand along his skull. He quickly picked up a stone and skipped it across the water to catch up with yours. "Fast learner, eh?"
Before you could reply, Killer came up to you and embraced you. His hug was so snug, you felt safe in his arms. You wrap your arms around his back as the tension in your body flees. He was so warm, and he held you so tight... you didn't want to leave his arms.
Alas, it didn't last for long. Killer smiled and took your hand, guiding you up back to the path. "Alright, it's best I get you home, cutie," he smiled slyly. "The boys are probably wondering where I am."
You were closer to your home than you thought, to your dismay. Killer stood close to you, putting his hood over his skull to hide his face from the town as they turned down the street to your house. You almost had forgotten that he was a wanted killer with how enjoyable your time was with him. Surely, he wasn't all everyone said he was... he was so nice to you.
"Lovely house you have, I'll have to visit you sometime," Killer commented, smiling his usual charming smile as you approached the door. "Y/N, it was fun getting to know you, I'll call ya, alright? You're too pretty to say goodbye to, anyway."
You invited him to stay and watch a movie, but he declined.
"Nah, I'm sure Dust and Horror would be suspicious... besides, I cannot stay in the town for long unless I want Nightmare mad..." He took a few steps toward you until he was inches away from your face. He continued to smile as he took your hand. "However," he paused. He lifted your hand up to his face and kissed it gently. Once he met your eyes again, he smirked softly again. "I'm sure I could make an exception for you another night."
You didn't know how much more of his teasing you could take as your face turned red. You held your hand as if it was made of diamonds.
"Heh, you're so cute," Killer backed up into the street. "See ya later, Y/N."
You barely waved in time before he vanished from sight.
You couldn't stop thinking about him for the rest of the night. He treated you kindly, and his jokes were so funny... you longed for his company, despite his reputation. How long had it been since the tavern? A couple of hours? Were all monsters like this? Maybe there was a special thing about monsters where you grew attached quicker than another human. As if they understood the value of another living being and had a way to make another feel at ease around them. You tried to figure it out as you winded down for the night.
Maybe they were masters at this feeling that you felt: love.
Or maybe Killer was just special like that.

Two for the price of one
Small drabble for @ancha-aus 's new au ! Double Noot ! Or as I like to call it, Noot² ! :D
( part 1 by ancha, read it before reading this one maybe- )
Very short but I just wanted to make a little something because I find the concept particularly funny :')
I didn't go too deep into the lore since the story didn't really start yet, I just did the "encounter" with the gang so that's why it is INCREDIBLY short like fr and also because I underestimated how tired I am
Quick summary: Corrupt gets separated from Nightmare (Passive Nightmare, who is still six years old), everyone is confused
Tw: slight mention of miscarriage and pregnancy denial (ik it's weird lmao but dw there is context)
Tumblr media
How did this happen ? How did they end up here ? Like this ? How did they end up with a child on their couch when they went out to fight the Star Sanses ?
None of them was speaking, just looking at the little skeleton with lavender eyelights on their couch, the little skeleton looking terrified. They couldn't blame him, who wouldn't be after all ? He appeared.. no, came out of Corrupt, in the middle of a battle field, almost got shot with an arrow, was brought into a new place and was now surrounded by five skeletons: one with four massive tentacles, one with empty sockets and black tar leaking from them, one with a big glowing red eye and a hole in his skull, one you couldn't see his face apart from two piercing mismatched eyelights, and one with a knife almost as big as the child. He had every right to be terrified.
Killer was the one to break the silence first.
- Sooooo... Poptart ?
Corrupt looked up after a few seconds, realizing that Killer was talking to him when he saw everyone's gaze locking on him. His gang, or mates as they called each other, didn't like the name Corrupt, it had a bad connotation, one that meant that he was inherently bad, that there wasn't any good in him, which, to them, was completely false, so as they started dating they also started giving him nicknames, two that came back very often were Poptart and Sweetpie. Corrupt struggled to get used to it, being more accustomed to being insulted, just like the villagers always did. But did they insult him ? They insulted Nightmare, they insulted that little child sitting in front of him, but he wasn't Nightmare, so was he really insulted ? It didn't matter, Dream insulted him too after all, and he wasn't aiming these insults at Nightmare, but at him.
He looked at Killer, waiting for him to say whatever he had in mind.
- Why didn't you tell us you were pregnant ? Or at least tell Horror or Dust cause judging by the kid's eyelights it was one of them who got you pregnant, cause blue and red makes purple so...
Saying that Corrupt was taken aback would have been an understatement, and it didn't help that they were all staring at him, waiting for him to confirm what Killer said. The child, despite still being tensed, was visibly confused as well, but not for the same reason, because he was pretty sure he wasn't anybody's kid, and especially their kid. He would have remembered it.
- I wasn't pregnant.
Corrupt answered after a moment, making Killer frown, doubting the statement.
- Isn't that called a pregnancy denial ? I mean we didn't see you gain weight either so...
Cross asked, a little unsure of how to tackle the subject, he never had to deal with a pregnant monster before, and maybe denials were a sensitive subject, he didn't want to upset his mate by being too straight forward.
Corrupt looked at them, disconcerted.
- I wasn't pregnant, I have never been pregnant, Nightmare was.. I thought.. he was supposed to be dead !
He argued, but he only gained a compassionate look from his mates. Killer put a hand on his shoulder, looking way more serious than he was accustomed to, and he heard Cross mumble Nightmare's name.
- It's okay Poptart, you could have told us you thought you had a miscarriage, we would have supported you, you know..
Horror nodded from behind Killer, and Corrupt knew Dust thought the same even without looking at him.
- For God's sake Killer, I was not pregnant !
He claimed again, wanting to end this nonsense before it got uncontrollable. Killer was about to respond when they heard a sob. They all turned in sync, and saw the child, Nightmare, with tears rolling down his cheeks. He didn't like the yelling, it brought back too many bad memories, memories he would have preferred to forget. Corrupt shrugged to get Killer's hand off of his shoulder and went to the child, kneeling to be on the same level as him, and carefully wiped his tears with his thumb. Nightmare flinched, backing against the couch's case, but he didn't chase Corrupt's hand away.
- Hey I'm sorry, I shouldn't have yelled.. we're not gonna hurt you, you're safe here, you don't have to be scared..
Corrupt apologized, speaking with a soft tone to try and sooth the little one.
Nightmare looked at the goopy skeleton in front of him, still sniffling, but, somehow, he had a vague sense of déjà vu... something in him told him he had already heard those words, already felt this magic... the four white skeletons were new, that he was sure, but this black one, he was familiar...
- If you weren't pregnant... then where does he come from ?
Dust asked, sitting on the other couch, his legs still being sore from the fight. Horror had joined him, Killer and Cross were still standing.
Corrupt sighed, standing up too but staying next to the child who was now only staring at him, trying to remember where he saw him.
- That's Nightmare, the.. the true guardian of negativity, the one who allowed me to come to life by eating the apples. He started to explain as simply as he could. I.. thought he had died in the process, but turns out he was still there, just.. dormant, and invisible..
- But why show up now ?
Killer asked.
- I.. honestly, I don't know, but he's here now, and it's better he stays here.
Corrupt answered. Nightmare frowned, looking at the adult. He gave him life by eating the apples ? He did remember eating the apples from his tree, he remembered the villagers and the pitchforks, he remembered someone told him to let go when he took his first bite, they told him they would protect him, but he had to give up his mind and body. At that time, Nightmare didn't think much, he was already so scared, he would have done anything for someone to fight for him, to protect him, and when he heard this voice, he knew it was his only way out, and he gave up everything, his vision fading to black as he felt everything become numb. This skeleton had the same voice, and he was emanating negativity, a pure one, the same that emanated from his apples. Was he the voice ? He seemed so big... not as big as the other skeletons, but much bigger than him, especially with those tentacles coming from his back. Nightmare remembered his back hurting a lot more than the rest of his body, was it because of the tentacles ? They seemed to be heavy... he slowly reached out to the one that was the closest to him, putting his hand on the appendage, it was surprisingly soft and a little cold too... he felt the negativity swarm up around his hand, resonating with his own...
Corrupt looked down when he felt the child touch his tentacle. He didn't move it, letting him discover it as he pleased.
- So.. we're just gonna take care of a kid now ? Not that I want to abandon him, I sure don't, but.. are we qualified to do that ?
Cross hesitantly asked, tugging on his jacket. This castle was full of dangerous things for a child, and they weren't the most welcoming monsters either, even if he knew no one would hurt Nightmare, maybe he would be better with someone more qualified, like a Toriel or even an Asgore, monsters who had the parental instinct in their codes...
- We'll have to be..
Horror quietly said, looking at the little child on the couch, he had the same amazement in his eyes when looking at the tentacle that his brother always had before the famine took hold of everything...
Killer and Dust shared a look, not sure that they could raise a child. They raised their brother, but it ended up... pretty badly, they weren't sure they could raise someone properly after that. Cross was different, sure he killed his brother too, but he lived through so many different timelines, so many in which he was a good brother, in which he actually was caring until the end, he could manage to raise a child if he wanted to, if he trusted himself enough to do so, but them ? They would probably need to keep their distance, at least for a moment, at least until the kid started to learn how to fight back.
- I trust you all to look out for him, every one of you.
Corrupt assured, looking at his two mates from whom he had felt a peak of negativity. He knew what they were thinking about, but he also knew they wouldn't be a threat for the child, the simple fact that they felt apprehension from the thought of doing so alone was enough proof for him.
- For now he needs a bath, he said, Nightmare's bones and clothes being stained from the goop, I'll take care of it. Killer, you can go with Cross in Littletale and gather some clothes for him. Be careful not to be seen, we don't want the stars to know about that.
Killer nodded after a brief look to the child, and him and Cross disappeared in a portal, going to complete their mission.
- What about us ?
Dust asked.
- Horror can go cook dinner, with an extra dish, and you go to the infirmary and heal yourself, don't think I didn't notice you couldn't move your arm.
Dust didn't respond, only looking down in shame, he thought he hid it well...
Corrupt sighed, turning his attention to the little skeleton once they were alone. Nightmare had looked up when Cross opened the portal for him and Killer to leave, clenching on the tentacle, and was now staring at Corrupt, alert.
- Who... who are they... ?
The child hesitantly asked in a whisper, his voice quiet as he hadn't used it in five hundred years. He already knew who Corrupt was, he said it, but who were the others ? Were they the surviving villagers ? Would they try to finish the job ? What did they want from him ? Why bring him back with them ? Surely it couldn't be good, it has never been good when someone wanted him to stay somewhere...
- They are my... my partners, they have been working with me for many years, they won't harm you, I trust them. You can trust them, too, and if anything, I'll be here to protect you.
He tried to explain as simply as he could. He felt Nightmare relax a little, even if he could still feel his fear deep inside his soul, the child seemed to believe him, maybe because his feelings were clear and not tainted with mischief or bad intentions, or because Nightmare remembered who he was and knew he could at least rely on him a little.
Corrupt knew Nightmare wouldn't trust them straight from the beginning, but if he at least believed they wouldn't hurt him, then it was a good start, because now that he was here, Corrupt would never let him go out. He needed to protect him, he swore to him that he would protect him from the very moment he came to life, it was his whole purpose.
He wouldn't fail.

hi! Could I have some Bad Sanses headcannons with a new member (crush or future s/o) who has the power to control time but doesn't think that power is a big deal?
Like, he thinks it's not a big deal because he only knows how to see the future and that's it (because the power isn't trained yet)
(please make reader male or gender neutral)
Sorry if it's confusing, english is not my first language :(
Nah, you don't have to worry. Your English is fine! I understood you very well ^^
I'll do male reader, since there's not many for my guys out there! But as I know myself, I think that it won't be mentioned much, so I guess that you can still take it as gender neutral?
Enjoy!
Masterlist
Bad Sanses with a time manipulator reader (male)
(Nightmare, Killer, Dust, Horror, Error)
Tumblr media
Nightmare:
The only thing he's thinking right now, is; This dude can benefit me so much!!
Yeah... You just got yourself in a trap 😀
He doesn't listen to you when you tell him how you think your power is useless. He's literally ordering the others to train you while you're yapping.. wants to see your powers immediately.
He's kinda- disappointed when he finds out that you can only see the future. (Mf should've listened when you were telling him that 🙄)
These thoughts immediately disappear when he figures out that you can literally tell them the exact time the Star Sanses attack them.
Overall.. really manipulative.. constantly manipulates you into doing so many things for them- and they're not for the greater good either. 💀
Killer:
Mf does NOT believe you. (At first I mean)
You get bored of him asking you to prove your powers so fast 💀
"If you can read the future, then tell me what I'm going to do next!!" Immediately followed by your answer: "You're gonna call me a liar." "I KNEW IT!! YOU LIAR!!" "......" "You just had luck.." mhm. Yeah, sure. Luck.
His mouth literally dropped when he finds out that you in fact wasn't lying..
Now that he knows your powers are legit... Oh boy... He's gonna abuse the shit out of that..
And I don't mean it in the same way as the way Nightmare's using you, no! More like a.... Goofy way??
Bro's gonna be asking you about the next time he falls down the stairs, so he'll be prepared for that and not fall down. (He still will fall down.)
He will feel sympathy for you after Nightmare starts using you.. but he can do nothing with that. So... He cuddles you! (As a way of comfort) Only if you want to of course.
Dust:
Oh this nerd... He'll absolutely believe you! Like- the first time you tell them, he believes you. Wants to know more, actually.
He's probably the one you get close to the first, because he talks to you so often. I mean- they never really met anyone like you before!
He wants to document every single thing about you. Huh? Why are you asking him why your favorite food is important for this? That's only for him to know! (The dude is just a *closeted* hopeless romantic)
Wants to help you with the fact you can only see the future.
Visibly rolls his eyes whenever Nightmare is ordering you around.
Literally cannot stand the fact Nightmare is just using you, but he can't do anything about it... I mean, who in their right mind would argue with NIGHTMARE? Not him. That's for sure. But he will offer you comfort.
Horror:
Doesn't really care about your powers, but he does find it interesting.
Doesn't ask you as much questions as Dust does, but he does ask a bit about it.
He's probably the second one you get close to, and that's mainly because he sticks to Dust a lot, so he's basically a part of y'all's conversations. (Except he doesn't say anything 💀)
He doesn't want to use you for your powers, simply because it doesn't benefit him. (And he also doesn't think it's right.)
He WILL be pretty mad that Nightmare's using you. Will try to fight with Nightmare over this, but Dust stops him. (We all know that that wouldn't end good.)
From now on, Horror will always stick by your side, ready to defend you or help you out whenever! (Congratulations)
Error:
He actually thinks that your powers are dope.
He also wants to see your powers in action, similar to Nightmare, but he doesn't want to use you.
You might be asking, why? Well, his ego is bigger than the fucking sky, so he comes to the conclusion that he doesn't need for you to tell him the future, because he.."can predict Ink's move", he's also technically not part of Nightmare's team, it's basically just a part-time for him. (Whenever he's needed, or he's bored🤷‍♀️).
He's probably the last one, (not counting Nightmare), you get closer to. It's mainly because you don't see him often though.
He still lives in the anti-void, and spends a lot of time there, that's why. But you're not on bad terms either. (Don't have any reason to.. yet.)
Not much to say, really. You two don't interact much. But you can change that 😏

killer can be paranoid enough for both him and color for sure. he wouldn't kill anyone in the au they're hiding in, but he'd be shooting looks at anyone just looking at color wrong.
i imagine killer will choose a positive pacifist timeline to hide in, because 1) nightmare can't travel there, or at least he'll be sufficiently weakened, and 2) the star sanses and epic sanses won't suspect it. i'd like to imagine killer chooses a farmtale universe, since there'd be so much space and land that color and killer living in an isolated farmland far away from people won't be too suspicious.
though, i don't know if killer can trust color not to contact his friends. like, color must feel lonely without so many familiar faces. and can killer be sufficient company for him? i think killer will have to stick to color's side all the time to make sure color doesn't do anything stupid, like broadcasting to the whole multiverse where they are.
~ crowshipping anon
Yeah Color would definitely not be happy to be separated from his friends, and people in general—which being on the run kinda requires, keeping a low profile and all that.
The whole entire thing would bring of fears and traumas surrounding the Void, and he’d be worried about his friends. What they’re getting up to, if they’re okay, if he can please just let them know he’s okay.
Color would definitely feel overwhelmed and smothered by having Killer with him 24/7, demanding so much. Definitely not at first, but he will eventually. He won’t like being in one place forever, and he will want to move somewhere. Perhaps even to the point that he doesn’t care if it takes them further away from his friends, he can’t stay in one place forever.
So i suppose Killer’s solution would be to 1. keep moving relatively frequently. not exactly by moving between au to au, but just exploring the world of a Farmtale. and 2. make sure color has company in some form.
probably not other people (why would either of them need other people?), but perhaps animals. Animals like cats and dogs of course, but farm animals like cows and horses, and animals that can learn to even talk back or mimic voices—like certain types of birds.
Taking care of animals, talking with and to them, and enjoying their company and the peace of nature—in a place where killer can keep an eye on him and stay close—should be enough to keep color busy and content for awhile.
not forever, though. and killer knows that. perhaps killer keeps refusing until color has no choice but to exercise the control that killer has given him over him—putting his foot down that he will be going out to meet people (saejun & color friendship real??), and he will be going alone, and killer isn’t to come with him.
of course color will inevitably have to answer to the challenge of “or what?”, which he’d have to be willing and prepared to carry out anytime killer attempts to test him.

I am surprisingly still not dead
Undertale AU tickle fic
Characters: Horror x Dust (ship)
Context: Dust has been saying terrible puns all day and Horror is tired
□■□■□■□■□■□■□■□■□■□■□
The day has been long, Horror and Dust were both sent on a mission to gather food and medical supplies, Killer couldn't come with them as he was still hurt from the previous mission, hence the need for medical supplies. They needed to be quiet and discreet, they didn't want the Star Sanses to show up, they were only two and they really didn't need anyone else to be hurt.
But the problem was.. Dust was feeling chatty this day, in a mood for puns, which really didn't help Horror concentrate. He would make jokes and puns all day, they almost got caught because of him ! It was a miracle when they came back in the castle without fighting. Horror was pissed.
- Boss, we have what you asked for.
- Good, thank you Horror. You can put it on the table I'll take care of the rest.
Horror gave the supplies to his superior and left, not wanting to bother him as he was healing his co-worker. He went straight to his room, needing some well-earned rest. He landed flat on his bed.
- Hey Horror I got a new joke for you, you're gonna like it !
Said an eager Dust as he walked in his co-worker's room. Horror sighed in frustration, couldn't he be alone juste one minute ?
He watched as Dust closed the door behind him and went closer to the bed.
- Okay so it goes-
He was cut in his sentence as two strong arms pulled him against Horror's chest.
- H-Horror ?
As previously stated, Horror was pissed and tired.
- You want to laugh, huh ? That's what you want ? Fine, I'll give you something to laugh at !
Dust was suddenly very nervous as he tried to escape the bigger's grip but damn, Horror was really strong !
- C-can we talk about it ?
- I don't think so, no.
Dust had a very bad feeling when he felt Horror's hands on his ribcage, and that feeling got confirmed when these same hands started squeezing his ribs, sending him into a pit of laughter. Dust always put on a tough appearance under his hood, like nothing could get a reaction out of him, but the truth was very humiliating: to get any reaction you simply had to tickle him a little, because under all these layers Dust was actually pretty ticklish... and Horror knew that very well.
- W-WAHAIT !
But Horror didn't wait, he was mad and wouldn't stop until he was satisfied. He kept squeezing and scratching his victim's poor ribs as he was trying to escape, kicking his legs to no avail and trying to grab his tormentor's hands.
- The more you move the longer it will last.
Dust flinched at these words and immediately tried not to move, but it was hard, very hard, as he really wanted to escape this torture. His legs were shaking as he tried to hold them in place, trying not to move his arms either, his hands firmly gripped on Horror's arms. His face was a bright purple, he hated being tickled, he hated how vulnerable it made him, how he was reduced to a laughing mess, unable to defend himself or even use his magic properly. But it was Horror, and he did have a pretty massive crush on him, so maybe this proximity wasn't that bad, maybe he could handle it a little if it meant being against his chest...
But it was still torture, and even more when Horror lowered his hands to attack his sides, making him arch his back so violently that he was pretty sure he heard a crack.
- YOHOHOHUHU SAID YOUHUHUHU'LL STOHOHOHOP !!
Dust screamed.
- I said it would be longer if you moved, I didn't say I would stop.
Dust blushed more, if it was possible, very embarrassed by the whole situation. He felt tears starting to form in his eye sockets and soon running down his cheeks. He couldn't take it anymore, it was way to much for him to handle.
- PLEHEHEHAHAHSE STOHOHOHOHOP !!
He was reduced to begging. What a shame.
- Only if you promise to stop with your puns for today and let me sleep.
Dust quickly nodded his head.
- I PROHOMIHIHIHISE !
Horror pretended to think for a moment, just to tease Dust a little, then finally stopped his assault on the poor skeleton's belly, letting him catch his breath.
Dust was exhausted, this tickle session sucked out all of his energy. Horror let him go to lay down on his bed again, closing his eyes, hoping not to be interrupted again. He opened his eyes again when he felt a hand pushing his shoulder.
- What ? You want more ?
He asked looking at Dust, who was blushing.
- Can-can I sleep with you.. ?
Horror arched an eyebrow before shrugging and moving to the side to make enough space for Dust.
- Don't make any noise.
- Y-yeah...
He didn't plan on making any noise, he had been tickled enough for at least three month. He laid down next to the bigger skeleton, still blushing a little, and closed his eyes, soon drifting into a peaceful sleep, rapidly imitated by Horror...

IMYM Chapter 7: Should've Could've Would've: Dream
<- Previous Chapter || Masterlist || Next Chapter ->
Moonlight washed over Dream, Cross, and Blue as they talked, laughed, and walked through the Omega Timeline. Epic and Fresh left one way and Dream, Cross, and Blue went the other. The void lacked a natural sky, so the moon and darkness existed because of magic. Weather also existed only by region, not as a whole. Currently, it was a cold breeze, whistling and whispering past them. The skeletons decided on one of the town paths lined with road on one side and buildings on the other.
“Oh! A chickadee!” Dream held his arm out for the black and white bird to perch on. The little animal bounced across his yellow sleeve, pecking between the stitches. Dream smiled. The bird’s talons and beak were too small to hurt. Rather, it tickled. Their body was warm from hot chocolate and their heart was warm with pride and love. Dream’s eye lights drew to the badge on Cross’s jacket, a shield with the letter O reflecting light. It was the entire reason he invited them tonight.
Cross watched them and shook his head. “I still don’t understand your bird-whispering powers. You can handle a hawk on your head and owls are where you cross the line.”
Dream mock glared at his boyfriend. Though to be fair, he didn't understand his gift either. It's been there ever since he was a child and he discovered it by pure accident. It was only birds too. “Have you ever seen their eyes? All they do is stare at you, for hours! And they turn their heads all the way around. Tell me that’s natural! It isn’t!”
“No, owls are tame. Geese are the evil ones.” Blue chimed in. “They're bigger, they're more aggressive, and their beaks and wings hurt! If you put them in a fight, the geese would win immediately."
"Hm, I don't know." Dream pet the chickadee. "They're not so aggressive when you're nice to them. I've never fought one, or pet one, but they're nice. And owls are smart, so they could outsmart the goose . . ."
"So it's brain vs brawl . . . the goose would still win. Cross, help me out, who would win?"
Cross seemed to be trying to distance himself from the conversation until now. He sighed. "I- fine. Dude, if you want to know so bad, here." Cross took a piece of gold out of his pocket, leftover change from the hot chocolate. He flipped it in the air and slapped it on his arm. He lifted his hand. "Owl wins, argument over."
They turned a corner and the Star Sanses base came into view. They may have called it their base, but it appeared more like a clubhouse with rainbow paint on the walls. None of the lights of the two-story building were on. Something was haunting yet beautiful about the way the moon lit up the left side of it. The chickadee ended her song and flew away from him. A tingle went through Dream’s body, though he wasn’t sure why. It was only some light. Perhaps he was still suspicious of Ink leaving them on short notice. He seemed to be in a rush, but Dream didn't believe the lie he wasn't feeling well. It wouldn't be the first time Ink left like that, so he was sure he had nothing to worry about.
It was almost like Blue read his mind. “Shouldn’t Ink be here by now?”
Cross squeezed Dream's hand and hummed, looking up at the building. “He said he was going to be. But knowing him, he probably took a detour to terrorize some AU. Or he fell asleep and shut the light off. I wouldn’t worry about him.”
“I guess you’re right.” Dream stepped up on the light gray steps and knocked on the door. No response. He rang the doorbell. No response. He tugged at the doorknob. Locked. At least it answered one of his questions. Ink almost always forgets to lock the door, so he wasn’t home.
Cross watched Dream pull a key out of his pocket and unlock the door. He looked back at the house. “Do you want me to stay a while, flower? I don't have anything else going on and I have a bad feeling about this."
Dream laughed, used to Cross's paranoia. He increased his positive aura to calm him down. “Weren’t you the one who said not to worry? No, but thank you. The important thing is you making it home safe.” Dream stood on his tiptoes to peck Cross’s foreskull. “I’ll see you tomorrow. I love you, my royal guard." He smiled at the last bit, looking down at Cross's badge, the mark of an official Omega Guard.
Cross looked reluctant, but he squeezed Dream’s hand and let go. “I will. See you tomorrow.”
After Cross teleported away, Blue pulled a key out of his jacket pocket and unlocked the door. The wood creaked into the dark interior. Dream flipped the light on. Everything was the same as they left it. He hung his jacket in a closet, eyeing the staircase. It was still dark. Maybe sleep would help his anxieties. It was a long day.
“Blue? I’m going to bed early, see you in the morning," Dream said.
Blue took off his hat and gloves and looked up at the guardian, who was halfway up the steps already. "Alright. Night, Dream!"
Smiling, Dream walked up to the second floor. He made it to the top and flipped the light on, illuminating the hallway. They stretched and yawned, ready to shut out for the night. He grabbed his door knob, but Ink's door caught his attention. It was half-open. Dream still sensed that strange negative aura he felt this morning.
Dream peered into the paint-splattered bedroom and searched harder for that negativity. Ink could've been struggling with something, and he wanted to help if he was. Unlike the morning, the strongest negativity source was not the corner. It was Ink's bed. He held out his hand to find an exact source, but his powers seemed to fail him. They sighed and were about to leave, but a faint teal light caught their eye.
With curiosity, he crouched down beside Ink’s bed. Something was under it; the negativity energy burned brighter than ever. Dream wrapped his fingers around the thorned stem of a glowing rose and the blue paper attached to it. Two of the bloody points stabbed through the paper, cutting off a few words.
Dream turned the lamp on and unfolded the note, keeping it as close to the light as he could. They recognized the quill-inked handwriting in seconds. He scanned the rest of the letter and gasped, his bones went cold. His hands tingled, paralyzed. They looked back at the rose and called out, “Blue . . . BLUE! BLUE, COME QUICK!”
Dream listened to the frantic footsteps as Blue ran to him. He had to brace himself against the door frame. His left hand carried a kitchen knife. “What is it? What happened?”
“Read this.” Dream handed him the letter. His breathing was shaking as much as his hands now. “It’s Ink, Nightmare kidnapped Ink.”
Blue took it with a confused look. His eye sockets widened as he scanned the paper. “Oh, that . . . that explains things.”
Dream clenched his humerus and paced in a small circle. “I knew something was wrong with him! He’s been acting strange all day, but I thought I was being paranoid! If I hadn’t been such a sugarskull this morning and forced him to talk, Ink would still be-”
“Hey!” Blue set his hands on his shoulders. “Don’t blame yourself! We were all with him today and none of us noticed either. Besides, he was being blackmailed and I believe in him. If he did get kidnapped, he’s cracking bad jokes and making Nightmare’s gang regret ever messing with him.”
Dream imagined Blue's words and let out the breath they held. “I- yes, you’re right. He’s going to be fine, he's fine!” Dream hoped if he said it enough times, he could convince himself it was true. It had to be. He looked over the letter again, smiling with new determination. “It says they went to Outertale. I’ll prepare to go and ask around in case anyone has seen them
The knight’s eye lights turned into stars, “Mweh, heh! That’s the spirit! But I’m going to help too. I’ll go with you and we’ll save him together. In the morning though, we won’t be very helpful in the middle of the night."
================================================
He’s going to be fine. Ink is going to be fine. He’s strong. Stop worrying, everything is fine.
Dream tossed and turned that night. No matter how hard he tried, he couldn’t fall asleep. Visions formed every time he closed his eye sockets. He imagined Ink alone in Nightmare’s murky dungeon, shivering alone in a corner. Then he envisioned him gagged and tied up as Killer, Horror, and Dust used him as target practice. Nightmare laughed in the background, mocking. Cross told him stories of what happened to Nightmare’s prisoners. The torture, the violence, the personalized torment. None of them made it out alive. The guardian shuddered and channeled his thoughts to kittens and flowers. It helped a little. The torture was only an image, not a prophecy. Guardians could have prophecy dreams, but so far, he was lucky. He still couldn’t sleep.
He didn’t want to jinx it.
It wasn’t even the kidnapping alone that frightened him, it was the fact that Nightmare had done it. Nightmare was stronger than Ink, but luckily not by much if he played his cards right.
Dream sighed and sat up, turning their lamp on and picking their book off the nightstand. He flipped to his bookmark and read, hoping to get his mind on something better. He set his teddy bear in his lap. He knew it was childish for a guardian to sleep with a stuffed animal, but he found it comforting. He pet the plush’s white, almond-scented fur while he read. He used to love that smell when he was young and lived under the Tree of Feelings with his brother. His real brother.
While in the middle of his story, Dream's mind wandered to the one thing he was trying to avoid. How could he sleep like this when Ink is in danger? How could they rest while the entire Doodlesphere was at risk without its protector? Ink had never been kidnapped before, he was smart enough to escape. Or was he overreacting as it has only been a few hours? He was, he knew. But the last time Dream was too late to save someone from the dark’s call . . .
Please don’t forget who I used to be.
No, he wouldn’t let anyone go through that pain again. He promised.
Dream closed the book, set his bear in a sitting position, and slipped out of bed. He picked up his bow and quiver, choosing regular and a few poisoned arrows instead of his magic ones. The magic would draw too much attention, and Dream wanted to try the new herbal concoction he made. They made sure to step carefully so the wood planks stayed silent. Blue kept his door shut, he didn't even snore. They made it to the bottom of the steps and took their coat out of the closet. They had everything they needed now. So with a portal-
Dream gasped at a tug at his soul. His body was encased in a ball of blue light as someone turned him around. Blue held his hands on his hips. His eye sockets were bleary, half-open and sleepy.
“Dream! What did we talk about,” Blue yawned, “a few hours ago?”
Dream looked at his tired friend, ashamed. “I know, I’m sorry. I just have a feeling something terrible is going to happen if we don’t find him as soon as possible. I can do it on my own, please don't worry."
Blue thought for a moment. “Here, how about you sleep in my room tonight? Even if you don't, I’m watching you like a hawk and locking the doors. The last thing anyone needs right now is another one of us getting kidnapped.”
Sighing, the guardian knew he was right. "Okay."
Blue released his magic. Wrapping one arm around his shoulder, Blue led him away from the door and back up the stairs. Dream’s cheekbones glowed as yellow as buttercups.
Blue opened the door to his room. He had a blue rocketship bed in the corner of the room. Action figures covered a set of white shelves on dark blue walls. He also had a bookshelf and closet on the back wall. Painted across the ceiling were stars and constellations. It something they all worked together on.
Sleeping in each other’s rooms was not an unusual concept for the Stars. When the trio had slumber parties, they watched a movie with popcorn and sweets in their pajamas. Then they would all cuddle and fall asleep on the couch together. Dream also invited his friends to his room if they had nightmares or troubles in their minds. His aura and kind words could calm anyone down. He always let others vent to him. It was funny to him it was the other way around.
Blue wrapped an arm around Dream and flicked the lamp off. Having someone to sleep beside him relaxed Dream's thoughts. Ink would be fine.
================================================
As soon as the sun rose into the sky, Dream and Blue set out for Outertale.
The AU was always an endless ocean of night. Colorful stars of white, yellow, and blue, twinkled in the sky. The residents were the only ones who could tell the hour. But that wasn’t a bad thing. Somewhat, Dream could get lost in the stars and forget his problems for a while.
Blue carried the note while Dream held a clipboard. The clipboard had a list with the most likely AUs Nightmare could have hidden Ink. Creating it was the first thing they did this morning, so they missed some AUs. Dream also found pictures of the two. Despite the hope, the most likely answer was Nightmare took the artist to his castle. The castle was a pocket AU no one but he could enter.
His yellow boots were soon covered in moon dust. He followed the most potent source of negative energy he could detect. It was in the direction of the restaurant, so maybe Nightmare left some negative residue. Then Dream could try and use the energy to track him.
They made it to the front two doors of the restaurant, tucked between two other stores. The building was pretty: Ivory white with smooth walls, classy. The place seemed empty.
Dream and Blue walked toward the door. Blue tugged at the handle but it didn’t budge. He tried again. “We’re too early. It doesn’t open until . . . .” He looked closer at the door's sign. “Four pm. How about we ask around? Someone would have to have seen them, Ink isn’t exactly low-key. Neither is your brother.”
Dream hummed and nodded, chuckling at the comment about Nightmare. They thought searching around was the next best thing to do. He wondered what Ink was doing at this moment, pushing the morbid thoughts aside. “Of course. Where should we ask first? Someone could be working around, or Nightmare took him somewhere else after dinner?” He looked into the distance. Outertale was known for its tourism, so it made sense Nightmare would take him somewhere else.
Blue looked around. "I'll take the left side and you take the right! We'll meet back here in an hour. Got it?"
"Got it." Dream waved and set off to the right. Dream sensed the auras of the surrounding citizens. He searched for someone with a specific set of emotions. Perhaps paranoia, guilt, or at least uncertainty. It must be a lingering past feeling. Unfortunately, no one seemed to match that description.
The one that did hit him sent a small shock through his body, just because he wasn’t expecting it. Dream looked to the left and spotted a cat-like monster hiding their face under a hood. The guardian cleared his throat and walked over to them. He had a good feeling in his soul.
“Hi!” Dream waved over. The cat monster turned their attention to him. Dream smiled to look less threatening, more friendly.
"Can I help you?" The monster looked everywhere except at Dream.
"Yes!" Dream cleared his throat. “I'm looking for my friend who was kidnapped around here. It would’ve been around . . . I think seven o'clock? His name is Ink Comyet, he’s a skeleton, a little taller than me, carries around a four-foot-tall paintbrush. He wore a brown jacket last night. His eye lights change color when he blinks and he has a splotch of paint on his right cheekbone. “His kidnapper is named Nightmare Joku. He’s also a skeleton but with four tendrils spiking from his back. He’s also covered in black liquid and has only one teal eye. Usually, he wears a black waistcoat and a chained black cape, though I don’t know what he was wearing. Have you seen them?"
The monster thought about it. They nodded, aura anxious and uncomfortable. “I think I know who you’re talking about. I work at that place over there and . . . they were one of my customers. He didn’t cause any issues. They left and Joku took him through a portal. Ink looked happy enough, he was smiling and bouncing."
Dream messed with his thumb. "Did you see what was inside? Did it look like a castle? Or a dungeon?"
"I didn't see it, it was too dark." The monster looked uncomfortable and turned away from him. "Sorry I couldn't help you, I hope you two find your friend." As they walked off, Dream was left with more questions than answers.
Taking a moment to pause, Dream had to readjust the image in his head. He assumed Nightmare cast a spell on Ink and knocked him out in an alleyway with his magic. But Ink was happy? Someone would have to have noticed Nightmare cast the spell. Does that mean . . . no, he knows Ink, he’s one of his best friends. Ink would never betray him on purpose. Nothing Nightmare could offer could change his mind.
Nothing, they were best friends until the end.
================================================
A week passed; they still couldn’t find a solid trail to Ink. Each time they were close, Nightmare’s aura would fade. Dream proceeded to get more and more frustrated. The nightmares grew more graphic. The image of Ink lying on the floor, hoping for rescue was engraved into the back of his eyelids. He lost hours of sleep imagining it and refused to take any long breaks. They searched for at least three hours a day and did their job the rest.
Another week passed, and no luck.
Dream decided to try a plan that had been brewing in the back of their mind for days now. His negative memories kept him from doing more than considering it a possibility. But now, they were growing desperate. And it was so perfect, so obvious.
He cleared his throat as he approached Blue, who was sketching out a battle strategy in a notebook. Dream held his hands together. “Blue, I’m going to be gone for a few hours.”
Blue looked up from his notepad. “Okay. Just be careful and don’t be gone too long!”
“I won’t be, I’ll be back by sundown.” Dream waved his scepter and stepped into a portal he swore never to return to.
They stepped into a wasteland. Overgrown dull grass grew up to his knees. It looked more like a savannah than a green land. He still could picture the field of bright colorful flowers that grew where he stood. The nearby town was gray and long abandoned. There was nothing but bones and tattered clothes to symbolize people lived there at all. Dream sighed, the memories being too painful to bear. He set his sights on a large hill at the end of the village. Shifting their cape, they walked toward it.
Dream walked up the hill to his childhood home, a place he hadn’t been since breaking free of stone. The stump of his mother lay the same after five hundred years. The oak was worn from time, but still larger than any tree in the multiverse. The trunk was two feet tall and ten times as wide. It used to be twenty feet tall with large foliage, filled with tender gold and black apples. None reminded. Nightmare ate them all when he was corrupted. How did he eat nine hundred ninety-nine apples in such a short time? Dream didn’t know.
He swung one leg over the top of the trunk and pulled himself on top of it. A sense of nostalgia hit him. When he was about eight, he used to run as fast as he could to get back to the tree, challenging himself to jump up the branches. It was hard on some days because he was so tired from working. The villagers always wanted him to help, and Dream was willing to help. Too willing.
It messed him up, leading him to believe his only worth was as a living positive battery. That was why he was so grateful for Cross. While Dream taught him how to feel again and stop living in the past, Cross taught him he was so much more than this magic. Stars he loved him.
He never told Nightmare because he didn’t want to worry him. He was already so nervous and paranoid . . . and Dream was too late when he found out why.
Dream brushed the tree trunk, trying to refuel the connection with it. There should be a warm tingling feeling in his chest, but there wasn’t.
They sighed. “Mom, can you help me? It’s been a long time, I know, but one of my best friends is in danger. Nightmare took him away and I’m afraid he’s going to hurt him or try to turn him evil. I don’t want history to repeat itself. Can you give me a sign everything is going to be okay?”
Dream waited a few moments, staring into the swirling trunk. Nothing happened. The guardian sighed. What was he expecting? An arrow made of flowers pointing in the right direction? A bird to float out of the sky and give him a message? Nim to appear as a spirit and offer him guidance? She’s never answered him before, even when was still 'alive'. Dream didn't believe Nim was dead, she was essentially a goddess. Gods and guardians couldn't die, right? He couldn't die, Ink couldn't die, Error and Nightmare couldn't either.
Nightmare used to joke about how Nim only created them to save herself. She had no love for her sons, and Dream was starting to wonder if he was right. What mother would let this happen to her kids?
Dream curled into his knees and stared out to the broken village. “Ink, what did you get yourself into this time?”

Does Prim know Ink and Error? How’s their relationship if so?
In short, Prim does know their Ink and Error, but their relationship is pretty rocky.
For a longer explanation,
Similar to the original Paperjam, Prim was created through a very intense battle between the two Sanses, in the Doodle Sphere. In the aftermath, it was Ink that found them after Error had already left.
It was awhile before Error knew about Prim's existence, and when he found out, he freaked out and disowned him pretty much immediately. He told Ink he wanted nothing to do with Prim, and left Ink to take care of him himself.
Prim lived under Ink's care for a few years, and those few years were rough for them. Ink did try his best to be a good parent to Prim, but he traveled the multiverse a lot, doing his best to protect it. He often couldn't bring Prim with him, and with his memory problems, sometimes it would be weeks before Prim would see him again. They spent the vast majority of their time under Ink's care alone. Occasionally, the rest of the Star Sanses would visit them, but they hardly saw Ink himself. Whilst Prim loved Ink, this ended up turning into a detached resentment towards him. It was hard for Prim to look forward to Ink's return after awhile.
During these few years, Error thought over his decision to have no involvement in Prim's life. He felt guilty for abandoning them, the thought always nagging at him in the back of his mind. He kept asking himself why he didn't just deal with them the way he deals with the rest of the "abominations" he encounters. Eventually, he resigned himself to accepting that a part of him felt connected to the kid, and that he did actually want involvement in their life. This then spiraled into a thought process of realizing that Ink of all people was not suited to be a parent. And with this, he accepted that he wouldn't be a good one either.
So, one day, when Ink wasn't in the Doodle Sphere, Error showed up and took Prim with him. Bringing them to an old friend who could keep Prim safe, and hidden from Ink. And that's where Prim stayed until they were old enough to take care of themselves. Prim gained a bit of respect for Error from this. His feelings about him are complicated, but he was grateful that he didn't have to live with Ink anymore.
In this AU, Prim lives with Reaper Sans and his brother, taken from the idea that Error and Reaper were good friends when Error was Geno. Reaper didn't really want to be a parent, but he turned out to be a surprisingly good one.
There's more behind this that I'd be happy to talk about if interested. I have a lot of reasons for how I chose to play out their story.
Thank you so much for the question!!!! Sorry that the answer is so long haha, I hope this answers it properly!

Hi! I have arrived with a prompt idea! I'm a fan of your work and I was wondering if you could do a Cross x Reader soulmate prompt using the: You get a meter of how dangerous your soulmate is, Thanks!
You are going to be the most squishy person. Level 0 danger level. Hope you don't mind! I just thought it would be interesting! :D
Every time that Cross felt like he didn't deserve love, he would look down at the number on the palm of his hand. A big fat 0.
How could his datemate, someone that was supposed to be his soulmate, only be a 0 on the danger level scale? Sure, it meant that they weren't going to be mean to him, or anything, but it was still a pretty strange thought.
It meant that he would need to protect them, and the idea of that made him happy while also made him nervous.
For so long in his life, he had to fight and with his datemate having such a low level, it meant that they would need to be protected... at least it would give all of his abilities a purpose, right?
The idea of having someone to protect, someone to love and hold, meant a lot to him. When he was with Nightmare he would keep the number covered with bandages, so the others wouldn't see, and so he wouldn't have to see either.
He knew that his datemate wouldn't like what he did to other people. Hell, he didn't even like what he did to the people around him. They didn't deserve it! They... never did but, he did what he needed to do.
He hurt a lot of people, and things didn't even work out the way that he wanted it to. At least now, he was getting help, and staying with the Star Sanses.
It was a day that they were spending time together, and getting food. After Cross came with the Star Sanses, he realized that Dream and Ink, most likely without meaning to, had been pushing Blueberry too far. He was a mortal, not a god like the others. Cross explained to them that pushing Blueberry too far would be bad.
They both looked like they felt bad?
Mostly Dream...
They were in a random AU, getting food, something that Ink and Dream didn't need to but they said that they wanted to try it! Dream seemed almost unsure how to eat a burger and Cross had to stop himself from teasing the god. Come on... it's funny!
He takes a bite from his, looking down at the 0 on the palm of his hand, getting lost in thought. "You still thinking about your soulmate?" he heard, making him jolt and he looks over at Ink who was sipping from a milkshake.
They stare at each other, Ink slowly sipping while blinking his eyeshines in the same of question marks and a star shape.
Cross sighs, scratching lightly at his cheek making sure to be careful with the scar there "Yeah, a little. I mean... how are you supposed to know that it's your soulmate?"
"Oh! That's easy" Ink reaches over, poking his chest "Your soul would start to tug, and feel warmer. The warmer the closer you are"
He pauses at that, his eyeshine shooting down and puts his hand over his chest "Is... that why I've been feeling that tugging?"
Ink gasps, putting his hands onto his cheeks, and lean over to look at the other two "Guys! Cross' soulmate is in this AU"
They all start to ramble excitedly, making Cross roll his eyes, a warm smile on his face. These idiots...
While they were distracted, he got up to go and refill his drink, he had a little left but it was mostly ice that had been melting.
As he walked over to the counter to get a refill, he saw someone walking and they slipped on water that had been spilled and nobody put a sign. Before he even really knew what he was doing, he had ran over catching them in his arms, almost slipping himself but, luckily, he could catch himself. "You okay?" He asked.
They looked up at him with big eyes, their cheeks a little flushed then smile, nodding "I'm okay, thank you"
Cross looked down at them, and felt his soul jump in his body, which started to feel much warmer. "Oh-"
They just stare at each other while Cross was holding them, until Ink's voice could be heard, shouting "Just kiss already!" then a smack, most likely Dream smacking the back of his head and Cross' cheeks warm up, looking over shouting for him to shut up, and he helps the unknown person get up. Offering for them to come and sit with him and his friends? If they wanted to?
Was... this really his soulmate?

A Little Big Dance
As Ink searched the AUs of his Multiverse for trouble, he came across a little rumor. Well, actually it was a HUGE rumor, one that exploded in the millions of AUs seemingly overnight. Ink was interested, not only because the rumor was of a concert, but because of the person hosting it. Some strange being from another Multiverse, and that was where the rumor seemed to get unstable. No name, no description, no age, no nothing. Just someone.
He entered the Omega Timeline, despite his hatred for white, but instead of focusing on that accursed color, he couldn't help but listen to the gossip and pause, amazed at how consistent the information was. He shook his head, continuing his search for the one being who could help him figure out maybe a sliver of information that was 100% true, not just the unreliable gossip he would have to sift through without them. He passed Sans after Frisk after Papyrus after King and Queen, but he just could not find that damned-
Oh. There they were. The gray and black child was standing in a crowd of shouting and... angry, Ink decided, monsters and humans. They didn't chant any mantras as one would expect, but they all were shouting something. Ink took his time winding through the aggressive group, taking care not to hurt anyone despite having to shove his way into the center. "O-oh, thank the HEAVENS you're here Ink!" Core gasped, their hollow eyes creasing in utter relief as Ink popped into the small circle Core was trapped in. Ink smiled, happy to see Core.
"Yeah, well I'm glad I found you, because as life has it I've got a question." Some people where daring to try to yank Ink away from Core, to which Ink slapped their hands and claws away, glaring threateningly at them, to which they sourly shouted and yelled in response. "Ok, nevermind, three questions. Three." Ink raised his voice a little, doubting Core could hear him if he were to speak normally.
Core smiled patiently. "Alright. Could you take care of my little, um, predicament first?" Ink chuckled, unsheathing his handy dandy brush, making a portal in front of them. Core jumped in first, Ink following them, closing the portal before any ticked people managed to stampede on over in the AU. Speaking of which, it was the beloved OuterTale, one of the more popular AUs among the Multiverse. Ink could understand as to why though, since OuterTale was beautiful and calming. Core sighed, sitting down on the small floating island rock. Ink sat down beside them, his eye lights flickering with relief and curiosity.
"First question, what the heck was their problem?" Ink asked, genuinely sounding frustrated for once, albeit mildly. Core sighed yet again, cupping their forehead in their small hands, looking and sounding defeated. "Because of a rumor that I have been looking into, that group is particularly angry with the fact that we are just letting someone in our Multiverse that we don't even know for a concert we can't be sure even exists. I'm feeling... impatient, and I hate it," Core explained.
Ink was surprised yet again. Core, one of the most patient people Ink has ever met, was getting impatient now. All because of some concert. Ink couldn't lie, he wanted to go to that concert if it really existed, but he didn't know if it was dangerous, and he knew nothing about the other Multiverse that this proclaimed person is said to have originated.
Ink took a deep breath, looked over at Core, and asked sternly, almost barking out an order. "Can you get me all information about this concert and deliver it to the HQ tomorrow?" Core nodded, sensing the order. "I'll get it done in a giffy."
"Core. Since when did you not get a panic attack after being in a crowd for so long?"
~~~[]~~~
Dream heard about the rumor from DanceTale. As far as music and culture went, DanceTale was Dream's favorite place to be if he wanted to escape the stresses of being a "Star Sans". However it seemed that this time there was a new pressure, one huge thing taking the place by storm. What caught Dream's attention at first and even now was the sheer volume of people talking about the concert. Dream had to ask, what was the big deal? Why in the stars were to many people wanting to go?
He jogged over to this universe's Sans, who was stretching for what seemed like training. "heya dream," he greeted, smiling at the positive aura. Dream grinned, "Nice to see you Dance. I have a question, if that's not too much to ask." Dance chuckled at the most likely unintentional and stupid pun, but replied, "shoot for it dude."
"What can you tell me about this multiversal concert? I'm afraid I'm terribly uninformed, haha." Dream smiled patiently, awaiting an answer as Dance took a moment to think. Dance tapped his jaw in thought. "the only thing that i can say for sure is that whatever this is is hosted by someone not from this multiverse. no idea who though. maybe ink can tell you more?" Dream thought for a moment, dumbfounded in a way. How could Dream forget? Ink was probably all over it by now! "Oh my stars Dance, I can't believe I never thought of that before! I'll ask him right away! Thanks for the pointer, I owe ya one." Dance chuckled as Dream jumped away into another AU. Dance blushed mildly. Dream was so amazing, so positive. He'd never remember a copy like Dance for long, never in a milennia.
Dance went back to stretching, turning on the radio. People talking about the concert left and right, gossip and rumors running rampant. Dance wanted nothing more than a solid time and place, but no one talked about that. No one.
Dream landed in OuterTale, of course. Either Ink was here or in the Doodle Sphere. He never went into the Omega Timeline unless there was an emergency, and if there was an emergency he would have called Dream and Blue. But the was no call, not a word from Ink. He wouldn't risk panicking in public, right..?
Well, whatever the case, Dream found Ink talking to... Core Frisk... on a remote island in the middle of nowhere. Dream didn't like Core all that much, although he'd never admit it. It unnerves Dream that he can never sense any emotion coming from the little human, which both annoys him and worries him. Were they bottling it up or could they even feel? Why do they look like they should feel hollow? Do they feel hollow? So many questions ran through Dream's skull every time he saw Core.
Nonetheless, Dream ushered over to them, in hearing range as he heard a sentence come from Ink, who was facing away from Dream. "Since when did you not get a panic attack after being in a crowd for so long?" Dream froze, ducking behind a large boulder. What? Panic attack? Did Core have claustrophobia or haphephobia or something? Why would they-
"And why didn't you freak out after being in a place that's practically only white?" Core shot back, sounding uncharacteristic. Dream flinched. Did they go in the AntiVoid? No, there are no crowds there. The Omega Timeline? But Ink didn't call the others... didn't call Dream.
"Well in my defense I was a little preoccupied with that rumor. It's interesting but I'm worried and I don't want anyone to go just in case it's a trap plus I don't know when or where it's supposed to be-" "You're rambling." "Sorry, but you get me right?" Core nodded. "The Protector's job, I know. I think the consert will be a good idea though, you need to unwind with people, not just drawing." Ink flustered at that, feeling embarrassed about drawing, plus Core mentioning it. "Yeah yeah..."
"But it's not just about me," Ink sighed. "If the Dark Sanses go there and start a riot..." Dream blinked, suddenly feeling guilty. How could he have forgotten that? Dream suddenly became aware of the strong negative emotions coming from not only himself, but from the two in front of him. It hurt, and he couldn't just ignore it like normal. Ink was stressed and worried out of his mind, Core was... Dream paused in realization. He could sense Core! His demeanor immediately improved, reducing the pain.
"Funny how someone's pain could make the God of Positivity feel so good," a baritone voice chuckled in the space. Ink and Core froze, Dream brandished his bow and arrow, ready for an attack, still hidden from Ink's view. Damn you Nightmare! Dream growled in his mind.
"God of... DREAM WHAT THE FREAK." Ink's voice went from mildly confused to surprisingly ticked real fast. Dream jumped out from his cover, sliding over to Ink, who was now standing protectively over Core with his brush in hand. Dream scowled. "I'll explain later," he mumbled. "You'd better."
Nightmare materialized right before their eyes, from a shadow of course. The tall goopy skeleton walked leisurely over to the small group. His eye was devoid of emotion as always, his posture relaxed and nonthreatening if it weren't for the long powerful tentacles twitching on his back. The King of Negativity stood about two meters away, showing no signs of aggression, but no sign of backing down. His grin was as sharp and as cruel as ever.
"Go back to where you came, Nightmare," Ink hissed, his eye lights flaring in a dangerous maroon. Nightmare put his clawed phalanges up, as if he were caught by the nonexistent police force. "Hey, hey, chill. Just need to ask a favor." Dream glared, but Ink had to hold in a fit of laughter. "Why would we help?" Nightmare shrugged, putting his hands back in his pockets. "I heard a little rumor, and I want more info."
Ink rolled his eyes, not buying the story. "Why does this even concern you?" Ink jabbed, getting angry and hoping to make Nightmare uncomfortable. It... didn't work. Nightmare fed off of the negative energy, cocking a brow. "Uh... rude? I just wanna know." Dream sighed, letting in. Why oh why was he so weak when it came to his brother?
"We don't know much, just about the concert and nothing much else," Dream answered truthfully. Ink stared daggers at Dream, as he growled, "Dream.." Dream put his bow and arrow away, looking back at Ink, and replied with a sassy monotone nod, "Ink."
Nightmare rolled his eye light at the display. It was familiar, but he'd never admit it. His gang made similar interactions, quite often. But it was a confirmation that Dream released some true information, at least. Nightmare opened a portal, to which Killer and Cross came out, carrying...
"BLUE!" Ink and Dream shouted simultaneously. Killer glanced at the two, stating, "Attack us and we won't hesitate to kill Blue." Ink huffed, as Core whispered something to Ink. Ink nodded, making a portal and then sticking his brush back on his back. Core jumped in the portal and disappeared.
Killer and Cross untied Blue quickly, starting to get uncomfortable being around all three Star Sanses at once. Blue gasped as they undid the rope around his mouth. "You could have made it a bit looser!" Killer smirked, chuckling. "And risk you getting out? Fat fucking chance." Killer took out his knife, to which Ink had to resist the urge to smash Killer's skull in the ground, and Killer cut the rest of the rope off. Blue stood up, brushing himself off. He walked cautiously back over to Ink and Dream, to which Ink just stared open mouthed at the three Dark Sanses. "Why did you kidnap Blue if you didn't even threaten us?!" Ink screeched.
Nightmare grinned. "Backup plan." All six went back to their respective HQs. And Core? They were scribbling every rumor down, in every timeline, trying to find a constant or a source, and it would take a long time before either side would find much else out about this concert and it's host. Or, as the constant says, the hostess.
Hello sorry to bother but I had a question, how would the bad sanses+ chaos, react to a yandere, like in wondering how they would react if I were to be a yandere (not like the stealing stuff weirdo kind but kinda like a yandere that u wouldn’t expect to be a yandere, like u wouldn’t expect the person that seems sweet and innocent and kind to be a yandere kinda thing) like they find out but seeing the yandere like killing someone that had a liking towards them or hurt them (sorry this is long I read a bit too much yandere stuff and I saw the lovesick sanses and got interested lol)
Hello! I do not mind at all! My AU honestly revolves a lot about dark themes and I'd say it's- thriller-like? So yeah- they're all definitely mentally deranged. (Not including Chaos and the Star Sanses lol)
MTT REACTION TO YOU BEING A YANDERE
ACE:
Ace would know already, like- before you even did anything to be honest. He spend most of his life observing peoples behavior, and taking notes on this topic too.
You think he doesn't KNOW? You're delusional if you think that. But does he do anything about it?... No.. of course not.. because after all... He likes it.
BLADE:
Blade, even though his IQ isn't that high, probably also notices rather quickly. He snoops around you most of the time, doesn't let you even LEAVE his room, do you really think he wouldn't notice when his little sheep acts differently?
He even encourages it. Why? Well... you look so hot to him like that...And you know he wants more. You KNOW he probably gets off of this behavior of yours, he likes it.. and is most DEFINITELY not stopping you either.
TED:
He probably doesn't know. And YOU'D have a BIG competition by the way. People in Nightmares realm tend to...drool...over Ted. He has many people that just like to watch at him all the time.
He'd probably be A LOT thankful to you for getting rid of them.
(Sorry that this was so short TT)
So, I have appeared to request a soulmate prompt, more speficically the last prompt (The one where the s/o gets a teddy bear and whatever they do with the teddy bear example huging it, the soulmate will feel) possibly with Cross? -Your daily dose of EnergyConsumer
Of course :) I got a cut on my hand from a cat while I was writing this and it made it a little hard to write lol.
Cross has never hated and loved himself as much as he did right now.
Whenever he felt the touch from someone he couldn't see, he often loved it and hated it just as much as each other. He loved it because it was a calming feeling, and he got affection but he hated it as well because, you know, he didn't know who it was that was giving him the affection.
They were supposed to be his soulmate, and he didn't even know who they were.
How was he supposed to have a soulmate if he didn't know who they were? How was a teddy bear supposed to help you find your soulmate? Either way, he sorta... really liked it.
He liked the affection that he got from it, and he was really protective of the teddy bear that he had. Over the years, he almost lost it a few times but he never did.
How would he react if he did lose it? He had no idea.
He tried to never let it out of his sight.
He also made sure that it would never get hurt, as well. Couldn't have his datemate pulled into his own misactions, right? It would be mean if he let it get hurt just because... he's him.
There were times where he thought about losing it on purpose so nobody could use his soulmate against him. He didn't do that, but he did one even better. He locked it away. He hid it away from everyone, even himself.
He didn't want a chance for someone to find it and use it to hurt his soulmate to make him feel bad. Sometimes he missed being able to hold it against him but he would deal with the lonely feeling.
At least his datemate hugged him often, he sometimes felt like that was the only thing that kept him going at times.
He felt a little guilty for not returning that.
Then he went and joined Nightmare's group.
A lot of bad stuff happened, and he was happy that his soulmate didn't feel the same amount of pain that he did. He wouldn't wish that on anyone... other than maybe Nightmare but, you know, whatever.
He got saved by Dream and joined their little group. The Star Sanses. He didn't want to fight anymore, he didn't even want to be around other Sanses anymore. He wanted to leave.
So, after a while, he decided to do just that. Only for a little while, he would come back but he felt like he needed a break, and he spoke to Ink about it.
Then, he was pretty much kicked into another AU and told to relax.
He huffs, looking over his shoulder at the closing portal, "Ass," he mutters and pushes himself to get up brushing himself off. At least they let him do this? He was a little worried that they wouldn't.
Cross looks around, brushing off the dirt from his clothing, and starts to walk. There were a few places where you could buy things, nice smell of food... this was just some random AU where Sans and Papyrus' could come to relax, right? Or others if they were the Sans and Papyrus counterpart. It's confusing.
He nods his head at a few people but drifted away from them. He would rather be alone right now, honestly. Cross came here to be alone, or at least be away from others. He just... wanted to relax.
There were a few humans here and there in this place as well, most likely people that lived there before all of the others started to appear. He thought that that made sense. He moves his arms around himself as he walked, looking forward and sighs, shutting his sockets.
Damn it... why did he feel on edge even here? Maybe because there were so many other versions of him? He saw a few skeletons flying with their wings...
He didn't know what he would do if he had wings... most likely fly up then not bother flapping them anymore. He lets out a soft sarcastic laugh.
"Are you alright, sir?" He heard, making him take a pause, and he turns his head to look over at who spoke to him.
There was a human, they were looking at him, their head tilted a little to the side. They were cute... he stares without realizing that he was... staring for a bit too long.
"Are you alright?" they ask again, laughing a little now. It sounded nervous.
"Oh- right... yes, yeah, sorry. I'm alright" he rubs at his neck, "I've never been here before, I'm a little lost" not the truth but hey, whatever.
"I could show you around, if you want?" they ask, tilting their head, smiling. He paused for a few seconds, then nods slowly.
They started to walk together as Y/n, who he found out was their name, pointed out things that they thought he would like.
It was... enjoyable.
He really liked spending time with Y/n, they told him a few things about this world and how it became a resting place for other AU people. It was a real boost in money after the first few people came, which they said helped them out a lot.
He... isn't proud to say how attached he got to Y/n. Whenever he would go back to that AU he would ask to talk to them, and they would walk with him.
They told him that they enjoyed talking with him too, though! So he didn't feel TOO bad about it.
They had been hanging out together when the idea of soulmates showed up. Y/n said this "I love my soulmate bear, I hug it really often whenever I'm off and or have the time... I never get that feeling back though, I don't think my soulmate likes their bear or uses it often... it's a little embarrassing to say that out loud" they laugh, putting their hand over their mouth.
He was going to respond, then paused. Wait... could it be... he shakes his head to get his mind off that "That's a little funny," he starts, resting his head down against the palm of his hand, "I don't mess with mine, I left it somewhere for safety reasons."
"Are you trying to hint that you might be my soulmate?" Y/n asked him, in a teasing tone.
Cross felt his cheeks quickly flush with warmth, and he turns his head away, rubbing at his neck "There is a... chance? Right?"
Y/n hums, seeming to be thinking about it, and nods slowly "There is a chance" they mumble. They pat their hands on the table, blushing lightly "I wouldn't mind it" they finally say, after a second of silence.
Cross blinks and looks at them with big eyes, "Really?" he asked, seeing them nod.
Well, hey! This might... this might be fun.
How about number 16 "Do you understand how beautiful you are" with Nightmare?
Tada! I wrote this one. I hope you like it!
It took me a while to figure out what to write.
Of course nightmare knew about the fact that his datemate had been feeling bad lately. He could feel it, their negative feelings. Why were they sad? He couldn't exactly figure it out, and it made him feel a little annoyed.
How was he supposed to be a good datemate if they didn't talk to him about their feelings?
Sure, he could go and ask them, but what if they didn't tell him? What if they told him that they were fine, and he blew up and told them to stop lying to him? That wouldn't be good for either of them. He hated the idea of them lying to him and hated the idea of yelling at them for lying. Just liars were one of the biggest things he hated.
After they got back from a mission, he and the rest of the Bad Sanses, he could still feel them. Their sadness seeping through the walls like a poison through your body making you feel sick. Normally, the sadness would make him happy yet, because it's his datemate, he felt bad.
Damn it.
He wanted to make them feel better, make them feel happy. He can't do that if they don't tell him what was wrong though!
Ugh, getting a datemate has made him kind of soft, hasn't it? He would still hurt people, kill so many others, just... his datemate being happy, makes him feel good even if positivity was supposed to make him feel sick.
He never thought he would ever find someone he loved.
Yes, he did care about his underlings even if he didn't quite act like it all the time; it wasn't the same though.
They were his datemate, they were the one that made him feel... like a normal person again. They couldn't cuddle him much because of the strange bad feeling that came from him whenever they did, however, they still wanted to and that meant a lot to him.
Because of the bad feelings that they were going through, he decided to go and deal with it himself.
If they're not going to tell him why they're upset without him asking, he'd have to ask, and if they try to lie, he'd deal with it.
He heads over to their bedroom, knocking on the door his tentacles moving throughout the air a bit quicker than normal, just because he was annoyed. He hated the fact that his annoyance did often take over his mind and make him lash out. It was something that he had been trying to work on to stop, even if at times it was hard to do that.
Hearing soft sounds on the other side, he tilts his head a tad and hums "Y/n, can I come in?"
"...okay" a familiar voice says.
When Nightmare opened the door, he could sense so much negativity. Sinking into him like a drug that, at the moment, he didn't need.
"What's wrong?" He asks, crossing his arms over his chest, looking at them with annoyance and worry. More annoyance than anything else. It was just how he dealt with things most of the time, no matter how hard he tries not to.
They look over at him, then down at themselves again, frowning. They slowly put their hands over their stomach. "Do... you think I'm ugly?"
What in the world? He squints at them, silent for a few seconds "No, why are you asking? That is one of the dumbest questions I've heard before and I work with Duster"
They sigh, turning their head down. Guess calling them stupid when they already feel bad isn't the best idea... he lets out a soft sigh, and walks over lifting them up with his tentacle, one of them at least, and places them onto their bed.  "Do you understand how beautiful you are?" he asks, "Because, to be honest, it seems like you don't." he sits down beside them, reaching up tracing his fingers along their cheek softly "you... are the most beautiful person I have ever seen. I would destroy over 1000 worlds, just to take their stars so there would be a fraction of your beauty elsewhere."
Ugh, that was so cheesy, but he really had a feeling that it was true. He wished that they would believe it.
Y/n stares at him with big eyes, looking shocked, then they get tiny tears in their eyes, and they turn their head down mumbling out a soft thank you. He was glad that that helped them feel better, to be honest, he didn't think he would be able to do that.
Now to figure out who made them think that they were ugly, so Nightmare could kill them.
May I ask for "‘picking them up’ hugs" with Dream, please?
Sure! I decided to do something a little different.
Dream hadn't seen his datemate ever since the battle.
It was a fight against his brother, and it didn't... go the best. On either side. Axe got hurt, Cross also did, and they both left to deal with their people getting hurt.
The troublesome thing was that he hadn't seen his datemate since, and it had been almost three days. He was so worried! He went back to the AU and searched for them, and he asked if Blueberry or Ink had seen them.
Cross wasn't there to be able to help, which was annoying, cause he was normally the best at finding people. He needed to heal, which is why he wasn't here.
Blueberry, Ink, and Dream went around searching for Y/n, and Ink said "It would suck if they were dead," they laugh, "They were one of the most interesting people around!" Blueberry told them that they needed to be more worried, they just grinned, shrugging.
Dream wanted so badly to fight Ink but that wouldn't help at all, and he knew that it was just... how Ink acted. They were weird.
Dream couldn't believe that he would let his datemate get taken like this! What if they disappeared? What if they were taken by the Bad Sanses? What were his brother and his goons doing to them?
He and his friends kept walking around, searching for Y/n, until he heard a voice "Dream!" he perks up and quickly looks over to see Y/n.
They were a bit dirty, one of their arms looked damaged, blood staining their shirt but they were smiling, and waved at him with the not hurt-looking arm.
"Y/n!" he runs at them, and scoops them up in his arms, as he spun "I was so worried for you, I thought you were taken by my brother and they were going to kill you. What happened?" He asks, setting them down, and starting to quickly look them over.
They explain that they had tried to catch up with the Star Sanses when they were running away, but the floor gave out and they fell through. They got hurt, then finally they were able to get out! Dream was so sad when he heard that.
"I'm... I'm sorry that we left you" he couldn't believe that he left them behind.
They shake their head, kissing his cheek, "I don't blame you, is Cross okay? I... might have to be carried the rest of the way back, if that's okay"
Dream smiles at the kiss, humming happily, scoops them up in his arms again, and starts to walk over to the others. Blueberry seemed so happy, and Ink was clapping a little.
The marriage ask yet we have the star sanses this time :3 and cross if he didn't went yet (If you have cross on your asks ,if not ignore what I put)
Ah sorry, I don't do Cross ^^'
he's a character that I can't really understand/do so hope it's good for the Star Sanses!
Dream- marriage. Something that humans did, to show how much they love each other and how much they want to stay together. Dream never thought he'd get married, since it wasn't really something that monsters did, and even though he wasn't really a monster he wasn't human either, it's confusing but, guess what? He was getting married! To his datemate of quite a few years by now. Like... 7 now? It wasn't a lot for him, since he was an ageless being but 7 is pretty long for humans. He was so nervous, he didn't know what to do! He invited his brother, but he got the letter back torn up so he had been sure that he wouldn't have come, but he did! It was a total shock to come into the room to see his brother and his 'gang' there! Blueberry already having dragged Axe and Dusty away to get ready and Ink bugging Killer and Error, all excitedly. His brother was sitting, looking annoyed, but still there! The positivity skeleton felt his bones tense; before he smiles and hurries over "Brother! You're here, I'm so happy you decided to come to see me and my datemate get married. With how you returned my letter I-" Nightmare quickly holds up his hand, making Dream stop talking to allow his brother to say "I am here; because I want to see if your datemate is 'as sweet' as you say they are. I cannot trust your idiot judgment" Yeah right, Dream thought to himself; but nodded in playful agreement. "Now get back there, your datemate is going to be out here soon." Dream jolts hearing that and nods, quickly rushing back into place. Soon everyone sat down, other than his brother for some reason, Dusty and Axe even looked a little nice. Shocking. Finally he heard the music start to play, and he turns his head to look at the door which was opened, and in came his datemate being led by his brother. Dream's eyes widen, wait what? Quickly yellow-colored tears foamed in his sockets, dropping down slowly as he grins wider. This was so worth the wait...
Ink- Ink never thought that he'd ever grow so attached to someone to want to marry them! All of that was always a bit of a shock to him, you know? Having someone you want to be around even after you get a little bored, because you know they wouldn't be as boring later. That meant a lot for him, because sometimes he got bored of people quickly then either he would leave them alone or just leave for a while and come back later. This time? Sure, he did have to leave for a little bit sometimes but he always never wanted to! Now they were getting married, how fun. He, of course, invited many people! Reaper was here, Echo was here, the bad sanses and the rest of the star sanses and their friends. There were a lot of Sanses and Papyrus' since he had a feeling, if he was their protector they deserved to come and see the marriage! He quickly headed around to hat to everyone but quickly got off track with the chat and went to talk to someone else. He had to take a few of his vials for this, but whatever he was so happy! The shapes in his eyes quickly were changing with his excitement. Finally he heard Error shout "i-i-iNk! StOp tAlKiNg t-tO Ev-e-eVeRyOnE! tHeY'Re gOiNg t-tO Be hErE SoOn!" Ink yelps and drops down from where he was sitting above the ground with his scarf. It was for reasons... he liked being high enough to talk to Noodle. He quickly runs over to stand at the standing place, looking around at everyone then looks at the door and he saw his datemate walking in holding the pretty flowers and his eye sockets widen a little, before he feels something coming up so he turns his head to spit the ink out into the bucket behind the other flowers meant to hide the bucket. Ha! He knew that that was gonna happen. He sees you looking worried, so he gives you a thumbs up, grinning as a bit of the ink ran down his chin. He'll ignore that for now.
Blueberry- Marriage! It was something that Blueberry always wanted to do. Well at least when he found out about it. To be honest, it was a weird thing that humans so loved to do. It was so nice! A party for people's love! Isn't that really sweet? He thinks it is, and now they were finally going to do it. You see, datemates are kinda like a marriage thing, but for monsters! So they were going to be datemates and married. The, you know, only downside was he had no idea how marriages worked? Y/n helped him out a lot with it, his datemate, the one that he was getting married to and he was so excited but oh soooo nervous too! What if something happens? What if... they don't want to be with him anymore? The thought made him shake his head quickly, patting his hands on his cheeks. No, there's no way that they'd want to leave him! They were getting married, and that's good. He nods to himself, then he heard "Hey bro, what you doing?" he jolts hearing the voice, and turns his head to see his brother! He stared for a few seconds, then gulps down his nerves "N-Nothing?" he shakes his head annoyed at himself for stuttering. His brother lets out a little laugh, shaking his head "Bro, come on, we know you're nervous. It makes since, you're getting married... I can't really believe that you are, honestly. I'm real proud though. If you're worried about them not really wanting to do this? Don't be, I've seen the way that they look at you, and they love you" Blueberry got a little misty eyed and hugged onto his brother tightly "Thank you!" Stretch chuckles, petting the top of his brothers head, telling him to relax. After a little while of talking they were told that Y/n was coming, because of the music starting to play so he quickly got into his space, and grinned when he finally saw the doors open, bright blue colored tears rolling down his cheeks. Alphys was shouting out praises, Asgore seeming happy as well and even lady Toriel was smiling!
