i accidentally told my dad im aromantic (when last he checked i was pan and ace) and he took it way better than i thought he would. when he asked casually if thats what i was identifying as i explained its like, sort of? kind of? i know i can feel romantic feelings but i haven't in 3 years and doubt that's gonna change any time soon so it represents me currently since i really do feel aro outside of the handful of times i get romantic feelings. and he got it immediately. he went "oh so its a faster way to explain you're not interested cause of how it works for you" like . yeah! wow i didn't think you'd get that I'm impressed!
