I think there's a mistaken perception that is still circling about hyunwoo and his reaction to haein dying and I still see ppl use this as a reason to say eunseong is better for her (if you think this, you need to visit a doctor :)) but my perception of that scene was hyunwoo was happy he could get away from haein without having to suffer through a divorce especially because up until that moment in the entirety of ep 1, she was awful to hyunwoo to his face and like he tells the psychiatrist he hated everything about the family and he hated haein too a lot at that point.
Of course, it is still awful that he was fine with her dying but that's literally the point of the story, that when people fall out of love things turn so bitter, you don't care if they are out of your life or how, and you just want them gone but that when you are forced to reassess and stop and think you realise you may not want that reality because you still love that person and want the best for them.
Also this is a key part of hyunwoo's character growth but also a means of reflecting how he truly feels deep down because since that moment no matter how hard he tried not to care he genuinely kept caring for her because he wanted her to be okay and he didn't realise that his actions were genuine and coming from a place of concern. He also has taken ownership since for being okay with her dying and frankly has paid the price for it quite a lot so far and it's clear that if given the chance he'd live his life trying to make it up to her.
Anyway baekhong for the win, I love shows that add layers to characters and their relationships and know the meaning of adding gray areas and character flaws, that is what you call realism.
i would just like to praise ochaco’s voice actor here, she also did such a great job during this speech and i love every moment of it! i can feel the emotions she’s trying to portray in her voice esp the desperation in it near the end to convince the crowd to allow deku in and JUST REST GDI ;;
Jiang Cheng antis after the burning of Lotus Pier: hmm, well if MY parents and community were brutally slaughtered in front of me and I was traumatically thrust into a position of leadership of a devastated clan at like, 17, I would handle it super well?? and I definitely wouldn’t lash out at anyone (briefly) because I was angry and grieving, cause I’m not fucking abusive?? like sorry but some of us are built different 💅
Marco (Reiner/Bertholdt POV): 9/10 lost my fucking mind, frothing at the mouth, sobbing, angry tears. He didn’t deserve that. He just wanted to talk. Also cried when Jean saw him by the pyre and before deciding to side with the Scouts not Jaegerists. And when Jean kissed his hand before fighting the female titan. And when Jean led all the survivors to kill the turned government officials after the rumbling began because it reminded me of when Marco told him he would make a great leader. Also cried when he wasn’t in the smoke at the ending.
Armin: 10/10 tried so hard not to sob, throat had a large lump, head was throbbing, couldn’t breathe properly. Didn’t think he was gonna come back from it and considered if the show would still feel the same without him.
Ymir: 4/10 unfortunately overshadowed by the fact that I was still connecting a lot of plot points and my brain hurt. I did tear up as Historia read the love letter. Also teared up a little when Reiner sniffed the stupid letter at the very end of the show, because it reminded me of Ymir and her first letter.
Sasha: 7/10 saw it coming, knew it in my heart and bones, but ultimately understood why her character was killed (from a narrative perspective). Teared up but was mostly in shock. Thought I could handle it, then several episodes later I saw the shot of Gabi looking like Sasha from behind and didn’t feel the tears till my cheeks were soaked in them. Cried quite hard when she was in the smoke and saw the look on Connie and Jean’s faces as they watched her disappear.
Colt: 6/10 (I know it wasn’t a major death but come on) he just wanted his broTHER TO BE OKAY COME ON - pour some (tears) out for ‘em.
Floch: 4/10 first watch I won’t lie I thought ‘finally, jesus’ but on the second watch I considered it more and felt a bit bad for him as he said his last words to Jean. He died for a cause in his heart, even if it was a cause birthed by revenge. Felt sad when I saw the building collapse in on his body, knowing he died so far from home. I’m still mad about how he treated Armin and Jean though, so not many tears.
Hange: 10/10 music moved me so hard I’ve never needed more tissues in my life. Sobbed as Hange fell, but had a smile on my face as they looked at the colossals in wonderment. Proud of them, wished it didn’t have to end this way.
Jean and Connie (transformation): 100/10 not knowing they survived I absolutely lost the plot. I was furious and sobbing. They deserved to see a future where their lives weren’t threatened. Felt awful inside. Tears flowing down my cheeks and neck. Pained. Raw, open sobs. Even more tears when I realised they were okay.
Eren: 7/10 I knew it was coming. I knew it would happen from the moment he left the Scouts in Marley. I was already crying over Jean and Connie at this point so it’s hard to tell how many tears were for Eren, but I was mostly proud of Mikasa and those were the cause of the tears.
At the beginning morty is complaining that Summer got an attribute slider when he’d been asking for one forever. He says that Summer gets anything that she wants from Rick.
Later in the episode, summer states that rick gives everything to Morty for free. Which is something that we have seen, tho Rick used a bunch of excuses as to why he gives morty things for free (things like saying it was just to prove a point like the vat of acid episode)
And then at the end of the episode we see that Rick gives Morty the spider thing, literally fishes it out of the ocean, just because he asked…
Basically Rick spoils his grandchildren like no other! And we love him for it :3

the worst part of TotK is how i cant destroy Rhoam's monument in the plateu considering his abuse of Zelda directly lead to her hestiancey later in life to act and her lack of independence, self worth, and confidence, all of which she needed to harness her powers at an early age and if she had she would have kilt calamity 100 years ago
i usually like to tout myself as someone who is pretty unpredictable when it comes to faves because i actually generally am extremely inconsistent when it comes to the characters i will latch onto in any given media. like i have never had one consistent type, except for of course cowboys who i revere in every form.
