It’s a sad thing to live in a day and age when this has to be said, but I am vehemently opposed to white nationalism or white pride or whatever you want to call your fascist racism or dress it up as. I’m saying this here and now, loud and clear, because there is a blog making the rounds that purports to be about heathenry but is actually a thinly-disguised white supremacist blog and I’ve noticed that some of you have been liking their posts.

In the US, the UK and several countries in Europe, including Germany, right wing politics and right wing extremism are growing scaringly in popularity, despite the horrible history of the 20th century with fascism – and the centuries of Antisemitism, Colonialism, and other atrocities before the 20th century.

These politicians and people are a severe threat to democracy, the fight against the climate crisis and to marginalized people, like BI_PoC and the queer (LGBTIAQ+) community.

In order to strenghten mundane measures that you can do to fight these enemies of democracy with a bit of magical activism, here is a short and simple spell which you can repeat as often as you like.

Folks, be aware that there is a company creating Funko pop style figurines called Norsies and Greekies, and perhaps other pagan figurines. These figurines (at least the Norse ones) contain hate symbols such as the swastika on them. You don't want to get them for your child and they aren't 'cute' collectors items. It's sick. I hope these things don't become popular and it shows that you always have to be forever vigilant when it comes to what you spend your money on.

Bog-wood Fuþorc Rune Readings

The Runes I use were imported from England and are made from Irish Bog Oak. Over the course of centuries and centuries, the wood turns black due to the preservative process of peat bogs. They are Anglo-Saxon or Fuþorc Rune carvings.

The Anglo-Saxons were members of Continental Germanic tribes that settled in England between the 5th century and the Norman Conquest. 

They had their own Runic Poem consisting of 26 to 33 letters. In this poem, they outlined not only their alphabet but also the symbolic meaning of each of those letters. I use the first 29 letters, excluding later additions like Calc (Chalice), Gar (Spear), Cweorth (Fire), and Stan (Stone).

okay i want a mainline Pokémon game where the ‘end of the world’ plot scenario is actually the work of the legendaries. i want the final boss plot battle to be the protag taking on the legendary pokemon and the legendary understanding the protag’s feelings and choosing not to destroy humanity. i want the legendary to be telepathic and as spiteful of the human race as mewtwo. i want the legendary to be the party that’s critical of humanity and will take any means to destroy it. i want the bad guys to genuinely be a criminal organisation that all the npcs are theorising have a ‘weather machine’ theyre using to bring on the end through catastrophic weather but when you face their final boss and discover the extreme weather doesnt stop after defeating them, they go ‘wait we just steal Pokémon. Us stealing all those castform, or other weather-based original Pokémon for the series, that was purely coincidence.’ i want one of the rivals to be the other playable character and also catch the opposing legendary, also through bonding to do their best to save humanity, to battle you with their legendary just before you face the elite four. and i want the champion to join you on uncovering the catastrophic weather, see your development and look forward to battling you with that respect in mind. I want another genuinely sketchy rival like silver, who is nasty for the sake of being nasty. and additionally, I’d make it seasonal to encourage longer gameplay engagement (# bw supremacy). imagine the possibilities this could open up in choosing your characters dialogue. the possibilities of locking certain Pokémon to in-game weather events. this is the next Pokémon game I want.
