Leo being put into a situation where there is absolutely no fighting, just verbal manipulation and perception games, would be amazing to witness. We see a lot in the series how good he is at subterfuge and how he uses his perception to manipulate to great effect, so it’d be so cool to really see it put to the test even more.

Manipulation is one of the most effective tactical strategies of all time, so just imagine Leo putting this skillset of his to the full test. Imagine the boys slowly get up to busting bigger and more powerful criminals, including those with networks of crime under their belt, and a simple fight isn’t enough to take them down. For criminals like this, Leo’s skills in subterfuge would be deadly.

message: I love this type of art, I have tons of it on my Pinterest but anyway that's sort of beside the point, I feel called to do a message but I feel very low on energy within as of late. I want to try and keep this one short, sweet, and clear. interception: I'm getting the energy of the film "warrior" with tom hardy in where he plays a character named tommy who ends up having to fight his brother for a large reward in a wrestling championship. He was a marine in the military and has childhood trauma that shapes the way he presents himself to others and navigates in his interpersonal relationships and of course what his goals and purpose are in the film, I'm not going to spoil it for you but if this is your pile, I recommend you watch it. it's on Netflix. it also really does a good job of highlighting an aspect of ourselves that we carry in our spirits to marry ourselves to our trauma or particular factors of it to hide from troubling or conflicting emotions or circumstances. things that are "inherently" bad or negative in theory but can look "desirable" or "acceptable" to us because our motivation for accepting it happens to be a heavily skewed one.

" It's time you finally free yourself from your karma, from your vices, from your shadow, and from aspects of yourself or your life that threaten to keep you stuck or stagnant. There's a lot of Cullen and Blackwall comparisons out there, but I think the real comparison is Cullen and Mornay, given the way Cullen talks about Blackwall.

Cullen's first report in the jail in Orlais is, "Looks like our friend was once a respected captain in the Imperial Orlesian army. Before the civil war, he was turned, persuaded to assassinate one of Celene’s biggest supporters. He led a group of fiercely loyal men on this mission, and told them nothing of it. His men took the fall for him. A few lucky ones, like Mornay, managed to escape."

He mentions the assassination, sure, but he emphasizes the men who followed orders. He's not focusing on the crime, he's focusing on the men who followed Blackwall. And what does he say about Meredith?

"...I trusted my Knight-Commander...."

If asked his opinion, Cullen then says, "What he did to the men under his command was unacceptable. He betrayed their trust, betrayed ours. I despise him for it. And yet he fought as a Warden. Joined the Inquisition. Gave his blood for our cause. And the moment he shakes off his past, he turns around and owns up to it. Why?"

Again, he's not centering the actual crime in the conversation. He's centering Blackwall's soldiers.

Meredith got turned into a statue, but it was Cullen that was left to live with the fact that he, in his own words, trusted her and let her lead him to ruin. She's dead, and he has to live with the blood on his hands. Mornay was Blackwall's second, as Cullen was Meredith's.

Not excusing Cullen's actions, disclaimer, but my interpretation of Cullen's headspace during Revelations is that it was Blackwall taking advantage of his men's loyalty that gets to him the most due to his own past.

Here's the plan: I'm gonna stay in offline mode and finish working on the next two TFA updates (because we back baby!), then update my game, then run the batch fix for dx11 cc, and then load up my game and watch my PC explode. I figure as long as I have two posts ready in the drafts that buys me some time in case I kick off armaggedon in my game.
